The perfect start to the morning! We shared the Boathouse Signature Breakfast, and the crab cake was absolutely awesome. Fresh, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and paired beautifully with the poached eggs and chipotle hollandaise. The beachside setting made everything even better relaxing, sunny, and exactly the kind of place you want to linger over breakfast. Highly recommended!

A beach side restaurant, plenty of umbrellas to cover from the sun. Love the chill vibes this place gives off. Wonderful view of the beach, nice cool breeze. The staff was nice and the service was top notch. I ordered the Latte, which was smooth, and bold. I also ordered the Fish and Chips which was pretty good.

Holy cow, what a gorgeous place in the most beautiful location. We sat outside on the uncovered patio. Loved being so close to the Pacific. Food was delicious , service was great. If you are afraid of birds, however, this is not the place for you! They will try to steal food off of your table.

Many aspects of this restaurant worthy of praise. We went at night, so we couldn’t enjoy the view of the shoreline but I’m sure it’s beautiful during the day considering you are just steps away from the sand. The staff are very attentive and professional which complement the atmosphere of the establishment. Everything on the menu sounded good so we ended up sharing all of our dishes. The quality of food is amazing and every dish was delicious. My favorites were the flaky and flavorful sea bass as well as the best risotto I’ve ever had that came with seared scallops. Wish I was a local so that I could go more often!

Had a lovely lunch here sat outside enjoying the view of the. Each, ocean and yes, dolphins 🐬 swimming past, amazing to see them in the wild just beyond the surfers. Great service, good drinks, lovely food. Free parking when we visited, the carpark was busy and picked up as the end of school day brought families with kids to the beach. Free WC at the beach btw.

I went with family and I ordered the chilaquiles for breakfast and I loved it! The tortilla chips were the right amount of crisp with black beans on the bottom 😋 which had very good flavor. I also ordered the French toast and also delicious. Everything tasted great and the service was fast and friendly. My family also enjoyed the food and the ambiance. We got to sit right outside and have the perfect ocean view!

Make sure to make reservations or have patience for a wait to be seated. Once seated the service is great, waters always filled and ready to ask what you want. The location to the beach is great, which is equally popular. Choosing what to eat seems to be difficult since most items on the menu sound amazing. We ordered the claim chowder fries and crab cakes for appetizer....delicious. my main dish was the Mahi salad and my daughter had the pulled pork grilled cheese sandwich...both very large meals and tasty. We will be coming back to try more on the menu. Update: my favorite restaurant to eat at in Santa Barbara. Breakfast, lunch or dinner. You can not go wrong.

Great beach side restaurant. Friendly people and great bar. The bartenders were very friendly and had a variety of mixed drinks. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Food was good especially the wedge salad with shrimp. Reasonable prices on food and drinks. Plenty of parking. The only problem is the bathrooms, there is only 2 and line was always long.

Fell in love with this place and its vibe! Menus are wonderful, food was amazing! Truffle& Lobster mac n cheese was 10/10 Crab cakes were mouth melting! Muscles and garlic bread were beautiful! The only thing is I think they have to work of their ceviche a bit: more cilantro and more marinade/juice would complement this appetizer more. And sour cream on the top is a little bit weird. It Would be better without!

Beautiful spot, and great food. They don't take reservations, but their bar can fix you to-go drinks to enjoy on the beach while you wait for a table. I've had their brunch and dinner and both were amazing. Staff was nice and efficient, prices what you would expect, and I cannot speak highly enough of how gorgeous the view from the patio is. Parking is a little tight, but nearby beach parking is also available if the lot is full.

We went to Boat House for brunch and it was just as great as always! Located right on the beach, it offers beautiful ocean views that make the experience extra special. Weekend mornings can get pretty busy, so be prepared for a bit of a wait—but it’s well worth it. We recommend taking a stroll along the beachfront while you wait—a relaxing way to pass the time. The food and service are always solid, making it a reliable go-to for a laid-back brunch by the water. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

Walking in was a pleasure as we were greeted with a smile and felt welcomed. We requested beachside seating and were seated right away. The sun was just splendid as we arrived about 30 min prior to sunset. Our waitress arrived shortly after we were seated and welcomed all our questions with great knowledge of the menu. The service was top notch! We started with the lobster bisque and shared the halibut entree. The halibut was fantastic with the potato pancake which was crisp on the outside and creamy inside. The fish was cooked perfectly and so naturally wonderful. Not a fan of the vegetables, though the display was colorful. The cocktails were not memorable and considerably pricy. The location, vibe, service and view create a lasting and awesome memory!

Ordered the eggs Benedict with avocado, calamari, and shrimp with chips. Food was decent overall, could be better for the price that was charged, atmosphere and service was pretty good. Unfortunately it was raining and so the sea view wasn’t as pretty as in pictures I’ve seen but overall decent venue!

Chowder fries are a must-have, they blew my socks off in both concept and execution! The seafood pasta was tasty but the sauce is definitely not spicy. Salad was subpar and service is lacking, we had to wait quite a while for water refills which was a problem when sitting in the glaring sun. The beachfront dining area gets way too hot during midday. The dog parking area is cute but needs more attention - their water was also empty which is dangerous when it’s hot outside.

I ordered the Boat House Omelette for its uniqueness. Lobster and shrimp in an omelette. I’ve never heard of it, but it was very good. The potatoes and house made biscuit were just filler. The French Toast was ok. Good flavor, but needed more soaking. Very busy, bustling and noisy restaurant, but delivers quickly.
