Great service, great staff. Avo toast is a specialty. Fun music nights on occasion with full beer and wine! Great addition to Mesa.
Overall the coffee spot was great, but it had a weird smell that was ever present while I was working there on my computer.
Such a cute coffee shop with good vibes. I really like matcha latte here. The staffs are very friendly
Cute little coffee shop i didn't even know was there.
Cool Staff with quick service. Clean and Open Space. Plenty of seating (Indoor and Outdoor) with a multitude of outlets for electronics. Great Coffee/Espresso and Tea Lattes. The varieties of milks and flavorings make it a nice place for vegan consumers.
Great lattes and a wide selection of pastries from Renaud's and Hook & Press. They also have other food items on their menu. Friendly staff. The space has a great feel to it - very open, light, and airy. Outdoor seating also available.
When there's a blue moon and surf in Santa Barbara, this is the best place to start my morning! Everything is nice: the people, the modern beachy decor, the coffee... They open nice and early too, so I can get out and catch some nice waves down the street!
Good coffee, pastry, and other snacks. Fast service and friendly staff. Great place to sit outside. I miss the funky atmosphere of the old place a little. But definitely go here!
Coffee is delicious here, lots of pastries and breakfast options. They have gluten free muffins. Service always smiling and pleasant. Favorite coffee shop in town.
Tim and the rest at lighthouse are great!! The best coffee shop in town and the people that work there make it work. The coffe is good but You cannot find a more genuinely friendly staff. They are the reason I come back time and time again. Recommend!!!!
This place is wonderful, bright, bustling, good food, great coffee, and phenomenal service. Conveniently located next to cvs and lazy acres. Lots of students and professionals camp out here and do productive things. Wish they had more outlets though. Wonderful energy all around!
Cucumber toast is legit. And their coffee is basically the same quality as Starbucks. Good outdoor seating for pandemic. Wifi good. Nowhere to plug in though.....
I visited Lighthouse Coffee today and had their breakfast sandwich along with the cucumber toast. Both were delicious — the sandwich was hearty and satisfying, and the cucumber toast was fresh, crisp, and full of flavor. The ambience inside is warm and inviting, making it a nice spot to start the morning. The coffee was good, though the flavor could be a bit more balanced to match how great the food is. Overall, a very pleasant experience and definitely a place I’d return to.
Went twice on the same weekend. Had a Gibraltar (cortado), cappuccino, honey lavender latte, and a drip coffee/black and all were good. The breakfast sandwich, lox bagel, and acai bowl were also all tasty and well made with good quality ingredients. In particular the salmon/lox was great and not even a hint of fishiness that often happens when breakfast places leave some of the dark meat in it. Has plenty of seating inside and out, and ample parking. Indoors they have acoustical panels on the ceiling that cut down on the noise from lack of other soft surfaces in the room, a nice touch. Prices reasonable for coastal California/Santa Barbara.
A wonderful and peaceful little spot to grab a morning latte and exhale a bit. Baristas are friendly, kind, and skilled. I had an almond croissant - it was delicious!
I can't help but gush about Lighthouse Coffee on the Mesa! The Mesa is home to me and you will always find me there! From the moment I stepped foot into their charming coffee shop, I knew I had found my go-to matcha that I simply can't live without. Their welcoming ambiance, combined with the soothing aroma of freshly whisked matcha, instantly puts me in the perfect mood. Every visit to Lighthouse Coffee is an absolute delight. The baristas are not just skilled in crafting the most exquisite matcha beverages; they genuinely care about their customers' preferences, ensuring that each cup is perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. Whether it's a classic matcha latte with expertly frothed milk or a delicious cup of coffee, their dedication to quality never disappoints. All in all, Lighthouse Coffee has become an indispensable part of my daily routine. I love bringing my laptop and getting some work done 🏡📑 while I sip my yummy matcha 🍵😋
Great local independent coffee shop serving up your favorite hot/cold beverages and fresh baked goods.
We stop over for some real coffee and it didnt disappoint. Love the coffee and the ambience. If we have more time, we will have stay here longer.
Very cute coffee house, lox bagel (in my case lox toast) was great

Coffee is absolutely delicious! I also had the yogurt bowl with granola and fruit. Yummy! Great coffee shop vibe and friendly staff. Can't wait to come again the next time I am in SB.

When I lived on the Mesa it was my go-to coffee shop. Lots of space, No soft chairs, difficult to park, and always filled with millennials working on their computers! Good smooth lattes!
Cute little coffeeshop with great vanilla oat lattes! Loved the peanut butter banana toast as well. The nice girl taking my order was super sweet and we bonded over our love for Cavalier King Charles. :-)
Seriously wonderful- I was lucky enough to stop by a couple times when visiting family in the area recently. The atmosphere is perfect- great for conversation or some productive work- the coffee delicious, and the food incredible. I had an almond croissant one morning, and I've honestly been day dreaming about their avocado toast ever since I had it the second day. Definitely will stop back next time I visit, wish we had a place even half as good in my town.
Food and coffee was amazing. The tall guy behind the counter with the brown hair wearing a cap was so friendly! (Forgot to get their names). The girl making the coffees was also just terrific. We’re so kind and helpful with our fussy orders and made special effort to pronounce our difficult Irish names. Both customer service and food was excellent would definitely recommend.
Amazing coffee shop open from early hours. I had a hot dirty chai, and it was extremely rich in flavor and one of the top chai’s i’ve had in California. The cafe is so cozy with a charging port, water station, and a clean restroom. Recommended!
Outstanding! Food is delicious. Avocado toast is amazing, Becca’s lemonade worth getting. Kids loved the lox bagels and pastries. Good coffee. We returned both mornings during our trip to SB.
Great coffee spot in Santa Barbara. Solid coffee, helpful staff and a great setting. Seem to end up here every time I’m in town.
Everything I had here was delicious. The avocado toast and the almond butter toast were both amazing, though i do wish they had some sweeter toast options. It's a popular place so make sure to get there early to beat the weekend crowd!

Nice little coffee shop on the Mesa with an open, airy feeling. Plenty of room to sit, chat, or work. Coffee and teas are good, staff is friendly.
It's a cool little coffee house, don't really have more than that to say. Nice people running the place and it seems like almost everybody there was sipping coffee and focusing on their PCs
Nice coffee shop on the Mesa. outdoor seating available. Good green tea lattes with gluten free toast and Avacado. There are a number of breakfast options. College and local hangout. Recommended!
Breakfast sandwich was good nothing too crazy but enjoyable. Bagel it came with was pretty awesome. Mocha was not too sweet and coffee forward. Everything wasn’t all brought out to our table so had to go check, but no biggie.

Pretty good coffee and vibe inside. Don’t try and get anything other than a drip coffee if you have less than 30mins - very very slow
The bagels and cream cheese are good but the coffee is watered down So I don’t get my coffee there but I would recommend that the management goes around to different coffee houses in checks to see with the competition is doing. I would ask management to put more coffee in their mixes when they do their regular coffee blends. If others share my perspective please provide input so that we can get this coffeehouse to provide the best coffee for the neighborhood
Nice location however the service from the staff needs some work with customer service. They either don’t seem to enjoy their job or were not trained properly on customer service. The drinks were okay. I’m sure there are better coffee shops in the area to choose from. Seems more like a campus coffee shop mainly for college stufents
They make people toast their own bagels? 4 employees standing around behind the counter and a line of customers is forming around a toaster ill placed next to the cream on the condiment bar? Incredibly poor design.
Good strong coffee! Nice to work here! Feeling disappointed about the banana toast. It’s a tiny skinny piece for the $$$$

This location (Near Lazy Arces) could use some help. . Today at this location oat cap ok, not great but drinkable, has been a lot better. Peanut butter banana toast is a no. Bread is brittle and tasteless, banana very very scanty. Why bother getting this? Just don't yet I've had yummy food and coffee from the Goleta location. So hit or miss. Maybe it's the location??? ......... ................. At times this place has been wonderful. Today both my cap and my breakfast sandwich were terrible!!! Had to throw away the badly made, sour cap. For the price charged expect consistency with coffee drinks that are tasty,, well made and leaves one feeling satisfied, not horrified with sour improperly flat heavy stomachache inducing cap and wads of salt poured into the sloppily made sandwich. Maybe a bad day for the staff or inadequate care or training of the staff but I did not appreciate expensive sub par food.

Food and coffee seem good but staff seem over it, which I can live with, but if your trying to come here to get work done and or study using a laptop go else where, router never seems to work right and I’m forced to burn data to hotspot. Wont be back for anything but a grab and go.
Love this place but especially appreciate not having dogs inside...no pet sign on the door but 2 big dogs up with faces on the counter....worker came out and fed them then right back to making drinks without washing her hands....disgusting.
A great place to work but every time I’ve come here in the past month the wifi doesn’t work. Nobody is able to connect and has to turn on a hotspot. We’ve asked management but they just suggest “disconnecting and reconnecting.” A great place if they fix their wifi
Great coffee but terrible service I have been going to lighthouse even before it was light house but it seems the new staff is lacking in the manners category honestly just rude people I will take my business elsewhere.
They serve handlbar coffee but they do not make it like handlebar does, I was also put off last time I went in here for my with tip 6 dollar latte when I had to get a political earful from the child at the register
Terrible drinks, didn't finish 3.5 oz of it. 2 oat milk Gibraltars. Steamed way too hot, extraction was watered down and overextracted, maybe something like 1 to 3 or more. They were quite busy so they may not care but just trying to provide some constructive feedback.
The very last time at Lighthouse… The two girls working at that time (2/20 at 1ish pm) were both very unfriendly and unprofessional with us, and it was not the first time at the Mesa location. They deprioritized our drinks and made us wait for 15 minutes for two coffees, and it was not a busy time at all. They were preparing other drinks that were ordered later, and with no more drinks in the queue, the two “baristas” went to the back office for 5 minutes and then came back to prepare the two coffees. Once, we were out for a walk and tried one of the coffees; it had no taste and was cold (weird!) Again, it may not be a big deal, but it was not the first time at this place. Very sad! Thank SB has many other great alternatives for coffee! Thank you, Lighthouse; I hope you will do better next time if you want to keep any remaining customers….
First the food was super overpriced one slice of avo toast 10$ And then I went to the bathroom real quick came out and they already took my drink and food and tossed it. My drink was full! the 2 girls that were working were just talking and gossiping the entire time. Would not recommend
Every time I come here the workers are rude. They don’t honor their hours that they state are open. Final product of espresso is extremely average. I have tried over 5 times because the location is so well placed but disappointed every time.
Unbelievably disorganized….get your team trained. Simply ordered a Lox bagel and after 30 minutes they refunded me cause they couldn’t figure it out. Also, a cortado shouldn’t have majority foam.
I’m hard pressed to give any location a one star review but Lighthouse managed to hit that threshold. Despite being branded as specializing in coffee, they have seemingly no variety in beans, roast, or tasting notes to choose from. The drink prices, other than a basic coffee or tea, are roughly 20% more than you would pay at a Starbucks, and their food prices are astronomically high. I made it just inside my front door before their travel cup gave out leaving me with a lovely mess and very little coffee to try; it wasn’t special. The second piece of my order was intended to be a chai latte, however it ended up being, as far as I can tell, a hot chocolate. Pretty much a total strikeout. Sorry guys, but I’d pass.

The atmosphere was dim, and the employees appeared disengaged, with none displaying a welcoming demeanor. The coffee was subpar, while the pastry was passable. Overall, I would not recommend this establishment.
