Everything was spectacular ❤️ We arrived late on a holiday by chance, unfamiliar with the place or the area, and the first thing we fell in love with was the peaceful, sunny exterior that flanked the farmhouse. They set up our table outside in no time. The service was unbeatable; attentive and pleasant. We had the tasting menu, and the experience was—for us—perfect. The wine list is something you'll get lost in until you find your perfect one 😍 The desserts are delicious. We'll definitely be back ❤️❤️

We went for the second time a few days ago. The food is spectacular. But I must say the waiter wasn't up to the restaurant's standards. He would clear our plates before we'd finished eating; for example, out of four anchovy fillets, he tried to take the plate with half an anchovy still on it. Also, they seated us right in front of the bathroom door. I think they should have a separate entrance so you don't see how many people are going in and out of the restroom from the table.

Highly recommended. If you want a good dinner, with good food and at a reasonable price. The service was attentive and charming. We arrived late for dinner, around 10:40 p.m., and yet they treated us without any rush and with great attention to detail. We ordered an exquisite cheese board, then pumpkin noodle soup, and two desserts. We had coffee outside in the garden and stayed up late talking. They closed and left. A perfect evening.

The service was simply impeccable; the staff was very friendly and efficient. The appetizers were unusual, but that made them very interesting, and they were also delicious. The main courses surprised me quite a bit; they were generous portions of a high culinary standard. The desserts were varied and tasty. They had a smooth texture and were very flavorful. Plus, everything except the ice cream is homemade, and this restaurant is a hidden gem on the highway.

What a lucky find along our drive from France to Portugal. It seemed we were the only random costumers at this restaurant, all the other tables were taken by local and looked like regular patrons, many groups consisting of a few generations, which is for me is a very good sign. Beautiful room, impeccable service, and what is the most important - amazing food! Will definitely be back.

Exquisite service. Cozy atmosphere. They go out of their way to please. As a starter, they offer a very good homemade gin and tonic. They offer rich chicken broth, and the croquettes are exquisite. We tried anchovies as a starter, which were good. The Roman calamari was a little tough but exquisitely flavored. The main course was unbeatable steak tartare, and the lamb shoulder was delicious and very tender. The desserts were excellent, and the wine recommendation was perfect.

A beautifully restored farmhouse with an attached marquee for large events and gourmet cuisine. This is my fourth visit to Marangels restaurant, and as always, I leave delighted. The food is excellent, and you can tell it's prepared with high-quality ingredients. In my opinion, to give it a fifth star, the dishes need a bit more cohesion, as everything is delicious, but it doesn't quite bring tears to my eyes. This time, I had a set menu of tapas, with a choice of main course and dessert. The service was very good and always attentive to the customer, although a touch of warmth would have been welcome, as you spend a couple of hours there. I also recommend that the more adventurous try the weekday menu, as you can't choose the dishes, and they always surprise you with something you wouldn't have ordered beforehand, and then you wonder how you ever lived without it. They have ample parking in front of the restaurant, and you can enjoy your coffee or a drink in the spacious and beautiful garden that surrounds the house. A Llémena classic you must try!

Beautiful rustic farmhouse. Upon arrival, the welcome was a bit cold, but thanks to Salvatore, the waiter who served us, we felt very comfortable and well looked after. Slow service. The wine they served us wasn't the same as the one on the wine list. We ordered a 2016 Quintaluna bottle, but they brought us a 2018. They told us they hadn't updated the wine list and that we should charge €10 more for that bottle. When we checked online, the same bottle costs the same: €13.50 for the 2016-2018 vintage. The food was good, but when we got to dessert, they were out of half the menu. Things have changed since COVID-19; it's not what it used to be...
