Can’t say enough. They were so helpful with my food allergies. The dinner, every course was amazing. I had the leftovers for lunch the next day, and it was still great. Will return.
The food here is phenomenal. There is plenty of room with an upstairs and downstairs seating area. There is also plenty of parking. I would advise making reservations as it is quite busy.
You know an Italian restaurant is good when other Italians eat there with their extended family FROM Italy. Do not sleep on this place, for you will miss out on perhaps some of the best Italian food SoCal has to offer. Antonello's has been here about as long as I have been alive, and I'm only now just figuring out how amazing it is. The chef very much knows his craft, creating some true culinary masterpieces from scratch. The dishes here are truly spectacular. The Gnocchi? Melts in your mouth alongside the cheese and the sauce is rich and delicious. The Osso Bucco? Also rich, so tender and just absolute artistry for your taste buds. Their Seabass (previously mentioned as dry) was actually very moist, flavorful and delicious. And don't even get me started on the Tiramisu and their chocolate cake (forgot the name of the dish 🤦🏼), both of which are perhaps the best you'll ever have. All in all, my fiance and I had a great experience. We shook hands with Sonya, the manager, she was so warm and so kind, checking in on out experience throughout the evening. My only "gripe", if I could call it that? A $35 corkage fee. A little higher than average, which is around $20 to $25, but it is so well worth it. You MUST try Antonello's.
This is a very traditional and authentic Italian restaurant. Their pasta is made fresh daily and have lots of other meal options like beef ribs with risotto, calamari, salads and serve a kids menu aswell. Only open in the later afternoon hours 5:00 to 9ish. I had the lentil and pasta fagioli and they were amazing (on two different occasions) We have become regulars since my last post and can say the atmosphere is welcoming, lots of delicious options even for a picky eater. They even have a few dishes they prepare tableside. It is pricey but so worth it 🤎🤎 Plenty of parking and the staff is really on their A game, Ol' time kinda service checking on you and making sure your cup is always full. The place has lots of Italian charm. Had a really good experience here.
Excellent service here in an elegant setting. Food here is of the highest quality and is delicious.
The BEST Italian food I’ve had by far in my life! We found this little hidden gem and I can only wish we found it earlier. Jose was our server and even though he was slammed, he still managed to give us a great service and have our drinks filled up! We got the shrimp appetizer and lamb chops and parpadele for entrees. Wished we had room for dessert but we did not! We’ll definitely come back and keep trying new things on the menu and asking for Jose as our server since he was great!
My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Antonello Ristorante for the first time tonight, a special occasion as we celebrated her birthday. The experience was truly exceptional. The culinary offerings surpassed our expectations, and the service was of the highest caliber. Our culinary journey commenced with the Prosciutto E Burrata. The fusion of Burrata, Prosciutto, and olives resulted in a rich and flavorful appetizer. For the entrées, my wife chose the Fettuccine Bolognese, while I indulged in the Paparadelle Al Sugo Di Manzo. These dishes not only presented beautifully but also boasted an explosion of taste. From the moment we stepped in, the hostess extended a warm welcome and periodically checked on us throughout the meal. Our server's attentiveness and courtesy greatly contributed to our dining experience. Without a doubt, Antonello Ristorante has secured a place among our preferred dining establishments. Our sincere appreciation for contributing to a memorable
Amazing experience with the best authentic pasta. Firstly, their restaurant is gorgeous. It’s been there for over 50 years or something. It’s really unique in which it looks like an old apartment building, but it’s been converted into a restaurant and it has two floors. The food and service was impeccable.
After all I’ve done… that cheesecake is the only thing that could send me to heaven. This is the first restaurant I’ve spent 200 dollars in one night and walked out not regretting a single cent. Service was impeccable, food was delicious, and the vibes were immaculate. 10/10
This place is a hidden gem in Santa Ana. The Italian dishes are phenomenal and the service was on-point. I was particularly impressed with how constantly they refilled our waters. We had the Caprese salad, Gnochhi, Burrata Raviolli and Malbec and everything was divine.

The wait was typical for a restaurant that makes their dishes from scratch:). Superb food. I really liked their Chilean Sea Bass with two large shrimp (they really looked like prawns to me!). It was over a scrumptious risotto. My husband had the Short Rib Pasta (there was a longer name but it reminded me of a ragu). Anyhow our party of 7 had wonderful foods prior to the main meal too. There was a prosciutto burrata appetizer that w as nice and also the calamari fritti was fried lightly and tasty by husband said. I think that overall we all had a grand New Year's Eve at Antonello's. It was decorated really nice for the holidays.
First time here. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Arguably the best calamari that i can recall having in a long time. Authentic dishes with good service at a reasonable price for the value. I hope to be back.
There's a reason why this place has stood the test of time (and plagues!) - turned 46 last month! My mom and I were treated like queens when I took her for her birthday dinner last night. This is one of those restaurants that reminds me of the times when being a host/server/busser/food runner was an actual career and people were loyal to their establishments and took their jobs very seriously and took pride in the high level of service and hospitality provided. And the food was not bad, too 😁. We shared 3 dishes: calamari, Antonello salad, and the seafood pasta: all perfect!
Took my husband here for his birthday. Everyone greeted us by name and told him happy birthday multiple times. The atmosphere itself was elegant and romantic. The service was top notch. They treat you like family. They do table service with a giant cheese wheel which was not only really neat but super tasty. The food tasted high quality and authentic. This place was a hidden gem. Will be definitely coming back to try more of the menu.

Food was excellent. Went with 8 people and everyone got something different. Every dish was great.

Delicious Italian food in a classic environment, felt like being in a wine cellar, with excellent service and a true fine dining experience. It is pricey but food quality is good. We came here for a birthday celebration. We ordered so many appetizers that we could not finish our main dishes. The carpaccio originale and the truffle fries were really good, but the spicy sauce with the calamari fritti was not to our liking. The pasta here is very good, nice balance of flavors with an al dente pasta which tastes so good. The seafood pasta was delicious and had big chunks of shellfish which was enjoyable. The highlight of the meal was the dessert: chocolate soufflé with GanMarinier sauce & ice cream. It's something they excel at and worth coming here just for this special dessert. The soufflé is so high and fluffy and the crust is slightly crunchy with a delicious eggy chocolate flavor. It's really special.
Food was great! Ordered chicken soup - flavor was quite different. Mozeralla cheese appetizer is now my favorite. Ordered gnocchi ricotta- just yum yum yummy! Service was good as well. I guess since we had ordered one entree and split into two plates they just charge some extra free dollars like 5-6$ . Service is good. Wine was great in taster. Will definitely visit here again to try more. It’s good to reserve your table since they are open for limited time only. For reservations we have to do deposit of $100. Not sure if this is at all time or May be it was only for busy days like valentine they might have brought this rule.
We had a company Christmas party here back in 2019, and the food was excellent. Now, it's barely a 3-star meal. However, the service and the private room we booked are 5 stars.

Came here with 14 people for Valentine's Day and was worried about the space, but they hooked us up with a private room! Everything was organized so well. The Beets and Burrata were delicious—definitely get that if you go! Just a heads-up for others: there is a 3% surcharge for credit card payments, so you might want to bring cash if you’d prefer to avoid the extra fee. Otherwise, a fantastic experience!"
The Chilean sea bass at $58.00 was tasteless, the 2 large Caledonian shrimp were so tough I could not chew enough to swallow, the salad was bland the light dressing was so light it could have been water. The Brussels were delicious and as the menu suggested “ to die for” I consider myself a foodie and this was calories without substance at upwards of $100 rather expensive for Brussels sprouts . Not value for money. The service was great , our waiter was very personable and attentive. My memories of the Antonello restaurant of 2010 were sadly , dashed.
Service: Came with reservations and were seated right away. Our waiter was kind and did let us know up front that they were a bit short staffed so wait time was longer. Which of course was not a problem for us. The only hiccup was with the bill at the end of the night - luckily we took a second look - we were given the next tables tab (which was 3x the amount)! The server was incredible apologetic which we understood, people make mistakes. Food: Cocktails - these were really on point. Highly recommend any of their cocktails Appetizer: Carpaccio Originale, honestly was the highlight of our meal! Very fresh and the flavor was distinct. Entrees: Unfortunately, this is where we were both disappointed. Vitello Piccata (Veal) - The veal was very chewy and dry. Only flavor was all in the butter. Spagetti a la pescatora - (made of tomato sauce, red shrimp, mussels, clams, scallops, lobster tail) I had high hopes for this dish as a seafood and pasta fan and was very disappointed. It was all bland, tasted like tomatoes mixed with water and that was it - the whole flavor. Final thought - while the ambiance and service are nice, I wouldn't come back.
