I went for breakfast and had an unexpected meal as I thought that I would get. The corn beef with those runny sunny side up 4 eggs and a pancake ( it was the most delicious American breakfast I’ve ever had )

Been to pretty much every Ruby's Diner there is... This one... Well.. Hands down is the best. Why? Easy. Clean, well decorated, great food and really good service all wrapped up in a fabulous mall location. As you make your way into this location, you are immediately wowed with the beautiful wood accents and antique style decor from the 40's and 50's style diner experience of the past. Classic Ruby's Diner food, including some scrumptious shakes and chili cheese fries! Worth the visit for sure.

I enjoyed an amazing breakfast. The cinnamon French toast was amazing. The combo came with two eggs and a breakfast meat. I also tried the coffee shake on the recommendation of my server too. Enjoyed it all. My server couldn’t be nicer and more accommodating to my requests. I highly recommend, especially if you want to fuel up for a busy day of shopping!!!

I recently visited Ruby's inside South Coast Plaza Orange County and ordered the fish and chips. Overall, I had a positive experience. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was fun and nostalgic. However, the fish quality was not that perfect. The batter was a bit dry and overcooked. Despite the slightly subpar quality, I would still recommend Ruby's to anyone looking for a nice meal. The service and atmosphere were excellent, and the food was still enjoyable overall. I would just recommend asking for your fish to be cooked a bit less to avoid it being dry.

Nice restaurant at the South Coast Plaza mall. We ordered the super burger combo and the guacamole burger combo with fries and iced teas. Both were great and filling. They did not have much of a wait to get seated and they have a lot of parking at the mall. This restaurant is located across the bridge on the second part of the mall. Good service with good food. Simple classic American diner. Good food typical of what you would expect. Classic American cheeseburger was good but nothing special, fries are free-flow! Caesar salad was tasty but grilled chicken was a tough and dry. Overall enjoyed my time there and would pop in for a quick stop.

CRYSTAL Court, just at top end..North of South Coast Plaza Mall. I make at least an annual trip to that location to enjoy the Christmas decorations within This section of shopping ctr. There are not many choices in this area of ctr for lunch. We were tired and hungry. The burgers were very good, fresh and tasty. Fries done crispy as requested. Wait staff attentive! Cked all the boxes!

I remember eating at Ruby's many years ago. The service and the 1950 Americana ambience were nice, and the food was decent. Well, the ambience and the prompt and courteous service are still good, but the food this time was disappointing. I had a Swiss Mushroom burger. The bun was mediocre, the patty was thin and inspid, the mushrooms were slimy and tasteless, and the cheese was basically like a slice of plastic.

Unfortunately, we had a very poor experience. Our server took about 15 minutes just to come to our table to take our drink order. While most of the food was decent, the fish and chips were overcooked. Service was consistently lacking after our order was taken. She rarely checked on us, never brought drink refills, and we had to get up ourselves to grab silverware and ketchup. When it came time to pay, we couldn’t find her and had to walk up to another server to settle our bill. We also ordered shakes to go, but they were brought out for dine-in instead. When we pointed this out, she was rude, had an obvious attitude the entire visit, and even rolled her eyes when we asked for the shakes to be corrected. On top of the service issues, the booths are extremely tight. We barely fit, and it was very uncomfortable. Overall, this visit was disappointing due to poor service, attitude, and food inconsistencies, which overshadowed what could have been a decent meal.

Me and my party of 4 come to eat here for breakfast we can in just as they stopped serving breakfast which I would have been fine with that if people coming in after us were getting served breakfast items after I had asked the waiter if they still were. Then me and my party order guacamole burger, chili-dog,chicken tenders and a street dog with strawberry lemonade that was complete garbage. The guac burger was still raw and basically mooing at me despite the patties small size the only thing that i enjoyed in this restaurant was the milkshakes and even then i didn’t get the milkshake i asked for
