This place is Awesome! If you love shrimp this won't disappoint at all. There's 4 level's of SPICE! Non-Spice, Mild, Medium (very spicy) and XXX (which is INFERNO). You can ask for 1 pound of shrimp or 2. No halfs no nothing. The shrimps are unpeeled, so have some fun using your fingers! The place is pretty awesome too, it has plenty of seats and different sitting configurations, booths, tables, bars, etc. Lot's of TV's around usually running Sports.
Everything was delicious we got two bags of 1 lb of shrimp with egg corn and sausage everything on point. Rice was cooked to perfection. Service was excellent we did not dine in. We did take out. The wait time didn't take too long. Really spacious inside. Great place for for your Seafood crave.
The food here is so good and the prices are reasonable! Cheaper than Chicago. I didnt expect their frozen crawfish to taste like it’s fresh. I got the shebang sauce at medium and it was perfect. All the staff are young, fun, and friendly in a genuine way. Everyone does their job well and efficiently. The place was packed but not once did I sense chaos. I was in the bathroom and as I was leaving, one of the staff that was in there opened the door for. Small detail but it was still good customer service.
Pretty good experience. The fries here were amazing! Very crispy on the outside and mushy inside! The seafood here was overall fresh. We ordered shrimps, king crab legs and Dungeness crab with mixed seasoning. The seasoning was very flavourful and enjoyable! The corns that we added into the bags were so good!! We had experienced a problem where we ordered 2 fresh, live Dungeness crab and one had an obvious foul, ammonia smell compare to the other one. We asked one of the waitress and she just responded that they only had the live crab at the time so they are all fresh, even though they offered the option of ordering the frozen crab. We later mentioned the problem to another waiter Bhu, he was very helpful on report the problem to kitchen and gave us a discount on one crab. Overall our family had an excellent time!
I was here July 2nd 2022. The customer service is PHENOMENAL. Our waiter was funny, informative and so kind. We are from Boston so they don't do Market price for every item at seafood boil places so it was little pricey for us because we did not expect that but THE FOOD WAS WORTH THE PRICE. We were so hungry and got way more food but I forgot to take pictures. However, this is a must go to place.
OMG!!! This place is amazing. I wish I could've brought this place back to Houston, TX with me. So good! So worth the wait. The wait time was an hour to an hour and a half so we decided to take it to go. That was a wait too. The place was super clean and well maintained, even the restroom. The house was packed with locals, that's always a good sign. We had to drive 20 minutes just to get back to our Airbnb to enjoy our meal. I ordered a pound of crawfish, a pound of snowcrab, and a corn. They were all amazing. Seasoned all the way through, just like home! Unfortunately, even though you order snowcrab by the pound which is about 2 clusters, they don't do that. It's about 1 cluster. I was so hurt, because they were so amazing. The staff were great and very friendly and patient. I will definitely revisit again if I'm ever back in CA.
First time there and will definitely go back soon. Had lots of fun. All employees were so helpful and polite. The atmosphere is energetic and lively. There was a wait but it's cool that you can buy a drink while you wait to be called. Food was really good and reasonably priced. Waiter helped us share orders divide bill and explained the menu really well for us. Definitely a fan of this place now.
The best boiling seafood you can find! Shrimp is easy to peel and their sauce is just right. Reasonable wait times and restrooms are clean. 10/10!
The food was very tasty, and every dish we tried was enjoyable. The service was attentive and friendly, which made the whole experience comfortable and pleasant. I would definitely recommend this place.
This location is always busy but it's always so good and the staff is very accommodating and on top of your food order.
I this bowlingcrab is the best of all of them stuff always on point always checking even if they super busy still on point .. food 100 only bad thing is the wings prize really 20
This place is truly the best crab pot style restaurant I’ve tried in the US. The secret is in their “whole shabang” sauce. I’ve been going here for years, taking family/friends for special occasions, and their seafood and service are consistently excellent. I really enjoy their to-go service as well.
Good quality boiled shrimp here. And the fact that they serve it in a plastic bag and you drop it on the table cover paper they put on the table makes it more interesting.
Great food and always with great service! Family friendly! Kids love the life size shark decor. We’ll continue to come here again and again! Only downside is wait time can get very long, sometimes 2 hours wait. We come right when they open most times to avoid this or look at their yelp ahead of time.
The butter lobster is one of the best, the sausage with the mini lobster are also one of the best tasting ones, even tho you will spend more than 100. It's cheaper compare to other restaurants that serve same food, around 100-200 cheaper. (Will add photos later if possible)
Best crab pot that I have been to in the US! If you are foodie, you have to try this place out. Their sha-bang sauce is unique. Love the combination of fresh garlic along with their spices. It goes well on top a side of their white rice. This location has the best customer service. I’ve always been met with the kindest staff. The sizes of some of their shellfish are seasonal, but I’ve always felt the shrimp, clams, and mussels have a consistently good amount of meat. If you are dying for some kind of crab, my favorite is the snow crab. And if you need a metal crab cracker, don’t be shy to ask for one. Thank you Boiling Crab for the good food and memories!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Boiling Crab restaurant and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and excellent service, particularly from our server Natalia. She was incredibly sweet, patient, and attentive throughout our entire meal, making sure we had everything we needed and ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. The highlight of our meal was definitely the Cajun seafood. The flavors were bold and delicious, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The freshness of the seafood was evident in every bite, and the generous portions left us feeling satisfied and content. The unique Cajun spices added a wonderful kick to the dishes, making each bite a burst of flavor that kept us coming back for more. I would highly recommend The Boiling Crab to anyone looking for a fantastic seafood dining experience. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, the service was top-notch, and the food was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be returning and will be sure to spread the word to all of my friends and family. Thank you, Natalia, and the entire team at The Boiling Crab for a memorable dining experience.
This is an interesting review of The Boiling Crab restaurant. It spans over three years “2023, 2024,20025” with prices submitted for comparison reviews. Over all, it’s a great casual seafood 🦞 restaurant . Long wait on weekends. Don’t miss the king crab 🦀 and sweet corn 🌽 “make sure they are fresh and in season “. Paul was our host; he is really kind and courteous. Today I revisit The Boiling crab and left with happy memories again . I revisited the boiling crab last night. It's as good it it has always been. Today is another visit to The Boiling Crab Restaurant. It has become a ritual for us. It was less crowded on Wednesdays. We didn't wait much. This is another visit. The wait wasn’t long on this weekday night. My enthusiasm to The King Crab is dying down; the king crab legs were dry and hard to extract. It’s a major disappointment to pay such a big price for something that’s not worth it. But we did enjoy the service of Aaron Receiption and Ayvan in the dining room.
ALWAYS AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! They know who I am, when I come rolling in. Everything is always hot and delicious 🤤!!! I got a cup of Gumbo, no sausage and added a cup of extra rice. A half dozen of oysters 🦪. I tried a NEW DISH, unfortunately I can’t think of the name. It was fried oysters with a hot/ mild sauce with rice. It was extremely delicious!!!
During our visit to LA, we dined at The Boiling Crab, where we ordered Snow Crab Legs, King Crab Legs, and Lobster, all priced at market rates. The Garlic Butter and Rajun Cajun sauces added a rich depth of flavor to the naturally sweet and fresh seafood. Additionally, we also sampled the Fried Catfish Basket and Fried Oysters, both of which were equally delightful. Note: The restaurant opens at 3 PM on weekdays, so be sure to plan your visit accordingly!
Ordered takeout from Boiling Crab the other day and it was amazing. We got snow crab legs, shrimp, sausage, corn, and some chicken tenders on the side, all in mild sauce. It was full of flavor and every bite was different. When I went to pick it up, it was quick and easy, and the restaurant looked like the place people would go to stuff themselves with friends. One of the best seafood boil restaurants in my opinion.
Excellent food, service and hospitality. The most likely thing is they continuously check on our needs and the service is fast and top class.
THE BEST! By far my favorite BC location in terms of freshness, taste, and service. Do know that they get pretty busy on weekends! Their chicken wings are amazing considering they're a seafood place! I love their cajun mild seasoning. Their clams are suuuuuper reasonably priced and always fresh and juicy. Goes so well with the cajun mild seasoning and white rice. My other go-tos are their snow crab and if they have it, dungeness crab. Their crab is always fresh and very meaty. Definitely worth it.

Great food great service. Nattalie is the best!!! She’s so sweet very tentative refilled our drinks multiple times made sure we had everything we needed and anticipated our needs all with a smile on her face. The person who dropped off our food was very nice and friendly as well overall great service great experience.
Everyone (wait staff)was a great and attentive. Fantastic service/experience. Food was amazing!! Celebrated my granddaughters 11th birthday 🎂
The waiter (Fernando?) was amazing! So polite and on top of it. Just like waitress that was helping. Very helpful with quantity of food we needed for 4 people.
The food was great! The staff was very welcoming and the service was quick and efficient. The servers were attentive and kind. Will definitely recommend and return.

The first time here. There was a waiting list when we got here at 12:40pm. Wait was not that long. We ordered three pound of shrimp with the whole sha-bang sauce, corn and potatoes. Oh my god. The sauce was good. Remember to dip the seafood into the lemon-salt. It takes the seafood the other level. The fried calamari and fries were great too. Overall it was a great experience.
The stressful thing is the waiting time. But in contrast, they are quick and efficient once your party is seated. They do everything to quickly take your drink, food, and side orders to get your quench of hunger started. The atmosphere is loud but has nice ambient lighting to give you an experience of joy and excitement for whats to come. If I was a new customer, I would ask for Julia if you get the chance to pick your server. Otherwise, no matter who you choose, you'll feel like you are getting treated special.
Great place for seafood lovers! The Boiling Crab never disappoints — the shrimp and crawfish are always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. I love the whole ‘eat with your hands’ experience, it makes it fun and casual. Service is fast and friendly, and the vibe is always lively. Definitely worth the mess!
Pretty good spot if your craving seafood boil. Had a pound of shrimp with potatoes, sausage and mussels, a dozen raw oysters, fries, calamari. Everything was pretty good my only complain was the oysters, they were a bit in the small side but still pretty good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable.
Met some friends for an early dinner on a Sunday. We arrived at 4 and we placed on the wait list which was 2.5 hours☹️. If you're going to eat here get here as early as possible or have one person get there to put their name on the list and then everyone shows up around the time they quoted. Our wait time ended up being 30 min less than quoted. They will only seat if your whole party is there. They do seat a lot of large groups. The place is clean and there's lots of people moving around, it's a pretty well oiled machine. Our server pulled up with a cart that had the menu and bibs, napkins, lemons, seasoning and ketchup. We started with some Cajun wings, which were surprisingly pretty good. No batter just seasoned and fried. I ordered chicken strips and fries basket. It was typical but the lemon pepper fries were good. I'm glad the strips weren't over cooked and my friends ordered shrimp and mussels then they added eggs. They said it was seasoned well and tasted very good. Overall it was a nice establishment just need to remember the wait time. We will be back.
Visited Boiling Crab last Monday right at opening, and there was no wait, which was a nice plus. Unfortunately, they were out of oysters and crab, but they did have lobster available. We gave it a try, and the extra sauce we ordered was definitely the highlight—rich, flavorful, and elevated the meal. While the limited menu options were a bit disappointing, the quality of the lobster and the tasty sauce made up for it. Overall, a satisfying experience despite the lack of variety that day.
Delicious food every time!!! This place never disappoints, their shebang sauce on shrimp is yummy! Don’t forget about the Cajun fries! The only thing I don’t look forward to is the wait... or the fact that you can’t bring outside drinks (ex. boba) the server was nice about it and was able to save my boba in a fridge. But really this place sees a $3 drink as competition? As if I’m not going to spend money on seafood, apps etc... how annoying... FYI don’t forget to ask for gloves if you are like me and don’t like the smell remaining on your fingers. They don’t ask you, so you have to ask for them.

Great location but hard to find parking near. Too crowded and long of a wait. Service was courteous. Food was average. Potatoes felt cold but corn was burning. Shrimp with big heads & not cleaned, crab legs too expensive.
Great food and service! Definitely worth trying if you're in the area. The food had great taste and the servers frequently checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, including refills. Downside, long wait times (not surprising since it's so popular), loud, and messy restooms. 😬

Food was good but women’s clothes attire (that looks like pjs) is a bit too much… the short shorts is inappropriate and I don’t want to see your behind when I’m eating… overall the food was great 👍
I had lunch here on Thursday 7 @ 15:30. I ordered with my friends 1 pound of chromo each and some French fries. What happen next was horrible! Me and my friend both got food poisoning that night , my friend spent 24h in ER and had severe vomiting… I tried to call the restaurant couple of times but they never pick up. Think twice before eating here!
Don’t bother! The shrimp was chewy and the crab mushy. Sauce was thick and weird. The quality of the seafood was poor at best. Waste of money and time! Spoke to the manager who gave us 30% off with an attitude. Never again!

Santa Ana no es solo la sede del condado de Orange; es una ciudad con una profunda identidad. Fundada en 1869 por William H.
