I stumbled upon this locally-owned humble Persian restaurant after moving nearby. The owner was very friendly to me when I entered, and he even gave me some mints/candies while I waited for my order lol. I got my order to-go but there’s plenty of indoor seating too. I didn’t know what to get since I usually don’t eat Persian food, so I stuck with the chicken kabob. I think I got the combo or plate because it came with a salad and grilled veggies. They made it fresh so it does take a while, but I didn’t mind. It was sooo delicious, the chicken was super flavorful and moist. I loved the grilled onions that came with it too. The hummus and naan were just okay, but I will definitely come back for the chicken kabob and try the other entree items too. Overall very sweet and friendly owner and delicious food, I’d recommend stopping by!
Everything was so good, and so bountiful, yet cheap. I greatly enjoyed my time here. The owner Mohammed was so kind and gracious, reminded me of my own Baba-Jun. The food tasted just like my aunt made it, some even better. We will return 😊
Mohammad was such a kind owner and made my dinner experience so great. I got the marinated chicken and cranberry rice, and the meat was very well seasoned. I was checked up on just the right amount, and really enjoyed eating here
Very very clean .. a great place for family gathering .. halal .. doesn’t sell alcohol .. dinning in feels like you are the only customer .. they are very busy with takeout .. must add it to the list
This is one of the greatest Persian restaurants that I’ve ever been to! The food and service is amazing and the owner is super friendly. It was truly a pleasure to meet and have a conversation with him. I wish I was living close by so I could visit more often. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I traveled almost 40 minutes to come try this place and I’m happy I did. The Owener is VERY VERY NICE and welcoming. The food is incredible. A nice family restaurant with delicious food and clean place.
The food was amazing, the place was spotless, and the gentleman that owned the place was so sweet and kind. Please support this place, the kabobs are ridiculously delicious!!
SOOOO GOOD! We decided to try this place on our way from LA back home to San Diego. Let me start by saying that we ate a TON of Persian food in glendale/LA and none of their Koobideh was as good as this place. Even my husband who often says “I can make this better at home,” admitted this as one of the best Koobideh in Southern California.
Delicious Persian restaurant randomly in Santa Ana! The owner is really nice and friendly. The beef and chicken kebabs were tender and flavorful. I had to skip out on rice this time but my coworker said it was fluffy (think clouds). Salad was good as well. The area itself is maybe really sketchy but just don't leave your car unlocked? You shouldn't be doing that anyways.
Hands down the best Persian restaurant I’ve ever been to! Quality food, friendly service, and a peaceful place make a great recommendation for my fellow Persian friends and non-Persian ones looking for a great kabob place!
We had Baghali polo Mahicheh and Kabab koobideh. Both were super delicious. The host is warm and friendly. Definitely recommended.
I picked up the boneless chicken and beef/chicken kabob. Both came with rice, veggies, salad, and bread. Doesnt get any more tasty or authentic than here. Portions are pretty sizable too. Also order the yogurt cucumber salad, it goes great with everything. The owner is always there, he treats everyone as family. Only con is the parking but this really is a hidden gem.

Fabulous, delicious, fresh and Halal meals. The owner is very friendly. I will definitely come back.

Great food, cozy, great owner who not only provides a great food, but also spread love with his Persian poetry!
I was visiting LA to meet with friends and I stopped by this place to have lunch before. The food was absolutely amazing. I got the chicken kebab and the ground beef kebab and both were very tasty. The portion was a very good size and I had some leftovers. And the price was fair. Mohammad was very kind and funny and he had very great customer service. Altogether I very much enjoyed this place and I will definitely be back. I wish we had more restaurants like this in Las Vegas.
Great customer service and authentic food for great price .They serve fresh and hot so you might want to order ahead

This place had been on my radar for quite some time, and after a bit of contemplation, we finally decided to stop by for dinner. The restaurant has a very quiet, old-school vibe. The owner himself was running the place, and at the time there was only one other diner eating quietly, which made it feel very personal and homely. We started with hummus, which came with thin, pre-packed bread. I ordered a chicken dish that was served with grilled jalapeños (very spicy!), a grilled tomato, and a fresh salad. The food was flavorful and tasty, and everything felt freshly prepared. Service was quick, and the owner was genuinely kind—he even made a little extra so my wife could share. To top it off, he gave us two candies at the end, which was a sweet gesture. Overall, it’s a simple, no-frills place with good food and heartfelt hospitality. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a calm, authentic dining experience.
Good food, relatively, kubideh skewers did not disappoint. Gormeh Sabzi Tadigh was poorly constructed though as it softened the tahdig into practically mush by the hours end. Atmosphere is okay, not a fancy restaurant seating by any means but it doesn’t matter as the two gentlemen working there were extremely nice and treated me like family so that’s a win in my book!
So friendly and great customer service . We had Beef koobideh , Chicken kabab and Soltani . Everything was perfect every dish has a season salad as the side , all the meals were worm and fresh cooked the only things that’s why i gave 4 ⭐️ is the chicken didn’t have any flavor it didn’t taste bad at all just I didn’t like it.

I do not recommend eating here. I hope the health department inspects his food handling and food storage practices. I'm really torn and considered not leaving a review at all. The owner is an elderly man who is very nice and kind but there was a serious problem with the kabob koobideh (ground beef kabob) and he did not believe us and did nothing to correct it. And charged us full price. Initially, we really enjoyed the experience and his friendly nature. We were with three people: myself, my girlfriend and my son. I got the Jujeh kabob (Cornish hen) and it was delicious. My girlfriend got the gheimeh (split pea stew) and the favors were good but it didn't taste like it was freshly made.... maybe a few days ago. The real problem was with the simplest dish: kabob koobideh. After my son found two hairs in the rice he refused to eat it. I gave him my jujeh kabob instead. When we tried eating his koobideh kabob, it tasted really bad. The meat smelled rotten, and the texture was not good either. I've eaten kabob my whole life. I know kabob. This was awful. None of us could eat it. I tried some of the 2nd skewer (in case only one of them had been poorly cooked) but it also smelled bad. I went up to the owner (privately) and explained it to him and he asked me to wait. He went to the kitchen and returned with a 10 or 20 pound package of frozen meat to show me it was halal and the best quality. He said everyone loves his kabob. He did not want to believe that his food was bad. We then observed he doesn't use gloves when handling food. We also noticed he carefully collected the un-eaten bread from another table after the customers had left and we're not sure why. In the end he pulled up my bill and he charged for all items including the koobideh that was not eaten (and that had hair in the rice that came with it). He asked me if everything was correct on the bill. I was shocked he didn't offer to remove the charge and I agreed and paid him. I feel like a fool for not telling him to take the charge off. I think someone who truly cared about his customers would have done that.

When a place is totally empty - you should think twice! Beside Amo Mohammad there I would take a pass. I don’t have any good to say about the food so I will refrain from saying anything. All the kudos for amo mohammad who is a kind sweet old man!

I was so excited about coming over here as per the comments but this was absolutely disgusting. The tadig was a joke and the food was the worst persian food I ever had. I definitely do not recommend this place.
