Refreshing and healthy. Portions are pretty big so prices are not too bad for what you get. Recommended👍🏽 A Public Parking is in front of it (first 75min free, after that its 3$ per hour).

Very cute spot! Nice sized açaí bowl for $10, they have coffee, matcha, wellness shots, yerba mates, etc. Great experience and will be returning. Highly recommend if you're in the area!!!

This cafe has a great selection of smoothies. I tried two and both were delicious. There is a little patio area on the side if you want to enjoy your smoothie there. The staff is friendly. Thank you for delicious breakfast!

Always great acai bowls! Just wish they were a little quicker.. even when it's not busy (no line, not working on any other orders) still takes almost 10 minutes. Other than the wait, this place is delicious, filling, and always made of fresh ingredients.

The best açaí bowl place that I have ever been to in my entire life. It has gotten me to look for açaí bowls in other cities but none can match up to Backyard Bowls.

Bowls were huge and delicious! The large is enormous for only a couple dollars more. The bowls are super tasty but I would say they should be served in a wider bowl so that more toppings can be enjoyed with the actually açaí underneath. It was quite busy on a Saturday morning so be prepared for a little wait. I think it’s worth it. Got the warrior bowl and Santa Barbara

And it was reasonably priced as well. $12 for avocado toast and berry bowl each. Very healthy breakfast options. I definitely recommend going here. I'd order from here again!

More robust and varied menu than the average smoothie or açaí bowl place, vegan options, modifications allowed, fresh ingredients, and generous portion sizes. I will be visiting again soon, and highly recommend this spot!

Great little spot. Acai power bowl was delicious. They also had smoothies and avocado toast that looked great. Parking is free for the first hour in the parking lot in front of the shop. I will definitely be coming back here on my next visit it to Santa Barbara.

On my most recent visit, I was helped by someone I believe was named Clarissa, and she went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. Excellent service and amazing food. I’ll keep coming back whenever I’m in town!

Got the warrior bowl and sweet lordy do they got some big bowls. Learned about spirulina which apparently the Aztecs used to use and it sounds similar to sea moss in it's effects They packed it with strawberries, almond butter, honey, etc I could barely finish the darn thing

Good smoothie bowl and toast with nice flavors. The employees were very nice! One slice of mushroom toast was $12 which seemed silly but it tasted very good. Some of our forks had hairs or dried sprouts which was gross. Perfectly good food, but the price and hairy/ sprouty fork result in an average to below average experience. I did consider giving 3 out of 5 stars, but they don’t deserve that few stars, and I am hoping my hairy fork was an isolated occurrence.

Honestly really good. But way too expensive. Got the pineapple ginger smoothie (small) and totally loved it! I just didn't love the price tag. The bowls are amazing too (had them in Beverly). Worth it if you are ready for $10 worth of acai bowl. I would go again if I had some extra change.

Ordered a dragon bowl to go... But half way through it at home, I noticed that there is no kiwi and other fruit that comes with it. Mine just had bananas, strawberries and blueberries... There was no way of telling it was wrong when I picked it up. Plus we were kind of in a rush to really dig through it at the store to make sure it's right... A bit disappointed, but the bowl was still yummy...

Food good but slow. Main issue is I saw the man working take off his glove to sign for a package and then put it on again inside out! So the inside that was touching his hand is now on the outside and touching my food!

Friendly staff, restroom is way far away. $11 small acai bowl was good. Minus two stars for the machine prompting for a tip before I ever saw the food, so annoying. I wish businesses would stop this ridiculous practice.

Arguably the best açaí bowls in town, with fresh, local ingredients, delicious house-made granola, and endless choices on flavor variations. However, the service here is HORRIBLE. Always takes 30+ minutes to get an order of 1 smoothie, which is ridiculous considering there’s consistently at least 4 people in the kitchen. Staff is unorganized, slow, and frankly, incompetent. These bowls should be taking a max of 2 minutes to complete, and the kitchen is always 30 minutes behind on orders. The wait was so bad today that they literally stopped taking orders. Unreal. Food quality and taste is easily worth 5 stars. Service gets 1 star. Worth it if you’re feeling extra patient for the day, I suppose.

Slightly disappointed, came in and ordered a smoothie, at 12:26pm. There was a group of four ahead of me, each ordered a bowl. I noticed there were about 5 employees that I saw working and sadly it took 20 minutes to get my smoothie. I realize fresh food takes time, but 20 minutes for $12 smoothie seems like a long wait time. Always been a fan of BYB, actually worked there myself many years ago, wish wait times were not so long. Thanks anyways, they always taste delicious.

Bowls are good but this place is a disaster. Bunch of amateurs running this place. We ordered 40 minutes ago. Got here and for 20 minutes. We've been waiting and our bowl has been given away to someone else twice. We're not the only person this has happened to. And they're not even telling us what's going on. We have to keep asking then. Customer service is ridiculously poor here

Staff were unhelpful, not friendly. They lost their bathroom key and we’re very unhelpful with getting us to a bathroom to change our toddler. No vibe. The place was dirty and unorganized. The bowls I’ve had before at other locations and they’re decent. But my experience at this location has definitely colored my view of them.

Came in for what I thought would be a quick bite. I don't know who was working today but almost half an hour wait time for avocado toast is beyond ridiculous for something with 3 ingredients. The place was not that busy either.
