An amazing experience of Chinese BBQ skewers that is on par with Japanese Yakitori in a different approach! Skewers wede well marinated and flavorful. We also ordered some dishes like the popular grilled fish that is a perfect pairing with rice & beer. Recommended beer pairing would be Xue Hua from city of Harbin and Wusu since they are both refreshing. Shout out to the excellent service from Jaden, Tiffany, and Jeremy! Honestly, I never expected such a friendly service from Chinese restaurants from my experience but they nailed it! Servers constantly checked on us and we didn't have to ask for water & napkins. This place could get extremely busy so try arriving early. Great thing is that they open late! Atmosphere is nice & cozy with a modern vibe. Overall experience is awesome and glad there is a great place that reminds me of those hidden gems in Asia. Will I go back again? Absolutely yes!!!

Friendship BBQ is a fantastic spot for a night out with friends. They offer an extensive menu that includes a wide variety of dishes, such as BBQ skewers, buckets, hot soup, noodles, and fried rice. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable, making this the perfect choice for a casual dinner. The service is ok Seafood Rice Noodle Pot 三鲜米线: This is a good combination with the hot skewers, despite not having any real seafood. The soup base is delicious and flavorful. Beef Skewer(3) 牛肉串: The Beef Skewer is my favorite, with tender and juicy meat that is full of flavor. It comes with 3. Lean Beef Skewer(10) 纯瘦牛小串: The Lean Beef Skewer is small but very tasty and easy to eat. It come with 10. Chicken Gizzards (3) 烤鸡胗: the Chicken Gizzards are not very tender, so I didn't finish them and would not recommend them. Grilled Bun Slices 烤馒头片: The Grilled Bun Slices are another one of my favorites, and I always order them when I visit a BBQ place. They have a great taste and texture. Fried Chicken Skeleton Bucket 铁板鸡架桶: this is good for the first couple bits ! Chicken Gristle(3) 烤鸡脆骨: the Chicken Gristle is absolutely delicious and worth trying Drink: Chi Forest White Peach Sparkling Water 元气森林白桃味: It is a popular Chinese sparkling beverage that pairs well with BBQ. Mongolia Beef 蒙古牛: Mongolia Beef is a great option for beef lovers. It has a generous portion size, making it the perfect substitute for the Beef Skewer.

We like to come here for spicier sichuan style BBQ skewer hot pot. Funny enough their rice noodle soup side dish was really good too. They have a more interesting menu of ingredients, inside is clean and chic, and the staff are fast/nice. If you’re indecisive like me, I would recommend the ~ $40 hot pot skewer combo which includes a bit of everything. And then throw in other side bits you like, like duck blood. And yes it’s very good, don’t be prejudiced, try it out.

Super amazing Korean kitchen and food! This is literally my favorite place in San Jose Area. This is probably the best place in South Bay for Korean BBQ. Everything is fresh, the service is fast, friendly! Food 5/5 services 5/5 atmosphere 5/5. Come here regularly but expect to spend 50-100$ it happens easily with even two people but well worth it.

Really loved all the skewer options they have available. Personally my favorites are the chicken skin, lamb rose willow branch, pork belly wrapped enoki and fried lean beef skewers. Staff was very nice and quick to bring out our orders and the interior is modern and clean.

Traditional Chinese barbecue snd the food is pretty good. Recommending the lamb backbone (spicy), mixed vegetables and the barbecue eggplant. This place is also very good for group gathering. A little pricey tho.

We came here for a birthday dinner and we loved the skewers. We also ordered a beer IV bag which was funny. The rice and noodle dishes were good as well. I liked the cucumber appetizer

This is a nice street food you need to try. The menu has plenty of selections. I tried lamb skews, beef skews, bean skews, fried chicken bones, and the hot pot. I like everything, except the fried chicken bones. The food is mild. The owner is really friendly. I will come back to try others.

The fat didn’t render out properly, so there was this faint gamey chicken taste that came through. Wasn’t very pleasant. Seasoning was just basic salt and pepper, no sweetness at all (I was kinda expecting that light powdered sugar touch like some other places, but nope, nothing). Overall just salty, nothing special, no real “wow” factor. Portion was decent, price is cheap, and pickup was super fast — gotta give props for that. But for chicken skin lovers, this really missed the mark on the grilling. Giving 3 stars because service and speed were good, but the grilling technique definitely needs work. I visited Friendship bbq with a friend for dinner. The place wasn't busy when we got there, so we were seated right away, but within an hour or so, it got quite busy. For the 2 of us, we ordered the following items : 1. Raw beef skewers 2. Beef aorta 3. Grilled beef marrow 4. Grilled scallop 5. Dried bean curl roll 6. Xinjiang lamb on rose willow branch 7. Mongolian beef 8. Squid tentacles My personal favorites were Mongolian beef, Xinjiang lamb, and raw beef skewers. Lamb and Mongolian beef were cooked really well. Meat was tender and juicy and really flavorful. The raw beef skewers were seasoned really well. Scallops were not as great and definitely lacking flavors. They were very fishy and gritty. It felt like they weren't cleaned properly. Squid tentacles and beef aorta were okay. They were quite chewy. The service was fast. Our servers were very attentive.

Very bad quality, extremely pricey for what you get, and pickup order doesn't match the promo picture at all. No spam or fishcake for a $17 dollar noodle, only protein is about 1 or 2 fish ball. Hilarious. Taste also very blend.

However, as you can see in the pictures, they just don’t see it!! My poor kids have only got to eat the lamb skewers because that’s the only two that were no spicy! Plus, for an order of 10 beef skewers, they only have me 9. What a shame for treating takeout orders like that.
