Incredible salads! I was visiting the area for a couple of days and ate here for lunch on the first day. It was so good, I came back the second day. I had the ahi tuna salad and the chimichurri steak salad. Both times I ordered the sweet potato fries, which came with amazing aïoli dips. Both salads were surprising and complex with a lot of fun flavors. Good enough to make me write a review.

Enjoyed the casual atmosphere of The Stand - you place your order and they bring it to your table. Both the chicken club sandwich and the short rib grilled cheese sandwich were excellent. Taste was delicious. Their regular fries were hot, fresh and crispy - well done. Can't wait to try other items on their menu.

I was really impressed by the stand and I wasn’t expecting to be! First there gluten-free bread is really stellar great taste and they grill it very nicely. I tried the French dip burger, and the soup dip was fantastic with great salted flavor was very really an good grilled onions. My boyfriend also enjoyed His burger on sourdough and pickles.

The burgers are very good. We had the ultimate egg burger $12.45, stand burger $9.35, short rib grilled cheese $13.50. My friends loved their burgers. Mine was quite good. It would have been better if my ultimate egg burger had regular burger ingredients like lettuce, tomatoes etc. I didn't know I had to order those. The fries were OK. We had to ask the cashier for ketchup and utensils as they are on the drinks counter. There were so much food, I almost didn't finish my chili cheese fries $5.50. I had to go back twice to get my beer $7 as the bartender didn't get my drink order. Otherwise, this was a good meal. Good job chef at The Stand.

It's a standard order at the counter and they bring it to your table. Lots of amazing looking options. I settled on the egg burger. They asked how I wanted the meat cooked (well) and the egg, she offered runny or hard. I of course said runny because why bother ignoring you don't have the yoke running all over, lol. I am always reluctant though because I don't like the whites of the egg to be runny. It was cooked perfectly. Burger was great as well. We also got short rib fries for the group and onion rings. Short rib fries were great. Especially the short rib. Great flavor. The onion rings were good, not great. Why 4 stars when 2/3 was great you ask? Wow was it loud in there. People at the bar but also the workers were so loud at times it was hard to hear ourselves talk and we are not low talkers by any means. Price was typical for these days. For my burger and fries and a soda it came to $40 with tax. I might visit again but sit all the away from the bar or outside.

We heard about this place online saying how this place is very popular in LA so we came on a Friday night right after work. Figured this would be the best time as they wouldn’t be so busy. Atmosphere was cool, ordering system was easy, bar was great. We ordered: Onion rings -perfectly cooked Mac n cheese -not good at all (store bought is way better Jalapeño burger -was very good and spicy. Cooked medium -little to pink for my taste but it was good Only thing is you can see from my picture looks like the rushed the cook as the cheese isn’t even melted :( Chicken teriyaki bowl -tasty rice was bland and stuck together the sauce was amazing and chicken cooked really good Sauces -these were great so many options! Almost competes with Chick-fil-A ! Milk shake- cookies and cream (might have been the best shake I’ve ever had It might come back for another try

Excellent service and a bright, bustling vibe, but the food didn’t quite keep up. Burgers were just okay, chili fries lacked crispness, the Southwest chicken sandwich was bland, and the French onion soup burger needed a little more salt. Hoping they punch up the flavors.

Not impressed and won’t be coming back, and I am always honest with my reviews. We came here because of the reviews and I am sad to say I did. The burgers were OK at best. The “large” fries really weren’t that large. And the drinks were so small; I should’ve gone to 7Eleven and got a big gulp. Each burger cost roughly $9.75, the large fries were $6.75 And the drinks were each $3.50 apiece. We ended up spending $73.65 after sales tax. $81.01 with a tip. The only good part about this experience was the music and the fact that it was quiet enough that I could easily speak with my family. The only reason I gave two stars was because I definitely had worse burgers in my day. I hope this review helps them to get better. Last note; the picture of the burger that I am posting was supposed to be medium. In my opinion, that definitely wasn’t.

I recently visited The Stand on a weekday afternoon around 3:30PM and was quite disappointed with my experience. I ordered the Short Rib Grilled Cheese for $13.50,Chimichurri steak wrap for $15.50,and Fire Fries for $3.99.All the food was excessively salty,making it hard to enjoy.The fries were tough and difficult to chew. Additionally,after placing my order,I had to wait about 20 minutes for the food to arrive at my table.The only positive aspect was the server's smiling face,which is why I'm giving two stars. Overall,this is not a good place to grab a quick bite.I won't be coming back.

The slowest restaurant experience and at 6:33pm I had to bribe a cashier to actually move along. The manager should the video to see how slow these workers move. As someone who’s been in the service industry I was even more disappointed. You will have people who make mistakes and be slow in ordering the most familiar foods in America. Their milkshake is small in quantity and more disappointing in quality.

I ordered takeout thinking that spending more than $15 per sandwich you'll get a decent amount of food. Especially the short rib grilled cheese. I was heavily disappointed cause they barely gave me any meat. I actually couldn't believe that I was eating more bread instead of filling it up with meat, I asked for extra sauce on the side and they didn't give me that too. I ordered the French onion soup burger as well and it wasn't too bad, actually decent, as to why I'm giving it a 2/10. Seems like a cool spot for drinks, but below average food with high prices isn't very welcoming. The inside looks very nice, is all they have going for them. Better off going to in n out instead, at least the food is good and affordable

We are vegetarians and this time did not have a good experience. We ordered 3 different burgers and all replacing beef with veggie option. The veggie burger is very similar to veggie black bean burger available at Costco, if not the same. Second they made prepared one burger with sliced cheese and wax paper of that cheese slice as well. When we showed this to restaurant we had to state what burger it was. We got a replacement veggie burger with bacon on it. Other burger we got had a fried egg included, but by the time it was at table the egg was broken and yolk was seeping through the wrapper. This total experience was a fiasco and the staff seems clueless.
