Always fresh and great service! We've been here a few times since moving and we'll keep coming back. The only issue is the cleanliness around the salsa bar. My onions tasted like chemicals last time and the area wasn't the cleanest. I understand, as it was busy, but maybe more care could be taken as a lot of people use it.

I ordered a double chicken bowl and my food came out super quick the lady that gave my food wasn't the one who was normally there, the one who took my order last time her name was Lupe and she was so kind and had a lovable attitude. Although the other cashier was okay she was definitely not as nice and lovable as Lupe. Other than that great food and amazing service.

No so great today. Arrived after 7p and when it was turn to order we were told we would have to wait because the chicken wasn't ready. When we were able to order there were no flour tortillas and the mac n cheese was cold.

Make sure you order ahead.. they seemed to be short on staff. But the Chicken bowl was delicious. Even though I had to wait my whole lunch time.

This copper hill location is very disorganized. I've had better quality and experience at other El pollo locations. Hopefully they improve it soon.

Service was slow and chaotic. I am assuming because they are so new and the employees need more experience to get it right. Meat shortage doesn’t help with availability of meal choices, but that is to be expected. We got our food, it was hot, it tasted great… what more can you ask for!

The food quality is high and the staff tries hard, but the day I tried curbside delivery, they were clearly understaffed. The long/boring story is: I parked curbside and they had the order out to me in less than 2m, but forgot one of my items. As the restaurant was closed inside (maybe due to light staff), I had to knock and wait for them to come open the door. I informed them of the forgotten item, they apologized and went back to get the item. Meanwhile, they passed an order to the lady that was also waiting outside, and some of her food spilled out. They brought me back my food, but then I noticed another item was missing, so they had to go back inside to fix that. Again, their staff was super helpful but I could see they were very understaffed relative to the people waiting outside and the long line of cars waiting through drive-thru. If you're going to visit this restaurant, I would recommend sticking with drive-thru instead of the curbside service.

Just an ok location. They get our order wrong often. Our last time - we got completely different items than I ordered including a quesadilla with no cheese, which was interesting.

I love el pollo loco, I used to work for them. I know they’re super hard workers. But, it was very disappointing to receive an incorrect order! The order taking was fast and I didn’t wait long which was great. Overall though I got a completely different order than what I asked for and I’m not even sure if I payed for the correct one either. They should read back the receipt at the pay window! 3 stars because it could just be a rare mistake.

Love the food here... The location is new, and the staff is still learning but we've had things missing or problems with the last few visits. I hope I can revise this to a higher score soon... Literally sitting in their drive thru writing this review since I've been waiting for no joke...25 min. I mean...25 min, just waiting here!?! Why are they sooooo slow?! And then, they never have chicken wings or have a limited supply. They ran out of flour tortillas. Ran out of sour cream. What kind of business (a new one at that) runs out of food?!

Chicken legs appeared as though someone had already taken a bite. Mgr, Luis, thought it was acceptable. Ha! He lost a customer. On the lesser side, they weren't open at 10 as advertised and 45 minutes after opening, they had no chicken wings available. Good bye!

One of the most inconvenient places I have ever ordered food from.I have waited in excess of, no joke 30 minutes for an order placed online an hour prior. Tonight, I arrived at 9:30pm ( the location is supposed to be open until 10:00pm) , And I was told it had closed early with no explanation. The food is great, but the disorganized flow of the kitchen, the wait times, and unreliability even the hours it is open, they have to step it up. The management has to be more involved on the expo process.

I have been here here five times and all five times, they are out of white meat. I always have to change my order last minute. Today I paid for a three piece combo, but only received two. It’s frustrating because I realized it when I got home and had already unloaded my baby and toddler. Service was fast and friendly, but what is the point of you are missing food items?!

I wish this location would do better. We've been here 5 times now and the quality is just not there. I usually pay to get extra avocado salsa from other locations. Unfortunately, I won't eat this green salsa even if you pay me. It tastes like chemicals. The chicken is so dry and over cooked. Please please do better.

this was the best pollo loco when it first opened. it has steadily gone downhill.

No wonder they have a low rating, you ask for a condiments, they give you a sassy attitude. Just say you're out. Not that they don't have it because they don't have some other item like you're dumb. Almost everything is open now inside. Why is this one not open inside? Very inconvenient

Horrible experience! They didn't start cooking chicken until they completely ran out. So their answer was to just lock the doors. So my husband and I were the only people sitting and eating. People were trying to get in. Finally someone went outside and told all the people that they ran out and were closed. It was the craziest dining experience we've ever had. We won't be back!

Tonight had to be the worst experince i had with them! i literally waited in drive thru for someone to take my order , it was 15min no one thru the intercom said i'll be right with you, so i pulled up and the kid know i waited that long so that he needed to take my order now. Took my card but he couldnt even hand my card back to me the right way, This kid Ethan C was teribble and had the worst customer service manners.

Poor customer service. I have tried this location not once but multiple times to give the benefit of the doubt, however, the customer service has been the same all around. Workers are rude and orders are always incorrect. When making any requests or bringing to attention a simple mistake, we practically get our food thrown at us. Furthermore, upon receiving our food during our last visit today, there was a layer of slime mixed in within our burritos. Needless to say, we did not trust the food given our experience. The drive to Canyon country is far more worth it.

When I received my order it was completely wrong. They gave me less chicken and it smelt like it was yesterday's chicken so I had to throw my whole meal away. When I try to call the location no one answered. When I try to contact corporate office no one returned my emails. I will not return to this location as I would be afraid to have the chicken that they serve to me.

Honestly I went the first day and customer service was excellent, now… it’s horrible. The employees are rude and lazy. They are always out of something and don’t tell you until you get to the window after waiting 20 min in line. The food taste is completely lacking and cold when I receive it. They never give you napkins or utensils unless having to ask. Then they’re rude about having to grab anything extra such as utensils or extra salsa. You can literally tell they all hate their job. Yelp reviews and google reviews are the truth. I will no longer go to this location and will drive the extra 15 min to the other location.

If I could give zero stars I would. If you want to eat here make sure you have at least an hour to wait in the drive through. Only the drive through is open and it’s unbelievably slow.

Took me 20 minutes in drive thru with only three cars ahead of me. I told him I had a coupon for a 20 when I was ordering it, when I paid I forgot to give them the coupon they charged me full price of 35 bucks and on my way home I called to ask if I can go back to redeem the coupon but they never ever answer the phone :(

EVERYTHING is TERRIBLE for this restaurant. I used to order take out and everytime they missed one pieces of chicken. If you want to go this restaurant, you need to open the box and check the pieces. There is always only one person running around doing drive thru and making the food, seems like there is barely anyone to help him. I don’t understand why this location doesn’t have any employees, seems the hiring manager doesn’t care abt their employees & overworks the few that they have. Always the same issue i order from the app at 1130am order was supposed to be ready at 1145am i get there at 12pm because i know food is never ready on time i asked for my food they didnt even know what i was talking about received my food till 1220pm i only have a 45 min lunch and to finish it off they gave me my order wrong i order a classic chicken burrito and they gave me a tinga burrito they need more employees and not let the new person run the front end. I went to this location and ordered a Chicken Burrito Combo Meal and they gave me A Burrito minus the chicken. I didn't order a Bean an Rice Burrito, and this wasn't the first time I've gotten bad service from this location. It's very upsetting once you get home and find out that they screwed again, and they weren't even busy. It's No Excuse for Bad service

This is the WORST location. They screw up every single time. I was charged $16 for $6 meal, but the guy NEVER told me. When I went back to get a credit they gave me $6 back, so I paid $10 for a $6 meal. This place SUCKS.
