Wonderful food though the music is a little bit too loud

My experience here at geezer's was incredible to start off. I was so impressed with the ambience in the place. Then I had an experience with the manager Personally because it was my sister's birthday. I asked him for a birthday candle. And he was very accommodating, which impressed me secondly. Then my experience at the table took me to a whole different level of joy. The food was beyond my expectations. The service was so accommodating as well. I felt like I was at home being treated by family. I highly recommend this restaurant and lastly that all people that work here to get a huge raise!

First time there, margaritas were awesome

I had the chicken stew. Oh my was it good!! It is a southwest style stew that with taste delicious, and it is comforting.

Really nice place! Atmosphere is good, gets a little loud after 7pm. Went here for lunch and next day for dinner. Did the pizza and gluten free crust was really good. Wasabi wings a staple, but ice cold beer at 27.5 degrees was really special!

I went there for lunch w) my sister's. We all ordered 3 different salad 🥗 ( be warned, there big ! 😋) so fresh & yummy 😋, the place is so nice & relaxing ( it feels like you're in a lg. greenhouse) and very light . Prices are very reasonable for lunch, dinner & yes the have a great happy hour too . There is plenty of parking too .

First time at this restaurant and their bow tie chicken pasta was over the moon. I can’t speak highly enough about the serving team and food quality. I will definitely be coming back for lunch again.

Nothing but quality food and service in an amazingly well kept restaurant. I having been coming here since they opened in the early nineties. It still looks as clean and fresh as it did 30 years ago. Excellent management makes the difference and it shows in everything about Geezers

Enjoyed lunch after a movie. We shared the Frisco Burger and pepperoni pizza in the bar. We watched the Dodgers, ate and had a good time. Food was delicious.

Definitely great good. Happy hour is from 4-7 pm. Food is bomb. Pizza, mozzarella cheese sticks, and spicy chicken tenders were 50% off during the happy hour. I didn't get the bar tenders name but he was an older gentleman with glasses and very hard working and nice. Highly recommend to come catch a good game and drink/eat.

Love this place! It’s large and clean. in addition, it’s one of the few places that is still affordable to eat. Their prices are very reasonable (hope they continue to stay that way). I absolutely love 💗 their homemade pies. They are delicious! Because of their affordability, I have recommended this place to many of my friends, who have visited and agreed on the good food and great prices.

They don't use cheap ingredients. Food is fresh and always good. They have large televisions to watch sports as you eat and two small/medium banquet rooms. The banquet rooms can both be occupied and you still get great service.

First time here plenty of seating and the menu has something for everyone. The meatloaf sandwich was delicious. It came with a side so I ordered the minestrone soup.

All American food. Very tasty and large portions. I appreciated the kindness and attentiveness of our server. She was accommodating making our visit very pleasant. I would definitely come back. It's across from Herritage Park in Santa Fe Springs. It was a busy afternoon so we did have to wait about 30 minutes, however it was worth the wait.

Very large portions. A salad could be shared with many, as well as the larger soups. Was busy, waited about 30 minutes for a seat. Service was good and orders came quickly.

Great place to dine in. The food is always delicious and the Patron margarita with Tajin rim is my favorite. Spacious, perfectly air conditioned and clean. Coldest beer on tap EVER! Service is great, when they're not too busy.

The waitress Angela was not very attentive and we were a party of 20 people. We went there after my husband's funeral Mass.

Have been going to Geezers for years and it has become a frequently visited restaurant for my roomie and I. This is one of those restaurants whose food never fails, regardless of what I get. I enjoy their Calzones, but when I'm in the mood for something lighter I go for a salad, which isn't heavy but leaves you satisfied. Their pastas are mouthwatering as well. Shoutout to Cayden and Alejandro who always do a good job of waiting on us and making sure our experience is good. Only recommendation I would give the restaurant is to make sure that the men's restroom is cleaned well...sometimes this falls short. Other than this, love Geezers and will continue coming back!

Love dinning at Geezers. Stuff chicken is my favorite paired with a Margarita. Their bread and butter is so good. Pizza, cob salad, potato soup, wings, lemon chicken all delicious. Their beer is very cold and great to watch games there.

I had a pleasant lunch with a couple of co-workers. We don't eat out at lunch often, so it was a nice treat. A couple of us had cheeseburgers and one of my friends had a salad. The burgers came with a choice of cheeses and a choice for sides; we chose French fries and onion rings. Everything tasted freshly made. My cheeseburger was moist and flavorful. Our server was friendly and attentive. The ambiance was nice. It was a nice meal. I would have lunch here again. Thank you.

Lovely Restaurant with Natural lighting all around makes you feel really comfortable. They have delicious sandwiches and many options on craft beer and drinks!! The Blackened Salmon was awesome 👌. Was fresh and perfectly seasoned. The potatoes were also perfectly seasoned, and steamed veggies with this was also awesome. This was my first visit here, and I would 10 toes down recommend this restaurant 😋. Everything was so fresh, and you definitely won't be disappointed. Although I got my order to go staff that I did encounter were all very professional. This was a lunch very well spent. The atmosphere was also to par and definitely appropriate for a bite at the bar or a business meeting. This place is chill! Well when I went lol but our server was very helpful and super nice! Thank you Reagan! So we started of with clam chowder it was super good! It comes out piping hot! I add some Tapatio made it even better. My mom got the blackened salmon and I got the hanging steak. Honestly I had a bite of my mom’s salmon that was really good! The steak was good but the salmon was better! Also the bread is really good as well and also comes hot piping hot. I really liked it. Ok the pie was super good! The crust was insanely crispy. I just wanted the crust. But this place is really good and again the server was really awesome!

I love this place. Best local Sunday brunch and I don't like buffets but their's is delicious. The omelette station is yum.

ADA/WHEELCHAIR COMPLIANT+ FRIENDLY 😊 When you have to wait 8 minutes to get pepper or sides of ranch or a refill on water, that's really a bummer. This may have just been a one-off, maybe they were short-staffed. It was our first time there so I'm not sure if this is the norm. Customer service was great though other than having to wait too long for requested items. Server was friendly and the wonderful food was prepared relatively quickly. Also, not sure if all their servers do this but our server took our order without writing it down. Don't let this fool you however, he got everything correct! Note: If you are going there for the bottomless clam chowder on Friday, husband had it and said it tasted like it came from a can, definitely not homemade. 😒 Other items (Sorry, we were too hungry to take pictures)🤣: STEAK SANDWICH: Medium-well came medium but it was still good. Tender, juicy and flavorful. FETTUCCINE ALFREDO: Interesting sauce. Not what we're used to. Wasn't white, more like a peach color. Tasted like it was heavy on white pepper and possibly had lots of paprika in it (hence the peach color?) It was okay, I would not order it again, however. STUFFED CHICKEN BREAST: This was more like a beef Wellington but with chicken. It was a tender and juicy chicken breast stuffed with mozzarella and spinach inside a Wellington type breading. On top was a delicious cheese and cream-based sauce. With decent garlic mashed potatoes. And AMAZING onion rings. MOZZARELLA STICKS: Basic but good. SOURDOUGH GARLIC CHEESE BREAD: TO DIE FOR! If you like sourdough, don't pass this up! This bread has an extra sourdough base so that sourdough flavor really kicks in! The cheese is not melty and gooey it is more like it has been broiled on so it's more on the crunchy side on top. RANCH DRESSING: Really good, tastes homemade, seems like it has a sour cream base. 😊

New Post - Jan 2025: Had lunch with colleges today. It's Friday so I had the clam chowder. It was really tasty. Service was pretty good too. We were seated almost immediately. Took a bit for the soup to start coming, but refills were quick and the chowder was really good. Nice job today! Previous post – Oct. 2022: Today I had lunch at Geezers again, unfortunately they lost a star in my book. Our waitress barley visited our table, and the duration between each visit was well over 20 minutes. I had the bottomless cup of potato soup (really good!), a busboy had to get me a refill, along with drinks for everyone else in the party. Our waitress showed up about 5 minutes later, this was very disappointing. When it came time for the check, our waitress dropped off the bill and disappeared again; after literally 5 minutes, we when to go pay at the front. Lunch should NOT take 1.5 hours when you are getting salads and soup. On a brighter note, we recognized the busboy and let him the tip for the meal. Here’s hoping the next few visits are better so that they can earn the star back. Old Post - Dec. 2021: Had the blackened chicken salad for lunch with a colleague, service was fast, out order came out really fast. Hard a nice atmosphere.

Meet up with friends. It's been years at least 5 years since having their food. But I can recall having the pinwheel pasta w shrimp. I ordered it again, and it was good, but the shrimp was tiny shrimp. The service was a little slow, and management came out to check if we were in a rush to get back to work(we were not), and we were given a complimentary pie.

Food was served hot and quickly. Great relaxing ambiance . Our server was great. She was very helpful and always kept our order flowing.

A hidden gem. A combination of a bar slash restaurant slash deli slash banquet hall... ect. Great outdoor look, modern and elegant interior, friendly staff and fun atmosphere.

The food is great but there were a few issues of concern: Geezers adds 2.95% to the bill, the servers at our table put drinks anywhere on the table without regard to who ordered which drink, servers reached across my plate of food to serve others while I was eating my dinner, and the weekend seating policy was not made clear during the call to make a reservation (other than they do not accept reservations on weekends) but we were told to arrive 30-minutes early and then we had to stand around waiting for a table until everyone arrived. Like so many other businesses I am sure that Geezers has struggled to replace their pre-COVID staff and it probably didn't help that the restaurant was crazy busy. Again, the food is excellent and we plan on going back again to work our way through their menu.

Huge place and decent sized menu. Lots of variety. They have beer on tap and perhaps even a full bar. I don't know as I wanted to drive the 80 miles home after lunch.

Great place for a good meal, big servings and at a great price. We had a late lunch (around 3pm) and our food arrived quickly. You must have the freshly baked sourdough bread and one of their huge calzones. I was expecting traditional marinara sauce but was pleasantly surprised it was more of a hearty chili and beans sauce. It's different but tasty. Overall, I would definitely recommend you check it out.

I came to Geezers for a work meeting after it was recommended to me. I’d been there years ago, and while the décor feels a little dated, the atmosphere still has that country-club vibe. The crowd was diverse, with a good mix of people, which made it interesting. The food came in huge portions and was absolutely delicious. No complaints at all—I enjoyed a nice drink, a great meal, and had a good experience overall.

This is a local spot, that I feel is a good balance between price, quality, and portions. At first the pricing seems high, but the portions and quality of food is definitely worth it. Very clean establishment, and friendly welcoming staff. It's a sports bar and restaurant, so it gets packed during game time.. with several screens to watch sporting events. If you're eating in the restaurant part, there is usually a wait time... depending on time of day... FRIDAYS (my personal favorite), bottomless claim chowder!! And this isn't a liquidity version, it has big chunks of potatoes and thick, definitely hardy and filling. They have big calzones, personal pizza( bbq chicken is really good), big salads, the Santa Fe chicken is my favorite, claim linguine, hamburgers, zip code nachos (huge, a meal in itself) fettuccine Alfredo...all good, and hardy portions!.. Seems they did raise their prices, so for two people it came out to $65-, which really isn't bad considering quality and portions. You're going to pay high price for food anyways no matter where you go, might as well enjoy the food and portions, I feel geezers has a good balance of the three, price,. portions and quality..enjoy the experience and treat yourself. Update; 07/21/2024 They no longer have the Sunday brunch buffet- bummer.

Interesting mid upscale sports bar atmosphere. Friendly wait staff with quick attentive service. Expect to pay about $18-$30 per person, but the portions are huge. I had a seafood stew and side salad, and both were massive. The stew was good and filling, if a bit bland for my taste. The salad was good and fresh. We have eaten at and been ordering take out from this restaurant for many years. This was the first time we were all around disappointed. When we placed the order, the email said it would be ready in 20 minutes. We arrived when it should have been ready, but I was told they were still working on it. Another 20 minutes later, I finally got our food. When I got to the car, I decided to double-check my items. We were missing a salad. I went back inside to let them know, and I was told that I just didn't see it. I informed them that I had looked at everything in the bags and had no salad. I waited again for a salad to be made and finally went home. It was over an hour from the time we ordered to finally getting home with our food, and we live less than 5 minutes away. The bruchetta bread was so hard that we couldn't break the pieces apart. We even tried using a knife, and it all just turned to breadcrumbs. The same thing happened when I tried to bite into the cookie. I'm sorry, but eating a cookie shouldn't leave you wondering if you have a chipped tooth afterward.

The pasta was dry, with no sauce and the “Chefs” forgot. The chicken glazed walnuts shrimps did not taste good, and oh my gosh the service was horrible, they gave us the wrong drinks, barely came to check and ask us if there’s any problem. The pasta was dry and when we asked for sauce it never came. I really had higher expectations about this place as everyone is hyping it up. I would not dine here again.

Not very accommodating! There were about 20 of us, celebrating a retirement, had to sit in Bar area because we didn't have an exact count...not enough chairs for everyone. Asked for water 2 times, never got it. Tried to get someone's attention to hopefully be able to locate another chair or two somewhere in the restaurant.... nope! It is sooooo loud in there!

I went with my mom and my baby. The hostess offered us a high chair but never brought it to us. I asked our server for a high chair and I had to ask her more than once. When she finally brought it, the buckle was broken, so I wasn't even able to use it. We ordered the meatloaf, which was good, it had good flavor. My mom ordered the potato cheese soup and that was not good, there was no cheese in the soup and it tasted overly starchy. The place wasn't busy but our server was not very attentive.

The host was NOT friendly or courteous at all, nor only to us, but to the young lady who tried helping him. He was slow and not organized. Lots of people waiting and a lot of empty tables. We gave him our names and although we were literally less than 10 steps away from him at the bar, he never came to call us. So, if you don’t stay at the small foyer, standing up you’ll never hear your name. We ended up taking a spot at the bar and service there was good considering they were busy. The food took long, but it was good. Their buffalo wings are great because they have the buffalo taste, yet they are not too spicy and they had just the right amount of vinegar. The best were the lemon pepper wings. We also ordered a sausage pizza which looked more like they put everything on it, but it was good. I didn’t like my strawberry margarita, but everyone else liked the tap beer and mixed drinks.

It's a big place. Service was not the quickest it was fine. However the menu is basically bar food. Not spectacular and decent enough. I love a cold beer but don't need free ice in it , as pictured…

We have been customers for a while of this place; food is excellent but customer service is really poor. The time of waiting to be assigned for a table, the servers never come to the table to ask what you need? etc,etc. It is not the first time it is happen, it is so many times. the waiters look like if they do not have idea about what is to be a waiters. I have the feeling that nobody train them.

I was the DJ for this weekend 9.16.23 Birthday Party event and was scolded by the restaurant manager for moving a dessert table 2 inches. She threatened that she will remember me for any future events to not allow me in their venue. I was cordial and nice and signed her vendor agreement but that interaction deserves a 2 star for the restaurant manager telling me that was not allowed. Really, that can be easily fixed in 3 seconds. This is coming from a Hotel Director of Sales and Marketing in charge of Customer Service Excellence which Cindy's attitude was far from and not warranted. All other servers and individual's I came across with and the gentleman with the crutch (name slips me) were very delightful to deal with. Please vet your employees and make sure they treat guests and vendors w/ respect. Otherwise great event and service by your staffing front lines!

Well, if service or customer service are of any importance to you...this is NOT the place. Maybe it was luck of the draw for me, maybe not. Point is, I was seated, I waited patiently for ten minutes and nothing. My table may as well have been empty. Finally flagged someone down and let's just say the rest was pretty much on par with what I've stated. Food is o.k. prices are o.k. But I won't be returning. Take my review with a grain of salt and you be the judge 😐

After sitting at our table for several minutes without being acknowledged, I had to walk to the bar to get the waitress’ attention. I then got a dirty look from her, and bad vibes during our meal. Too much chatter at the bar station, and not enough rounds to make sure your customers have everything they need.

We were here for a memorial reception & service was not good. One bartender for the entire restaurant: private party (ours) & walk in guests...Really? The wait time for beverages was unacceptable. Not likely to ever recommend this venue for another gathering. The waitress was rude & lied to her boss-mgr about this situation. Her boss defended her decision for being disrespectful to our guests. Most wait staff was exceptional but one individual ruined it for us. Not happy. I flew in from Texas, for this? An experience not to be repeated! Trust this review: patrons are usually right.

Over all... good food..... not so good service.... seemed like some of the staff actually worked and the rest seems to just Hangout...heres my play by play......Beene 10 minutes... still waiting for someone to at least take our drink order? ..gonna repost in ten minutes .. let's see how this goes... apparently one has to aggressively wave down service... I wish I had anything good to say. We had a party of 16 people wanting to have dinner at Geezer's, and had called to inquire more than a week in advance to make a reservation, only to be told that they do not take reservations. On the day of our event, I called again to see what if there was anything they could do, and was again told they could not do a reservation. However, they were having a "mellow" day (their words) and should be able to accommodate us. When we showed up at the restaurant, we were told it would be an hour to wait, or they could serve us in groups, neither of which was acceptable. Our party was a family gathering with 2 ladies over 80 years old and 3 young children among us. Talking to the manager got us nowhere. The policy of no reservations is ridiculous, so we called Olive Garden in Whittier from Geezer's parking lot, and they were more than happy to accommodate us right away. Net result is we spent several hundred dollars at Olive Garden and left a very generous tip.

Server in the bar had a terrible attitude. We were having a family gathering in the banquet room. After the event was over we moved to the bar area. We tried moving tables together to accommodate family. A waitress in the bar area very rudely moved the table back with attitude and without explanation. We complained to the manager and she boldly denied having done such a thing. After spending lots of money in the banquet room it was not acceptable for this waitress to treat us like that. I've been going to Geezers for many years. I meet Rob when the store first opened and to say the least I was totally surprised to have family treated like this.

Such a waste of space and decor. Is basically a glorified Chucky Cheese, food is as boring as it comes, flavors are bland, I'm almost positive they use subpar ingredients and generic everything. The service was fine, but for some reason relying on tablets to take and order seems a bit automated...

We love this place BUT ! They ran out of micheladas by 7 pm! They have the best micheladas in the area but to run out on a Saturday ? Come on Geezers. We spend hundreds at Geezers along with countless other loyal customers. We’ll be back to restock your bar if you don’t hahahaha. Cheers !!!

When ordering takeout from this place make sure you're ready to deal with unfriendly staff as their concerns for your order seem like consequences to their job as taking them. Un-happy and frankly rude staff is what's make this place unlikeable. Food and atmosphere are fare but some employees are unacceptable.

Meet up with friends for lunch 5/24/24 and we had extra people so we added at table to ours. Well michael the manager took offense to us moving tables together. He was rude and scolded use for moving tables. His behavior was uncalled for and should be removed from management . The food was good but this place left a lasting dislike due to his actions. I will advise others to avoid this place as Michael is a deal killer.

Stay away!!! I really wanted to like this place because we would come here when I was a kid. I brought my wife 12 years ago and she didn't like it. This time she wanted to give it a second chance, but I was the one who said never again. They put no effort into their steak sandwich, I had to cut the meat, and the meat was bland. To top it all of we started with a server who has glasses, then another server started taking care of it table while or server was at the bar. We had to ask the hostess who or server was. It ended up being the last at the bar and it table was next to her the whole time... After this experience I removed them from favorites on Google...

The staff handling takeout orders is incredibly rude. They insist on getting a signature on the receipt before you even have a chance to check if the food is correct. Their face is full of attitude, like they're mad at the world for no reason, and they act like they're doing you a favor just by handing you your food. With this level of staff training — or complete lack of it — this place is not worth your time. Avoid it at all costs. What a waste of a tip, seriously. 😂
