Excellent service, delicious food, in a welcoming environment.

We were going to North China but they were closed the week leading into Christmas! Magic Dragon was close & they took everything we would have ordered from the closed place & made it in half the time!! It was great! Highly recommended! It was take out & we had enough for 2 days! Wonton soup was fabulous! Beef & Broccoli so good! You cannot go wrong!

After a vacation,it’s very good for us.

We had the eggplant and fried rice. Was absolutely amazing. Seated right away, not busy. Server went out of her way to check on us. Very attentive to food allergies and made us fried rice without the egg. Bathroom was easy to access, right when you walk in on the left hand side. Parking lot with ample space. Would highly recommend this place.

They have nice and attentive service. The dining room is a little dated but kept very well and clean. I enjoyed my visit and my meal there.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in the county.. great food, excellent service, generally pretty quiet and easy to get a table. Nice selection of classic options, great appetizers, healthy portions of food. Waiters don't let your drinks go dry. All around excellent choice!

Friendly and attentive server. Food tasted great. We ordered cashew chicken and General Taos chicken. Good sized portions. We did the combo and that is a huge value add which I recommend. I love that the chicken is white meat also and not just random mixed parts. We will definitely be coming here again.

One thing that was great was my elderly mother wasn't playing close attention to the menu and got a very spicy dish. The server took it back and either had another made or was able to take the spice down a good amount. It was very nice as my mom had picked something obviously marked spicy. It was 100% our fault and they took care of it.

Fabulous restaurant. We stop every time we are in Santa Maria. Great food with friendly, attentive service. Very reasonable prices for generous portions. The soup is top-notch.

I brought a group of 20 difficult people to have a family dinner on Christmas Day and we had a great time! The staff was friendly, helpful, and kind. The food was delicious, served promptly, and quite reasonably priced. Thank you for helping us create a wonderful family memory on my grandpa's 90th birthday!

Great Place We had a variety of plates and each of them were absolutely amazing. Little pricey but good food and the service was supreme. In the Santa Maria area I think it's about the best Chinese restaurant around. Also the service was great couldn't get better. Reason for the 4* rating is due to the prices, again, a little too pricey...

Lovely restaurant in a historic building right across from the Santa Maria Inn. The food was great! Tasted amazing and was fairly priced. The staff was friendly. Very clean, comfortable and quiet even during the lunch rush. The only thing we did not like to much was the corn in the Miso soup. Never seen anyone do that before. I will definitely return on our next visit though.

My new fav Chinese in Santa Maria, prices are high but a great menu selection. Didn't like the broken rusty fixtures and graphitti in the bathroom, or the graphitti outside.

Great food, one of the two best restaurants in town for hot Asian food.

Really liked this place. We went with my wife and two young teenage children. I was skeptical at first because it looked a little too tourist-y and there weren't that many customers there, but my first impression was wrong -- very wrong -- and I'm glad that it was! The decorations look a little worn, like the restaurant has been there a while and could use a few touch-ups, but the booth seats were comfortable and the lighting was bright enough but not overbearing. Maybe the locals don't frequent the place simply because it's been here a while? I don't know; they certainly deserve more business. The menu is a mix of Chinese and Japanese cuisine. We ordered a mix of soups including egg flour and hot and sour; both were very good. In fact, everything we ordered was very tasty. The vegetables were not overcooked and the meats were tender and flavorful. We enjoyed a few dishes family style, and everybody enjoyed all the dishes. The wait staff was extremely well mannered. Every time he put something on the table, he would present it with a little hand flourish, presenting the dish to the diner. It's a little thing, but respectful gestures like that add to a pleasant dining experience. Would definitely go again. I really liked this place!

This was the location for a family birthday party that we attended recently. So the review is mor for the venue and not for the food since most of the food was brought in specifically for the party. The venue is nice and there was plenty of space to fit all of the party guests. The party area was in an area to the side of the rest of the patrons. The staff attending to our party seemed very helpful.

Food is usually really good but this last time was just good not really good just good. The flavor just didn't seem to be there like before. Maybe just a different cook, will go again

They have pretty delicious Chinese food here and the price is lower than I thought. I like 水煮鱼 here.

I moved to this country 8 years ago from China. I wouldn't say I'm picky but non of the Chinese restaurants I've been to in CA was really good, including this one. But the service was quick and polite. Food was decent for sure but just not there. For westerners I think it is a very good Chinese restaurant for sure.

I've always loved the fried rice but this time is not enjoyable; too much so sauce, the rice is so dark and it's not tasty. Second the other dish is overwhelming in Chinese seasoning that over powering the meat. My husband and I hardly ate half of the food.

The place had friendly service and motivated workers however the food was not great. The sizzling rice soup was barely warm and tasted like it was just brought out the freezer; not exaggerating. The orange chicken was hard and tasted like it was getting old. To top it off the plate in front of me looked like it had dozens of fingerprints all over it and looked like it had been handled by dirty hands numerous times. The best part was the warm tea And the appetizer plate.

We ordered the orange tofu and swear and sour chicken, both as meals. All I tasted was sugar. The orange tofu and sweat and sour chicken were very similar and mostly just relied on an extreme amount of sweet for flavor. The Orange tofu did have a little spice. The actual chicken in the sweet and sour chicken was cooked nicely. The egg roll skin was underdone inside and gummy. The rice was bland. The soup that came with the meal was extremely gelatinous and smelled weird, although it didn’t taste terrible. I had to throw it away because the smell was making me sick to my stomach. We did eat some of it so I’m giving it 2 stars but for the price I would expect something more than mostly bland food in sugar sauce. If I want to eat a bunch of sugar, I’ll get dessert. I say this as someone with a big sweet tooth who likes sweet foods. Sugar has it’s place in savory food but if that is the only flavor in the dish, then it’s a really lazy recipe. Panda Express is much better as far as flavors and value go. Glad we had a coupon but still hugely bummed at how much money we wasted trying this place. I’m sure with some relatively minor changes the food could be much better.

The food taste plain to no flavor at all. The wonton soup tasted like frozen package. The bejin shrimp was delicious. Spicy beef had no flavor but good spice level.

Worst service. For that they Billed a service fee of 20% without mentioning anywhere in the Menu. Which (Service fee) I refused to pay. We went for Dinner Menu where Fried rice was Burnt. 😤 Please make sure for Extra charges without notifying the customer Overall bad customer Experience

The server was really nice. The food on the other hand was horrible. The aloha bowl my wife ordered smelled like it was made from food that was days old and starting to turn. The portion size of the sesame item I got was tiny for how much we paid. The fried rice looked like it was made this morning and had sat all day. I got to watch my daughter vomit on herself on the way home. There was only one other family in the restaurant on a Friday night, kind of says how much people think of it. Would not recommend eating here.

First time to visit restaurant after I ordered online and cost around $76.00 with tip. When I went to pick up the food the restaurant was empty. This should have been a red flag. The main concern is that the noodles had a piece of what appears to be steel wool. This was found after I ate some noodles which grossed me out. My stomach started to hurt after eating the food. The review should allow zero stars. Panda Express tastes better and costs less.

Leena provides the worst service The food is great no problem there. First we waited 5 minutes to be seated until she decided to come to seat us. And then once she took our order I asked about a dish and she had an attitude and said there’s a picture in the menu. I let it slide whatever. But then when we paid I didn’t leave her a tip for her bad service. She then said the tip isn’t included in the receipt. I told her where in the menu or receipt did it say we have to leave a tip. She then said everywhere you go 15% tip is recommended. I said yea I tip but I don’t want to today. Then she proceeded to ask if it was the service or the food. I told her it was her service that’s why I wasn’t going to leave anything. I left her my $3 change and she said you don’t have to leave tip if you don’t want to, while she had been giving me a whole speech that I had to leave her one. I left the tip and said don’t worry I will write a review. But I’ve been going at least once a week on my lunch for the past month because the food is good and I had had another gentlemen as my server he was nicer. But definitely be prepared to be stopped before you leave to be forced to leave a tip or else...
