I had brunch at Bruxie and it was an amazing experience. I had the waffle with eggs and cheese — light, fluffy, and delicious — along with waffles topped with cream and maple syrup, which were perfectly sweet. For my kids, we ordered the chicken tenders and pops with waffle fries — everything was crispy, tasty, and fresh. Great spot for a fun and satisfying brunch!

Now let’s talk FOOD: The fried chicken is out of this world—crispy, juicy, and full of bold flavor. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and prepare everything fresh. I ordered the classic chicken and waffle sandwich, and it was honestly one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The waffle is buttery, golden, and slightly sweet, which pairs perfectly with the savory chicken. I also tried their spicy honey drizzle and WOW—it took it to another level! I was so stoked to find a Bruxie! I hadn't been to one since they had a location in Las Vegas! It's so chill in here, they have indoor and outdoor seating and it's a great street to sit outside! The gentleman working the counter was SO kind to us on Friday 3/21/25. He let us take our time, explained the menu and told us some of his favs. We ordered WAY too much food! My son ordered the traditional chicken and waffles and he had a hard time eating it all! The texture of the waffle looked amazing and they gave us lots of extra syrup! I ordered the Holy Chicken! Maple Glazed Chicken, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Cheddar, Sriracha Mayo, Sunny-Side Up Egg* YUM!!!! Hit this spot up for a relaxed meal!

Stopped by this place to get a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised with how good everything tasted. Good variety of chicken sandwiches, chicken & waffles, and salads here. Great indoor/outdoor seating. Very convenient to stop by for a quick bite while getting some shopping/errands done.

Went here with the kids and the food was quite delicious. The chicken was cooked just right and didn't feel too oily. The waffles made for a perfect combination in my opinion. The service and staff were very friendly. Good value for the price as well.

This was a solid amazing food stop. The food came out quick and was very tasty and looked amazing as well. Located in Santa Monica this was a need to stop by while we stayed in the area. Let me start all of this by saying the strawberry smoothie was absolutely incredible! It was seriously the best shake I've ever had and before you consider purchasing anything else try this. Below is the descriptions of some of the food we bought. Mac and cheese - It was overall pretty good. It is a bit spicy so for those who can't handle spice I'd say try something else. It's savory with bacon pieces and a mouthwatering amount of cheese. Nutella banana with strawberries waffle - just the right amount of crispyness with perfect amounts of all the fillings. Worth the buy! Chicken and waffles - sweet and spicy! The chicken was the perfect crisp level while the Waffles were cooked to perfection. They are topped with white sugar and you are given the cutest bottle of bruxie's maple syrup Loaded fries - topped with bacon and cheese, the fries are a perfect appetizer or meal. We did however wish they had some more cheese but overall pretty good. Everything we got was incredibly good. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The place is located on the promenade of Santa Monica, really nice area to walk aroun, done and shop. This is the second time we visit this location, unfortunately we have tried to used the app on store and it didn't work at least the staff didn't know how to make it work. And when you order online doesn't let you make changes, and prices.are about 20% more which is the money you saved on your first purchase through the app. It doesn't make sense. Today at the store, tables were sticky, trash on the floor and untrained clerk assistant, as soon her break started she left her position to eat inside the store. Not only they have 4 people on the floor but only one doing his job. 2 staff at the same time taking their break and using the few tables there were available. Spanish lady and African American woman. More empathy and kindness in this 2 people. They don't seem to like each other. Beside that food took a little bit long, the juice didn't taste fresh and natural as advertised, waffles and everything else was great. I did dine in and took some orders home.

Waffle is in the good zone of crunchyness and softness but it could be considered part of it a little overcooked but does not taste burnt. The chicken was cooked great the sauce used is good it was not too sweet and not too overpowering. The waffle fries is cooked well done so it is crunch when fresh. Issue with this place is the price is a little bit high for what you get. Expect to pay over 20 for a combo (with fries and drink). But it if you view it that its near the coast and a tourist spot it could be understandable price. Atmosphere is somewhat low because the area does look like a fast food place and can be considered open space so weather is very much a factor where you seat. The place does not have a lot of space but this could be because this food can be considered togo food/drinks

The first time I came here was in 2017 when I was in town from Dallas, and 2023 was the second time at the exact location. I'm glad they are still in business while most places were closed. I got in line and ordered the Kickin' "Nashville" Hot, aka spicy chicken waffle, for $13, and my friends ordered The Original for the same price and the shareable, Loaded Waffle Fries or Spiced Tots. Waiting time from order to get the food was around 15 mins. I did not like my spicy chicken much since the spice mostly controlled it and lost the taste of how it was supposed to be, and the waffle was broken down quickly. I highly recommend you try The Original instead. It's tasty and crispy, and you can taste the sweetness of the honey blended with the chicken. I found short thick hair while eating my spicy chicken, which ruined the mood. I told them, and they nicely changed to different options. I hope they can improve this. Service was excellent, and they helped clean up the table after we left, even though we could do it ourselves.

The food is super good and really fun environment to eat at. The portions are pretty small, the original chicken and waffle along with loaded waffle fries barely filled me up. My son and I ate here while doing some errands on the 3rd Street promenade, the service was pretty fast, that we had to ask for someone to clean a table to be able to sit down, it is set up as pretty much a fast food type eatery without much comfort or fanfare, but the food is generous and portion and served fresh! The ambience is pretty much the promenade and all of the passerby as would be expected for a restaurant in this location. I got a chicken tender meal, the nice thing is they do let you pick more than one flavor even though I only got three tenders which were about a third of a chicken breast each! Very large! The waffle fries it came with were very flavorful and crunchy-just the way I like them! My son got a large strawberry waffle which was packaged quite nicely for a to go order, and also very flavorful!

Black lady in the morning handed me the nastiest sauciest breakfast burrito and had this nasty saucy attitude to go with it. She was so rude, demanding all this extra eye contact and then storming off after she handed me my order, which was drenched in sauce and totally not worth the price I paid for it. I came here Saturday night. The restaurant itself wasn’t too busy, they must have had some delivery orders because it took 50 mins to get my chicken tenders. I assumed this was considered fast food, apparently not. There were 2/3 staff members running the entire restaurant. It was bad. Management needs to figure that out. Long wait and service was not there. Would not recommend. It’s a shame because the food was not that bad.
