Def. A place for breakfast. We are vegetarian so we had the vegetarian sandwich with avocado and the veggies. It was awesome with the jalapeno and garlic bagels.

First timer! I only got an everything bagel with cream cheese. The guy who helped me had a nice smile and was very kind. I didn't want it toasted, but the bagel he served me was still warm. I got a fresh batch. Delicious 😋

A very nice little deli for bagels, sandwiches and coffee. Great selection of bagels, including varieties that are more difficult to find elsewhere. The bagels have good chew, the spreads are delicious here. Usual toppings are offered: lox, tomatoes, onion, capers, etc. Deli sandwiches are also made to order here. The coffee is self-serve, and other drinks are offered in a refrigerated case. Prices are moderate. The service is super friendly.

Probably the only real New York bagel in Los Angeles. I moved out of the area, but this places keeps me coming back. Great employees! And its more than just bagels, deli meat and cheeses, and desserts. The fruit tarts are great and make me nostalgic for the Hostess Fruit Pies used to have as a kid.

I drive from Carson to here to get their fresh "lox by the lb"! Best in the City! Dont go buying all of it, i NEED to get them when I go. (Their fresh breads are all AMAZING too!

Wow! Amazing customer service with a smile at 6am in the morning. Love also how they open early @5am everyday too! Tons of Boars Head selections and fresh made bagels. They have a section of discounted bagels too. If you’re looking for pastries or muffins to bring to the office they have a good selection for everyone. There is parking in the back in case you can’t find metered parking in the front.

Unfortunately, they got my order wrong and I had the baked salmon instead, which was a little disappointing. I didn’t bother to have them remake, but the sandwich was delicious, though a little salty for my liking. The bagel was nice and chewy and well-portioned. They also gave us extra cookies for free! :) Recommend this place!

Finding an authentic tasting NY bagel outside of NY is pretty tough. Here, you'll find fresh bagels but it's not going to be a NY bagel. The everything bagel has good flavor. Nice variety to choose from and a parking lot so you don't have to deal with SM parking restrictions

Been here a few times now and always had a pleasant experience. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable about all of the menu and everything available. The meats and veggies are fresh. The breads are made fresh each day ( as far as I know since I've asked ) this is a yes. The loafs of sourdough are absolutely amazing and I highly recommend buying one for home. Boars head is quality and we all know this. So with this in mind you know you're going to have a good sandwich here. I definitely recommend this deli. It's got a real deli feel and great food. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is due to how the deli is organized. Storage is an issue and they have boxes/things hanging around the areas where customers visit. I also noticed that some things aren't cleaned daily ( visible dust on things ) To me owning a restaurant / food joint in general one of the biggest things is to always be clean in all visible areas especially. Or this will cause you to loose business. Other then that? Decor: it's fine just needs to be organized more. Staff: no issues Food: slightly above average Bathrooms: N/A haven't used them.

However when I’m paying almost $7 for a whole wheat everything bagel and veggie cream cheese, does it kill you to give a bit more than less?? Good lord this is how you lose a customer. This place has declined in quality. It has potential to be very good, but the bagels never taste fresh, there’s never enough cream cheese on the bagels, and almost every time we come they mess up some part of the order. The staff however is always very kind and friendly! But the bagels have been so off lately that we stopped coming.

Absolutely delicious food. Great bagels, but no matter how many times I've ordered, or how I read the order to the staff, regardless of who it is, there is always one thing wrong. Still will eat here. Since the ownership has changed, the staff has been rude, dismissive, demeaning, impatient, and disrespectful. When a customer checks their sandwiches, the employees shouldn’t get upset, especially since they refuse to write large orders down, don’t listen to the customer giving the order, and talk back at the customer. I will be taking my business to the other one.

Remember the food being great, and I’m sure ownership has nothing to do with it (not that this matters) but I went to a school where we all had uniforms, so it was beyond clear that all my friends were far below 18.
