Every time I come in to fogo the food and hospitality are excellent Jay and Sarah made sure our order was correct to the last detail and the drinks are always a hit. We had an absolutely fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service truly stood out. Our server, Peter, was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. We were also very well looked after by Alejandro, Charles, and Andrew, who all contributed to making the evening smooth and enjoyable. Love this restaraunt. Perfect location, and everything else. The food is amazing quality for not much more than you’d pay at similar AYCE type places. Meats are succulent and varied, with lots of pork chicken, beef and even lamb options. We also tried the macaroni lobster this time and it was delicious. Our server Charles was very attentive and hospitable to our table. The first time we came our server fulfilled my son’s special request for strawberries despite it not being on the menu and he wasn’t even old enough to be charged for his meal. If you’re looking for lots of great food and a great vibe, this is the place to go.

Food is spectacular service impeccable! Best Brazilian food ever :) and I’m Brazilian so legit. Love all the healthy salads and grilled vegetables and feijoada from the market table. Totally effortless. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ You already know the food at Fogo is going to be good—the Picanha is undefeated and the market table is always fresh. That’s a given. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ But the reason to come to the Santa Monica location specifically is the vibe, and more importantly, the service. We had Charles looking after us, and honestly, the guy is a pro. He operates on a different frequency. He wasn't hovering, but our glasses were never empty and the cuts we wanted just sort of appeared. It was smooth, intuitive, and totally stress-free. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you want a chaotic dinner, go somewhere else. If you want the evening handled by someone who actually knows what they’re doing, ask for Charles's section. He elevates the whole experience without making a big deal out of it. Solid 10/10. What a delicious experience! The food was excellent- the quality & the taste! Fogo de Chao never fails! I don’t eat meat, but the salmon was the bomb! Perfectly cooked! And our server Arni & the gauchos took great care of us! Arni was very respectful and answered all our questions. My friends definitely enjoyed all the meats! Definitely worth every penny!

We arrived for reservations and were seated immediately with options of indoor or outdoor dining. Charles and Andrew, our waiters, were friendly and attentive. They provided us with insight as to the menu and meats, offering sauces and providing us with drinks, clean plates, and encouraging us to try the salad bar. Their salad bar was greatttt! Lots of vegetable, cheese, and meat options, in addition to the traditional carb sides such as mash and potato salad. The gauchos were incredibly knowledgeable about the cuts of meat and kindly shared their recommendations. Will definitely return!

Amazing place! This was my first time here and we were there for a little birthday lunch, and what an experience! Highly recommend doing the experience while you are there- they have a buffet to go get all your sides and then they come around to the table with all different kinds of meat: bacon wrapped chicken, lamb, filet, ribeye, etc. The drinks were amazing and the service was phenomenal. And the key lime pie was great too!

Fogo deI stopped by Fogo de Chão Santa Monica on my own, and it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable solo dining experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel completely welcome and comfortable. They were attentive, polite, and genuinely kind, checking in just enough without being overbearing — which made the evening feel warm and personal. The ribeye was absolutely perfect — juicy, tender, and full of flavor with that signature smoky char. You can tell the chefs know exactly what they’re doing. Each bite was rich and satisfying, cooked just the way I like it. It’s the kind of dish that makes you pause and just appreciate great cooking. Their happy hour deal was another pleasant surprise — 50% off South American wines that are already excellent on their own. I enjoyed a glass that paired beautifully with the steak, and the staff even made a few thoughtful recommendations that were spot-on. The ambiance was relaxed yet upscale, with a nice buzz of energy but never too loud or crowded. Even though I was dining alone, I never once felt out of place — just comfortable and content, enjoying great food and great service in a beautiful setting. Overall, Fogo de Chão Santa Monica impressed me on every level. Between the perfect ribeye, amazing wine deal, and outstanding service, it’s easily a five-star experience. Whether you’re with a group or dining solo, this place makes you feel taken care of. I’ll definitely be back!

LOVED this place! It was my first time at the Santa Monica location (I’d been to the Beverly Hills one many moons ago), and it did not disappoint. The ambiance was wonderful - once evening settled in, the lights dimmed and created such an intimate, cozy atmosphere for my birthday dinner. ✨ The service was truly my favorite part. Every server was kind, attentive, and thoughtful, while also giving us the perfect amount of space to simply enjoy the experience together. My second time coming down to the Santa Monica location and it was very delicious again! we like to order the tomahawk steak and it is very tasty, the sides were good Aswell the mashed potatoes and fried bananas, the staff was also very friendly the managers and our server! Great service from Jayjay and Sara, they were both super friendly and attentive throughout the night. The restaurant was pretty busy since it was a Friday, so the food did take a little while to come out, and when it arrived it was cold. That said, the service really made up for it and they did a great job taking care of us. Just a small FYI: if you sit on the patio, it gets pretty cold out there, so bring a jacket! Overall still a good experience thanks to the staff. 😊

I came here for my boyfriend’s birthday, and unfortunately we didn’t enjoy our experience. The service was slow and not very attentive, and the meat didn’t come around often. For a special occasion, we expected way better. Especially because I know how good the Dallas locations are the quality and service there are completely different. Santa Monica just didn’t meet that standard at all. I hope they improve, because Fogo can be amazing when done right.

Went recently had the enhanced experience brought a friend was prob like 76 before tax a person for that ofc, ive been to fogos quite a few times my first time at this location, the food was decent. The service was very mediocre for this kind of chain of restaurant in my opinion granted i did go midday, one of my servers was who was in the kitchen was cool the other one that was more of a busboy was kind of weird until he seen i was paying.. place was filthy when you look at the bottom of the tables there was food and trash and gunk all on the lining and it was on all the ones i seen, grab a broom and clean that up for christ sakes and then get on your hands and knees and clean them, i run a few establishments myself and i cant stand when people cut corners especially at a place of this stature.. Overall my experience was mid, probably wouldn’t return no time soon, i tipped 20 dollars on a 176 dollar bill and tbh that was generous in my opinion considering the very mediocre service that day. Clean up in that place a bit scrub everything, place is disgusting i should call health inspectors.

We were so excited to celebrate Valentine’s Day at Fogo de Chão, especially since we traveled all the way from Canada for our first visit. Sadly, it turned out to be one of the most disappointing dining experiences we’ve ever had. The interval between meat servings was almost an hour. We kept waiting and waiting, and it honestly felt like there was no urgency or willingness to serve us. For a special occasion like Valentine’s Day, we expected something memorable but nothing felt special at all. What made it even more frustrating was the promo issue. Upon arrival, I clearly asked our waiter if we could use our promotional item, and he said yes. But when the bill came, we were suddenly told we couldn’t use it. That was very upsetting and confusing. We relied on the information given to us, only to be told something completely different at the end. Instead of feeling celebrated, we left feeling disappointed and let down. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant based on our experience.

This was my first time at this restaurant for a Christmas dinner with a cousin and my daughter. We had made reservations and it's highly recommended that you do so. After arriving at the restaurant we waited as we were told that they needed to clear tables. About 20 minutes later we were seated and we requested not to sit outside. We had a great location in the back in a booth. Our server Zack who took our order was really attentive and cheerful. However after our drinks were served that's where the problems arise. There was one other couple who were even in the corner booth next to us. When the server would come with me he would only serve them and spin off without asking if we were interested. Came with different cuts of me but never offered it to my table my cousin became very upset and spoke to one of the servers who said he would bring by the filet cooked to medium. When the server came back with the fillets telling her it was medium the meat was actually well done. On top of that she had also ordered an additional crab cake which didn't come to the table till an hour into the service. It's very unfortunate that the service was so shotie. The cuts I was able to try we're very flavorful however they never brought the lamb chicken or anything else to the table only ribeye and filet and that's if you caught the guy that chose to service. We brought it up to management Who removed the crab cakes and 1 of the 4 meals. I feel upset and taking advantage of for paying for meal that was over $300 and did not get any of the meat. Hopefully this is just a location thing the floor manager came to our table however by the time they decided to tell all of the servers to come by to offer us cuts of me we had already decided we wanted our bill. The service was all over the place and I didn't attribute it to just it being Christmas service. We confronted one of the servers who consistently failed to offer us any food and he looked at us and then went away again not offering us anything. They did offer us a gift card however I am questionable about that. That was my first time there along with my daughter and it was crazy to know that we're going out to eat again right now because we weren't full from the original meal.
