My son and I shared the sandwich and soup family meal and it was awesome. We both had chicken pesto sandwiches, clam chowder bread bowls, and peanut butter cookies. I always order online and pick up. I think the crew working on Monday is more organized and together than what I have encountered here on Thursday or Friday. Even when I have had to wait on those days though, the staff is always nice and the food is always good! Today just happened to be exceptional.

New to the Santa Rosa area and was happy to find Boudin while shopping in the area. New Steak Florentine sandwich with Spring Salad and treats like Royale cookies and lemon bars are the best. Will definitely be back!! Most locations are busy so early lunch is best 🥗🍪🥪. Cheers;

I come in here a lot as a food delivery driver and the employees are always friendly and the orders are usually ready or there might be a one or two minute wait which is nice. But there is one employee (I wish I could remember his name) that usually works the evenings around the weekend. The best way to describe him is like a ray of sunshine. He makes going in to pick up an order a pleasure. Oh and the lemon bars are the best I've ever had.

This place is great I went there for lunch but is also open for breakfast and dinner I'm looking forward to going to this restaurant one of those times.

I love this place for their bread. They have several cute designs (like turtles). My favorite thing to get is the grilled cheese with apple slices and fig jam. Bacon and jalapeños slices really kick it up to the next level. The staff is friendly. Definitely make sure you get their app, so you can get free bread every month 🤤

I always stop at Boudin for a big bowl of clam chowder on my way back to Napa, but today it's a little to warm out for hot soup so naturally I snagged the perfect sandwich and a bag of chips! The Boudin Sandos are just as good as any Italian delicatessen put out, and reasonably priced too. 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

My son enjoyed the hot soup after a hard day.: clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl. We take Boudin’s bread and salads to the beach when we visit the ocean.

Great food at a good price. Cafeteria style service is attentive, portions are pretty large. Very popular for lunch. Lots of food options,not just a soup place, but the soups are delicious

Very tasty. The service was great, a very friendly staff. They let us sample the clam chowder when I was trying to decide what to eat. It's very clean, nice and warm. Very affordable. The only thing that I wasn't a fan of was the burger; it's not what I was expecting.. the bread was a little too hard on the outside and it was skinny, so everything fell out. I'll likely be back!

I was pleasantly surprised when i took a wheelchair group here. The food was great and more reasonably priced than I expected. We were frusterated having no menus but our friendly waitress more than made up for this. She did an amazing job and the other staff also were very kind and helpful. It seemed a little chaotic when it got busy but it was fun people watching.

Love the food. Can't stand the new online *only* ordering. If you don't become a member you have to give up your email address and your phone number just to order a sandwich?? Ridiculous. And they make you order online now, but they don't take PayPal or Google Pay etc. I have to enter my credit card number every time. I used to order sandwiches on the way home all the time. These guys have pretty much lost my business with no phone orders. Way less convenient. Miss the food though

Quality is always good, the staff? Not so much. I would say that more than half of the time they won’t get my order right, I mean how hard is it to type in what I am asking for? They of course blame the people making the food, it’s not the cooks fault when the receipt shows the order taker messed it up. IF you can get what you actually ordered it’s good food at a reasonable price. Their loyalty club (totally free) entitles you to a free loaf of bread every month which is a nice perk if you love sourdough as much as I do.

I had suggested this restaurant to family visiting from New York. We ordered the clam chowder & squash soup in bread bowls, and a pepperoni sausage pizza for takeout. The bread bowls were in wrapped bags, but were incredibly stale (not just sourdough-ish). The soups were very runny and lacked seasoning, which helped with the stale bread but we still required water to eat any of the remaining bread. Popeyes would be jealous. The pizza is no better than frozen Digiorno. The toppings all sat on top of a shallow layer of cheese, and rolled off as if they were frozen and didn't cook into the pizza (of which the flavor supported the frozen argument). The cooks didn't look like they knew how to prepare orders, they were constantly checking cheat-sheets and asking questions while preparing the food. I would not recommend these items from this restaurant.

Love the food always great, but ever since they started hiring these younger kids straight out of high school the service has not been great. We ordered three burgers and three salads asked for 4-5 ranches. What we saw when we got home from picking up was two salads and two burgers and three ranches. Okay mistakes happen. We go back to get our burger and get a sorry excuse of an apology and STILL did not get our third salad. I don’t blame the kids working there, but you have to have a few more experienced workers to supervise the orders that are being sent out. The customer service is lacking.

I visited the Santa Rosa location to pick up two single bottles of wine to take to a cooking class across the way. The kid behind the counter was absolutely the worst employee a company could have. Stood there for 20 min. With two people ahead of us. If he went any slower he would have been in reverse. He couldn’t find the wine he charged us for???? Ended up paying 15 buck for horrible cheap wine because he couldn’t find what we ordered. I’m not sure how this place is still in business

The pastrami melt was EMBARRASSING! It was basically mutilated and all fat parts of the pastrami. Really just horrible and lazy.

Really don’t like to be this person But I for the most part Love Boudins !! It’s one of my favorites to get food …. I’m extremely disappointed I usually order from doordash on here …. And I was upset because me and my daughter are sick so I seen they had a Buy One get one Free deal online through the App so when I click on it it automatically charges me for two … therefore the total being 23 dollar for the two …. And not to mention I got a sandwich do it was trying to charge me the two soups and the sandwich so I called on the phone and told the guy to plz cancel my order and he hadn’t canceled it In time so by the time I check the order was apparently still going through so when I tried to finally cancel because the manager didn’t cancel it It still ended up charging me the 37 dollars and it said it couldn’t refund me … get real this is such a. Steal …. Greedy corporations… Stop false advertising…. don’t put it on the App online next time …not everyone is rich and can afford 37 dollars just wasted like that especially when we have mouths to feed !!! Extremely disappointing next time I’ll just end up going to the one in San Francisco

The service is usually good people wise. I've been coming to this place for years. Doesn't matter who's managing the place. It's always dirty. I'm here now. It's 6 tables full of dishes and trash. The floor is always dirty. Despite that the food is the only thing that keeps me coming back. They are always understaffed in my opinion. I think after today I won't be returning. This is the most dirtiest It's been.

Food is fantastic! But we tend to be missing anywhere from one breadbowl to multiple sandwiches every time we order. The food is so good we just deal with getting refunds from grubhub, but we're done. We're tired of it. It doesn't seem hard to make sure all of an order is present, but they sure fail at it a lot.

If I wasn't directly to the side of the counter I wouldn't have even heard her....Got my sandwich open in the car and I immediately found a curly hair in it.....it's definitely not from someone's head if you catch my drift. LAST time I'll give this place a chance. It's no longer worth it unless you want to pay almost $50 for mouldy lettuce and pubes in your food.
