A total success! From the moment we called to make a reservation, they were incredibly kind, especially on the second day when they were fully booked and still made room for us. We waited patiently at the bar, but the fact that they made that reservation for us was a huge plus! The paellas are made to order; they have everything else listed on the menu. The place is clean, charming, and the staff is fantastic. The ingredients are excellent, and the food is homemade. We were delighted! There's parking right outside, and it's best to book in advance, as I mentioned. It's always packed.

We discovered it on the first day, and what a discovery! Good food, good people, and good prices. In fact, we went back the next day because we were curious to try some rice, and again, it was a great choice. A very delicious seafood paella. Of course, it's a lot, so be warned. And coming from a Galician, it's amazing. The octopus was cooked to perfection, by the way. The desserts were also delicious. I have no complaints. And with such friendly and helpful staff... If we return to Santander, we'll definitely go back.

I couldn't be happier!! 😊 We read some reviews beforehand and also phoned, so we knew they don't really speak a lot of English, and we spoke to them in Spanish as much as we could. In terms of the food, it was spectacular. ⭐ Upon our first visit, we asked if they had paella and they don't, they say they can't serve it on the day, you have to book in advance. We had squid ink 🦑 rice 🍚 and tuna potato stew 🍲; both were delicious. They also come in generous servings! We had paella 🥘 the next day. It was perfect. Honestly the best I've ever had. 🎀 Seafood was fresh, no wonder you have to book in advance, they serve you with fresh ingredients and not frozen seafood. Bravo 👏👏👏👏👏 This is now my favourite restaurant, saved on my list forever. 🩷

I came, like almost everyone else, because of the Google reviews. It was a great choice. The scallops were a 10/10. The fried squid was the best I've had on this trip (and I'm a novice at this), and the black rice was delicious. The meatballs were truly homemade, served with a fantastic sauce. The sweet touch at the end was the perfect finishing touch. A neighborhood bar that I recommend over other, more glamorous places. Oh! And the portions are generous!

This was hands down by best meal in Santander and I loved everything about this restaurant. The atmosphere was fantastic, and they managed to squeeze us in at the bar even though it was packed. All the people that served us were friendly and helpful, and the food was incredible. We ordered rabas, arroz negro and a couple of desserts and everything was SO good. If you want an authentic experience and genuine great Spanish food, go here.

We saw this restaurant-bar listed on Trip Advisor, and it was our first culinary stop upon arriving in Santander. It's clear it's a local favorite, as many people order takeout. I recommend booking, as we almost ran out of food. Luckily, we got a table at the bar. The service was excellent, even though it was packed. We ordered a half portion of squid, beans with shrimp and octopus, tiger mussels, and Galician-style octopus. We had two glasses of Albariño white wine and cheesecake and lemon mousse for dessert. All of this for €50. The seafood was truly excellent, everything delicious. Highly recommended!

This place is simple, rustic and the food is super tasty. Waiters are nice and they can give you really good suggestions. If you want to eat "paella" you have to reserve it one day before. But trust me, the octopus is terrific 🔥

Como siempre, la belleza está en el interior, y en este caso es una verdad como un templo. NO HACER CASO DE LA ZONA DONDE ESTA NI DEL ASPECTO EXTERIOR. Comimos muy bueno y muy bien de precio, el cocido montañés de categoría, igual que el pulpo, los pimientos rellenos y todo lo demás. El servicio muy atento y amable, somos una pareja y nos recomendaron la media ración puesto que ya son muy contundentes. Lo recomendaré a amigos y conocidos, puesto que está en una zona poco turística y merece mucho la pena.

Pides varios platos y hasta qué no acabas un plato no te ponen el siguiente, de esta forma lo comes todo recién hecho y no se te enfría. Pedimos 4 medias raciones para dos chicas y acabamos llenas, felices y habiendo comido muy bien. Recomendado sin duda. Precio de 41 euros para cuatro 1/2 raciones de: pulpo, mejillones tigre, croquetas carne y rabas)

We really like how they prepare the 🥘 with lobster 🦞. We order it to take home, and they never fail to deliver. There are tons of people ordering, and there are also tons of people in the restaurant. The clams a la marinera are also delicious. While we waited for our order, we ordered a half portion of mussels in sauce, and they were delicious. Quality is always a good thing.

With rice for three, six of us ate it and there was some leftover. I wasn't entirely convinced; I liked the seasonings too much. As always, two of the six loved it. Great atmosphere, you feel right at home.

Muy mal sitio, lo hacen todo sin ganas y no saben preparar la comida bien. Las vieiras estaban muy saladas y las hacen con aceite de girasol que por el precio que tienen es un estropicio. Han tratado el fuet como si fuera una salsa y lo han mezclado con vinagre y salsa de tomate en mi plato de fuet y me han puesto panes baratos de paquete del lupa con ello. Es que ni si quiera son muy buenos el tamaño de las porciones por el precio. Id a un restaurante decente que los hay mucho mejores Este es un 6/10 como mucho Si tienes hambre y no llegas a casa pasate pero si tienes cualquier otra opción tratate con respeto a ti mismo y escoje esa otra
