Delicious drinks with a ton of toppings and flavor options. Have gotten the winter melon, taro, and coffee teas. The coffee is super strong, exactly how I like it and not sugary sweet. Seems like other reviews are a bit harsh compared to my ongoing positive experience here.

I'm far from a boba aficionado, but I would definitely give this place another visit. The staff was nice and offered recommendations and customer favorites. Next time I will make sure to order the "popping" balls because I didn't really like having to chew my drink 🙃

Idk why the bad reviews, I came to try it first time bc I was heading to Daboba and I decided to give a try to this place, the service 10/10 and the Guava-Pinneaple boba tea and Mangonada was fire 😛 even the price is so worth it!!!

My kiddos loved their boba drinks! They really especially loved that popcorn chicken! You can get it spicy too!

Really enjoyed the boba here, great flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. The snacks were okay. The space itself is super nice and has a chill vibe, which made it a great spot to sit down and get some work done. Definitely a solid place to grab a drink and focus for a bit!

Good drinks variety & customizable. Chicken egg rolls are good and not greasy Orange chicken & rice was also good & well portioned. We come here often service is friendly sometimes there is a wait but nothing terribly long, and the drinks / food are consistently great.

If you’re not in a rush, Boba Joy is definitely worth a visit for the food alone. But if they can tighten up the front-of-house operation, it could become a true local favorite.

We used to order from this place regularly and they had some of my favorite egg rolls ever. Unfortunately, today when we received our food it was very clear that the fry oil had not been changed in a long time and everything had a burnt taste. The wings were especially bad but the taste permeated throughout all the dishes. The drinks were good though, which is why I gave 2 stars instead of one.

Not a fan at all and that’s disappointing as I’ve been wanting to try this place since they opened. I got the passion fruit slushi with boba to share with my daughter. When my order was up, the boba was forgotten about. Then when it came up, they chose which boba I’d want for me I guess since it was the golden boba rather than the usual original boba. First time having golden boba and didn’t notice any difference aside from color. But I still wished it was mentioned that’s what I got. The slushi flavor was so strong and tart that it ended up hurting my stomach after just a few sips. As you can see in the pic, the drink is half syrup or whatever they use. Only reason why I gave 2 starts rather than 1 is because the kid at the front was extremely polite and kind. I won’t be returning to try something else.

We just came in today at 8:30 which I get is a little late. But I didn't expect my drinks to come out tasting more like water than anything. We got the taro smoothie and oreo matcha brulee. The taro smoothie was extremely watery and hardly tasted like taro. The oreo matcha brulee tasted a little better but was nothing like the one you guys posted on instagram. It was just matcha flavored water with bits of oreo. No cream or anything that made it seem like a brulee. Very unfortunate:(

I usually get my brown sugar milk tea from other boba places but since this boba place was unfortunately near me I decided to give it a try, and I regretted this. Used to go here when they first opened. Food was great and service was quick. Today I ordered popcorn chicken with rice and wings. Waited almost 45 minutes to get the food and it was not busy at all. Got home and tried the food. The popcorn chicken was not as tender as before and there was more breading than chicken. Worst of all, they served day old rice which was dehydrated, stuck together, brown in color, and pretty inedible. Looks like service has really changed and gone downhill since I went here a couple months ago. I will not be coming back.

This boba was absolutely worst I’ve ever had, water with no flavor. I order an oolong tea and my partner got a brown sugar milk tea and one for our little one. The only thing with a hint of flavor was the slushy for the kiddo. Everything else was terrible. I wanted to get a refund or exchange but we had already left and were in hurry for the night. Pretty upset. I still might come back for a refund this on an off day. Furthermore I just want to say the people were nice and it was fairly clean in there. I do not leave reviews often. Last time I left a review it was because I found a bandaid in my sandwich at Cali Baguette express @ 5125 El Cajon Blvd, San Diego, CA 92115.

I ordered pickup through DoorDash, mostly for food with two drinks. When I arrived, I was shocked to find that they had canceled all my food without notifying me—only the drinks remained. I took the time to drive all the way there, only to be told they shut off the fryers an hour before, which was when I placed my order. If that’s the case, why even allow food orders? A heads-up would have saved me the trip. The drinks were mediocre at best—I ended up going to Daboba across the street instead. Now, I’m still waiting for my refund since DoorDash is holding the full amount. Overall, a complete waste of time.
