Use their free app for great deals. We usually get family chicken meals but we've also had bowls, quesadillas and tacos. Good food and good service at a decent price if you take advantage of the deals in their app. The employees are always nice.

I came in for lunch today and to start off the cashier was such a nice lady! Even though I don’t go to this location like once a month the cashier was so nice and she acted like I was a regular customer. She took her time to ask me how have I been doing since the last time I was there. It made me feel so welcomed. I bought myself my fresh chicken salad and it was so good! Like always it was so fresh and yummy! I appreciate the staff and the prices!

I ordered my usual Queso Burrito but forgot to update my location...I usually order from a location by work in Carlsbad 45 minutes away, not Santee. I realized my mistake but had no way to cancel. I went inside, told them I ordered from the wrong location and showed them the order on my phone in the app. The manager Ruben called the Carlsbad location and told them not to make the burrito, that he would fulfill the order from his location in Santee. I didn't even have to cancel and reorder, he just took care of it. Awesome customer service! And the burrito was delicious as usual.

I love this location! Better than Lemon Grove and National City. Customer service is excellent and the food is always fresh. Chicken is succulent and served hot. I could eat the chips alone -but they just make the meal even better. Can never go wrong choosing the $5 lunch combo

Order taker didnt say welcome in or thank you. Ordered 3 pc dark. Mac an mashed. Chicken burnt, shrunk, dry, no flavor. Asked for 4 guacamole sauces. Gave 2 an acted like that's all I get. Asked for 2 more an acted like I'm going to waste them. Tables weren't being wiped down. Trash container overfilled.

I am not sure how this location has a good rating. I ordered a double chicken avocado tostada with no salsa Fresca with a side green salsa (which she confirmed twice), two churros, and a regular Dr Pepper. I received my tostada with double dry overcooked chicken with salsa Fresca and no green salsa, two stale churros, and I’m pretty sure my Dr Pepper was mixed with what tasted like Pepsi (I was scared to keep drinking it). Very disappointed and scared to go back because my drink did not taste right.

I ordered and paid $1 extra for the spicy garlic parm saucy nuggets. Yet I hardly got any sauce, and the container they placed the nuggets in was not appropriate enough for the "so-called" extra sauce to drench the nuggets. VERY DISAPPOINTED. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

I had a problem with my order, which was delivered to another address. When I asked the manager here at the establishment for help, the service was very poor. What a disappointment.

Update: Someone from El Pollo Loco responded to my post asked for me to send this through their website to fix the issue which I did. No response and it’s been a few weeks. I would have changed my review if they responded.
