My favorite coffee in East county! The drive through one in lakeside is great too, but both have home made baked goods like their muffins are so soft and fluffy and moist and I always get either a latte or a cortado and they're always delicious!

The espresso, atmosphere, and prices are all great here. I wish they were more diligent about taking names for orders when they are busy, but they quickly and kindly resolve mix-ups

It all starts with a good name, it ends with great coffee :) This place has both, plus a nice vibe (plenty of space to hang out), and super service!

I love Kaffe Meister and frequent it on the regular! The staff is kind and friendly, and their coffee is delicious! Katie and Katy are both talented baristas that created a drink called a "turtle" and I highly recommend it! I'm hoping to see it on the menu soon🤞🤍

cafe meister is the perfect place to get your caffeine fix. the coffee is always fresh and the menu has an extensive variety of options to suit every taste. the staff at cafe meister is very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing and cozy. whether you're looking for a quick pick-me-up or looking to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee, cafe meister is the place to go. overall, i would highly recommend cafe meister to anyone looking for a great cup of joe. 10/10, good times.

Great place with a great vibe and they seem to be an indie cafe, but in a good way. Decor is chill and relaxing and they have the best nitrogen cold brew coffee ever! Service was friendly, crowd seemed collegiate and focused but also relaxed. Seating is both indoor and outdoor and very comfortable. Highly recommended!

My first time visiting. I was recommended to have the banana bread latte. I did and switched milk for oat milk. I was absolutely delicious.

I live half an hour away, and am happy to make the drive to this awesome coffee shop. It is homey, welcoming, and the coffee is fantastic. I love the staff and the patrons that come in. I also love the entertainment that comes in on Thursday and Friday nights. It's a great meeting place, socializing area, and perfect if you have work you need to get done.

I typically work from home, but I'm now between jobs. I went to Kaffee Meister after a long walk. I was pleased to try the Cinnamon Roll Latte and lemon scone. The coffee was hot, freshly prepared and tasty. The scone was also fresh and had a great lemon flavor with a light glaze. There are some great amenities at Kaffee Meister including table for large groups of people and smaller tables for 1 or 2. The outlets! Out so many outlets along the bar. The bar is situated so that you can peer out the window for a change of scenery, or stay focused on your work. Specialty coffee and pastry, just over $10.

Amazing hospitality!! Great coffee!! I forgot my wallet and went to my car to grab it and they said it was on the house!! Will definitely recommend!

Not sure about food. The cookies are good though. And the coffee is great. And they serve the best London fog I've ever had. Service is super friendly. It's very cozy inside but a little cramped for my liking.

The process are not thru the roof like many other places today (Aug 2025) are so that's a big plus. They have seating inside andturn outside with couches as well. Nice! The bathroom is a single for both sexes (yes only two sexes) so you may have to wait a little for your turn. Overall, a great atmosphere with good pricing and courteous friendly staff. One side note that really wasn't too bad: .. my table was just a little sticky.

Super smooth dark fresh roast without being burnt, not overly sweetened, great service, spacious interior, decent parking. Seriously good coffee! They have seasonal coffee specialties and snacks too.

i walked in and the place was super cute it had a really casual vibe to it and the staff was friendly. they also gave me the option to have my drinks in paper or ceramic cups, which is super environmentally conscious and adds to the atmosphere of this place. i ordered the seasonal latte and i was not disappointed.

Nice little coffee shop. The service fast and friendly and the coffee was perfect. The atmosphere was a comfortable and easing place to sit down and have a cup of coffee and hang with some friends. Made my day when she added a little heart to my coffee.

Coffee is really good here, they also have a great selection of really nice teas. They often have live music, I especially love the open mic night. They are friendly and know about coffee. It's a little place, I hope they had a bigger space, but at the same time, you love the small space charm. Highly recommend.

The baristas were friendly and patient with me and my friend while we turned our brains on early in the morning. The food containers were a little hard to open so if you have any issues w/ your fine motor skills or using your hands get a friend to help you!

My wife and I are coffee fanatics that always try locally owned coffee shops when we travel and around home in San Diego. Kaffee Meister is still our favorite coffee shop of all time. It’s so nice that it’s close to home.

So glad there are other places to get coffee drinks beside the chain coffee shops! You have to try the peppermint latte - amazing!! Not much to eat if you low carbing it - but the latte is enough - yummmmm!

Classic coffee spot, fast service and pretty good coffee! Their cold brew sometimes tastes a bit too roasted, but overall I love this place and the little sit down spots they offer (inside and outdoor) Note that it gets pretty packed during lunch time, a lot of college kids doing work

Great coffee house for relaxing with your friends. Their signature drinks and blended drinks are nice. Their espresso is very good. Their drip coffee leaves much to be desired, but taste is subjective anyway. Great place to relax on a Friday night. Sometimes they will have live music. Parking lot is a little claustrophobic and tight, but worth it if you can get parking. The park right behind it is newly renovated and beautiful for a date night or even just an evening stroll with your brew.

Coffee was fine, scone is actually solid but breakfast sandwich ehh. Bacon probably microwaved Bc it’s a chewy mess. Friendly staff though.

Great place with great drinks! Not a very good study environment, though -- there are several distractions. Three stars for that. But: Four stars for the drinks and food! Very good! The prices are a little high for my taste, but they're not quite as bad as Starbucks. My overall review is three-and-a-half stars! This place is pretty nice (as long as you're not planning to get any work done, there). Very cute and great for hangouts with your friends. :)

I really enjoy the environment here, and I like that they have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. However, the quality of drinks is never consistent and the employees move at a very slow pace. I really want to love it here, but they might need more employees or better training. I see so many good reviews, so maybe I go on off days.

Overpriced for the quality of the coffee, which is mid at best. The breakfast sandwich was especially disappointing. Their system of calling out orders is confusing when its busy as they only say the name of the item and not the person, so people can get confused easily if multiple have ordered the same thing. The seating and atmosphere is nice at least.

The coffee is marginal, and selection choices are very limited. The atmosphere is nice and trendy but the coffee (both espresso and drip) are shallow and lack robustness. The staff and the clientele are cold and rude. I much prefer Santee Coffee corner.

Prices have gone up and quality has gone down here. A lot. We used to come here after dropping our son off at school, but Coffee is $20 for a 12oz bag now, and the quality has gone down hard. All of their food has increased in price well above other places, and I can buy better coffee at the grocery store for much less.

The worst service! I've been grabbing my morning coffee for a week now, I live nearby, so it was convenient. But the service just did not improve, so I quit, lol. No "good morning " or "welcome " when you enter, super quick when ordering, sometimes missing details or name. And then today was the peak of it when nobody called my name or even the coffee name when it was ready, and I was sitting in the corner waiting for it. When I came up to ask where is my coffee, I saw it sitting on the counter, warm, not hot anymore. I said should I assume that was my coffee since there wasn't a name on it, the barista said is it lattee, then probably yes. 🤷‍♀️ wth? Oh, and also they never say "have a good day" or anything when you're leaving, several times I sais "thanks and have a good one" ans sid not hear back! What kind of place is this? 😂 $5/12oz coffee should at least come with a smile and basic manners. Do they even have a manager? I doubt that. Btw, coffee is ok, food is terrible.

I tried to place an order to go but they didn’t accept it .. I was down the street like 2 minutes away & they still had 5 or so minutes before they closed. It just added more frustration & confirmation to not go here at all.

Hi, I’ve visited this location multiple times and have always had great experiences, which is why this morning’s interaction was disappointing. Around 11am, the woman working the register was rude and immediately defensive when I ordered a triple shot over ice and asked for it in a large cup. She said, “We can’t do that,” with an attitude and told me the largest size allowed was 12 oz. I explained that I was happy to pay extra for the larger cup, but she continued responding in a defensive and unfriendly way. I completely understand if that’s the policy, but there’s no reason to speak to a customer rudely or create a hostile environment over a simple request. Unfortunately, the interaction made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, and it’s not what I’ve come to expect from this place. Because of that experience, I won’t be returning.
