I went to Los Herreros restaurant in the spring of 2024, and I left delighted. While they were preparing my table, I went over to the bar and saw the tapas display, which looked very appealing. I ordered a small beer and a tapa of Zamora black pudding, which I really enjoyed. I wasn't familiar with that variety and found it very interesting. Once seated on the terrace, I started with rice with lobster. It was truly delicious: the rice was perfectly cooked, not overcooked at all, and the pieces of lobster were actually noticeable, not just for flavor. Next came a ribeye steak, very tender and flavorful, accompanied by salad and fries. The fries, in my opinion, were frozen, which is the only thing I would consider an improvement. But, to be honest, everything was so good that nothing was left on the plate. There was a funny moment with the wine. Since I had to drive, I asked the waiter for some wine with soda water, telling him there was no need to open a new bottle, that an open one would do. He brought me an open bottle of Azpilicueta Crianza 2019, a superb wine. Seeing it, I felt bad about diluting it with soda water, so I returned it unopened and told him I'd moderate my wine consumption, but I couldn't commit such a sacrilege. The waiter understood, and we shared a very pleasant, knowing glance. In short: homemade food, well prepared, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. The price? 26 euros, and it was worth every penny.

Every time we go, the service is excellent. The food is wonderful. And the slice of Spanish omelet we ordered for breakfast was delicious and very large. We always return to this restaurant when we go on vacation. We love it!!!! We're from Barcelona. We hope to return soon 😀 And they allow our dog on the terrace!!!

Fantastic! They served us at 3:30 pm despite it being a bit late and quite busy. The food was delicious, and it's a dog-friendly restaurant; they even offered our dog fresh water. The staff was also very friendly. We'll definitely be back!

A cozy, beautiful place with wonderful staff. We were served by a waitress who was working the bar and setting up tables. She served us with a smile and was very kind and professional. It's appreciated having people who make you feel at home. It was Mother's Day and we ate a spectacular menu with delicious, well-cooked food. Most importantly, we went with our dogs, who were cared for, even with a blanket. Highly recommended, looking forward to returning.

We had the special weekend menu. They offered the children a shared menu, which we appreciated. We ordered scallops, scallop carpaccio, and octopus, followed by grilled steak, ribeye steak, and grilled squid. Everything was delicious. The restaurant was very clean and beautiful. And, because I've seen reviews about the man who served us—who I imagine is the owner—we were delighted with his service. He's the kind of waiter we love to find. You can tell he's been doing this job his whole life. Very professional, attentive to everything, and the service was quick and friendly. I highly recommend it.

Nuestra primera vez desde la reapertura. Llegamos a cenar y nos ofrecieron una carta muy completa y variada. Todo estaba estupendo, pero lo mejor fue la pizza (con masa casera muy rica) y los burritos (potentes y muy sabrosos). Después repetimos para comer el fin de semana. Tienen un menú a 25€ por persona. Está bastante surtido y completo, además, todo lo pedido estaba muy bueno; pero, por ese precio, esperábamos algo espectacular o que los platos fueran más generosos. Mi recomendación es que acudas allí a las cenas para disfrutar de su carta o bien, comer su menú entre semana (bastante más barato). El local lo tienen limpio y cuenta con dos terrazas exteriores. El personal atiende muy bien y saben darle salida al producto. Nos quedamos con ganas de su kebab y los nachos con carne de ciervo, así que, ya tenemos excusa para volver.

Fuimos un poco a la aventura y ha sido todo un acierto, el servicio muy rápido, las camareras muy atentas, la comida casera muy rica y cantidad adecuada. Pedimos el menú del día a un precio de 14€ entre semana. Lo único malo era que comimos en la zona del bar y hacía mucho calor, pero deben tener también un comedor interior.

Fuimos a cenar un sábado, muy bien atendido. Estuvimos en la terraza. Gente amable y simpática. La carta es sencilla, con toques de la tierra. Pedimos pizza y hamburguesa, estaban muy buenas. Sitio recomendable.

We went almost by chance. Considering a menu, it may seem expensive at first, but as soon as you look at the menu and the food, you realize why. The food was very good and the portions were generous. We were very satisfied, and the waitress who served us was very friendly. The French toast for dessert was a hit. If I return to the area, I would definitely go back.

We went on Sunday and the set menu is €28. I ordered lobster rice as a starter, which I didn't like; the rice was overcooked. However, other friends ordered broad beans, octopus, and scallops, and they were delicious. The main courses were all very good: sirloin steak with port wine sauce, grilled squid, entrecote, etc. We didn't particularly like the desserts either. Overall, it was good.

I just loved the food here. This was one of the tastiest pizzas and salads I've eaten. They offer inside and outside dining. Service is friendly and efficient and the prices are good value for money and the meal.

La comida no está mal, pero que un día de diario el menú cueste 19 E y no incluya café....Caro para lo que es y la cantidad. Hay comedor interior pero nos sentaron en la zona de cafetería a pesar de tener reserva.

Se come bien para ser un menú del día,unos platos mejor que otros pero bien en general, pero hay fallos: Hemos comido 2 días, el primer día pedimos tarta de queso de postre 3 personas y nos sirvieron otra cosa,era como un mouse de limón o algo así y nos cobraron 14 euros por persona. 3 días después por el menú del día nos cobran 16 por persona... Están en su derecho de subir el precio y no nos fijamos si lo ponía en el cartel,pero en una misma semana cuanto menos es llamativo...

Cenamos 5 personas a base de raciones, la calidad de la comida buena, pero la cantidad muy escasa en relación con el precio. 6 medias alas 9 euros, las ensaladas pobres, servidas en un cuenco ridículo y 9 euros. Pedimos una ensalada Sanabresa y de los ingredientes que anunciaba solo incluia el queso de cabra y escaso. Relación precio cantidad, nefasto.

Si vas un sábado a comer solo tienen menú y son 25 euros, no dan carta. En relación con el menú calidad precio bastante mejorable, es caro para lo que te dan. El personal un 10 y todos muy majos, solo mejoraría esa parte de comida y el precio tan elevado para lo que dan.

We went because of the reviews, as we were spending a few days in the area. First, we had a drink at the bar since we hadn't made a reservation and had to wait a little while, but the lady who served us was very nice. Then we ordered two set menus, and we were served by a man who, if you think it's possible that he didn't say a word to two diners, well, I'm telling you, it's possible because that's exactly what happened... It was incredibly uncomfortable. He handed us the menu without saying a word and then came to take our order without saying a word. And that's how it was until we left. The set menus had options, but I didn't eat my second course. My steak was fried, not grilled or anything... just fried. It didn't taste good at all, and as a side dish, I don't know how they can serve both dishes with frozen, burnt potato chips from a bag. I find that unacceptable in a restaurant, and they were the last ones in the bag, those small ones that were so hard you couldn't even pierce them with a fork. I don't understand how they can possibly make such dishes. I'm amazed by their claims about how much care they put into everything... My second course disappeared completely. Luckily, I had the first course, and it was fine. The desserts were both different, even though they look the same in the photo I'm going to post. I swear they're different: cheesecake and apple pie. My cheesecake tasted like NOTHING. We'll be back in the area, but not to this restaurant. The two stars are for the service from the owner and for the first courses on the menu.

La experiencia no fue la mejor. La comida resultó bastante básica y se notaba que muchos platos eran precocinados; por ejemplo, el salmorejo parecía de supermercado y la milanesa de pollo con salsa de champiñones nos llegó incluso cruda. Lo que más nos sorprendió fue que no pidieran disculpas, simplemente lo sirvieron como si nada, pese a que el menú cuesta 25 €. Para ser un pueblo tan bonito, creemos que hay opciones mucho mejores. El local tampoco destaca por ambiente o servicio que justifiquen esos precios.

Uno paga por comer no porque te doren la oreja el día antes y luego vuelves y te la meten doblada. Tienen carta con menú a un precio al día siguiente vuelves y paffff!!!! 10€ de incremento en el menú (que locura) y en medio menú sin café te cobran 5€ por el postre.....por favor, es inadmisible. Nada recomendable ( por cierto.... Los aseos pueden tener un mejor o...), no lo aconsejo.

Menú caro (25€ persona) para lo que es, pedimos un Salmorejo Cordobés (sin más) y una milanesa que tuvieron que repetir porque estaba completamente cruda por dentro. Tras pasar 10 minutos volvieron a traer el plato ya sin hambre de lo que me dolía el estómago. No volveremos.

Decidimos cenar ahi y los bocadillos pobres de contenido y sin sabor, las patatas muy caras para ser congeladas una ración 11€

Estuvimos un día y todo nos gustó, el servicio y lo que comimos. Volvimos otro día y ha dido un desastre: nos dijeron que no servían las mesas, entré a la barra a pedir, el camarero preparó las copas para las cañas pero se fue a la cocina y alli estuvo más de 5 minutos. El otro camarero estaba hablando con un cliente y, aunque la camarera le pedia insistentemente la bebida para una mesa, él continuó hablando con el cliente. Finalmente, nos fuimos. Un desastre, como no espabilen y se organicen les auguro un mal futuro. Agosto es el mes que m en Sanabria hay que hacer hucha. Para ello hay que ser profesional (aunque todo se aprende poco a poco) si se pone intencion, ganas, ilusion y voluntad .
