Fantastic location. This part of Sestriere is also within walking distance with a half-hour walk. I recommend going around 6:30 PM, having an aperitivo outside to enjoy the view, and then dining inside at 7 PM. The tagliatelle with venison was average. The tagliatelle with Toma Blu cheese was better. The vegetarian dishes are so-so, not very exciting in flavor. The prices are quite high and the portions are small. To be satisfied, you'll need at least two dishes per person, spending around €50 per person, including wine. There are two evening sittings: from 7 PM and 9 PM.

A little gem with a breathtaking view, but it's a shame it's overpriced for the small portions! The restaurant, with just a few tables and a splendid panoramic view of the mountains, is a little gem in the Sestriere area and its surroundings. The cuisine is traditional, but with a modern twist, with a truly interesting menu and a practically endless wine list. Even though we're not big drinkers, we appreciated the wide selection. The dishes are well-cooked and carefully presented, but I found the portions decidedly small. I'd suggest being a little more generous, especially considering the prices, which otherwise seem excessive for what's offered. For me, the portions were already limited, and I imagine they might be insufficient for a man. For example, the gnocchetti were a truly small portion (little more than a fistful), as was the second course, the goat crepinette, which was the size of a larger meatball (see attached photo). I think it wouldn't cost much to offer slightly larger portions. Other than that, overall, I give it a positive rating. The setting is well-kept, the atmosphere elegant and relaxed. Very pleasant. The staff is courteous and attentive.

Very nice place, nice setting and friendly staff. We had tartare as starter which was very good, as a main course the carbonara with porcini mushrooms. This was definitely too salty and the pasta far too Al dente even for Italian taste. The dessert was ok, pear cooked in wine with ice-cream. It won't be difficult to find better restaurants in the area.

Visited March 2019, food is quite average, we expected a lot more based on the recommendations from our hotel staff and online reviews. The anticipation was increased as getting to the restaurant was in itself a great effort, in the middle of nowhere and no parking. No pics, but the food was very average, notably the lamb chops in hay (very fatty, not rendered, little flavour and pointless inclusion of hay on the plate).

Arriving at this beautiful place in the middle of nowhere, we asked for a bowl for the dog and were rudely told that they don't have any disposable items and that we should have one. We ordered two main courses and were told, "Don't you want anything to share first? It'll take a while, eh?" As if pressured into ordering an appetizer, the main courses arrived, small portions, very fatty lamb chops. When ordering, I asked for a side salad (since there are no side dishes on the menu) and was told that the plate already had salad, and that the kitchen wouldn't allow them to put it on a separate plate, who knows. I'll leave the photos so you can understand the amount of salad (2 leaves). At this price, you'd expect at least more flexibility and polite service, considering that the main course was a €24 dish and there's no Coke Zero, for some unknown reason.
