Had an amazing brunch here over the weekend. The service was great and the food was also delicious. The clams oreganata is a must try! I also highly recommend the cuban panini, very filling. Will definitely be back soon for dinner!

My parents favorite place (and now mine). Excellent waitstaff and hosts. Best and largest portion fish tacos I’ve ever had. The red cabbage slaw was a nice touch. Parents loved the ribs. Oh and how could I forget the grilled octopus to start as a shared appetizer! Oh and get there early to sit outside! Best outdoor seating in Scarsdale. Shh don’t tell anyone 😀

We have eaten at Chat many times over the last few years, however since the pandemic began in mid March we had not returned until this afternoon. Although the weather was a brisk 45 degrees we chose to sit outdoors on their patio. There were at least 15 outdoor propane heaters and we were sandwiched between two enormous ones that gave off a considerable amount of warmth. The waiters were wonderful and both my wife and I had delicious meals. We felt relaxed and grateful that all the staff was masked.

We say outside with friends. Great atmosphere! The porkchop was awesome! The salmon was a bit small but tasty. The octopus margaritas app was delicious but skimpy on the octopus.

I've been coming here for many years, mostly for drinks. However more recently for dinner and have always had a great time. The food is prepared perfectly and plated in an appetizing manner. Specialty drinks are tasteful and never disappoint. Multiple seating options from bar to outdoor provide many options. Staff has always been friendly and attentive.

Stopped here for dinner the other evening with (6) friends. Unfortunately, we were having such a great time that I forgot to snap pics of our dinner plates which consisted: Chef Salad, steak, pork sliders, (2) burgers mixed with angus plates with fries & shrimp with pasta. Dinner was perfect considering we arrived around 9p. The restaurant was very accommodating for our group. Desserts were creme brûlée’s (eaten before I could snap a photo), decaf. cappuccino, Demitasse & a strawberry cheesecake of some sort. My decaf cappuccino was superb, my friends raved about their creme brûlée & strawberry shortcake. The only issue I had was the ladies bathroom was not kept up to par (sticky floor, garbage on floor, wet paper towels on counter for my standards, hence the 4 stars & not 5 stars.

We went to celebrate our anniversary. Just came across Chat in a search. The service was great and the food was excellent. I highly recommend Chat. The French onion soup was delicious, the onions were tender and sweet, and the broth was not salty. It was the best I've ever had. Salmon was fresh and best of all was the Chat Cafe coffee.

Nice atmosphere and seems a favorite in the area. They have heated outside seating but we decided to dine inside. Very busy on a Tuesday evening. Grilled meatloaf was very good. One member of our party didn't feel well and we have to end our dinner earlier than anticipated . The server and manager was very accommodating and tended to our needs. Highly recommended and we will come back again for sure.

The place is a nice pretty restaurant. I went for lunch. It was overpriced for a salad. The special dessert of profiteroles was a lukewarm mess. Not light and airy but heavy churro dough covered in melted ice cream. Argh!!! Please learn how to make a proper profiterole or get it off the menu!

My wife and I took our twin 6 year old grand-daughters here (their favorite restaurant) for dinner on Sunday 9/7. We asked to sit on the patio but was told no but halfway through our meal other parties were seated on the patio. Our waitress ( I won’t mention her name ) seemed to have a bit of an attitude from the start. After the meal was finished and table was cleared our waitress asked if we had room for dessert. I told her no thank-you as the girls had asked to have Carvel on way home. In a very annoyed tone she said, I didn’t need to tell her that. She kind of stormed off, came back with check in hand and grabbed my credit card that I placed on the table without allowing me to take a look at the check. She came back with the credit card slips which I signed and regrettably left a much larger tip than she deserved but I assumed their tips are pooled and I didn’t want to punish the other workers. On our way out she said “enjoy your Carvel” in a very sassy tone. Don’t think we will be going back anytime soon and if we do, that waitress will definitely not be working our table.

Service very slow and forgot items. Salads had no flavor at all and are definitely not worth the price. Drinks are very overpriced as well.Paid eighteen dollars for 1 small cosmo with no alcohol in it. However the Carrot Ginger soup was amazing but even that was $11 for a very small cup. Picture doesn't reflect size since I was hovered over the top

A relatively new restaurant in Scarsdale. The dining experience started off well, Very nice watercress/ pear salad and soup of day (bean soup.) But they missed on their lamb special. Grill heat was too high, and it was way overcharred. Manager redid one lollipop, which was a nice gesture.

I really wanted to like this as a resident of Scarsdale. As someone who also owns restaurant in the city I am a forgiving and understanding guest. We were totally abandoned by our server. Our brunch took almost hour and a half and it wasn’t that busy. The fresh squeezed green juice was just juice of celery so it was very watery. Avocado toast was just so sad and tiny for $20. Probably worst avocado toast I have ever had. I honestly can’t say if I liked anything we ordered. We won’t be coming back.
