Food was very fresh and tasty! Really enjoyed the duck fried rice. Definitely will be back to try more things from the menu.
Did take out for lunch. FOOD was excellent. Haven't had Chinese food this good in years! Looking forward to a dine in experience.
Have driven past this place for years and finally gave it a try. It was so delicious. The orange chicken was tender and actually used white meat, the sauce was delicious, and the cocktail I got was so reasonably priced. Definitely going to add this restaurant into my regular rotation.
Buddha Asian Bistro was absolutely delicious. The prices were reasonable, the menu felt endless, and the service truly stood out. Our waitress was attentive, fast, and on top of everything from start to finish. The food presentation was beautiful, and more importantly it delivered on flavor. Highlights: • Pisces sushi roll: really, really good • Spicy tuna gyoza: delicious • Sea urchin oyster shooter: very interesting and worth trying at least once • Wonton soup: comforting and well-done • Honey ribs: fell right off the bone (just watch out for some fatty pieces) • Rock shrimp: solid and satisfying They also have an extensive drink menu, which makes it a great spot for dinner and cocktails. Overall, excellent food, great service, and a well-priced menu. I would definitely go back.
This spot was absolutely amazing. The staff were attentive and they knew how to give quick recommendations. The food came out piping hot! It was all seasoned very well. The atmosphere was so posh and very unique. But very well done. Like upscale but you can dress casual. It was in a really good location. Parking was a bit challenging but it was fine once you do. I thought that the menu had some great options! I really enjoyed and will bring others and come back!
Went here for a graduation/birthday celebration. Everything was wonderful. The atmosphere was wonderful. The area they sat our large group was semi secluded and had wonderful lighting (sun) for pictures. They were also accommodating when we needed an extra table. The service was exceptional!!! Mai was so patient, wonderful, and knowledgeable. She handled 15 people with ease! I will definitely return. The food was good. There were some hiccups with a couple dishes but they fixed it re made the dishes and 10/10
Great place to eat! Asian variety sushi, Chinese food, boil, and more! Full service bar and close to mini mall. Nice if you are staying at Hilton Garden Inn in Dobbs Ferry. Amazing food and service. My husband and I love to stop in after church or for date night. He loves sushi and I love a good boil. It's a match made in heaven with great appetizers and supplements if we want a little more. The servers are good and food is fast and hot. I always forget to take a picture of my food. Oolong tea is always piping hot and strong...
We tried Buddha again this past weekend and they maintained the high quality of food and service. We were promptly seated by a very pleasant lady and then greeted by another very pleasant and engaging man, who was our server. He was personable and knowledgeable about the foods and degrees of spice and all. Our appetizers were served hot and they were tasty -- we had pork fried dumplings, fried shrimp, calamari, which was excellently prepared and vegetable tempura. Amazing! Our entrees - I tried something new, the mango pork, and it was delicious but a bit doused in too much mango sauce, I wanted to taste the flavor of the pork rather than the mango. The overall experience was unmatched even the playlist was spot on! This location never disappoints. There is also plenty of parking as well.
I visited Chauncey Square every time I passed from Sawmill Parkway to upstate. This time, I decided to eat something different other than usual Chipotle, and I didn't regret it. Food was served quickly, and the portion was just right for my appetite. The place was nice and clean.
This rather empty boite is beautifully appointed. The food is well done, the staff good, the WiFi fast. The dumpling sampler was disappointing, but the plum wine was excellent, and the kung pao chicken was good. The rice should be fresher, so it isn't tough. The fact that they also serve a separate crab seafood menu is bizarre but welcoming. It is essentially two restaurants in one.
Amazingly good quality sushi and sashimi. The food was delicious and high quality. Service was also very good. Highly recommended if you like sushi and sashimi. Update: visited one more time but this time the service was severely compromised. The server didn’t bother to come back to our table to ask if we needed anything.
In April of 2022, I brought and treated my wife and myself for dinner at the Buddha Asian Bistro. Both my wife and myself were kindly welcomed by the restaurant’s staff and we were quickly given a table after arriving. Our main entrees were promptly made, and was quickly served to us I had ordered a very tasty and well seasoned sesame chicken meal and my wife ordered a highly scrumptious tofu based meal. Our meals were highly mouth watering and terrifically satisfying!!! Both my wife and I highly recommend for everyone to visit and dine at this great restaurant!!!
This place was very nice, the staff was great and the food was delicious. I ordered the crispy duck rolls and they were excellent. My partner went for the calamari and that was "Okay" in his words. Everything on the menu sounded great and I was torn between some noodles or curry. I ended up with the curry shrimp which my picture may not have done justice to how good it tasted. My partner went for the hibachi steak and enjoyed the char. Overall we had a great time.
Dinner experience on a Friday evening. The restaurant is pretty big and we did not need a reservation. Table was comfortable. Service was quick.... maybe too quick. Table wait staff did not welcome us or introduce themselves and did not make any small talk. Just came over to take order. The menu should have enough options for everyone. We ordered a calamari starter, which had a good flavor, but the calamari itself was a bit chewy. I ordered the Mongolian beef, which I enjoyed. We also ordered a couple of rolls, which were good (standard). There are a few more items on the menu I would like to try. There is free parking available in a couple of lots around the retail area.
The staff was very nice. The place was clean and parking was easy. There was no wait but we went there on a Monday night around 7p.m. The sushi were good, I cant remember them all but i got a spicy girl and dragon one My friends ordered the rest and house special fried rice which was good. I would come back here.
Buddha Asian Bistro, Dobbs Ferry N.Y. (saw mill river pkwy) If your in the neighborhood give this bistro a try, your palette won't disappoint you. They offer wonderful Peking duck,(half or whole )with pancakes, scallions, hoison, also rock shrimp ( similar to grand marnier sauce) beef chow fun was tender and delicious, har gow dumplings and fried pork dumplings was delicious, wonton soup had a light chicken broth with wonton noodle (light texture)and the beef, shrimp chicken fried rice was delicious.and spare ribs was tender and delicious. The only disappointment was the shui mei ( this is not homemade)They also offer Japanese sushi .so if you want to satisfy your palette give this bistro a try.
This was near the Hilton I was at so I just walked here. The variety of food this place offers is crazy but not everything was good. I had dinner here twice and the Thai curry was not that great. The curry flavor was just not there, if they put more flavor and made it more spicy it would’ve been great. The sushi roll was ok. The miso soup was good. The roasted duck was good but the portion was way too tiny. It was definitely not half a duck or it was tiny baby duck. The servers were very nice.
It is more a Asian Fusion "CUISINE....$" with quite elaborate decorations. Sushi and Hibachi were good but the "Thai Curry chicken" was a disappointment for me. The chicken pieces seems to be just dropped into the very bland Thai coconut curry sauce at the last minute. There's not much taste to the meat itself. Services were good and there are ample of parking.
We wanted to like this place because Asian food is slightly scarce in these parts. We wanted to, but this place left a lot to be desired. The wait staff are completely overwhelmed. They are consistently running around trying to keep up with everything, but it harms the experience. Everything else was fine— food, decor. The dumplings were great actually. I would probably stay away just because it’s not worth the stress.
We really wanted to love this place. The restaurant was so beautiful and spacious. We absolutely loved the art. The appetizers came out really fast and so did the drinks. For appetizers, we had the rock shrimp, which was very delicious and saucy; and also had the Vietnamese spring rolls, which really lacked in flavor. We asked for a recommendation of red wine and were served white wine - which, was fine, we didn’t want to make a big deal out of it. The food came, I ordered a salmon hand roll and our server, Shaw, brought out an order of salmon roll (which are 2 different things,) she said whether we eat it or not, she wouldn’t charge us, so we left it on the table and only had 2 pieces, it wasn’t that good. The Lady Gaga was the hype pf the night, well, so we were expecting. It was a tempura roll, but it lacked flavor and was fishy. The salmon hand roll was really good, it reminded me of Japanese onigiri, which I love! We also ordered one scallop sashimi, which was very delicious and an octopus sashimi, which I didn’t like the texture from here. The best thing was the mei fung noodles, it was very delicious and flavorful. Before we finished eating, the waiters were trying to take our plates. They even brought a box for our sushi before asking if we were finished eating. There were several desserts options unavailable, which was fine. We kept giving this place the benefit of the doubt and didn’t make an issue with anything. When we received our bill, we were charged for the salmon roll, it was only $6.50, however, we were told we wouldn’t be charged. Shaw (the waiter) blatantly looked at us and said “you ate the sushi so I charged you.” Which was ridiculous. If it wasn’t for my little cousin’s birthday, we would have asked to speak to someone higher up, but we simply said okay, and left an honorable tip because, maybe, just maybe, she was having a bad day & we like to be kind, to everyone. This experience, however, was not the best for us. We would not recommend, nor would we go back. Check out my food page on instagram for more reviews/places to go! @eatwithaprasad
Great Time & Budda, food was ok, service however needs to step up. We waited a third of our time there. Instead of getting the check our waiter got his dinner, cool understandably, I asked the next server & he proceeds to his dinner, lol, a Twilight Zone moment. There's no hibachi table!!! Food was OK, we've had a lot better. Not crowded at all, that's why I found it odd that the men's room bathroom was disgusting. I said to the family, hope no one' has to go. My sister had same issue in the ladies room. Again not crowded so with all the staff walking around doing nothing, have someone responsible for sanitary & safety, geez! So points off for service & cleanliness. Yea, here's some pics, but I ain't going back. Sad to because it was our first time there & we live in the area, would've been nice.
The food is not fresh and they have gone downhill in good customer service. The shrimp was fishy. Not fresh. They used to serve 8 jumbo shrimps in the wok style dish. Now it's 7 and smaller size. Ginger dressing tasted so watery. Not good! We waited a long time before waiter took our order. It was strange because he disappeared for long periods of time! I will not go back again. Ugh!
