I love the macaroni salad so much, and one of the breakfast burritos, and most of the doughnuts! Whichever fake steak is being used here is a bit funky. Tried it twice and it's sweet with an odd texture. Everything else I've had has been good.

this is easily one of my favorite places in downtown as an out of state union student. food is delicious, coffee is BOMB, and everyone that works here is so sweet and the overall vibe of the place is just amazing. if you’re from around here or just visiting, i cannot recommend this place more. also the music is just too good <33

OMG everything here is so good!! I had the spicy southwest omelette with corn pepper bread and was so happy. Seasoned perfectly, ripe avocados and the bread was an unexpected treat. I bought one of the desserts for later, I think it was the espresso bar. Definitely coming back for seconds before I fly out!

What a superb place to have a meal! My wife and I are both vegan, and we love finding plant-based cafes to enjoy some tasty food. Take Two Cafe was awesome. Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. It’s a small place, and all the tables were taken. No biggie, the person who warmly greeted us and took our order assured us that a table was opening up soon. We ordered tea and coffee (both tasty), and had some food. Bacon egg and cheese on a bagel, Mac Wrap, and a Curry Chicpea wrap. Waited a few minutes, and sure enough, a table opened up. Sat a few more minutes sipping coffee, and our food was delivered to our table. Remember: all vegan. The bacon egg and cheese bagel was scrumptious. The Mac Wrap was perfect; BBQ seitan, Mac and cheese, slaw, and tastiness was all wrapped up together. Served with chips and a pickle. Soooo good. My wife had the curry chickpea wrap and said it was amazing. It was served with a side of potato salad. She loved it. We sat and chatted over our meal, and the server checked in on us once. Perfect. After our lunch, we picked up some desserts to bring home. It. Was. All. Amazing. All told, lunch was $50.00 for three plates and two hot bevvies. Add another $17 for the desserts at the end. We left super happy, satisfied, and talking about how we can’t wait to come back. EVEN IF YOU ARE AN OMNIVORE, you owe it to yourself to come and try this cafe. It’s awesome with a super chill vibe and delicious food!

My wife is vegan, so it's difficult when traveling to find a place where she can actually have a whole menu to choose from. Found Take Two while traveling back to Connecticut from our long weekend. Easy to get to off the highway, parking wasn't bad, but it is a Sunday Could be difficult during the week. Food was very good and the staff was really friendly. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Not a lot of tables My only recommendation would be to have a restroom for customers and more outside seating. Seems like a nice downtown area.

Absolutely awesome. I'm vegetarian, not vegan, but it was amazing to have a place where every sandwich on the menu was friendly to my diet. My boyfriend who doesn't follow any special diets said the potato salad was better than real potato salad with dairy and eggs. High praise, and I agree. The Oreo bar was absolutely stellar also, I'd eat here every week if I could.

Such an amazing menu here, was a tough decision picking what to eat. I went with the Triple decker w/ Chipotle pot salad. My wife go the Reuben w/ Mac & cheese. Everything was just busrting with fresh flavors. Highly recommend checking this spot out if in the area and hungry. Also have top notch sweets as well. Got the maple pecan pie and nutter butter cheesecake 😋 nothing disappointed here.

Great vegan spot with lots of menu choices and awesome baked goods! NOTE: Minus 0.25 ⭐ for having no customer bathroom; definitely a negative to relaxing there when you've had a large coffee.

This cafe is my favorite place for vegan food in the entire area, the food can only be described as scrumptious and the desserts are delicious as well as irresistible. The staff is always so welcoming and sweet, I couldn't really ask for more from a place! My meal recommendation is the classic burger, pictured in this review.

Never in my life would I have expected Schenectady of all places to have a 100% vegan spot, but Chelsea took the chance and has created something really special for us all, with Square One and now with Take Two, where she has really come back with a vengeance. The food here is just excellent. Their biscuits are perfect. The chipotle potato salad is my favorite side. Ya gotta love that they’ll put just about anything in a Crunchwrap. And you just feel good supporting them, because you’re always welcomed by pleasant human beings.

I want to enjoy the food more because it’s an awesome restaurant with really sweet people running it. It’s all vegan which is amazing! I’ve found that the execution of some of the dishes fall flat for me. I’d say mostly because of the salt. I have no issues with salt on my food but I’ve had multiple items that have all tasted overly salty to the point where it ruins what could have been a really good sandwich, wrap etc. I also really want to love the sweets more but they aren’t super well balanced and end up being just super sweet. Like I said this is an awesome place and this is just my experience so please go try for yourself as the woman who owns it and her employees are absolutely lovely and I want the business to thrive for a long time but wanted to share my experience.
