Food was outstanding ! Service was excellent ! Owner made sure all of his guests were happy and satisfied, very personable, he made sure we had a great time!!
Wonderful food, beautiful atmosphere snd the best espresso martini I’ve ever had! I would recommend make a plan to go to Vice and Virtue soon.
Nice new place friendly people our server was Amy . The food was so good I now need a nap prices were reasonable . I will defiantly come back and try dinner
The food is so flavorful. You must have the soups! The staff are very friendly and it's a great atmosphere.
The food was delicious! Service was excellent and the vibe was great! Congrats to Julie and Timmy! Love the place!
The drinks are delicious! Get the Paloma. But forget everything and just get the burger and fries, you will thank me later 🙌
Outstanding evening! Great food and wonderful drinks! We will definitely be coming back.
Great food, staff, and vibe. Everytime I have gone, it's been a great experience 👏🏽
Food and service were outstanding! Server was very friendly. Tim and Jules are always very accommodating and go out of their way for their clientele.
Very good bourbon cocktails; they deserve luxardo cherries. Cauliflower appetizer and Mojo Chicken Thighs were excellent. It was only the 4th day of their being in open, so the service hadn't quite totally got its legs underneath itself yet, but no major complaints. Had a nice chat with the owner, Tim, and the chef, Chris. We'll be back!
Finally a fun and upscale place in Schenectady fresh food, fresh vibe. The steaks were great, the watermelon Moscow mule was fire. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, can't wait to go back
Had a great Thursday night listening to Bands on Broadway. We were well taken care of by a great waitress, Lekina. Thank you.
absolutely amazing place. the staff here are the best people i’ve ever met and the food is amazing….i come here every weekend and it never disappoints!
We recently had a bridal shower here. The food was phenomenal. Julie was very easy to work with and everyone was very pleased. Highly recommend!
Very stylish! We will miss the. shepherd’s pie of Pinhead Susans but the dirty chicken thighs app. and pulled brisket sandwich was excellent. We really enjoyed everything we ate.
Delicious! Started with the Peanut butter and jelly Wings . Our entrees were delicious, definitely recommend the burger and chicken burger! Very good food and service, very fun environment. Highly recommended
Went after work to celebrate a birthday with a group of colleagues. First time there- won’t be last. Amazing atmosphere, service was on point, drinks were delicious and food was good! Will bring my hubby there!
OMFG WHERE DO I START Irish ice tea was unbelievable Tomahawk pork chop was on point Steak was cooked to perfection Parsnip puree was soo good!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YOU DONT LIKE THIS YOU DONT LIKE FOOD I was a cook for 25 years! The service from this kitchen was top notch!!
Love this place! Drinks amazing! Blackjack burger handout fries terrific. Will be back Wednesday $12 burger night gourmet. To die for!
I stopped in to check out the new atmosphere and was very pleased with all the change since the last time I had been to the establishment before the revamp. Love Love Love it!! Definitely a great place to stop and grab a bite to eat or cocktail at the end of a long day 😊
Best burgers ever! Mother daughter night. Live music very nice. Drinks fantastic! I will be back. Customer service and atmosphere was great!
The food was excellent!! The cocktails were lovely. Couldn't have asked for a better or more attentive staff! This is officially a new favorite!
This Place Is A Hidden Gem, Staff & Everyone There Is Very Professional. Food & Drinks Are Absolutely Amazing! They Go Above & Beyond! Check It Out!
The grilled cheese and tomato soup was excellent
Amazing new restaurant with a great food selection, service and atmosphere. Greeted by the owner Tim as we walked in, the bar tender Matt was phenomenal and food was delicious. Looking forward to going back.
Absolutely amazing food! . Beautiful, upscale restaurant. Owners and staff were smiling, happy to help and fun to be around. Off street parking. Cannot wait to go back ❤️❤️❤️
Love what they did with the place! The patio is amazing and great vibes all Around
First time here, and what a great dinner! Loved the menu ! Creative, delicious food. From drinks to appetizers, to the entrees and desserts, everything was excellent! We are total foodies, and what a breath of fresh air this place was! Owner even opened the door for us as we were leaving, and thanked us for coming in. Old school manners and hospitality as I like to say! And …we can’t say enough good things about our server RITA! She was personable, attentive, funny, and a genuinely nice person. Can’t wait to go back. Said to my wife, “ I think we found our new favorite place!”
Absolutely loved my visit to this new bar! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure our glasses were never empty. The cocktail menu was creative and the drinks were expertly crafted. The attention to detail in both the drinks and the service makes this bar a standout.
The waitress was excellent. The atmosphere was good . The food was different tasting, not some of the best of my liking.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars! As someone born and raised in downtown Schenectady I’m glad to see the old pinheads revitalized and turned into the space it is now! Great happy hour menu, the specials are incredible as well as the rest of the menu with everything being made in house down to the sauces. The service was great and the staff is very polite and attentive! Cannot wait to come back!
Tonight was our first time at the restaurant, and it was decorated beautifully. Bold but not overstated. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The host was very accommodating letting us change our table from a high top to a regular table. Thanks for an awesome dinner.
Wow!!!! Jessica was our bartender. The drinks were phenomenal. We had the apple pie on the rocks, will not disappoint!! Somehow, the food is better than the drinks! 10/10. You have to come here. Thank you Jessica!
Quick and kind service, cold beer & delicious tacos (particularly the carnitas and shrimp)! An awesome local spot. Definitely recommend!
This restaurant has an amazing atmosphere, the food was absolutely delicious and the staff is always such a pleasure. always so welcoming and the best time!!
Too many amazing sounding cocktails on the menu to choose, not a bad complaint to have! We'll have to go back to try more! Didn't try the food, but the atmosphere was great and they had live music that was also really quite enjoyable!
Food was very good and it's a nice update on the old Pinhead Susan's. On the downside, the ambient noise in the main dining room/bar made it hard to converse. The back room is likely better. Sound panels are planned so the noise might be a short-term issue. Easy parking with public lots (free in the evening) across the street. Thai Dirty Thighs were great!
Great server! Teddy was an amazing, friendly, and very attentive even though she was busy. Food was incredible, we had the wings Thai thighs(too crispy for my liking but sauce was incredible) , both the daily and house soups, steaks, pork chop and risotto. Crème brûlée and cheesecake deserts all 10/10
My wife and I had lunch there today. Friendly service and great food. We were impressed. My wife had the Thai Butternut Squash Bisque and the Crab and Squash Fritters with curry sauce appetizer. She loved both. I had the Sicilian Burger with sweet potato fries. The goat cheese and garlic aioli pushed it over the top. We didn't have room for dessert, but plan to return for the carrot cake and the pistachio cake. If you want good food this is a place to come.
I’ve been meaning to come here since it opened . Finally Thursday evening myself and two of my friends decided to go to dinner here. We were so impressed. The restaurant is gorgeous, chic and fun . The service was amazing. The food was as phenomenal and the owner/manager even came and spoke to us . Took a shot with us and was a joy to meet . I had bottle neck clams, a soup with squash and scallop, and the surf &turf. When i tell you the only complaint I had was I didn’t want the night to end . It was full of good food, drinks and vibes . I will be back ASAP ! So glad we have this gem in Schenectady.
Upon starting by night, I was greeted by a very lovely woman. She walked me to the bar and explained to me the amazing amenities. This restaurant had to offer. I was extremely happy when the bartenders were absolutely on top of things as they brought me my drink within the first minute of me sitting down. I was attentive and excited about the entire experience. The owner walked up to me and gave me a wonderful compliment about how me and my friend were excited about some local things happening in the area. Additionally when the food came out, it was unbelievable. I got the steak sirloin. It was caught up and it was cooked to perfection. When my bartender dropped off the check she was happy excited and very, very pleasant. I left her a wonderful tip and this restaurant is an option . I think every person living in the local area should experience.
A really great experience. Temperature and texture on everything was spot on. Dirty Thai chicken thighs were so crispy and hot, with an excellent vinegar slaw. Cheesesteaks were served on crusty bread, the shaved steak was tender and toppings were excellent. Fresh cut fries were also crispy as they should be.
Really nice spot. The atmosphere is great. Staff and bartenders are nice and attentive. I really like the live music and DJ sets. My friends come here often. I appreciate the vibes
Great food! Great service from Jai and the other bartender. Very cold beer! The shrimp tacos were delicious! Also got the mother clucker last time and that was fantastic as well.
10 out of 10 highly recommend!! My husband and I dined at Vice & Virtue on our 1 year anniversary trip through New York. The meal was phenomenal! Hannah, our waitress was so kind and helpful. It truly was a perfect dining experience.
Came here on a Saturday night. I ordered one the weekend specials which was half a Smoked chicken, mashed potatoes, baked beans and a jalapeño biscuit. The chicken was nice and flavorful, definitely got the smokey flavor and wasn’t dry at all. Mashed potatoes were nice and the baked beans good but wish I knew there was bacon in them as I don’t eat bacon and had to pick it out. Our waitress was nice and attentive. Only weird thing was felt like everyone was seated in a back room which was full, but when we left the rest of the place was pretty empty. I would recommend and plan on coming back!
Absolutely FANTASTIC experience from the moment we first walked in the door until we left with our full bellies. I took my father figure and his partner of 37 years out on a night on the town. They are well-known foodies with impeccable taste and high expectations. Both of them were blown away by their meals. The presentation was thoughtful and visually appealing, the flavors were imaginative and striking. The staff was so welcoming, friendly and fun. This was a Saturday night outing, so the place was quite busy but we never felt overlooked or neglected, as everyone was very attentive, polite and prompt in reacting to our requests. The main ingredient that made this night memorable was the palpable atmosphere of love, acceptance and "good vibes" all around. I believe this is what makes Vice&Virtue a very special place with exciting future in the Capital Region. Come and make memories at this awesome venue! Highly recommend: 11 out of 10! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Had a fantastic evening here. Thought we were going to Pinhead Susan's for dinner and didn't realize that it was now Vice and Virtue and that it got a major upgrade. Great service, great food, and great drinks... Highly recommend!
Top to bottom excellent. Food, service, atmosphere and ownership all 5 stars. A must try from a drink, quick bite, to a full dinner. Artichoke Bruschetta is a shining star.
Nice patio. Wednesday burger night specials. Beautiful inside now that its reopened.
Embarking on a second visit to Vice and Virtue during its first week of operations was an enchanting experience. As you cross the threshold, it becomes immediately evident that this is a realm shaped by the hands of an experienced visionary. The meticulously designed decor, complete with an impressive bar backdrop, welcoming bar stools that promise comfort and conversation, and strategically placed tables, sets the stage for a great experience. Upon entry, the friendly hosts guide you seamlessly into the heart of Vice and Virtue. Our dining experience began at the bar. The evening's libations included velvety chocolate martinis, a commendable house Cabernet Sauvignon, and a vibrant vodka and club soda with a twist of orange. The chocolate martinis stood out, vodka, chocolate liquor, Irish cream, shaved chocolate and a swirl of chocolate decorating the martini glass - a decadent find from the after-dinner cocktail selection. Although the specifics of the Cabernet eluded me, its character did not; it was a pleasure to savor, with a bouquet that was invitingly fragrant, a body that was satisfyingly robust, and a delicate balance of cherry and oak notes. Our culinary journey commenced with the half charcuterie board, an artful assembly of smoked salmon, the refined Grana Parmigiana, succulent capicola ham, whipped pub cheese, alongside classic focaccia bread and crackers. Complemented by salami and Swiss cheese, a good start to our meal. The Thai butternut squash scallop bisque, an exotic blend that married the sweetness of butternut squash with the warmth of ginger, creating a dish that was as inventive as it was comforting. The main event was shared between my wife and myself: the Royal Flush strip steak and an imaginative butternut squash risotto. The steak, served in succulent slices that had been allowed to rest to perfection, was a masterclass in seasoning and juiciness, elevated by a Vidalia onion compote. The risotto is rich with a balance of flavor from roasted shiitake mushrooms, Grana Parmigiana, candied pecans, and fried leeks. The evening was a symphony of good food, service, and great company, setting a high bar for future visits. Vice and Virtue not only lives up to its name but also its brand promise, offering a sanctuary where the culinary arts meet heartfelt hospitality and at a reasonable price. Under the stewardship of Mr. Tim Rankins and his team, one is not just a guest but a member of the Vice and Virtue family. Until next time.

Absolutely loved my experience at vice and virtue! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a cozy dinner. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, ensuring that we felt right at home. Now, onto the food—every dish we ordered was a masterpiece. The flavors were bold and perfectly balanced. I highly recommend trying the pit try (can’t beat chefs meat), which was a standout with its delightful combination of ingredients. To top it off, the dessert was heavenly! It was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. I can't wait to return and explore more of the menu. Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!
The food was excellent! The service was great! Such a wonderful experience! I highly recommend Vice and Virtue for a date night or family treat. The prices are so reasonable, too!
We stopped in after a show at Proctors Thursday afternoon. We were very impressed with our dinner. The Thai butternut soup was very tasty and worth ordering. The bruschetta had nice flavors and delicious. We both ordered shrimp and beef tacos and enjoyed them as well. The service was attentive. They had a happy hour at the bar worth checking out. We will definitely be returning,
Went for Ketchup. Beautiful bar, love the BIG mural. Bartenders were on point and security was actually nice

We love that this place opened recently! Love the clams. Slim and Chris always make us feel welcome. Staff is hardworking and friendly.
Wait staff was attentive and very nice, food was incredible especially the Thai Butternut squash scallop soup! Bar service was a little slow but the food and staff made up for it plus they are sooo new and are BUSY! Hope to come back soon
This was my first time here. There was an event going on, and hard to gage what its like otherwise. We would try it again for sure. Good atmosphere.
New restaurant for us to try. First impression was very nice atmosphere. Our drinks were made very well. We order just main entree’s. The Salmon was excellent but the portion was small. I had the Delmonico steak which I ordered medium but came out a little more done.
Food was very good, Shrimp Tacos and Rice were awesome, also got the Pineapple Chilli smoked wings sauce and Bleu Cheese were great but wings were a overcooked and a bit dry for my liking, but I still ate em all.
Bam was great at the bar. She’s super nice and helpful and made me a great drink!! However, the seats are the absolute worst. I’m short and sink down and feel like a child barely able to reach the counter. Even tall people I know feel like a child from the seats sinking down. I’m sure nice seats that mush down far less are available for purchase. Those seats NEED TO GO!!!!!!
I live in the neighborhood but recently stopped in for the 1st time. The food was delightful, the waitress was charming and the atmosphere was great. I cannot wait to go back to try more food (I had crab cakes and shrimp scampi and chocolate cream pie). If you like chocolate martini’s you will love theirs!
Very busy Atmosphere, not really intimate oriented. However very clean, elegant yet rustic Atmosphere, very friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt service. Food was Absolutely Scrumptious A+ We went on Restaurant week and the 3 Course Meal Selections were Very Affordable, Delicious Choices and such a great way to acquaint Patrons to a new Restaurant ! 👍 Definitely would Recommend.
I had Mojo Chicken thighs and my husband had Chicken Caprese. I thought food was just okay, little blunt and not so flavorful but my husband loved his and mine, so my opinion is really personal preference I would say. This is a big restaurant so maybe you can just walk in on Friday Saturday for dinner to take a table. Update on May 22 2025 The menu changed and they added more interesting. We had pasta, chicken salad cups, and croquettes. They were all good 👍 I upgraded from 4 stars to 5 stars.

I've been here a few times. The food has been good and so has the service with the possible exception of how long I have had to wait for food some nights. Be aware that the rice and beans with the tacos are bbq baked beans which I find odd, but still tasted fine. The fish tacos are salmon instead of cod or haddock, and they were good. Be aware there is a 4% surcharge if you pay with a card, which is mentioned on the menu. Someone else complained about not getting happy hour pricing, but everything I've seen makes it clear it's only at the bar and high tops.
So I was at this location when it was previously Pinhead Susan's, and it's a big change in decorations, which is great. The service was attentive. The restaurant was clean, but I went for the Thursday night event, which was out on the patio. I would have given higher atmosphere stars, but due to there being a bunch of selfish people who wanted to smoke marijuana in an area they're not supposed to be smoking, it became annoying. Security was trying their best to tell people to stop smoking, but of course, selfish as they are, they continue to sneak and still keep smoking. Like a bunch of children sneaking cookies out of a cookie jar. Now, the peanut butter and jelly chicken wings that were made they were not good. They came out very hard. I sent them back, and another batch was made for me. I'm not a fan of dry hard chicken. Even the second batch was the same way.

The meal was delicious, but the serving size was small for the price. Also, the house wine was ridiculously overpriced!
My husband and I were looking forward to going there. We prefer to eat at the bar, but the bar there is high and the chairs are low. Both my husband and I felt like we needed booster seats. Bartender was not very attentive. I got the chicken Reggies flavor wise was very good, but they were cold. Probably will not go there again.
Food was okay, lacked that WOW factor and real flavor, unfortunately underwhelming to say the least. The service was not the best due to it being so new, so I did my best to be polite with the waitress although she was struggling. She apologized many times, for her lack of knowledge with it being her first day. We waited 40 minutes for our second round drinks. There were many people working and could tell she was struggling, including who I believe to be the owners. They did give us a complimentary drink for the 5 of us to share which was nice. I will definitely return in the couple months once they work out some of these growing pains, to give it a second chance. I just was so a little shocked because of all the positive reviews.
They have a bit to figure out about timing. Food was good and came out hot. The problem was order the food came out. Never got our appetizer she told us it was coming but already had our dinner. Told her to cancel it and she wasn't very pleasant about it. Two of us got our soup and salad and the third person never got it. Asked about it and he got it after the dinner came out. The place looks very nice inside . Hopefully they figure out the kitchen
Beware the sneaky Happy Hour Special. "2-for-1 Cocktails. Excludes top shelf" The very tasty Figgie Smalls was not included. Apparently Makers Mark (the whisky in the Figgie Smalls) is considered Top Shelf (it was actually on bottom shelf). Jack Daniels/Jim Beam I could have in my Manhattan were considered not-top-shelf and on shelf next to Makers. They also brought out unwritten rules about which menu cocktails qualify and which don't. Also, the bartender/waitress stated that 2-for-1 applies to 1 person... meaning that even if under single tab, if the 1 person didn't have two qualifying cocktails, too bad. They did honor the Happy Hour food pricing. Overall food was just "OK". The Figgie Smalls was very good. The servers were friendly, until they had to explain the weird, unwritten, and non-obvious rules their establishment imposes. They got the manager. She comp'd one of the 5 cocktails we paid for (which was approx same price as the figgie smalls). Manager said she's been meaning to fix the menu to make it clear what is/isn't included in the HH pricing which tells me, this problem isn't new.
First time here as we go out to eat before a show at Proctors. We had reservations at 6:00 and we're seated promptly. This place is noisy, so don't expect a quiet romantic dinner. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. I was quite shocked and disappointed when our server started with a long list of all the items they were out of. It's only 6 pm and there were 6-8 items not available including their signature soup which I was looking forward to. My stuffed shrimp was good, but the shrimp were not very large and the stuffing was a tiny scoop. Others in my party said the food was fine, but not exceptional. The prices are high in my experience and did not live up to the food. We've been to many restaurants in Schenectady and this one disappointed.
Hoping Vice is just working thru some kinks. Cool location but was expecting a little more music and more cocktail selections as it's a cocktail lounge. Appetizers were amazing but entrees left a little to be desires. My Surf n Turf skewers has 2 small pieces of what appeared to be stew beef and 2 small shrimp. Our server disappeared mid meal and was replaced by a much friendlier waitress, but wrong drinks were given due to the swap. My friends margaritas was also not able to be drank.

Wings came late (cold to luke warm). Brushetta was ok and the tuna aioli was dry. Drinks were good tho!
The service at Vice + Virtue is good, however the food leaves something to be desired. I got fish tacos and they were okay, but my side of “beans and rice” ended up being baked beans mixed with rice? Never seen that before and I never want to again.

My biggest complaint is that the bartender didn’t want to serve me my 1st (and only) drink of the night because she thought I “already had too much”. It was very rude and on top of that their drink prices are comparable to NYC drinks when we’re in downtown Schenectady
For a cocktail bar in Schenectady the prices were a bit high for the drinks. I ordered the Mojito and it was served in a Blue Moon beer glass that was 95% ice. The club soda used was completely flat. The drink tasted like iced lemon water. The pasta was half undercooked that it was actually hard. Interior looked nice but terrible acoustics, better sound dampening would help.
Disappointed! Decided to try this new venue. Service was not great. Our first bartender, Bridget was amazing. However, the person that replaced her on shift was less than a tent. I’ve spent more time down at the end of the bar with the workers than he did paying attention to customers. The food was mediocre at best for the price. Will not be coming back.
***TLDR: Hot, weird smell, waited 65 minutes for our food (a burger and a salad) bad experience with allergy.*** I have a gluten allergy so I called head to ask about options, I was told "every menu item has a gluten free option". Usually this statement is a red flag but the person I spoke to was convincing. At the place, I asked the hostess and waiter, same stock answer "everything can be made gluten free". Alas, after I placed my order, the waiter returned to tell me the only GF options were select salads or a a bunless burger, no fries. I'm not even convinced those options are celiac safe. I paid $18 and waited over an hour for a beef patty alone on a plate. Definitely not prepared to deal with allergies and intolerances. Worse even, they claim to cater to these medical needs with no regard to the health of customers- only their wallets.
Went there last weekend with my partner around 9. Wanted to sit at a table but was told I had to order my drinks at the bar, which I found odd for the "up scale vibe" I thought they were going for, but okay. As i was waiting for my drinks, the cook came from the BOH asking quit loudly, if he could shut the kitchen down. So now I feel as if I can not order food even though ur website states ur open till 11 and not stating kitchen closes earlier than that. So scratch the food idea, we will just have a drink. Which IMO, could have been much better. My partners margarita tasted horrible in all honesty. The last thing I am to comment on is the decor. I was so very confused. I thought this was supposed to be a classy place, but instead, I got "I don't know what kind of restaurant I want to be" vibe. Even the music was an odd choice. I was extremely uncomfortable and most likely won't be back
Place had a funky smell which takes away from the look. The drinks were not good and it was made worse by the smell. The bar stools are so low we felt like children sitting at the kids table.
Today was my first time eating here, I had ordered the peanut butter and jelly chicken wings, and my partner had the buttermilk fried chicken, the food was delicious considering I never had peanut butter and jelly wings .but when I was leaving out I ordered the strawberry shortcake to go, that's where it went bad, up on eating it the bread was hard to bite into , it actually felt like a rock more overcooked the strawberry were too sweet with a lot of syrup sitting on the bottom of the container, I really had a taste for the dessert but it wasn't what I expected I threw it out that sadden me..so I give overall 3 stars
Went on a Saturday evening for 5pm reservations for 3 of us. Moderately busy, but by the time we left, it was very busy. Tables are close together with a bar crammed in - it got annoyingly loud throughout the evening. All in all a very middling experience. Waited 45 minutes just for drinks. Cheesesteak was over cooked and dry. The accompanying fries were soggy and a distressing brown color - like they had been sitting in oil for a very long time. Burger and sweet potato fries were fine. Had asked for medium, got it well done. Chicken madeira came out cold. Had to send it back to heat it up. Overly salty and only a few pieces of chicken. Tried the charcuterie board for an appetizer. Not as described. No crostini or crackers, but added sushi tuna and artichokes. Not worth the asking price. Prices for the meals were reasonable. Waited almost another hour for our meals. We didn't leave until 8pm - a three hour affair.
We made dinner reservations at Vice & Virtue to celebrate our 28th anniversary, but unfortunately, the experience fell short of our expectations. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait to be seated, and our table was crammed in the back with two large parties. The space was so tight that the waiter’s back was practically on our table, which was quite uncomfortable. We waited over five minutes before the waiter came over to pour us some tap water from a glass bottle. There was only one waiter working the entire floor, and although he informed us that the chicken wings appetizer was out, he returned a few minutes later to tell us that the other appetizer we ordered was also unavailable. So, we decided to skip appetizers altogether. The main entrée was just okay. I ordered the $52 steak, which was cooked to my liking (medium), but it came without any sauce. When I asked for A1, one of the bartender servers offered me ketchup instead, which was disappointing. On a positive note, the environment looked very clean and inviting. We really wanted it to be a great experience as we love supporting local businesses, especially in an area that holds sentimental value for my wife who was born there. However, for a restaurant that requires reservations and charges a premium for its food, the overall experience felt cheap, and the vibe from the waiter did not feel welcoming to me or my wife.
The food was great but they took a bit to get our drinks and my glass had something dried onto it (looked like a bit of orange)so I asked for a new drink , the server was apologetic , but that drink took a bit to get to our table too. Also, it had debris floating in it and something black and crumbly on the side. One set of cutleryat the table was dirty too. Seemed like they had one waitress for the whole place, so definitely not her fault.
I paid $18 for a mid margarita served in a plastic cup. The bartender was nice, but not the quality I would expect for the price. The music was also way too loud
Looking at the other reviews, not sure if we were a fluke or what. But our server was innatentive and seemed ready to be done for the day. My aunt ls tooth broke while eating their tacos and they added a gratuity to each check (3 checks & 7 ppl) THEN the receipt asked for additional tip on top of the gratuity. We were seated for around 40 minutes before receiving our food and saw our waitress maybe twice? I thought the service was ridiculously lacking and adding the gratuity was nearly offensive. So if you want to chip your tooth and give the waiter 60$ you dont think she deserves, its a great place 👍🏻
The owners did a great job transforming the space. It a cute, relaxed spot to hang out. The waitress was quite nice, despite a busy floor. The team did not set our waitress up for success. While they say they can accommodate dietary restrictions they don't train their wait staff on what dishes are safe. Got multiple misinformation on what dishes are gluten free and ended up with very limited options. Lastly, the coleslaw was disappointing, just lettuce, peppers, and vinegar. Over all, wouldn't be upset to grab a cocktail here but I wouldn't recommend food service.

I was recently at this restaurant with a mentally handicap person. The weight staff made fun of him behind his back. They also judged us by the way he looked and asked us to leave a credit card when we were having dinner. They did not ask anyone else.
Got terrible service at the bar. Waited almost 20 mins to get service before walking out. Bar keeps were extremely rude and ignored us. Other people came in and were serviced. We just walked out. We will never go there again.
Despite their web site stating "Kitchen closes an hour before closing time", and closing time is 2AM, their kitchen was "closed" at 10PM, with no mention of this fact on their site or on Yelp. Just the straight up lie about their kitchen closing time.
I had to ask for forks and knives. The food was just OK. Took a long time to get it. It wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't come back. And the second we put down the tip. Someone came and asked us to leave 20 seconds later so they could seat the next table never ever will I return. We hadn't even finished the bottle of wine we had ordered.
The Mother's day Day brunch was disgusting. I was embarrassed I took my mom there. The food was literally unidentifiable. It was not as advertised - the website boasted a carving station, French toast bar with toppings, quiches, chicken and waffles were all on the advertised menu but none of them were actually there (the meat was just laying in aluminum tins, no carver, there were no toppings for the French toast and I had to ask for even just syrup multiple times, there was chicken and biscuits but no waffles to be found, and the "quiche" was a frittata with unidentifiable veggies in it.) Despite not serving what they advertised, they still charged $40 a plate and an additional 20% gratuity for us to serve ourselves, which was difficult to do because they kept running out of plates. The food was awful, it was sitting out and all congealed and stuck together. The aluminum trays were often empty. Everything was either overcooked or undercooked. The pastries were halfheartedly thrown on a platter. People were re-using the tongs for multiple things because there weren't enough out, which was an issue for me because I have food allergies and there was cross contamination happening. I had to notify staff there were obvious visible food spills on the floor after almost stepping and tripping on a sausage (at least that's what I think it was supposed to be) and a biscuit right in the buffet line. Then to top it all off when I went to the bathroom there was a dirty diaper sitting on top of the garbage in the stall, making the garbage unusable and the bathroom gross. I spoke to the manager about my concerns and they told me what foods to stay away from for my allergies since nothing was labeled, but were not apologetic about the state of their mother's Day brunch. I kept trying to find something I could eat and giving the options a chance, but ultimately had to stop for food on the way home.
Terrible food. Horrible service, they are just rude. Don’t waste your money here.
If I could give zero stars I would. Yesterday was Mother's Day. My daughter and family took me to brunch at Vice & Virtue. Their menu was advertised with mini quiches, french toast with assorted toppings. CARVING STATION, delicious fruit platters and such all for $40.00 per person. We walked in were told immediately that there would be 20% added to our bill. We were a bit confused as we were helping ourselves but ok.... We went up to the "buffet" which consisted of food in aluminum pans laying on a table. Nothing was labeled and we could not identify the food. Was it a mini burger or a sausage? Was that stuffing or a carcass? We had no idea what was in front of us. There were no chicken and waffles, There were chicken and bisquits which the person placing them in the aluminum pan was touching each one as he placed them. No glove, tongs etc.. just his hands. There was NO carving station. There were two trays of turkey and roast beef. We were told the "carver was sick." I guess no one in the resturant knew how to cut turkey and roast beef. The french toast had ZERO toppings and all pieces were stuck together from sitting out so long. The watress who served was a "ray of sunshine" (hear my sarcasm). The manager walked out crying then came back and started eating behind the bar. There was food all over the floor and people were taking fruit and dessert with their hands since no serving untensils were provided despite asking THREE times for them. To top it all off we needed to use the ladies room where my daughter found a dirty diaper on top of the garbage. Obviously the restuarant ( I use that term loosely) does not check the restrooms. All and all it was the most disqusting meal I have ever had, which was topped off by horrible service which we had no choice but pay the 20%. I would not reccomend this place to anyone. It was a hell hole.
Happy hour was supposed to be 2 for 1, had 3 martinis and Bill was $70! Owner was rude and not helpful. Julie, This response is disappointing and unnecessarily accusatory. My review reflects what I was charged and how the situation was handled. The final bill was $70, so my math is not “off.” If there is a discrepancy, that is an internal issue — not a customer error. Julie, Leaving a review is not slander — it is a customer sharing their firsthand experience. That is the purpose of review platforms. My review reflects what occurred: advertised happy hour pricing was not honored, the bill totaled $70, and the situation was handled poorly. If happy hour is restricted to bar seating only, that is information that should be clearly communicated before guests order, not after the fact.
