We had the turf tavern cater our wedding at the altamont manor on June 17th and they were so pleasant to work with! Not only was the food great but they were extremely professional and helpful in every way!

I have driven by this place thousands of times. Finally gave it a try and it was excellent. Highly recommend this place for a good Prime Rib dinner. Some of the best I have ever had.

Went to the Turf while visiting relatives in Scotia. The food was excellent, and the service also. I had an appetizer of artichoke hearts and the Shrimp Genovese as an entree. Could not have been better.

My GF's dad came here from Sarasota Fl and said he had the best steak he has ever had in his life! For the pricing of this restaurant I think the food is great and the service were personable and prompt. Obviously not a Michelin 5 star restaurant, but really good food.

Came in for St. Patrick’s Day and was greeted with smiles. Food was amazing, dessert was phenomenal, and homemade on premise. Oh and I have to mention the fried artichoke hearts appetizer, chefs kiss!

I was lucky enough to attend 2 events at the Turf Tavern. The food was way above expectations, the price was affordable and frankly below what I expected for the quality of food that was served. Service was great, parking easy and handicapped accessible. Loved it!

The turf always has incredible food, the service is out of this world, and the atmosphere is welcoming yet sophisticated. Always a great meal. Good value for the money. My husband always gets the prime rib, says it's the best he had in the area. Salad is included with the meal, a rare thing these days. Try the cranberry walnut dressing!

I attended a banquet here and also held my daughter's rehearsal dinner here a few years ago. The food quality and variety are excellent. The service is wonderful, and the planning staff is so accommodating.

I had the herb encrusted pork. Excellent! My friend thoroughly enjoyed her chicken marsala. And we both loved the fried artichoke hearts! Atmosphere is very pleasant. Our waitress was very efficient. But I did think the meal took longer than I expected. It was wine Wednesday. So a complimentary glass of wine. It was of poor quality. Lol what does one expect for being free. The prices were reasonable. I highly reccommend this establishment!

Excellent food and wonderful service. Staff were very attentive. We had a group of 20 in the banquet room for wedding rehearsal dinner. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Great ambiance and fireplace.

Great service and the food was awesome. I had prime rib and so did my sister inlaw cooked perfect. 2 others had boneless pork chops in rootbeer braise, other person had the seafood and pasta. Everyone loved there dinner. We were celebrating my mother's 89th Birthday.

We had a family reunion at the Turf, last evening. A few relatives had never been to the Turf Restaurant before. As was with our returning family, the newbies LOVED the service, the effort put forth for accommodating us, each meal was delicious and cooked to perfection.

Had a baby shower here for my daughter and everything went so smoothly! The staff was amazing, extremely helpful and pleasant!! The room was gorgeous, many compliments about how beautiful the room was. Everyone loved the food! The owners and staff had everything set up to exactly what I wanted, I didn't have to ask for anything. They made my first hosting of a baby shower, go smoothly and easy, no stress! We had our DiCresce Family Reunion dinner here Sunday, with 42 people, the food & service were fabulous. Maria & her staff are wonderful to work with, highly recommend them for your banquet.

This is a restaurant that is able to be both fancy and casual. My wife and I have loved dining here for special occasions and to take our grandma out to dinner. We even recently had our baby shower here which was wonderful. Our favorite item to get is their hummingbird cake and for salads, my wife absolutely loves their cheddar cheese dressing!

Can't say enough about the Turf Tavern. Everything was excellent. The service was 1st class. My wife had the chicken parm and I had the pork tenderloin. Both were very tasty and cooked perfectly. With more than enough for lunch the next day. A very good experience.

Went here for my significant others brothers birthday. The food was excellent. The customer service was excellent. The atmosphere was EXCELLENT. Our food arrived in a timely fashion with no errors in the orders. My significant other's brother didn't want to make a big deal and have the waitress bring over a piece of cake with a candle and sing Happy Birthday, so no one said a word. We were just waiting on the check when around the corner comes our waitress and another singing Happy Birthday with a piece of cake for all of us to share. I had a fish and chips dinner tonight and I can't get over how delicious everything was. It started off with a house salad with a homemade cranberry walnut dressing that was perfectly sweet and tangy. The fish came out barely fitting on the plate with two huge pieces and the fries underneath never disappoint with the crunch every fry it wishes it could be! Coleslaw was perfect as well!!compliments to the chef!!

Greeted warmly at the door. Reservations were for 7pm and the place was packed!!! Jacqueline took good care of us. 8oz filet was so tender and moist, I cut it with my fork. Pork loin was excellant as well. Not a single issue with the whole meal. Job well done by the entire staff that helped enhance my 1st meal here...

This place is a very generous fine dining restaurant. You the food is delicious, and you won’t leave hungry. It’s expensive, but the portions are good size, you get salad with you entree and you get bread. I love their Tuscan Chicken. I recommend their Hummingbird cake for dessert if you have room.

We had a small company holiday dinner last night and I can't say enough about how everyone raved about their meal . The desserts were equally as delicious. Waitress was very attentive to our table and had a wonderful personality. We will definitely be back for an occasional dinner !

After living in Scotia for over 6 years, we finally made it to Turf Tavern and we definitely wish we made it sooner. The food was delicious (prime rib, yum), and the service team was so hospitable and attentive without being too much. AND THE DESSERTS!! So good! Highly recommend for any occasion or just a dinner out!

Needing an Easter meal for two, I was having a tough time finding anything ready to go that wasn't meant for 10 people. The Turf Tavern put their Easter menu online and I called to request 2 meals, including soup, salad, entree and dessert. Everything was ready at our appointed time and the food was packaged conveniently and well enough to stay hot on the way home. What delicious meals they were! So fresh and tasty, we enjoyed every course. Thank you!

My boyfriend and I sat down at the bar to order drinks and dinner right before the kitchen was about to close. Having worked in the industry for many years, I assured the bartender that we would be out of his hair in no time. Jeff assured us that we were welcome and we ended up having a very pleasant conversation. He was outstandingly hospitable. We ordered the short ribs special and the lobster mac. All I have to say is wow. For the service and food to be top notch right before close was impressive and certainly memorable. We will be back!

I've been coming to Turf for quite awhile. The food is always enjoyable, and the service is well above average--but what makes this such a great find is the dessert. Maria (the owner) makes almost all of the desserts herself daily, and they are truly phenomenal. It is quite literally the best cake I have had in my life, and I'm a fella,who enjoys his cake. Turf Tavern is a restaurant in Scotia, NY that serves a nice selection of American dishes. My husband and I stopped for dinner recently. The staff is very friendly and attentive. My husband ordered bacon-wrapped meatloaf and found it quite delicious. I ordered chicken with risotto and it also was quite tasty. Tuesday happened to be $12.00 night, so our bill was quite a nice surprise! Wednesdays have wine specials, and I believe other nights have specials as well. There seemed to be a lot of regular patrons, which speaks well to the quality of food and staff. We have been eating at Turf Tavern for many years, and have not been disappointed. Enjoy!

We had our second annual men's dinner in the Banquet Room this week. Food was excellent, servers very good, both management and servers very accommodating. A totally enjoyable experience. I'm sure we'll have next year's dinner at the Turf. I'm already planning how to make it better.

What a wonderful experience we had here for my grandma's 77th birthday! The venue accommodated our party of 20 and did everything flawlessly. Every order correct, done promptly and with care! There were a lot of clean plates and zero complaints from even our picky eaters! What a gem of a place! Customer service done right!

This place was TOO dang adorable. The food was amazing and the waitstaff were so friendly. I got to try the oreo chocolate cake and was told that the owner makes the desserts herself. I can't wait to go back and try more of them, this was a lovely experience.

We had a great get together at the Turf Tavern with friends we have missed because of Covid . Party of eight and Doreen was exceptional taking care of all our needs. We all enjoyed our meals - had to try the Dill Pickle Pizza just because who has ever heard of such a crazy thing. It was delicious! Great food, great ambiance - loved how our table was tucked away in the back for a private feel. Thanks Maria for setting that up. We certainly would recommend this hidden gem. I attended an Anniversary dinner party for my great aunt and uncle. I didn't experience the restaurant because we were in the banquet hall, but it was great. The food was delicious, the servers were on top of things and polite. Thanks for helping make the family party a memorable one!

Went there for Schenectady restaurant week. Got a 4 course meal for $25 and it was awesome. I got the Maple glazed pork chop and my fiance got the slow roasted steak. Both were tender and juicy! The meal came with an ok small salad. The lobster cakes we had for an appetizer was very good, but only came with 2. For desert we got a marble cake and a dense chocolate cake. Both tasted good but nothing special. Their mixed drinks were made strong and weren't overly expensive. The staff was very nice and the food came out fast! The inside if the restaurant is rustic-y and has tables as well as a bar. They also do catering and have a banquet hall. For sure worth going to for a nice sit-down dinner or for a drink!

Absolutely delicious food situated in a home-y, cozy, environment. Service is friendly and personable; the menu is small, but powerful. The prime rib poutine was AMAZING, an absolute stand out dish. Generally speaking, their fried items were delicious. Get here early if you want the prime rib, it sells fast! That said, I got the filet, and it was spectacular, some of the best steak of that cut Ive ever had. The only thing I could complain about (and this is really picky) is the side of potatoes one of us got with our NY strip. They were large (quartered maybe?) and relatively light on the seasoning. Its a shame, because the truffle fries were SO good. Definitely make the side upgrade to avoid disappointment, in my opinion. Overall, 9/10 experience i will happily return for.

Used the Turf Tavern to cater our wedding. Amazing group of people who did an exceptional job with what we ended up choosing. Went with a buffet style but their wedding packages have so much to offer in each category it was a tough choice hah. We did a lunch/brunch and had an open bar for an hour and it was surprisingly cheap. Like base cost per person was in the $20 range and with the open bar and extra food options we added it may have been more $30s-$40 a head or so. But after checking out MANY food and catering places to cater a wedding, you don’t know how cheap that is. Like, staggeringly cheap… (some are $100+ a person) especially since they set up everything, brought all the silverware and linens, cut the cake for us and tore it all down in the end. Incredible caterers! Really, i can’t recommend them enough!

Unlike many restaurants, the acoustics are conducive to quiet conversation. The Veal Milanese was outstanding as were the mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. Included in the price was a delicious salad and fresh warm bread. It’s hard to find this combination of quality, quantity, and price anywhere else in the Capital District.

Turf tavern catered our wedding at Altamont Manor and did an absolutely phenomenal job. The planning was straightforward and enjoyable. The staff was perfect and professional. The food was so delicious and generously portioned. I highly recommend the short ribs and chicken parm entrees. The cocktail hour appetizers were also perfect- the bruschetta, bacon wrapped scallops, and teriyaki steak bites were delectable. So many of our guests told us how much they enjoyed the food. The bar service was also great and efficient. They made sure our glasses were never empty throughout the night which was much appreciated. Maria literally saved the day by helping to bustle my dress when I realized we’d gotten through all of cocktail hour forgetting to do it and were about to have our first dance. She was incredible and I cannot recommend turf tavern enough if you are looking for a caterer for your wedding.

Our choice for Schenectady Restaurant Week was Turf Tavern in Scotia, we have never been....it was delicious! I ordered off the restaurant week menu, Spinach Artichoke Dip, Prime Rib, Creme Brulee (this also came with a salad). Hubby had a Wedge Salad and the Sweet Cherry Pepper Pulled Pork. Everything was cooked perfectly and had excellent flavor, although I did need a little salt...Service was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!

We just had what might very well have been the perfect meal. We started with the escargot on mushroom cap special, the Prime Rib Poutine. The escargot dish was loaded with flavor with a delicious garlic butter to spoon over. The Prime Rib Poutine could very well have been a meal on its own, delicious beef, melted poutine and thick cut steak fries under the layers of beef. Our meals came with a side salad on a chilled plate!! All of the Turf’s salad dressings are homemade, we both ordered the creamy cheddar dressing and it was hands down the best dressing I’ve had on a salad. It was similar to blue cheese but with cheddar. The Tuscan chicken OMG, perfectly cooked chicken with Canali beans and spinach with another delicious garlicky butter sauce and lemon. The Beef Wellington was a tender perfect medium rare filet mignon coated in a mushroom and Prosciutto in a flaky puff pastry. We ended our meal with Crème brûlée, it was our first time trying this dessert and it’s a new favorite, it was so good we forgot to take a picture. The service was just as amazing as our meal, we can’t wait to go back and try more menu items.

I can't believe I have not visited this gem until now. Great food, speedy and wonderful service . Attention to detail and the effortless flow that all the staff bring on a regular really makes this place special. I feel like they serve home cooking a whole lot a of extra love and care. Not sure how long this place has been around, but I hope they stay around for a very long time. Our server Doreen was like a mind reader. Whether it was drinks, bread , water whatever. She was on top of it before we even had to ask. She treated us amazingly, but I believe that is just her dedicated service that she has been providing for probably many years. This is a great place to bring your family or your friends. Came here for restaurant week, but would go back for many more meals.

I enjoyed dining in at the Turf Tavern. The tables were spaced apart, employees all wore masks and there was hand sanitizer when you walked in the door. The food and service was very good. I will definitely go again!

I have been to the Turf many times and have never had a bad meal. You get a very fair bang for your buck. Service is great sometime and slightly lacking at times. Our server last Sunday completely forgot our second round of drinks, then apologized and told us it was because she was cleaning a fridge and wanted to go home. That was not ok at all with us. That is why I can't give five stars. The food will not disappoint!

I came here for a bridal shower. The room that we were entertained in was nice, a good layout for the shower, where everyone could see but were not on top of one another. I haven't eaten in the restaurant so I'm not sure I can give a full judgment of the food, but the choice of food that was provided to me at the shower was decent.

First time going there for a work luncheon. Place was very nice. Service was good and friendly. Food was good as well with decent portions. I would definitely go back on my personal time to try out the menu offerings

We had the family Christmas party there today and I am definitely pleased. It was spacious and clean, which is very important. The food was a little cool but the taste was great and the servers were all pleasant. All in all it was a great day and we will definitely book more parties for our family there.

It's been a couple of years since we have visited Turf Tavern and we had a goid meal. The Piggy Back Dates appetizer (bleu cheese stuffed bacon wrapped dates) was fantastic. I had the special crab stuffed shrimp entrée and my wife had salmon. Service was pretty slow; for some reason we seemed to be overlooked as other guests seated after us were attended to and waters brought before we were even addressed. Food is great and reasonably priced. We will return and hope service is better next time.

Went here tonight. The food was so good! Best we’ve had in a long long time!We ordered everything from apps to salad and entrees. To full for dessert. But next time definitely saving room. Service was ok. Our server was very nice when she would come to the table but was very rare. I had to ask for every drink instead of being offered. Thank you to the two women helping her bring our drinks and food. We will be back. We are very picky but absolutely loved the food! I can’t believe we’ve never dined here before! Can’t wait to go back.

Great service by the gentleman who waited on our table during restaurant week. Very attentive, polite, efficient, and had impeccable timing... there was a touch of fine dining feel to the pacing and service for our meal, which did not go unnoticed! The restaurant also provides a separate fork and knife for each course, which was lovely and unexpected. Bread and butter: fantastic. Appetizers: Very basic but fine Entrees: The portion sizes are huge and appreciated by the hungry crowd. Short rib entree is well thought out with flavors that worked well together-- clearly prepped ahead and well executed. The entrees that required stove top cooking in the kitchen did not do as well, including the shrimp, which was splashed with a white wine that was not mixed into the food or allowed to cook off. My impression was that the kitchen might have been extremely overwhelmed, because many of the elements were done well but had hints of carelessness from being rushed The desserts may be mass produced and in my opinion not worth ordering. This review is for just the restaurant week menu.

The building is old and has a mildewy smell but everything was clean and we'll taken care of. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We shared the breaded artichoke hearts which were excellent and served with a garlic sauce. The plate was huge; we weren't able to eat them all. The beer menu has a good selection of beers from Wolf Hollow and the wine list was very good also. The salads were fresh and the dressings were all homemade. My wife had the Shrimp Genovese and I had the Veal Savannah. Both the veal and the shrimp were excellent but the sauces were very similar and too heavy and complex for the them. The vegetable was served family style. We took slices of the Oreo Stuffed Cake and Hummingbird Cake home to enjoy later. Both are made in house and both were excellent.

My mother chose the Turf for the post service luncheon after my father's funeral. I want impressed with the set up of the tables, they created distance from family and friends. The food wasn't exceptional, it was just typical cold cuts and salads. I realize my mother selected the menu, I just didn't care for the food. Bland to me.

It's a nice neighborhood place. The service was great. The drink was delicious, and the home made Bleu Cheese very good. The steak was cooked perfectly but came with someone's black curl. I didn't take a pic, stff happens. Overall rating was based on lack of ambiance and the oyster appetizer. There was dimness in the room we were seated and a lack of decour or quaintness of any kind. The oyster app had a very tasty Chutney. Unfortunately, that's all there was as the oysters were very small and, when roasted as they were, disintegrated to nothing. I feel this is something chef should know. I don't recommend roasted oyster app as there was literally no oyster left. Overall, it was a nice place, but there are too many choices to return.

Dinner with friends on a Sunday afternoon. Restaurant was moderately busy, but there were empty tables scattered around so I don't think reservations would have been necessary. We did enjoy having a live classical guitar player in the dining room who was also singing, not the best but it was nice. The food was average at best. I chose the prime rib special, which was ordered medium. It was completely cooked, no pink only gray. Tender, but not tasty at all. Vegetables were ok, but not seasoned well. Soup was very good. Appetizer tray was good (called Turf platter) with a few bacon wrapped shrimp, stuffed mushrooms and bruschetta. The service was good - waitress was attentive and allowed us to sit at the table long past the end of our dinner. Dessert was good.

Was there on wednesday. Great service. Great atmosphere. However, the taste of the food is just as good as the food most people (average cook skill) can make at home.... In fact, for the restaurant with this price and such classy atmosphere, I was expecting the food should taste very good. . Dont understand how come there are so many positive reviews about the taste...

Retirement event, for our Pastor, it was decorated beautifully by the ladies, Pastor looked gorgeous, the live music was awesome, tables were beautifully decorated and everyone looked divine! My only issue was with the food, the food was cold, the potatoes were overdone and dry, the chicken was dry, the vegetables and salmon were overdone. In all, the meal was a disaster for an event for a beautiful and loving person. You can't prepare food and keep it on warmers for hours!

Went for the First time Yesterday. Our waitress was amazing and the food timing was perfect. However I have to say both my husband and I were pretty disappointed with the food. Everything but the French onion was pretty bland. We ordered Their Cherry smash which seemed to have only muddled a single cherry and seemed to be more of whiskey on the Rocks VS a whiskey smash. A well cosmo that was the same price as their craft cocktails. Which is on me for not asking what their well vodka is. But it was definitely balanced and well made. The bacon wrapped dates that was mostly filling a little dates but overall was tasty I love French onion soup and theirs is definitely good. We got 2 specials. The homemade cranberry walnut dressing on the salad tasted good was very sweet but had a very odd texture to it. My special was the Maple Bacon Salmon which honestly tasted mostly like watered down sugar water. The salmon itself didn’t seem to have any seasoning on it before putting the glaze over it with more glaze served on the side. The salmon could have been cooked a little hotter so there was more searing and crust on it. The rice was very bland and also had no seasoning on it. My husband’s Special was the Veal and Shrimp with a tomato sauce over pasta. The pasta itself was cooked well. But again over all the dish had no flavor. The sauce tasted as if they didn’t drain off the pasta before adding sauce on top making it taste watered down. The shrimp was breaded for some reason and again very little flavor and very chewy. The veal was also bland. The side of cauliflower was very dry and again bland. Overall for the price of the food we were expecting very flavorful and creative dishes. And we’re very disappointed. I love supporting local businesses but I don’t understand how this one has so many great reviews regarding its food and us having a completely different experience. I’m not sure if they catered to an older clientele and they are cautious of over seasoning for them or if it was an off day for the chief. We did fill out their survey attached to the receipt. But did not want to complain to the waitress or have our food comped but did want to express our general disappointment.

Have been there several times and the food was good, however this past time not so much. Maybe they were just having an off night. Undercooked chicken artichoke hearts were tasteless, veal was disappointing.

Went for a small club holiday dinner. 3 of our members weren't able to come. The manager came to our table and asked if we were all there. Then she asked us if we would get up and they rearrange the takes to get more diners in the restaurant. We thought this strange and a bit rude. We agreed and we went to the bar area for a few minutes while they rearranged the tables. While there we saw about 7 open tables. They did put people at the takes they rearranged, but they didn't need to seat them there as there were still open tables in the dining room. There was no compensation for the inconvenience of interrupting our pre-dinner conversation and drinks. The salmon that I had was just ok. No seasoning on the fish. No need to go back at any time.

Mrs. Jenner and I have headed for Turf Tavern three times. The first time was a few years ago; a local advertising piece touted a sort of "geriatric special" dinner offering in the pre-prime-dinner hour. The food was good -- not brilliant, but decent bistro fare. The second time, I'd actually booked ahead for a dinner celebrating our anniversary. The hostess/owner was in a snit; we hadn't had a confirmation call back; we left and dined across the river at the local den of iniquity (which was pretty good). This evening, noting a low-cost option that seemed worth trying at the end of a long day, we wagged our way in for the third time. We managed to miss being seated at the service table -- barely. Mrs. Jenner ordered seafood Newburg; I selected a grilled slice of prime rib. Rather surprisingly, I was told that the meat could not be done rare, though this kitchen supposedly grills to order. We had recalled remarkably fresh crispy, artisanal baguette; this evening's was -- something else. Mrs. Jenner did like the salad though, and the service was attentive. The chairs, however, were unkind to my tender bottom (...). The main dishes were very disappointing. My slice of prime rib had the appearance and texture of a rubber shoe heel. It was tough and tasteless. Grilling a half-inch slice of meat should not take more than a minute, or a minute and a half, on each side; this poor slice had been cooked longer than that, and if it was grilled, I would be most surprised (I suspect the meat was not dried and then sautéed at a low temperature, so that its juices were sucked out, and it was more parboiled than fried or broiled). Mrs. Jenner's seafood Newburg was in a sauce that was over-thick -- her term was "glue-y" -- as if the egg-and-cream liaison had been allowed to overcook, or the whole thing thickened with blonde roux, rather than egg in the proper way. This restaurant gets praise from the local reviewers. I cannot understand that, since the couple I know seem to know decent food. This meal was memorable only for its abysmal quality.

The quality has diminished considerably over the years, while the prices have risen sharply - service was just average - and food was very mediocre as the chicken parm is much better at other establishments we’ve frequented recently

I've always wanted to eat at this restaurant because I've heard a lot of great things. I had a union dinner there this holiday season and my mom even said that the Banquets were delicious. I don't know if it was the choice of food that the organizer picked or what it was but the food was not good at all. We had undercooked meatballs with a strange aftertaste as an appetizer along with some vegetables and dip then we had our choice of chicken parmesan or sirloin of beef. I had the chicken parmesan and there was no flavor to it and it came with very little noodles and some undercooked flavorless asparagus Spears. My boyfriend had the sirloin of beef which looks like deli meat that was heated up and had some sloppy mushroom gravy poured over it. He also got the undercooked asparagus Spears with his meal. The best thing from the entire night was joking with the bartender and the desert which was some sort of cake and cream.

Highly overrated and overpriced. From our experience tonight you can just stay home and cook yourself food that will be better in taste and quality and save yourself an inflated bill. My fiancé and I found the staff and atmosphere of the restaurant to be off and uncomfortable. The staff weren’t exactly friendly, at least not genuinely, and they constantly gave me off vibes from the hosts (who I think were the owners?) to even our waitress. Even the other patrons in the restaurant who happened to be predominantly elderly individuals threw off the atmosphere. We were seated between two tables of older people with one having a person who appeared to not know how to lower the obnoxiously loud ringtone on his phone, and the other table having what sounded like someone with an obtrusively loud oxygen tank which frankly made me feel like I was eating at a hospital rather than a restaurant. This place seems like its trying to tout itself as being a higher-end restaurant, but its not. Besides the service and uncomfortable atmosphere, one of our bread plates was questionably dirty and the food took a long time to come to us. This restaurant has one of the worst and unremarkable menus I’ve encountered; it made picking something from their unimpressive entrée list a bit challenging for me, but I went for something simple – the pasta Bolognese, and my fiancé the braised beef short ribs. Both meals were mediocre at best. The beef short rib was tender, but lacked flavor and depth; in other words it was bland. The mashed potatoes however were good. My pasta was disappointingly mediocre. The overall flavor was average, and the sauce lacked enough meat and was too overloaded with vegetables in my opinion; they even had the nerve to shove two, tiny, stale, and disgusting bread pieces into it that were inedible. They don’t offer substitutions for their side-salads, which is ridiculous. Not everyone likes or eats salads. You have to pay to substitute it for a small bowl of soup. Either our waitress lied about the price or she was misinformed; we were told it was $3 to substitute, but when the bill came it was $5 and she didn’t even bother to address that discrepancy. My fiancé said the soup was ‘okay,’ but not worth the extra cost.
