Amazing customer service! They took care of our large group. We didn't have a reservation but they graciously welcomed us. We went from a party of 16 to 40, and they just kept accommodating for us. Their hospitality was beyond our expectations. Food was also delicious.

If you’re looking for a place to celebrate or just have a nice meal this is definitely the spot! We came in for our anniversary and Gabby provided excellent service. We were greeted with a welcome snack and martini, every single dish we ordered was excellent, and I would definitely dine here again! My favorite dishes would be the slow roasted sea bass and the gooey butter torte. The fish was melt in your mouth with a perfect crust, the dessert was crunchy, warm, soft, and sweet. I can’t wait to come back!

Tracy is amazing! She not only gave us exceptional service, but was just a great person. She was making jokes and being a part of our girls group while staying professional and helpful. It was our first time there and she made my birthday special with her great service!

In my opinion Maple & Ash is the best resturant Arizona has to offer. The food is next level and has you saying i didn'tknow food can taste like this. The service is incredible, and atmosphere is great. If you haven't been go, if you haven't experienced fine dining, start here. I promise you wont regret it!

I had high end dining experience that I loved at Maple and Ash. The atmosphere felt very rich . Polished crowd and dim light aesthetics. Great for birthday celebrations and date nights in Scottsdale.

I booked here for my birthday it was such a great experience. The atmosphere was amazing, staff very accommodating. I ordered the steak, potatoes and lobster. The steak and potatoes were amazing. The lobster was overcooked and rubbery. I ordered the macaroni as well it wasn’t my preference but my husband loved it. I’ll book again for the steak alone.

My husband and I dined here on Tuesday for our 19th wedding anniversary. The whole experience was amazing. Our waiter for the night was Dillan , he really made our night special. The chef that night was top notch. We will definitely be coming back soon. Thank you Maple and Ash Scottsdale for elevating our special day 😊

Outstanding Dinner Experience! From when we walked in greeted with smiles and Top Knotch Service. Took our daughter for her birthday and she had the best time. Food was so delicious and cooked to perfection. Looking forward to going back.

I went to Maple & Ash for my birthday and it was amazing from start to finish. The vibe was perfect, the servers were super sweet, and they even gave me a custom birthday menu which was such a cool surprise. The steak and baked potato were great, but the mac and cheese? Life-changing. I'd go back just for that. Seriously one of the best birthday dinners I've had.

Maple & Ash provided an incredible experience for my best friend’s bachelor party while we were visiting Scottsdale. Finding a place that could cater to both a vegetarian and a gluten-free diet was no small task, but this restaurant exceeded expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the variety of options and the outstanding service. The ambiance is an interesting mix of club vibes and fine dining, which was a bit unexpected, but the energy added to the celebration. Our server, Beverly, went above and beyond to take care of our group. She even helped coordinate a surprise early birthday celebration for me, making the night even more special. We started with the Heirloom Greens & Herb Salad, which was fresh and flavorful. The bread was fantastic—though I do wish the butter had a bit more punch to it. The restaurant graciously comped a few sides for our group, which was a thoughtful touch. While the food was delicious, the drinks stole the show. The Old Fashioneds were particularly impressive. For my main course, I had the Ricotta Agnolotti, and it was perfection. The pasta was soft, almost melting in my mouth, with a unique and refined flavor. If you're looking for an intimate, quiet dinner, this may not be the place. But for a lively, upscale experience with top-notch service and excellent food, Maple & Ash is a must-visit. I wish I had taken more pictures—but honestly, we were too busy enjoying every bite!

This place exceeded expectations, we felt well taken care of by our server, Josh. He helped us celebrate our anniversary right, and Adam helped with some great wine pairings! Best shrimp cocktail I’ve ever had! Everything we ate was delicious! Great ambience as well.

This place is truly an exceptional dining experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance that set the tone for the evening. Our waiter was phenomenal—funny, engaging, and knowledgeable. He brought a lively energy to our table and made impeccable recommendations. The food was absolutely fantastic. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The steaks were cooked to perfection, with a wonderful sear on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth tenderness inside. The accompaniments were thoughtfully paired and added layers of taste that complemented each bite. We also indulged in their creative seafood offerings, which were equally impressive. Maple & Ash is not just a meal but an experience. The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere made for an unforgettable evening. If you’re looking for a place that combines exceptional food, impeccable service, and a vibrant environment, this is the spot to be. Highly recommend!

This restaurant rivals the fancy restaurants in Vegas! Yet it has a humorous sense of atmosphere. It’s sleek design and romantic ambiance is exactly what we were looking for. We were celebrating a birthday, and wow how much fun! They make a birthday experience awesome! The service was great and the food and drinks were delicious! Would definitely come back and are already planning to do so!

It was worthy of the label of having a two-Michelin-star Chef. We were disappointed that the website had not been updated to reflect crab legs were no longer on the tower, because that's what the birthday lady had wanted to go there for, but that disappointment quickly disapppated as we enjoyed every delectable bite of our dishes we shared amongst us. The other cute touches such as a little birthday cocktail and a personalized birthday menu were nice. We appreciated the speakeasy meets Gothic vibe. There was even a vampire like employee with glorious long hair and an aura only immortality brings. It made me want to host a meeting of the Poe and Poets Society there. We had a magnificent Cabernet with a great body and tannis. I liked it so much I wished I'd paid attention to the name. It was clear that whether you were there for happy hour or the posh dining experience, you were a valued customer. Despite it being a hot box of poor ventilation in the restrooms, everything else was absolutely superb.

This is by far one of my favorite steakhouses in Scottsdale. The steak is always grilled perfectly, and the sides are delicious. Definitely try their dessert menu. The goey butter torte, and the table side banana foster are DELICIOUS!! Can’t wait to be back :)

DELICIOUS! If you are looking for an amazing ambiance for an occasion, whether it be a birthday, anniversary, or just for a nice dinner on a night out, i definitely recommend this place. The servers were AMAZING, super helpful and attentive, the experience was fun, the menu was great, the experience was just amazing. It’s nice and quiet, enough to be able to have a conversation and drinks, it was amazing!

This place totally lives up to the hype! My husband and I enjoyed an amazing dinner at M&A for our anniversary. We made reservations for Friday evening, and were seated right away when we arrived. We had a beautiful table, it was softly lit with candles, beautiful furniture and the place is gorgeous and romantic inside. Our server Michael really made the dining experience special for us. He was fun and knowledgeable, never made us feel rushed, gave us some great recommendation and really took great care of us. The food was so delicious. We had the oysters (fresh and delicious) the wood fired octopus was sooo good, we shared the pillows of love which just melt in your mouth, I’ll dream about them at night, we had the sea bass which was so light and flakey and perfectly prepared and the candied bacon asparagus, all so delicious. We tried so many of their amazing cocktails, all beautiful prepared with love. The custom menus to celebrate special occasions are such a nice touch. Everything about this place is beautiful and special and they think of every detail. I can not think of a single bad thing to say about this place, we both had a wonderful time here, it was worth every penny, and it will be my first pick to celebrate any special occasion in the future. 10/10

I had an incredible dining experience at Maple & Ash! The food was absolutely outstanding, with every dish bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The attention to detail in the presentation was also impressive, making each plate a work of art. The service was top-notch from start to finish. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, always ensuring that our needs were met without being intrusive. Their recommendations were spot-on and added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Maple & Ash is truly a gem – the perfect blend of great food and excellent service. I can’t wait to return and try more of their delicious offerings!

The atmosphere was very cozy and regal. I decided to go there with a friend. Stepped in and the place was beautiful. Immediately was greeted with a mocktail. Everything we had was phenomenal from the seafood tower to the chocolate cake at the end. Service was excellent as well. Everyone does such a great job there. Thank you!

This place was highly recommended so I stopped by for dinner. Everything was delicious. I ordered a Lady in Black cocktail which was perfect. I tried the Branzino and Ceasar salad for my meal. It was so good that I came back the next day to try more menu items. Lindsey and McKinley were great bartenders and really attentive. Definitely a go-to spot.

Best service of any restaurant. You will never go a minute without your glass of water filled, and any request granted immediately. Service is the star! Loved their beautiful drinks (Playing for Keeps, Elicit Affair, Espresso Martini (espresso forward) and Porn Star)! The amuse-bouche was a delightful twist on onion dip with chips...caviar was the star. Ended the evening with incredible Coconut Cream pie!

Traveling for a birthday dinner and we were absolutely blown away. The staff paid incredible attention to detail and helped explain everything. The meatballs and garlic bread appetizer were tender and flavorful. We both ordered the ribeye medium rare with beefed up butter. We both could not believe how delicious the steak was combined with the butter and bone marrow. We got sides of potatoes el gratin and brussel sprouts that paired nicely together. One of the best steaks we have had and we travel a lot. We finished with the gooey butter torte and scrapped the plate clean in satisfaction. If you’re in the area and want a special dinner add this to your itinerary. I recommend making reservations in advance.

I got the king crab legs and my wife had the filet. You can really taste the smoky flavor in each bite! The waiter was extremely generous. It was our anniversary and he really treated us right! We were both not that hungry so we were trying to get small portions to save room for dessert but he brought us complimentary sides, drinks. And recommended the coconut crème cake that was delicious! The king crab was some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The filet was delicious. But overall the service is better than we have had anywhere else in a long time. We will definitely be choosing this place again if we visit Scottsdale again.

We just left Maple & Ash Scottsdale tonight with a large group and I’m still processing how incredible the entire experience was. From the moment we walked in, the energy was perfect — moody candlelit ambiance, the staff was on point, and our server made us feel like we were the only table in the room despite the place being packed. We started with the Fire-Roasted Seafood Tower, and honestly the tower alone — the lobster, king crab, scallops, all finished with that garlic butter chili oil — would have been worth the trip. The dry-aged meatballs! The beef tenderloin, Mac and Cheese. OmG… All night the hits just kept coming to our table with the perfect sides to round everything out. Just when I thought I was too full. They brought out the most delicious dessert. There’s always room for dessert, ya? Worth every minute of the wait. What really set the night apart was how effortlessly they handled our large party. There was zero drop-off in service, food quality, or timing. Every course came out coordinated, the cocktails kept flowing, and the team genuinely seemed to enjoy taking care of us. They over-delivered in every way. If you’re looking for an upscale steakhouse experience in Scottsdale that actually lives up to the hype, Maple & Ash is it. Chef Danny Grant and his team have built something special here. This won’t be our last visit — not even close.

We celebrated my MIL’s birthday dinner here and I cannot say enough great things about this place. Drea was our server and she was amazing! She made the best recommendations based on my husband’s dietary restrictions and kept checking on us. Every dish was delicious. We tried the bone marrow, brussels sprouts, ny strip, filet mignon, whipped mashed potatoes, chips with caviar dip, and a few cocktails. Service and ambience were also top tier. This will certainly not be our last visit here. Love this place!

Food and service was great! Loved the ambience. We celebrated a birthday and then host printed a beautiful wish on the menu card as a celebratory gesture. We had food allergies in the party and the team accommodated our needs.

Love the fresh seafood and upbeat, yet laid back, atmosphere here for brunch, dinner and the Tower Hour. All have been luxurious and satisfying with friendly and professional service. We will certainly be back again soon. This time we enjoyed complimentary drinks and onion dip with caviar to start. We followed with mezcal and a draft IPA, then started with a roasted seafood tower with butter, chili oil and pasta finished table side. Next, lobster with truffle frites, prime French dip and oyster Rockefeller dip. Another good time and great meal! Cheers! 🙏🏼🍻🥂🦪 🦞

Truly a delight. The decor is stunning and the vibe is impeccable . Our service was very top notch and then we get to the food and drinks. Just divine!!! There is a lost art of the care detail and hospitality that the maple and ash team provide- a must visit in Scottsdale!! Worth every dollar.

Every time we visit the experience is absolutely exceptional. The food is consistently delicious, the service is attentive, and the attention to detail really sets this place apart. The ambiance is elegant without being stuffy, it feels special the moment you walk in. Their seafood tower is delicious 😋. If you’re celebrating a birthday, it gets even better. They make the occasion feel unforgettable with little touches that truly elevate the night. It is gorgeous and cozy!

Maple & Ash Scottsdale was worth every penny — hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The vibe was amazing from the moment I walked in. The food was amazing. The service was top-tier without being uptight, and the whole night felt special. It’s definitely a splurge, but totally worth it. I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat.

Wow, what an experience! My husband and I were celebrating his birthday and our wedding anniversary and I’m so happy we chose Maple and Ash! From the complimentary welcome drink and app, to ambience, to the service, and not to mention how perfect the food was. Unbelievable! Drea was our server and she was amazing. We didn’t feel rushed through dinner, enjoyed each course thoroughly with lots of time to chat in between. It wasn’t too quiet like most steakhouses, a great house music playlist. The beef tartare was a new experience for me but so delicious. The pillows of love were insane. We shared the NY strip and it was cooked perfectly. Espresso martini was very coffee heavy but tasted amazing. 10/10. Can’t wait to go back!

I have been to Maple & Ash plenty of times for their Sunday brunch (which is always amazing). This time around, I wanted to go for dinner and my experience was nothing short of spectacular. The food is great, ghe atmosphere is a vibe and more than anything else... the service is top notch. They make you feel like a VIP every single time. This just wasn't a great meal, it was an experience. You can tell that they work hard to maintain those high standards. Don't just take my word for it... come here and experience it for yourself. I promise you won't regret it. If she happens to be working that day, ask for Bella. For dinner I ordered the seafood tower and the short rib pasta, they both were fantastic and they have some of the best cocktails. Seriously, just come here.

We visited Maple & Ash in Scottsdale for a business dinner, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Our party of 11 was treated as if we were the only guests in the restaurant — every detail was noticed, every need was met, and the service was exceptional throughout the evening. The food was incredible — from appetizers to dessert, every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The atmosphere made it perfect for both celebration and conversation. This was my first visit, and I’m already looking forward to the next one. Maple & Ash exceeded all expectations. Highly recommend!

Christmas Eve at Maple and Ash was THE BEST. Everything about it was flawless except the coffee which was bitter. They have been trying to use locally sourced coffee but are in the process of changing companies. We had the chateaubriand (bone in) 36 ounce. We shared it 4 ways and also had a seafood tower. The other two in our party had surf & turf that was huge and perfectly prepared. Our server was Drea. Couldn’t have designed a better server. One last thing, the craft cocktails! The esoteric ingredients left a lasting impression.

What an awesome time! Truly a memorable dining experience with friends. Lauren and Ferg’s team is incredibly professional. The food was excellent. Our server, Ryan, attentive and knowledgeable. And Evan the Somm got us a great bottle for the table. Will definitely be going back.

My experience was interesting. The host was friendly greeting us. Our bill came out to over $300 including a $40 tip. Food was a 10/10. The waiter served a complementary drink and didn't ID us. I wasn't done eating my food and our waiter asked if we wanted a to go box. I felt a kind of way. Like she was rushing us. She even asked if he wanted the bone off the steak to take home lol like excuse me? No meat was left on the bone whatsoever. We looked confused and she said oh for your dog. We don't own a pet. Also dogs can't eat cooked bones. I felt uncomfortable. She lucky my guy friend tipped her $40.

The staff's dedication to excellent service truly enhances the dining experience. The delicious food elevates the overall enjoyment. While the cuisine may not reach the pinnacle of culinary perfection, it remains a worthwhile endeavor. The unique atmosphere creates a memorable occasion. It's a place worth visiting for the combined effect of ambiance and hospitality.

The atmosphere is definitely photogenic . The non alcoholic drinks were okay. The options were limited. The complementary drink and caviar were cute. The Mac & cheese was too al dente to my liking and could have used more flavor. The chicken was delicious. The chocolate cake was moist. The menu was the best part, a cute little keepsake. My waitress was phenomenal and checked on me repeatedly. Made my birthday extra special and I really appreciated that. I wish I could remember her name. She was tall & blonde 😅. The host were pleasant as well. I would suggest the happy hour vs. sitting for a full course meal personally.

The atmosphere was very upscale, very nice. I'm not a huge fan of overly dim lighting though and it was pretty dark in the restaurant. The food was very good. I tried the crab, the bone-in aged ribeye, lobster Mac n cheese, brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, the lamb, and even had a bite of some wagyu. I also had a number of mocktails while others at the table had adult beverages. I don't want to make it seem like I wasn't happy with the food at all. Everything was very delicious. The crab had a slightly smoky/char flavor which isn't my preference, but I still enjoyed the meat. Some at the table were entirely put off by the flavor and didn't want to eat more after a bite. I would chalk that up to personal preferences though. The price has to factor in to my review of the food though. The food is very expensive. Our bill before tip for six adults was about $1,600. That did include two or three orders of crab and three orders of wagyu. For me, it is a lot of money for something that I enjoyed but that I wasn't blown away by. What did blow me away was the service. The staff were incredible. Extremely attentive. They did little things to make the evening special and made great recommendations. We never felt rushed the entire evening either. For me, this place hits somewhere between a 4 and 5 star with the expense vs flavor being the one factor that pulls it down a bit for me. However, it is worth noting that this is my typical feeling toward a high-end steakhouse for the past several years. I tend to prefer a nice cut of meat from Costco that I cook at home.

Forgot to take a picture of the “Tour Hour” seafood tower. It was on the small side, we got two and had them put together. I’ve had the large one before and it was way better portion wise but also what you actually get in it. Service and environment were great as usual just a little underwhelmed on what 2 small seafood towers put together equated to.

R
Rae

The ambiance and decor are amazing, beautiful restaurant. They give us a free welcome drink & crème fraîche with potato chips & a little caviar on top this was pretty good. We ordered the surf and turf, salmon and lobster dumplings. The inside of the dumplings could’ve been more seasoned but the broth was really good. The entrees were just okay, they weren't flavorful or well seasoned in my opinion & the steak was slightly under (I asked for medium but it was more on the medium rare side). They also provide a menu with your name on it if you're celebrating a birthday or event so that was a nice touch!

Maple & Ash has a lot of potential, but unfortunately, my experience was mixed. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere with a DJ playing music, which could have been enjoyable, but it was so loud that it overshadowed the dining experience. The volume made it difficult to have a conversation, and I found myself having to repeat my order twice because the server couldn’t hear me. The vibe felt more like a strip club than a fine dining restaurant. While the attire is business casual, the servers seemed a bit too casual for the setting. Service was notably slow, especially considering the restaurant was only half full. This added to the frustration, as I expected more attentive service given the prices. On the positive side, the food was good, with highlights including the maple bacon, lobster scrambled eggs with truffle, and the sundae tower. However, the quality didn't quite justify the high cost, and there were very few options for people with food allergies, which was disappointing. Overall, I left with a migraine from the noise and was underwhelmed by the experience. While there were some enjoyable elements, I don’t think I’ll be returning anytime soon.

My husband and I went there to celebrate for my birthday. The food was great! I love the seafood tower. You can really taste the wood fire smokes. The seasoning was excellent touch. The steak was also good. The wedge salad was surprisingly very good. The onion ring made it so much better! The bone marrow was a bit too salty in my opinion. However, for the price of the food I feel like I could go somewhere else. The chocolate cake wasn’t that good. Don’t recommend it. The service was not so great. Usually when we visit fancy restaurants, they ask if we are celebrating anything or if there’s special occasion. The waiter didn’t ask and we didn’t really had a chance to share that we were celebrating my birthday. I was kinda bummed out because I thought my husband had noted it in the reservation. I didn’t get the cool menu that others get for their birthdays. The waiter was very pushy for ordering food. There were only the two of us and we already ordered big entree portions but the waiter kept on asking us if we wanted appetizers even after my husband said no. We ended up getting the wedge salad. The salad was good but we had so much leftovers because we had too much food. The atmosphere was great for dates and special occasions! Love the vibe and overall aesthetic of the restaurant.

The staff and environment is great. However, the food isn’t worth the price. I came for my birthday in December. I got the crab and it really was just like a lump of crab sitting in oil. My friend did say she enjoyed her lamb chops. Everyone else like me thought the food was mid. We spent almost 800 and sadly will never return.

I just want to preface this with this is our second time at Maple and Ash. The first time was January of 2022 to celebrate my graduation. Our experience then was superb - my husband and I like to try different steakhouses for our more fancier date nights. Now it has been a while since we did one of our fancier date nights (kids, life ya know), however my husband is leaving for the Army in 2 weeks and he decided he wanted one more nice date night before he left. It also happened to be on Valentine's Day weekend - which I was shocked that we were able to get a reservation on Friday evening. We walked in thinking we'd get the same experience the first time, however it was wrong. When I made our reservation I put in the celebration box, celebrating my husband leaving for the army. When we arrived we were not asked if we were celebrating. Our waitress really seemed as if we were an inconvenience for her, no small talk - straight to the point. They changed the small appetizer they give you prior to ordering to what it looked like to me leftovers of a salad being utilized with a fancy french onion dip. Maple and Ash boxes up your left overs - my husband placed everything he wanted boxed up on his plate and communicated it, to our surprise when we got home not all of it was saved. The food was fine, however I am sure there has been some inflation here as there was everywhere else. But the food was not worth almost $350 including tip. I am not sure what happened from our first trip to our most recent (i know its been a while) but it was not what we were expecting.

My wife and I hosted a friend for dinner five days ago. The first problem we encountered was when we were taken to a small table in the bar directly under a television set. Our refusal led to a nice table (during the walk to it we saw many of those). The second issue was a noise level in excess of what one expects in this kind of restaurant. We then had an above average meal. The bill came, and I was surprised to find that with the tip the cost was $697. The following day I added what we had in my head and couldn’t come up with an amount within fifty dollars of what we spent. Having not gone over the itemized bill (mea culpa) at the time, I asked for it to be emailed to me. A response came from a Mr. Jordan Cole, a manager. On review I found that the charge for the wine was thirty dollars over the quoted price in the wine list and a charge of eighteen dollars was listed for employee benefits. I have since sent two responses to Mr. Cole and have not heard from him. The amount of the discrepancy is of no concern to me. The fact that it exists is, as is the lack of any evidence of concern. When I want a fine dining experience I will return to Dominick’s. I have never been disappointed there.

Food was good…. Service was awful. Terrible service can make a great meal miserable. Service and drinks were slow, orders incorrect. I order the Steak Frites and Brussels sprouts… steak was overcooked, but still pretty good. Brussels were amazing! Go to Maestro's or Steak 44 for consistency. I likely won’t be back.

Made a birthday reservation at Maple & Ash and was seated at a table that constantly wobbled. Every time we cut our steaks or even reached for drinks, the table moved. Instead of enjoying a special celebration, the entire meal was spent dealing with this issue. It completely took away from and ruined what should have been a memorable birthday.

C
Carlos Sanchez

Pros: The restaurant is located in the heart of Scottsdale. The moment you walk in you can't help but notice the thought that went into creating such a beautiful space. Our server, RG, started us off with a delicious complimentary appetizer and cocktail. Cons: Unfortunately, the quality of the meal didn't match the price tag. After having the branzino recently in Abra in Los Angeles, the plate here was bland at best. Our server was attentive, but rushed. It felt like he was just going through the motions, without any real concern for the experience. He left me talking to myself a few times. This establishment charges an additional fee to offset the cost of health insurance for the employees. The explanation given is that this helps keep the menu prices lower than they would be. The prices are already higher than the local Fleming's, so this justification doesn't make sense to me. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this place to a friend.

Wow. I have tried this restaurant 5 times now to no avail. I have been there for dinner (leftovers were boxed in the kitchen and I had terrible food poisoning from the left overs) Went back bc I was given a gift certificate. Service is always horrible after the first time I went. They charge you to sit at the table even if you don’t want to eat their overly priced $85 brunch food. Even if you are drinking the over priced drinks you will still have to pay $85. They offer unlimited shareables but service is so horrible we only got one serving before they told us that the kitchen was closed. They allowed you to book a reservation 1 hour before closing the kitchen but don’t even wait on you in a timely manner. Drinks alone took over 20 min to get and we were only a table if 4! Food is good if you want to pay way too much for a serving of food that will leave you hungry after. Here’s my takeaway Great atmosphere. Dj ends abruptly at 2. They also don’t mention that. The service is horrible almost every time years apart The unlimited mimosas or all you can eat shareables is a lie due to the horrible service And it’s way over priced for the amount of food and terrible service. Atmosphere is cool though.
