Delicious food and very friendly, attentive service! The other reviews are spot on: ask for the vodka pasta sauce; it’s not on the menu, and love that they served it in a boat so you can adjust how saucy you want it. They checked on us a lot, made great recommendations, and food came out quickly. Will be back!

We’d come back just to eat the chocolate buttercake dessert. Absolutely incredible. The ambience is cozy and elevated. We came in the wintertime and they have plenty of heaters, as well as thoughtful details like blankets for the patio if you’re chilly. Wonderful spot, highly recommend!

A Culinary Symphony at Vic & Ola's: An Unforgettable Evening in Scottsdale Nestled in the heart of North Scottsdale, Vic & Ola's is a true gem that transforms a simple dinner into a multi-sensory celebration of Italian artistry and warm hospitality. From the moment we stepped inside, the elegant ambiance enveloped us—think soft golden lighting from crystal chandeliers, intricate Moroccan-inspired screens casting playful shadows, and a lively hum of conversation mingling with the clink of wine glasses. The space feels both intimate and grand, with plush velvet booths and a gleaming bar that invites you to linger. It's the kind of place where you forget you're in Arizona and imagine yourself transported to a sun-drenched villa in Tuscany. Our meal began with a generous serving of amazing calamari and velvety roasted tomato mushroom basil soup, a deceptively simple starter that arrived in a pristine white bowl, crowned with golden croutons and fresh basil leaves. The flavors were pure sunshine—rich, herbaceous, and subtly smoky, with just enough warmth to tease the palate for what was to come. It was the perfect prelude to the parade of dishes that followed. The highlights? Oh, where to start. The salmon ravioli in a vibrant cream sauce was a revelation—plump pockets of pasta bursting with sweet, tender salmon, nestled in a silky orange-hued broth flecked with chives and a sprinkle of microgreens. Each bite was a luxurious hug, balancing brininess with creamy elegance. We couldn't resist the pan-seared salmon over handmade pappardelle, where the fish's crispy herb crust gave way to flaky perfection, swimming in a lemony beurre blanc alongside charred lemon, asparagus, and artichokes. It was fresh, zesty, and utterly refined. For the pasta lovers at the table, the rigatoni sausage delivered waves of comfort—al dente tubes coated in a slow-simmered meat sauce that sang of tradition, topped with a blizzard of Parmigiano-Reggiano. And the eggplant parmigiana? Layers of golden-fried slices, gooey mozzarella, and San Marzano tomatoes, garnished with basil and olives—a vegetarian masterpiece that even carnivores devoured. We ventured into the unexpected with squid ink linguine tossed in a spicy nduja ragu, the jet-black strands providing a dramatic canvas for the chorizo-like heat and briny feta crumbles. It was bold, innovative, and a nod to Vic & Ola's creative edge without ever straying from their Italian roots. Portions were generous yet refined, leaving room for indulgence. But let's talk dessert, because that's where the magic peaked. The butter cake arrived warm and gooey, drenched in caramel sauce and paired with vanilla gelato and whipped cream—a decadent embrace of British-Italian fusion that had us scraping the plate clean. Close on its heels was the molten chocolate butter cake, its center oozing like liquid gold under a scoop of vanilla ice cream and mint sprig. Served with a flourish (and a spoon for good measure), it was the ultimate crowd-pleaser, rich yet not overwhelming. What elevated this already stellar experience to five-star perfection? Our servers, Zev and Hannah. Zev's encyclopedic knowledge of the wine led us to a Restaurant Week pairing that paired each wine flawlessly with every course, while his genuine enthusiasm for the menu made recommendations feel like insider secrets. Hannah, with her infectious smile and effortless grace, anticipated our every need—from fresh bread refills to swapping out a side without missing a beat. Their teamwork was seamless, their energy warm and unpretentious, turning our table into a personal fete. In a city full of spots chasing trends, Vic & Ola's shines because of people like them—attentive pros who make you feel like family. Vic & Ola's isn't just a meal; it's a memory-maker. Whether you're celebrating a milestone or just craving elevated comfort food, this Scottsdale standout delivers on every level. We left stuffed, smiling, and already plotting our return. Bravo—don't walk, run to book a table. You won't regret it.

This elegant casual dining spot is a must while in Scottsdale. We've experienced indoor and outdoor dining. Both are lovely and for those who live for a great patio, this is your place. The Lasagna is incredible and melts in your mouth if that makes sense and the Sausage Pasta Rigatoni is also magnificent. For tasty light bites, you cannot go wrong with the Old School Antipasto - delicious charcuterie board. This charming location needs to br on your list. Service was impeccable and attentive.

Went to Vic & Ola’s for drinks and dinner, and we were blown away by the friendliness along with the overall atmosphere. But it didn’t stop there. The food was absolutely delicious and so fresh. It’s always scary trying a nice new restaurant and hoping it’s worth the money — this was beyond worth it. And wanted to shoutout John, so kind.

Thanks for being so nice! You made our day. We were coming for lunch and ended up a bit early and walking around. We ran into the owner at Pescados, their sister restaurant, and she was so nice! The funny thing is we saw her on check please, Arizona, the night before and were so excited because we were planning on going today. It was cool and serendipitous. The meal was fabulous, and we will definitely be coming again. All the neighborhood people love this place on Nextdoor. The employees made us feel like family and were so nice to us. The Italian panino was great and I loved the pumpkin soup. We also ordered a linguini with clams and they were so good. Thanks again. We can't wait to visit again and sit out on the beautiful patio!

My husband and I don’t get out for date nights very often, so when we do, we really hope it’s something special — and this visit to Vic and Olas was exactly that. From the moment we walked in, the warm, inviting atmosphere made us feel relaxed and ready to enjoy our evening. The lighting and music created just the right mood for a cozy night out. Our server Megan was an absolute delight — warm, charming, and genuinely sweet. She knew the menu inside and out, gave fantastic recommendations, and made us feel so well cared for the entire night. The food was absolutely amazing — full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with fresh, quality ingredients. Every bite felt like a little indulgence. Between the wonderful service, delicious food, and perfect ambience, this was truly a treat for us. We left with full hearts (and stomachs) and will absolutely be back again.

Hands down the best restaurant in North Scottsdale/DC Ranch! I’ve never had a bad experience here, ever. The food, service, and atmosphere is always amazing! My usual is the sausage pasta rigatoni but sub-out the sauce for a vodka sauce. And for dessert, order the butter cake with salted caramel gelato. Cannot recommend the place enough!!!

OMG, by far the best bolognese lasagna I’ve had, it was perfect, large serving, took half home. The bread, the beet salad, and the waiter’s suggested wine was as perfect. Second time here since we’re from Milwaukee, but will be back next year for sure.

Great Italian restaurant in DC Ranch with a varied menu. I had the Halibut and it was fabulous. One friend got the lasagne and he liked it but didn't rave about it. Another friend got the chappino and said it was excellent. I was full from the dinner but friends split the tirramasu and they couldn't stop talking about it. Service was OK but our server was a little forgetful.

Excellent. Attentive service with high quality authentic Italian dishes. The sausage and pepper appetizer was delightful. The dish had an ample portion of homemade Italian sausage that was juicy and oozing with flavor accompanied by a zesty red sauce. The pomodoro was fantastic. A very simple dish giving off a robust flavor profile. The chef skillfully crafted fresh ingredients mixed together with light, perfectly cooked pasta served hot. The seasoning was spot on and created a really pleasant taste from start to finish. The focus on the food at this restaurant is appreciated. The restaurant was busy and has a large outside patio with heaters. I would go back here on a regular basis.

Great find in a world of chains. Plenty of parking, staff attentive and knowledgeable, pasta is cooked to perfection, Tiramasu will hit the spot. They have a fun Tiramasu Old fashioned that is pretty fun but a little sour on the finish. Sadly no Port wine. But everything else hit on all cylinders. Worth a visit!

Really great place. Staff is awesome, and the food was amazing. The only disappointment was in squash ravioli was little sweet than what we expected. But overall good enjoyable experience with great ambience, food and service.

Such a lovely restaurant. Their menu is not too big in a good way, having both delicate (ex. pretty salad) and hearty (ex. 8-layer lasagna, mmmm!) dishes. The service is top notch! Can't wait to go back.

This isn’t my first review of V & O’s but I think it’s important to recognize greatness so, once again, I want to give a shout out to this little piece of heaven!! Sitting at the bar for lunch is my happy place. It’s so relaxing that I sometimes stay past lunch and into happy hour. ;) CeCe is an absolute treat…. personable and professional at the same time (what a gift!). Colton, Chuch and Zev are great too but CeCe is usually my girl at lunchtime. The lunch special is a real bargain (three courses for less than $30.00!) but I would gladly pay full price for anything that Chef Constantine and his crew made (it’s that good!). Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Chef Sheila, the brains behind the operation (V & O’s, Pescada, Alma, Soul etc..) and she is as friendly as she is talented. So…. for a relaxing daytime dining experience where time seems to come to a halt for a few hours it will always be Vic & Ola’s for me!

We spent our anniversary at Vic & Ola’s in Scottsdale, and it was absolutely magical from start to finish. The "romantic Italian" vibe, complete with those stunning stained-glass windows, provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration. The highlight of the meal was easily the Chicken Piccata. It was perfectly tender and executed with just the right balance of bright lemon and savory capers—truly one of the best we’ve had in the Valley! To top off the afternoon, they surprised us with a dessert cannoli that arrived with a glowing sparkler in it. It was such a thoughtful, festive touch that made our anniversary feel truly special. If you're looking for incredible Southern Italian food and top-notch service for a special occasion, this is the place.

I have mixed feelings about this southern italian restaurant. Atmosphere was beautiful in the evening so we decided to sit in the patio. At first, everything was fine, but noticed the service was not up to standard. Server took her time and was not very attentive. We finally got our orders in and our appetizers were delicious, especially the Hummus, so creamy, with the spicy vegetables on the side. Artichoke was okay and thought it was too much of the cheesy side. I took one bite and that's all I needed. The brazino was tasty in every way but the highlight was the ink pasta with seafood. Everyone liked the salmon too. The bad part was also the linguini which was overcooked. A friend of mine and I ordered the veal osobucco that came with risotto. The meal alone was cold, risotto was too crunchy so we sent it back. They offered to redo the meal plus gave us credit for the dish. It was great that they did that so we gave a nice tip. Would I go back? Probably not on my own but if friends wanted to dine there I would. I is a hit or miss. They also need to upgrade their service and be more attentive.

'Vergognoso e' digustoso' - translation, disgraceful and disgusting in Italiano. We've been to Vic & Ola's many times and it was always great all round. Today was beyond andexception, it was disgraceful meal wise, and that's giving it the benefit of a doubt by a mile. When the Chicken Piccata was served I should have known something was terribly wrong as the surface of everything on the plate, chicken, pasta even the roasted lemon was totally congealed. Obviously it had been left out for too long before serving, perhaps not even under a warmer. And that's the good part - the chicken was "shoe-leather" tough and wouldn't cut easily with the knife. I added some pressure and the entire piece went flying off the plate and onto my dress slacks - get the picture. Eventually the server who was by herself waiting on all the tables inside and out got me a steak knife - for chicken piccata! By now the pasta was a soggy mess and so the server got the kitchen to make me a couple of piece of chicken, that's it. Yes they comped my meal, manager on duty was virtually invisible and more. As I said to begin "disgraceful and disgusting" shame on you Chef! My Sicilian 'Nonna' who could barely boil water would have done a better job. But thank you to CeCe our server you tried to be helpful in everyday humanly possible and we appreciated all her efforts. By the way Vic & Ola where were the busboys to help the staff out - in the kitchen learning how not to make Chicken Piccata. Ciao, Rafaelle
