Delicious cocktails, we had the crab soup, sangria, mango martini! We also had the clams and scallops. Great seafood, cozy little atmosphere. The staff were all kind and pleasant to deal with. Would definitely come again.

I had the caesar salad and the fresh sole at Catch 21 and it was DELICIOUS!! 10/10 would highly recommended this place to anyone. Everything on the menu is just as amazing as it looks and the atmosphere is truly stunning. If you are in the area and are looking for the perfect seafood or steak meal with a great ambiance, Catch 21 is the place to go!

The food is delicious. The drinks were delicious. Everything was great the owner is very friendly.

Awesome spot, my friends and were there last night during the Italian festival and we were treated like family. The owner Benny spent time with us and Angelica our server was on point all night. Great people great place. If you’re in Scranton go see these people!

I have absolutely nothing bad to say! Our server was a doll, the food was delicious, and I thought it was fairly priced. The building is clean and has a nice atmosphere.

Was invited by family members and enjoyed the food and the ambiance... our server Zemary was the best, the young lady was extremely nice and helpful. Our experience was wonderful and amazing thanks to our sever and all of the other staff... food was tasty and had a # 1 bloody mary.. Will be returning to this establishment for another great meal... thanks to 21.....

My husband and I had a very nice experience at Catch21 this weekend. The service was great and our meals delicious. We enjoyed the French onion soup, pear salad, rack of lamb, Chilean sea bass, truffle fries, martinis and wine. It was all amazing. Well done Catch21! We will definitely be back.

I made reservations on line very easy to navigate. We were early and were seated right away. We all had appetizers , their Crab bisque was Outstanding ! I had the Lobster ravioli with champagne sauce Excellent. Another person in our party had the Scollops with slab bacon and spinach Outstanding. We had dessert the carrot cake overwhelming it made me think Grandma had just taken out of the oven.

My girlfriend and I went here a few weeks ago. Freaking awesome! Food,drinks,staff all on point. Gotta point out as well which you don't see everyday at restaurants. Everyone down to the bus boy knew what was happening at your table so you weren't ever left waiting if you needed something! Very impressive, great date night spot!

Superb food, service, atmosphere. Don't expect any other patrons to smile at you. Yes, girls using ladies room were pleasant. I never have been able to figure out why it starts in Clarks Summit and all down through the valley there is no common courtesy. I smile, I hold doors, I never walk in front of another shopper without apologizing or saying "excuse me", I truly believe people have too much ego o

My best friend came to visit me from D.C for his birthday and we had a wonderful time. The food,atmosphere and service were all excellent. They even created a special dish for my little 8 year old. Everyone was very polite about me bringing my child and she was perfectly behaved. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is great! The staff goes over and beyond to make sure everything is great. The food is great! My husband loves the tuna and I can never decide. Too many favorites. If you’re in Scranton and are looking for great food and great service , Catch 21 is the place to go.

Wonderful atmosphere and menu. Traditional beef offerings as well as some seafood items. Quality of the food and presentation is excellent and the service is wonderful. Within walking distance of several major downtown Scranton hotels.

Thank you to the ownership and staff for a fantastic dinner on short notice. My family decided to have a small dinner on Monday night with many being from out of town. The service was great and staff was very friendly. The wine list was well composed and satisfied each taste at the table. Our appetizers and entrees were delicious! The pork chop entree and seared scallops were each incredible. This is a must visit spot in downtown Scranton.

I wish I took photos of our dinners! Delicious blue point oysters were large, briny and super fresh on Saturday night. I had a dozen. I choose the twin lobster tails for main course. My husband had the daily special, halibut. Both dishes were beautifully done. The lobster tails were large and plump. One is going to be lobster salad tomorrow for lunch. A nice wine list too. The prices are nice too. We will be back.

We visited Catch 21 Seafood & Steak last night as a party of four, and everything was absolutely outstanding. The food was exceptional fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Every dish we tried was delicious from start to finish. What truly made the experience unforgettable, though, was the staff. The service was unreal. Our waiter Luani, was phenomenal attentive, friendly, professional and made us feel genuinely welcome the entire evening. You can tell he truly cares about providing great service. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Ben who was incredibly kind and hands on. It’s rare to see an owner so involved and passionate about ensuring guests have a great experience, and it really shows in how well the restaurant is run.Amazing food, amazing people, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend we’ll definitely be back!

The food was delicious, especially the ribeye, ranking among the best I’ve had. The staff was very attentive and hospitable making the local restaurant very welcoming to anyone looking for a quality outing. And between the elegant choice of background music and subtle decor, the atmosphere made for a great overall experience of a fine night of dining.

Steak, lamb, and paella were all delicious. I had the special: braised short ribs and gnocchi. The short rib was tender and the sauce was sublime. The gnocchi were not pillowy or soft. That is the only critique. Our appetizers were super good. We tried the burrata, the smoked trout, and the calamari. If they switched out the regular tomato for heirloom tomatoes and added a little seasoning and bread to the burrata it would have been lovelier! Overall we would return! We were too busy chowing down for pics!

Hosted a large group dinner here alongside a conference. I’m from out of town, and the team at Catch 21 made it effortless to put the event together. They were wonderful to work with. Once we arrived, the service was attentive and friendly, and the food was spectacular. I highly recommend you check it out.

We had a great experience here. Both out meals were delicious. She got the filet, I got crab and shrimp. Bartender made perfect drinks. Service was top notch.

We visited this restaurant for the first time tonight to celebrate my husband's birthday, and it was an unforgettable experience! Being from New York, we're typically very picky when it comes to food, but this place exceeded all of our expectations. The menu was incredible, and every dish we tried was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. It’s rare to find a place where every bite feels like a masterpiece, but Catch 21 delivered. On top of the amazing food, the staff were warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful, making the entire evening even more special. They went above and beyond to ensure our celebration was memorable. We will absolutely be back again. If you're looking for outstanding food and excellent service, Catch 21 is a must-visit!

Great little seafood restaurant. Would go with what is tried and true on the menu. Very attentive staff.

The service was really good. Our waiter "Antonio" was excellent. Quick turnaround on requests and he had a great sense of humor....even though I was the target of some of the jokes...it was all in good fun. The calamari was some of the best that I have had. Everyone liked their dinner... except for me. I ordered the snapper special and it was way overcooked. Dry and rubbery would be my description. We were on a schedule or I may have mentioned it. Plus it is tough to have everyone eating while one person waits for them to fix their entree. Overall a good experience. I would go back, but I would not go out of my way to get there.

Food was good but not impressive for the prices in my opinion. Crab cake appetizer had some cool spots as if not heated thoroughly. Chilean sea bass was good. Scallops were good as well. Sangria wasn't up to my standards. Tasted like watered down wine rather than a multi liquor real sangria so I sent it back. Nice atmosphere. Not sure if Id go back though.

Seems this place is stuck between wanting to be a fine dining restaurant and not. The food was great, portions, taste, presentation, all good with the exception of the bread, the bread at the beginning was cold and seemed store bought. Rwast of the food was great. Now for the service, it was slow and very inattentive. Being that the restaurant was not full, it was disappointing that we had long waits with service. We were never asked how our food was and clearing the table was very slow. We needed water refills and plates cleared and it simply was not done. We came in expecting a more upscale fine dining experience and it just fell short. Would visit again, but will a lower expectation.

This restaurant in the heart of Scranton is a must-eat! Steak was to die for. Lobster excellent! We brought our guests from Australia including a MasterChef and they were impressed. The only criticism we had was the bread came out cold and not enough crust on the creme brulee. Thank you Benny for the hospitality we will be back!

Food was excellent. With that said, the portions were extremely small. Everyone left hungry..

I have been here a total of 4 times. 2 of those times we were dressed in casual/relaxed clothing, the front desk guy or maybe even a manager was very rude to my wife and I, very short and lacked emotion towards us in comparison to how he treated other guests. The 2 other times we went there we were dressed in fancy clothes, suit/tie and her dress wear we were treated and spoken to in a way which seemed much more inviting. Ordered a glass of wine for my wife and for the price it appeared short some wine as we compared it to the people next to us and their wine. We asked if the bar tender could add some more, but that was a no. The food we do always enjoy but sometimes the service makes us not want to return.

We had a great table in the front corner. There was 4 of us. Our waitress was attentive but not disruptive. The calamari was excellent. The Blue point oysters were perfectly shucked, I wished they offered a mignonette sauce for them. Caesar salad was excellent! Homemade dressing and anchovies on the side ! Yum. Our main course was very disappointing. We had the paella. Maybe 2 pieces of chorizo? Never saw a scallop. Seasoning was mediocre. Do not recommend. It was a nice experience with friends but I would not return.

Not worth the price of cold dinner rolls or portion sizes.

No pictures because in my opinion I’d rather forget this place. Let’s start off on a good foot though. The wait staff was excellent and timely. They came by multiple times to refill water and collect dishes. The decor and ambience was also nice. Food wise, calamari too salty, shrimp over cooked. Desserts looked store bought. Chips were burnt not from over cooking from dirty oil. For a restaurant that is opened for 4.5 hrs a day. The oil should be cleaned. Also who eats chips with a steak? I would expect that from a roadside cart not a restaurant. A one and done.

We went to Catch 21 for dinner tonight. Drinks were good, but that was the highlight of the night. The shrimp bisque was weak, with very little shrimp. The Garlic shrimp was ok, we think the shrimp were frozen. The main dishes were also disappointing: the twin lobster tails were way overcooked (rubbery), as were the shrimp, and the crab cake was mushy and not well-cooked. They comped us one of the two meals, but regardless of the price, it wasn’t very good. Sorry, Catch, but it was not good.

I had a reservation on Valentine’s Day this past week and while the food was amazing, the service was lacking. Our waitress was absolutely terrible and I would give her name but she didn’t even tell us it while we were sat. Not a single time did she check up on our food or if we needed a refill of whatever. The only time we saw her was when she asked about our drinks and when we finally asked the food runner for her to get us the check. For every other table around us they were treated completely differently. They were read all of the specials , shown the desserts for Valentine’s Day and given proper service. I’m not sure what our waitress thought when she saw a younger couple sitting in her section, but regardless she treated us extremely poorly. If you are a younger couple don’t bother coming here and expecting good service. Other than our waitress the manager and food runner were both great!

food was amazing! Manager and the gentleman who was taking care of our plates / running the food were very kind. We unfortunately had a terrible waitress. She didn’t tell us her name at the beginning (which is whatever) and immediately gave off a vibe as if we were an inconvenience to her. Didn’t tell us the special for the night and just asked if we wanted anything besides water. We saw her wait on other tables and WOW, what a difference ! Told them the specials for the night, was nice to them and even showed them the special Valentine’s Day dessert tray! For us, none of that. Didn’t even check up on us once and didn’t even refill the water. But she did that for every other table, EXCEPT us. If you’re a younger couple wanting a nice dinner out, I don’t recommend or at least hope you don’t have the same experience as us. She even took long to give us the check as we sat there with empty plates for a long time. The table runner had to tell her to get the check for us. We’ve never been treated like that ever. Will not be returning. I don’t understand how someone could act so rude to us and be nice to EVERYONE around us.

The food is horrible and the service was atrocious. If this is the best steakhouse in PA I really feel sorry for the locals. Sat at the bar and the bartender did not even make eye contact with us for 10 minutes. Like she was mad we were even there. Our waitress had a 1 hour conversation with the neighbouring table about cats and payed little to no attention to us. The owner should be embarrassed and should be there to regulate their staff. 200 bill for trash food and service. Definitely lost a customer here. Whoever goes there good luck!!!
