Dave’s always delivers every time I go there. The reason why I’m writing this review is because of the customer service I received from Dalia F at the Seal Beach location. Nothing but good vibes and smiles and she really went out of here way to make sure that I was taken care of had from the ordering process to the pick up and made sure I had all the sauces I needed. Great spicy chicken with a nice crunch! Never 2 busy and service is fast! This location isn't as crazy compared to their Fullerton location and I think it's actually a bonus as it's never to crowded and never a long wait for your food! The urban decor is fresh and the service is great! It's always consistent!!

Want Bougie food at a not so bougie price?! For those not in the know, Dave's Hot Chicken was started as a street food vendor by a chef from the French Laundry. Ya know, the place with a billion dollar tasting menu up north? So in case you didn't know that you were missing out on this, you have been missing out if you haven't gone here yet. The one tricky part is that you have to park behind the Daves hot chicken. Drive up the main shopping center driveway, go left park. Walk to front. There's plenty of parking available. And there's two directions you can go around to the front, just follow the sidewalk it'll take you there. It's kind of a bummer to see no parking spots up front and I think that's stopping some people from coming here. But this location is pretty open and it won't be for long when people start their understanding how freaking amazing this chicken is. But park in the back, walk to the front it is wheelchair friendly. Ok that being said, the craft that was seen at famous French Laundry has been brought here. The chicken has spice levels from no spice to you have to sign a waiver to order it Hot. The spice is amazingly tasty. The chicken has this perfect crunch on the outside, then you meet a juicy meaty interior. No matter the thickness it is good end to end. A tender is huge. It's not your kids tender. Easily as long as my hand and half the width. Sandwiches too. The fries have a delicate seasoning on them they don't need anything extra and they also have that same perfect crunch and soft hot interior as the chicken. A combo comes with a slice of white bread and the most delicious house maid pickles. Nom nom. It takes a little bit longer than fast food to be made but it is so worth the wait. I rang this higher than any fast food place in it's quality, taste, texture, environment and employees. The walls are decorated in this cool graffiti look so is the ceiling I think there's all different artists and it's really fun to look at. You'll see in my pictures.

Very good. Probably the best all around meal I’ve had from a restaurant in a while. These guys did everything well. Fries were great, chicken was juicy and crispy and seasoned well, it came with extra pickles if you’re into that. 10/10

4.5 just because extra hot was mild to me and the sandwich needs more kale slaw. I need to feel the burn... delicious and hot. Got #3 with a side of cheese sauce. Everything including the fries were hot and crispy. Fries were seasoned well. Tenders weren't dry. Pickles were crisp with a little kick. Wasn't busy but I went on a weekday in the evening.

This Dave's location has the best Crew Members! They are always smiling, happy and eager to help! Great job you guys! This is my new favorite location!

The cashier, Hannah, was extremely nice and bubbly. What a great person to have greeting everyone. Food was very good I recommend eating here.

This was my son and I first times at Dave's, and I rarely write reviews. The food was really good but honestly the service is what stood out and we would come back just for that. Hanna was easily the best worker at a restaurant that I have interacted with in a very long time. Especially for her age group, she was so lovely and informative and helpful and so professional. She even kept checking in on us. If she is not a manager already, she should definitely be considered. Even my teenage son commented on what a great job she did of taking our first order and explaining the food and the different spice levels and with a big friendly smile. As a business owner and parent I appreciate and recognize a hard worker. I would hire her in a second. Thank you Hanna for making our first Dave's experience positive and memorable. The world needs more Hannas. I made sure to tell her to tell her parents what a great job they did.♥️

not only was the food super good but the person at the front ( hanna ) was absolutely amazing at making me and my friend feel welcomed ! she is an angel! absolutely the best costumer service i think ive ever had in my life , she made us feel accommodated and was very knowledgeable on the different kinds of flavors dave’s hot chicken offers helping us pick one that was right for us. I will definitely be coming back again :)

It is refreshing to see someone in the customer service field with a kind smile and willing to answer all of your food related questions. I highly recommend the Seal Beach restaurant. The sandwiches were delicious, and the service 5 star!!

Hannah was amazing, so amazing she could 100% pass as the owner. She really took ownership of the customer experience the moment we walked through the door. Like 5-star service. I haven’t felt that welcomed into an establishment since staying at the Ritz Reserve in Bali. Like give this Daves a Michelin Star! If i were on Undercover Boss, she’d be the employee whose school tuition I pay for 100% and fast track her to management. Retain this woman! After taking our order, she wasn’t idle, she was taking out the trash etc. The food was good too. Friend in the kitchen, nice job! But even if it were mediocre, I’d be cool with it because Hannah is such a superstar! I’ve never been to a Dave’s. Incredible first impression!

This is the only Dave’s I go to. I never have any problems with anyone here. But tonight when I came in Kieli…I think is how she spells her name?…..was at the register. She was talking to an older man and I couldn’t help notice how patient she was with him. After he had his receipt she said to him…(don’t quote me it was loud but she said something along the lines of please let me know if you need anything else I will be happy to help you. After she helped me she said the same thing. She was just super positive and she needs a shoutout. I work retail, food services, customer service, myself and it is a very thankless job. It’s not often I find someone who cares about customer service like I do. Its refreshing. I did tell her myself when she gave me my order. I had to call after to get her name, second shout out to the super nice girl who answered and gave me her name. I’m sorry I didn’t get yours but thank you! I hope she gets the recognition she deserves. I hope to see more of her.

A very good option for chicken tenders, burgers 🍔 😋 and fries 🍟 👌. My boy and I tried the chicken tenders with sauce and there were delicious and in a very good size. There are kiosks to order at the store, uou can order online as well. Enjoy your visit!

Dave's seems to be consistent around the area. Solid chicken and somewhat not-as-crispy-as-chicken fries. One problem I had with this location is how slow the takeout process was. It took nearly 25 minutes to receive the order to go. I don't think it's a quality issue, rather a short staffing issue.

Food was decent, idk why they call those sliders those are whole sandwiches. Combos don't come with drinks. I don't usually care for the crinkle cut fries but at least they know how to cook them here, mostly crispy. The slaw was good but they put a hilariously small amount, I need the slaw. If you're 2 people just split the 2 slider combo, it's plenty of food.
