Bright, airy restaurant that is larger inside than appears from outside. Plenty of parking in the shopping center lot, although you may have to walk a bit when all of the eating places are crowded. Typical SoCal ordering set-up with menu board above the order station. Make your choices, pay, find a table, and wait for your order. You can get your self-serve drink and condiments while you're waiting. Service is generally good with some enthusiastic staff. Food is very good. We shared a chicken schwarma plate with hummus and pita. We added on sides of another hummus and pita. Note that hummus and pita count as 2 sides here. The hummus was good and generous. The pita was grilled and was that lovely fluffy Greek style pita. The schwarma was tender, tasty, juicy, and covered in drippings. I wasn't into spicy, so I got the OG garlic sauce. Deliciously subtle. Prices are reasonable for these days. I noticed another store closer to where we live. Good to know.

Amazing food, especially the self-serve sauces. More mild flavors than an authentic mom n' pop shawarma shop, but tasty nonetheless. Portions are generous, we always take leftovers home. Try the new pita chips with jalapeno hummus. You're welcome.

I came to the Seal Beach location with my 1 year old while my wife got food elsewhere. The wrap I ordered was very good, good value of food for the cost. After my wife came with her food Isaac offered to bring some food for my son and brought him fries and chicken which was unexpected and very nice of them to do! Will be coming back!

I tried this place for lunch today. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant. The menu has good variety and the prices were reasonable. I ordered a shaved beef and lamb wrap, which was delicious! The serving size was a footlong size, so I brought home half for another meal. I will definitely go back again.

Amazing customer service! Delicious food! Big portions and good variety. Wonderful atmosphere with really good music. The staff checked on us serveral times which was really nice since they don't have to do that at a counter service place. We really enjoyed our experience here and I Highly recommend this place.

My family and I love coming here. The food is fresh and tasty. The white and green sauces are so good. The service is also great. Isaac at the front helped us pick out a kids meal that my kids would actually eat lol.

Stopped here for a quick bite that was much healthier than my other options! Brandon was at the counter and was super helpful and patient! The place was clean and brightly lit. There were a lot of options for healthy meals! I opted for the steak kabob, and it did not disappoint! Absolutely tender and flavorful! I ate it so fast I couldn't really take a picture has my entire meal! I absolutely loved the Greek salad and the brown rice! Parking with super easy with plenty of places to park even though it was 7:00 p.m.

I was welcomed, placed my ordered and enjoy the chicken bowl with all its fresh and vibrant ingredients. Also, the food was flavorful and fresh with tender grilled chicken. The menu offered a variety of traditional Middle Eastern wraps, bowls, and plates. In addition, the portion size was feasible for the price. The ambiance was comfortable and enjoyable for an individual or family. Overall, I would recommend The Kebab Shop to anyone looking to explore zesty Middle Eastern cuisines without any hassle. Great little shop nussled in amongst another great restaurants. Definitely stands out as there is not a lot of kabob type places around. Had the chicken kabob wrap, it was FANTASTIC. I Will definitely be coming back to try some of the other wrap types, maybe even a plate or two. Definitely be more than one trip back. If you want to break away from your normal burger, burrito, Chinese food routine definitely hit this place. Clean facilities, friendly staff, really really good food.

So, if you're looking for something more specific, maybe family-owned, maybe not-so-fast but made with love, then this isn't the place for you. But if you're looking for quality fast food (I guess you could call it "gourmet fast food") and you're craving for your generic kebab, falafel, shawarma, etc., this is definitely one of your best options. Yes, it's a chain (and a quickly-growing one), but the food is VERY good (Zagat and several newspapers in California apparently agree). The place is very clean and the service is good. The only thing I didn't find particularly impressive was the French Fries. They're plain and not seasoned, but they're well-cooked. The sauces are also very good, but be careful with the red one it's VERY spicy... Prices are reasonable.

My first time here and I was not disappointed. From the service to the food ❤️❤️❤️. My food to start with was so fresh and so well seasoned. The steak perfectly cooked, the fries were the right about of crisp and soft in the middle, and the veggies amazing! All the sauces very delightful. The person who helped us talked with pride once I complimented the food and very well mannered and charismatic. I can't wait to come again.

Came here last minute and they only take card but they were nice enough to let us go to an ATM and all. Service was fast despite the huge order we gave them. The cashier was so nice by accommodating my plate to be vegetarian

I just love the modern take on Mediterranean food TKS has to offer. The sauces (spicy tomato, cilantro, and garlic yogurt) are all good, very addicting and all worthy trying. I’ve been a regular customer of TKS for 2 years. The service is always great. Keep up the good work guys!

It was ready when asked and excellent food, quality and quantity, employee customer service, presentation was excellent. I will say, things do happen and the hummus was forgotten with my order. This could be put on my self also because I did not check my order prior to leaving. My wife realized it once we started pulling everything out. Called to address this and had a wonderful experience with them on fixing the mixup. A simple mistake with so much food ordered. Again they went over and beyond to fix the mixup even though they did not have to and this was expressed to the person. Even with the simple mixup they corrected it. If the opportunity to order from them again 100%. I Wanted to provide my full experience even if putting a simple mixup in my review that could probably be put on me. Thank you for your customer service.

Passing through town: Comfortable, casual, friendly atmosphere. Reasonable prices and absolutely delicious, lots of dipping sauces, plentiful meal. The steak serloin kebab was a bit chewy & dry though🙄 I also LOVE the fact that they use paper containers for our meal. Thank you for the delicious lunch and friendly service.🤗😋

Great Kebabs at this San Diego staple! Tasty food here, portions are big, so be prepared to be stuffed or just share and save some $$. Prices on point. Ingredients definitely feel fresh and that's a point of differentiation for such a good flavor. Their sauces are great too, nice complement for every bite. Modern ambiance and friendly people. Definitely a want to go kind of place. I wish they had more beverage options....

Shockingly mid. I went in for a gyro and the one I got was very unexceptional. The ingredients were excellent but I only got a drip of tzatziki sauce. That bite was awesome, the rest? Big meh.

Reminder to always rummage through and fully vet your to-go orders. I failed to do this. Ordered fries, got home, there were no fries in the bag. Would've been more fun to just light $5 on fire. Live and learn. Good food, though.

Ordered takeout online. Went to pick up order and the bag was double-tied and taped closed. I had to tear the bag apart to check the order for correctness. Which I did, while asking the guy on the counter for a new bag to which he appeared to get agitated and walked away after giving me a bag. I then had to call him back to point out the order was missing 6 sauces, to which he replied that they didn't come with the plates. When I showed him that the receipt showed the 6 missing sauces on the order, he turned, agitated, went and got the sauces and handed them to me, then walked away without saying a word. Your employees don't need to be cheery, but they need to be thorough.

I ordered the kebab plate gross! Tasted like bad meatloaf that was over cooked. The rice was blan. None of the sauces tasted good. Even the store bought pita was very chewy. I spent 20+ and tossed most of it out on the grass for the birds. Hopefully none of the birds got sick. It was horrible. If you open up a restraunt master your products & do quality control. An honest review
