This place is a hidden gem!!! They were closed on the 4th but decided to open for us. The host was super nice, and she was very welcoming. It was a magical experience. The food was one of the best I've had . The mezza and artichoke arracini was an exquisite mix of a culinary dream. You will not be disappointed. For those chefs out there, please take note, this chef is Michelin quality when it comes to taste!.

Amazing experience! We got great food, you can see below the house waffles, the Mediterranean plate, eggs Benedict, but the best of all was the wine flight: the awesome waiter took us through 8 wines produced in the area and she even brought us some complimentary cheese (exquisite) to go with the Chardonnay. I loved the food, loved the wines, loved the service. It's a definite recommendation and I'm also considering subscribing to the wine club

Truly one the best meals and experiences I’ve ever had in the area. The food was beyond exceptional and the service felt as though the staff were my family (in the best way). I don't understand why more people don't know about this amazing place. The food was impressive and so very flavorful. It was all made with love. The wine paired perfectly with the dishes we ordered.

We can’t begin to thank meekk and her team enough for making our wedding day an absolute dream come true. Our guests could not stop raving about the food and wine, and how warm and friendly the La Bodega Kitchen staff were. They truly went above and beyond for us in every way imaginable. Out of all the decisions that went into planning our wedding, serving meek's food on our wedding night was hands-down one of the best choices we made!

Wow, what a great brunch in a home like setting! The first rule is to know "this is not a restaurant", but the food and the service for this hidden little gem is amazing. We were made to feel at home and treated like royalty! We loved how when the caretaker calls the chickens "birds! birds!" They come running for a chance at some food! Such a charming little place, now we can't wait to wine taste here!! 😊👍

Ok. Imma bout to gush 💖 and it's a long one. Today is the 5th anniversary of my marriage to Ron Guptill. We have been so incredibly blessed in a few different restaurants to be "adopted" and truly treated like deeply loved family. I've posted about TIPS Roadside recently and this evening I'm posting about Sonoma Wine Shop and La Bodega Kitchen in Sebastopol. Early in our relationship I discovered "Restaurant Week". I am not from Santa Rosa so I didn't know that was a thing. I'm gluten free due to Celiacs, so finding a place where I can equally enjoy the menu can be challenging. Anyway, I was looking at menus online and stopped on one that had the yummiest sounding menu, had lots of specifically gluten free options and had one of my mother's absolute favorite desserts, alfahores (She grew up in Argentina). It was a total win. We went and were surprised by the fun family style way of service. Our hostess Meekk immediately felt like family. The food was delicious and we enjoyed our time thoroughly. Fast forward. We've gone to La Bodega Kitchen many times, often spending special holidays there like Mother's Day, birthdays and the like..and every time, we are treated like long lost family. Her partner Brian hung out at our table for well into an hour one Mother's Day taking about wine, food and like. We love the house chicken who sometimes comes to visit us outside. One evening we were sitting in their new outdoor area, when restaurants were just beginning to reopen. Despite all of our visits, hugs and the family vibe every time, we had not become members of the wine club. We decided that evening to do so. She was surprised and said she thought we had been members for years. She took her time testing our palates, giving suggestions and coming up with our likes and loves. We became members and get wine every few months now. So what are the pictures about? My husband got sick yesterday. We had planned our Anniversary dinner for this evening and called late afternoon to let them know that unfortunately we were not able to come in person and we needed to do to takeout. We wanted to be responsible and stay home. He was devastated that we couldn't dine in for our celebration. Meekk herself came out to the car, and joked about us taking pictures of our Anniversary picnic. She had told my husband she'd have something special for us and she was NOT JOKING. It was dark so I had no idea what she was talking about until we opened the trunk when we got home and saw that there was a huge basket filled with amazingness inside. The food was carefully wrapped and piping hot. Fresh flowers, a white tablecloth, a candle, a little dessert tray and our incredible food. And instead of being in to-go containers, almost everything was on its own real plate or in a bowl including the hot dishes which were in porcelain boats. My husband immediately teared up seeing how much love, care and effort was put into making our stay at home Anniversary dinner so incredibly special. Oh and we broke out one of our bottles of wine from our membership too Our dinner was spectacular. Yummy to the max and so incredibly special. This is hands down one of the best dining experiences I've had in my life. Saying that, it wouldn't be for everyone ( those that like a very formal fine dining experience). You pick up your own cutlery at the beginning and the quirkiness just starts there! Everyone is running around trying to help everyone, in a very cute way. You have an option of an at table wine tasting and we picked our favourite based on the blind taste test. On top of that, the food is delicious. We had the meditarrean plate to start and lasagne and lamb fettucine for mains and everything was amazing and the portions generous. The owners were very open and a delight to talk to. We stayed until 11.45 just chatting away about all topics ( the restaurant closed at 9pm). Seriously go there, eat there and you won't regret it!!

This place is quite a gem. It's a bit eccentric (and bohemian) but the food was good and the staff are extremely accomodating. I would not consider it fine dinning or even a restaurant (in fact they tell you numerous times they are not a restaurant they are wine club) but it was a memorable night.

Best vegetarian food I have ever tasted. Full of flavor, well balanced, all fresh local ingredients. Each table also receives an optional wine flight tasting of several wines served by an incredibly knowledgeable member of the staff. Super friendly environment. Can't wait to go back

We attended a wedding reception here. The owners and staff were wonderful and warm and clearly dedicated to making it an amazing evening for the couple and their loved ones. As a vegetarian, I have never been to a restaurant where every option was delicious enough to surprise and delight every vegetarian and meat-eater in the house. No other mushroom ravioli will be able to compare. Absolutely everything from the mint lemonade to the empanadas (wrong name, I know) to the salads to homemade pastas and cabbage rolls all the way to the desserts were incredible! It was a beautiful evening in every way. We can’t wait to plan a return visit.

Exceptional dining experience!!!! This is such a cozy spot and the service, food and wine are absolutely top notch. I love their unique/all vegetarian menu and so does my carnivore boyfriend. It's our new favorite place. Definitely recommend!!

We celebrated a birthday last night at La Bodega Kitchen. One of the best dining experiences. The welcome appetizers in the outdoor area were a perfect start. The warm pitas, the hummus, the eggplant dips so delicious. Prosecco was served. Such great Prosecco that I am calling today and reserving a few bottles. I was touched by the attention to details. The old fashioned China and silverware reminded me of wonderful dinners in Provence. The family style dinner included salad, mushroom pasta and a vegetarian dish. All outstanding in flavor and quality of ingredients. The Morrel mushrooms made the pasta so very exquisite. The owners were so warm. It felt that they were welcoming us to their own house. Different wines were offered with explanations of their origin and reason for pairing. The kids had a special table with pizza and Mac and cheese.... and room to run outside in the garden. As we were getting ready to leave, kids got balloons and treats. It was a memorable evening. We plan to go back to the restaurant to keep enjoying the great food and service. Thank you!

The food and wine at La Bodega / Sonoma Wine Shop was one of the best culinary experiences ever! From the hospitality, wine tasting, vegan/veg food to the ambiance, it was a lovely experience at this place in Sebastapol. Orry and the rest of the kitchen team created a warm and friendly atmosphere where it felt quite welcoming from the moment we walked in! Highly recommend the shephard's pie, artichoke arracini, minestrone/lentil soups, ravioli, and so much more. One of the best parts was the comp wine tasting, we enjoyed the Temparnillo at dinner and also bought a bottle. Thank you for making my bday special, the dessert was so good!! We already made a new reservation for later in the week!

I dare you to only go once! The food is amazing- wholesome meets other worldly. The staff are so warm and LOVE to share their passion. The chef comes to every table. The dining room transforms to a bustling family room. But what I love best is that you order your meal ahead. This means they only prep what they serve. As a planet crusader this zero waste commitment is so important to me. Not to mention, it's so nice to arrive to the restaurant and not have to hunt through a menu and make decisions. When I am going to the Bodega Wine Kitchen I know I can expect the relaxing fun experience to start before I even arrive:) They are kid friendly and can accommodate almost any food restrictions. I love that I can order an entire vegan meal and not have to make any concessions. Love this place.

Stumbled upon this place and it was the most amazing culinary experience I’ve had in years. I’m not even vegetarian but 100% plan to come back for the amazing dishes made by Meekk with customized, spot-on wine pairings by Ori / Bryan. We gave very little guidance on wine preferences and Ori blew us out of the water with wines we would’ve never picked ourselves that paired perfectly with the dishes and our palates! We loved the mushroom ravioli, apple endive salad and the dessert plate! To top it off, Bryan, Meekk and Ori were a delight to chat with and excellent hosts! They’ve created a magical, homey, space brimming with love and kindness, and it felt like a honor to experience it! Thank you so much!

My wife and I are long-time vegans. We just ate at La Bodega Kitchen as part of a birthday celebration for my mother, accompanied by two cousins and partner. Driving away after a dining experience that my wife and I can only describe as sublime, she and I concluded that we had just eaten the best vegan meal we had ever had in the USA. Hands down. Each course of the food was perfect, from the roasted potato appetizer to the beet salad to the minestrone soup and finishing with the highest quality vegan desserts. All paired with an excellent wine recommended to the table. Three of the six of us were vegetarians and said that the vegetarian dishes were equally outstanding. The service was warm, helpful and embracing. This was one of those rare restaurant experiences that will be remembered for a long, long time.

I thought I knew all the vegan/veg places in sonoma county but I was missing the best one yet! This place doesn’t just have delicious food, but it is a dining EXPERIENCE. We were well taken care of as soon as we stepped out of our car. Our server, Ori, and the owners (I didn’t get their names) made it such a special and customized experience for us. The food, atmosphere, hospitality, and menu options blew us away. Will be back soon!

Astounding experience! In every aspect, La Bodega knocked it out of the park. Not only were we treated like family, the food was so carefully prepared that we left feeling like La Bodega deserved way more than 5 stars. If vegan/vegetarian makes you nervous, let us assure you that you will leave with a full and happy belly (and think how happy your cardiologist will be with your plant based selections!). Wine drinkers, you also will be treated as if you are sharing a bottle with an old friend. The entire staff is knowledgeable about the menu and the wine pairings. The ambiance, the care, the food itself- all incredible. We will be back!

This is by far my favorite restaurant in Sonoma County- exceptional and inspired food, cozy ambiance, stellar wine selection, and attentive staff. La Bodega Kitchen is strictly vegetarian, and while I do eat meat, I still think their food tastes better than anywhere else. They also have many dairy-free and gluten-free options. Each time is a magical experience and I try to bring all of my out-of-town visitors here. The wine club is great too!

This was one of the best meals I've had anywhere ever! The sauces on everything were seriously so amazing I don't even know how to describe. Ori's wine journey was the most fun and delicious and has made me rethink my opinions on wine. I will be back and bring company!

We called ahead and asked about vegan options without onions and garlic, and were offered a three course meal specially made for us. The chocolate lava cake a la mode was out of this world.

My goodness. Where to start?!! This place was such a gem. First of all, the options for delicious vegetarian food were amazing. The baked rigatoni was to die for. The sauce was a perfect blend of tomato and cream and the cheese was so delicious. The people who work there are probably the nicest, most genuine people to ever work at a restaurant. It felt like family and it felt like home. I would highly recommend this absolutely delicious restaurant to anyone...vegetarian or not. The wines were so yummy and they really want to make sure you taste and get to choose the one you really love. THANK YOU, La Bodega!! We will 100% be back.

You know the food and wine is good when the owner is on the floor checking on you and your needs. Not to mention the people serving, with their attentiveness and warm personalities making sure your glass is full and needs are taken care of; it’s an overall one in a kind experience. This restaurant is vegan/vegetarian. The atmosphere is like eating in a country home. The food is wonderful and so is the super attentive service. Lots of delicious wines are supplied by a very knowledgeable wine host. I highly recommend for special dinners without the children. Their menu is available on line.

Oh wow, THIS is how a restaurant experience should be! Everybody was so friendly, so easy and fun. The owners, our waiter (but he was much more that that!), and the woman who brought out the food and cleared the table were all so welcoming and human and easy to talk to it was a very refreshing. And ordering ahead is great, you sit down, don't have to worry about a menu and get some wine and the food comes right out. Absolutely delicious everything, appetizers, dinner and wine. Highly recommended!

Amazing place with amazing vegan and vegetarian options. We loved the spinach & cheese Ravioli, Eggplant Parmesan, Bourekas, Arancini. The In house bread was super fresh. The service is undoubtedly 100/100. They generally suggest pre ordering, we couldn’t but still they were able to accomodate our requirements, we had our 2 year old niece and the made sure to entertain her.

Everything is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can absolutely taste the difference. The minestrone and lentil soups are both rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. Their shepherd’s pie? Total comfort food perfection. And don’t even get me started on the desserts—the clafoutis is light and lovely and the kind you dream about later. This place is a hidden gem. The food, vegetarian or vegan offers so many tastes and options. Everything is home made including the amazing deserts. So on to the wine! They taylor the wine to your tastes during the food experience . If you want a specific wine or want to taste 20 so up to you. They will guide you through the experience as you desire. We are wine club members and have brought many friends and family, love this place!

This place was unlike any other place I've been to you. you walk in and you get your own silverware plate cup water everything first and then are seated by the hostess / host. It was a little weird. That being said everyone that work there was cheery delightful and all smiles. the restaurant looks like it is part of a home. That or they took a home and turned it into a restaurant. They even have a cute little sign that says make yourself at home. It does turn out though that this is not a restaurant first. This is a wine club. I don't know what that means, it was explained, but I still have no idea what that really means. As for the food, I got the lasagna. while I was told it would be the best lasagna I've ever had it was decent and had consistency and was rather delicious. My one recommendation would be to add some more seasoning and heat such as a nice smoked Chipotle or paprika.
