We have eaten at Chuy's years ago before COVID.. Mexican restaurants in San Antonio are very plentiful & competitive. Nearer to us are excellent restaurants also which we patronize at least twice a month. Can not find fault with the delicious food served or how presented at Chuy's. Today, my guest and I ordered a tortilla soup & a fajita plate for dining in & enchiladas to go. Both orders were superb. Cause to consider, when one is hungry for Mexican food, Chuy's when dining out
Great food, excellent service! My waiter Kris was awesome! My glass was never empty and he continuously asked if we needed anything. He had the best customer service. This was the best Mexican food that I have ever had! My chimichanga was seasoned to perfection with cilantro and green peppers but nothing was overpowering. OMG, the Queso, salsa, and whatever this other sauce is called was amazing! The only negative thing I can say because (it’s always like this in restaurants) is the bathroom needed some attention. But I’m still giving them 5 stars because of the amazing food and service.
My wife had some very concerning news about her brother, who had ongoing liver problems and is in the hospital. Very sad, but Mexican food is comfort food for her, so I brought her here. As always, food was really good. Lots of families in the place. Service was especially great. Autumn and Calib did a phenomenal job. They seemed to read the sadness on my wife’s face and seemed especially helpful. That is pretty rare. Very grateful to both servers. Please tell Autumn and Calib thank you from us.
Perfect place for happy hour!! This guy is the best bar tender too!!! So friendly and the drinks were so good. Highly recommend I head there mexicob salad and it was amazing Go see Rayden and buy drinks Eat the chips and queso Get the margarita!!! Mmmmmmm Go eat Go drink To your waiter and bar tender!!!
It was our first time eating here. My husband & I really enjoyed the food. It was delicious. Our waitress Mary D. made our visit even more enjoy able. She was on top of things, introduced us to the different sauces & made us feel eight at home. I hope Mary gets that drink i told her manager about tonight...😀😀😀😀😀 WE WILL BE BACK!!! WHAT ARE YA'LL WAITING FOR GET TO CHUY'S AND SEE FOR YOURSELF 👍👍👍👍👍 DONT FORGET TO ASK FOR MARY D.
This was our first time to Chuys. We went early enough to beat the dinner rush. Our server was nothing less than awesome, very attentive, and not over bearing. The chips and salsa were served immediately while he took our drink order. There was the traditional tomato salsa along with a second bowl of jalapeño ranch dip. Never saw that or heard of it but it was absolutely delish. I ordered the Elvis combo it was good. The red sauce was out of this world. Good experience, good food, awesome service. Will be coming back for more
Wow. The mobility impared will think that they are visiting a Buddhist Temple. This place was built before any consideration concerning the mobility impared was anticipated. There is an outdoor area for those with companion pets. ELVIS LIVES! Yup. He is literally everywhere here. The food was wonderful, hot and fresh. The tortillas were made fresh. I really like the place.
I really like this place , first time customer. The food is ok . Not something you will talk about or brag about. It taste good and looks good. Missing some of the traditional Mexican seasoning that other restaurants use. The service is good and it gets really busy. They have online wait list which I recommend getting on before you get there. The enchilada was good but different. The chimichanga was ok . My favorite thing was the jalapeno salsa and the red salsa.
This PLACE IS DELICIOUS! All of the enchiladas are worth trying! I use to come here after work. i quit! What I realized is how much i miss coming here for margaritas and chicka boom boom enchiladas every week. I'm super addicted!!!!!!!! I' - just to get my fill on that yummmmy yummmmmmmmmy creammmmy chicka chicka BOOM BOOM 🐔 💥 the flavors here are bold and flavorful! Thank you Chuys for helping me through a tough time and warming and nurturing my heart with what reminds me of my great-grandma's kitchen ❤️
Great service by bartender, very friendly and was very tentative. Great advise and also offered us a sampler of all their sauces with chips. Great stuff. Tacos al carbon were the best I've had, and I been around texas style Mexican cuisine for over 30 years. Highly recommend to everyone .
Always great food, environment, and servers! Happy hour is amazing, especially with the nacho bar! Stuffed fried avocado, only on Wednesdays!! All the food here is hot, fresh, very good portions, and well worth the visit! If you do stop by for the happy hour nachos, careful not to fill up on chips, salsa, or cheese before your plate arrives! It's worth every bite.
This still looks like the best enchilada in town. Awesome authentic red chili based enchiladas. This sauce is made from new mexico red chilis, the traditional way. I had custom enchiladas, stacked, with Red Chili. The only way. Chase this down with a New Mexican Martini ( green chili infused tequila) and you have the perfect Mexican meal.
We picked up takeout for lunch from Chuy’s on Friday. We ordered two of the Beef Burrito entrees with Ranchero sauce on the side with sides of Mexican Rice and Refried Beans. We also ordered one of the Changa’s with chicken with sides of Mexican Rice and Refried Beans. We also got an order of tortilla chips with salsa and Queso dip. The food was very good and each entree portion was each more than enough for two people. We will definitely return again and would highly recommend you stop in and enjoy their food.
Our meal was absolutely DELICIOUS and VERY filling!!! We each got the Big as Yo' Face Burrito - my wife got chicken fajita and I got beef fajita, and since I ate too many chips I could only finish a little over half of mine!! No problem, I can have it for my lunch tomorrow. I will definitely be returning to Chuy's much more often bcuz that Burrito is a great meal for a decent price!!!
Festive and loud, the atmosphere almost feels like a fiesta! The food is so good, three of us went here and we ended tasting a bit of fare from each other's plate. Our server was fast and attentive, quick to refill the chips and drinks. Not being from Texas this was the first time I have been to Chuy's and it is definitely a stop the next time I'm back.
Pretty awesome experience at the height of lunch hour at approximately 1pm. To be honest, the way the entrance to the parking lot(s) is very confusing. First parked on the South side and the entrance was relatively in the middle, basically facing i35. But after the long walk from the South parking lot we got a nice table with a very kind and attentive waitress. Helped very much with entrée selection and delicious margaritas alike. Definitely a clean, inviting, and comfortable environment to enjoy a margarita and enchaladas for lunch. It wasn't until I left and of course forgot my to-go box that I pulled around a confusing cul-de-sac. That is when I found the real primary parking area and went in to retrieve my forgotten leftovers. The lady working back there was so kind, recognized me from the table I was at and we both had a laugh at the expense of my inattention. End review: great atmosphere, great service, a quick, delicious and easy meal and good drinks! Minus the confusing separate parking lots, now knowing its layout, I will most certainly return. Thanks!
Chuy's outdoor patio is one of the coolest places in South Texas! The wind flows freely through this place making the heat tolerable. The food is good, drinks are great and the people are amazing! Great place to come with a big group, bring the family or date night. Thank you Chuy's from Bots of Glory, The Waffle Guild and Truck Puppies!
Cesar V was awesome! Super sincere, helpful and accommodating. It made our experience awesome!
Best Tex Mex in Texas! Very good flavor, quality and service!
Chuy's is a great place foe Tex Mex. The flautas were great! Chips and salsa are always phenomenal!
I work nearby and recided to check it out. It's a cute and cozy Mexican restaurant. Although they have their Tex-Mex kick to their menu, there's definitely unique items on their menu. I loved my enchiladas. They were so creamy and spicy. The rice and beans were perfect. Our waiter was great, he totally gave us the run down on the happy hour at the bar where you get unlimited nachos etc. I'm definitely coming back!
Good drinks, chips and both salsa are the best. Their fajitas are great.
My family & I came here for my birthday dinner. This was our 1st time here & it was a great experience! I enjoyed the funky vibe of the place, the food was amazing & the service we received was phenomenal! Chad was our server and omg he is the G.O.A.T! We will definitely be returning to Chuy's.
Chuy’s had a long wait time, but their treatment is amazing! They have the best salsa, and I wanted to rate them because a couple weeks ago, I was there, and I enjoyed the best treatment by our server Michael! He was so friendly and kind to us. The two times before that, our servers were also very nice. If you tell them you want to have a try of their different salsas, they will bring a plate out like this pictured here, and once you’ve established which one(s) are your favorites, you can ask for a separate bowl of it. They don’t charge like Rosario’s does, and their salsas are amazing. They also don’t charge for their chile toreados, and their food is very good. For these reasons, I will rate a highly deserved five based on great treatment, giving heart to their customers, and great food!! Go to Chuy’s! Chuy’s is my favorite Mexican restaurant in SA!!
We had a large group of 20 or so. We pulled some tables together nicely
Hostess was very polite and helpful! Chad was very quick and attentive! The food was great like always! Thanks!🙏
Man chuy's is great. Want there Pancho nachos and flautas a a surprise gem, full of chicken. Service varies but for the most part servers are great.
Great food and great service. What can I say? My wife's Mexican and doesn't put up with any nonsense. And she likes this place. Enough said. :-)
I feel like you can never go wrong with Chuy's Tex-Mex! Their cilantro jalapeno ranch salsa is always a family pleaser. We put it on everything! There's something for everyone and you never leave hungry.
Amazing service and great TEX MEX food for a great deal! You’ll love the creamy jalapeño chips and dip at the table! Get the famous steak burrito for sure!
Excellent food! The price is great, they give you plenty of food, and everything we had was delicious! I’d highly recommend stopping here for some delicious Tex mex!
Great food! Best Mexican food I’ve had in memory! Beans and jalepeno ranch are great, and it’s shockingly affordable. They give you lots and lots of food
This Chuys location is soooooo good. My friends and I use to go to the one over by 281 & 1604... as it's closer but they have not bounced back with the flavor of food since COVID. Highly recommend this location.
Chuys in San Marcos is now our home Chuys. Service is always good and prompt. Can get busy but in most cases we get seated immediately. Have a Big As Your Face burrito with Tex mex sauce. You will be happy.
I went in not knowing what to get (drink && food wise) the other day and I left with a food belly, I had to leave a quick review! I scarfed my food down but was a little bland for my palate (everyone's different) but my server Tobi was AMAZING with their service to recommendations!! I wish I took a photo to show the items I got and the server as well, but nonetheless I would recommend them to be your server ANY day if they’re there and you see this before deciding to go to this location of chuy's!
I left here saying “WHY didn’t you bring me here sooner!?” The food, atomospher, and service here were fantastic. I felt like it was such a good value, you get plenty of great food for a reasonable price. This will be on my list every time I visit moving forward. Very family friendly. Plenty of parking. The server kept the chips & salsa coming, and our drinks refilled. He was very knowledgeable about the menu. Also, I think if you’re an Elvis fan the story behind the Elvis stuff is really cute.
Chuys is the best Mexican food you can get! The service here is very phenomenal the servers I get everytime I come are very attentive, The food here is freshly made, and well spiced, the baja shrimp tacos and tortilla soup are my favorite. And the atmosphere is very festive on the inside. I Would highly recommend chuys for lunch or dinner!
Thank you Molli for braving the heat with us. we had our dogs with us and a hankering for some tex mex. Of course we had Chuy's in mind, the patio was a nice but of shade and breeze. Molli took great care of us making sure we always had plenty of water (for the dogs too) and a full basket of chips! A couple plates of enchiladas, a Cobb salad and we were full and happy. Love the sneaky spiciness of the salsa, the tangy avocado ranch and always gotta have some delicious queso! I'm always so surprised when I get the bill at Chuy's, less than fifty dollars for three people amazing! Granted we didn't have any margaritas...
Chuy's visit 2/5/19 We ate at Chuy's for the first time this evening. We first arrived at the restaurant and were seated. Our wonderful waitress Skylar set us up with the normal table items and let us know the happy hour items were still available just around the corner if we were interested. I thought that was very nice touch. As my photos show, the happy hour items were in the back of a car trunk. It was a really neat display. We really enjoyed the rest of the food when it arrived and we surely did not leave hungry in any fashion! If we were going to be in the area longer, I'm sure we would be returning to this restaurant. As shown in one of the photos, we thought the food blessings from multiple beliefs written on the sealed paper around the silverware was a really nice tough! Once again I want to say Skylar was a wonderful and caring waitress and a definite asset to Chuy's!

Whenever we try tex mex anywhere we go, we compare it to chuy's. prices, portion, and quality is all there! Never disappointed.

I always love going to Chuy's. The jalapeno ranch is like crack! It's amazing! I like the fresh salsa because it's all truly fresh ingredients and doesn't taste like they use canned ingredients. Their menu still isn't back to what it was pre COVID, but they are starting to bring things back permanently. Most recently they added the Relleno back to the permanent menu. I still miss their charro beans because I'm not a fan of refried beans. **Most recent visit was a disappointment because one in our party specifically asked for no sour cream and plate came out with sour cream. Moments later someone else found a hair in their enchiladas. We asked for a manager, but the waitress came back instead. The manager came over to bring out the new plate, but never said anything. We've never had an issue until today and we go several times a month. Seemed like lots of new staff today.
Service was quite good and that in itself overshadowed the food. Chips and jalapeño ranch were truly better than our enchiladas, but we can’t say even those were all that bad. With this said, the enchiladas were marginally above average, but we were hoping for better. Major winner here at Chuy’s (aside from chips and dip) was the exceptional service.
I have been to Chuy's several times typically I don't mind the food too much mainly come here for drinks but when I do I either get quesadillas or my wife likes to get the chicka chicka boom boom which is like a enchilada plate that she raves about. The house margaritas whether frozen or on the rocks are always good to get and they're I believe it's a Elvis Presley drink the king that is also a good drink.
Food and atmosphere were very good, busy enough to be fun but not so loud you can’t hear your table talking to each other. Service was fantastic, very attentive but let us enjoy ourselves.
Food is great! The Deluxe Chicken enchiladas are amazing and I recommend the Hatch Chili Martini, so good. The only issue was the restaurant was short staffed on Mothers Day with servers. They had 4 host/hostesses standing up front but were short handed on wait staff. The only reason we even had to wait was because of staffing issues as the restaurant wasn’t that’s busy. But all in all Chuys is always a great choice. Food is great and the wait staff is always friendly.
Fajitas are always good so are the chips and salsa! bartender she is always fast and attentive can't remember her name though.
Chuy's margaritas are good but have gotten smaller. They no longer have complimentary chips and queso. You could tell by the server's face that she wasn't happy that we weren't ordering food, just drinks and chips and queso. The gooey queso and guacamole dip was not good. Their traditional queso and cilantro ranch dips were delicious as always.
Writing this while waiting at the 45 minute mark for my to go food. Bartender is nice. Update: the management team and staff are very nice, owned the delay and made it right. I appreciate their effort.
Very busy night for the staff maybe a bit understaffed. However our server did a very good job of taking care of us. I'll definitely try them again.
Ordered take out. The employee that took my order was outstanding. She was very courteous. The food is always good and at reasonable price. This Chuy’s location is great!
Veggie enchiladas with tomatillo sauce and a spicy martini 💯. Service is always the best and the decorations make for a fun environment.
We were a very, very large party. Josh, out waiter was phenomenal. However; he should have had help!!!! He introduced ab assistant who fled within 4 minutes..... he handled everything with the most kindness and patience with our folks....so, so, so appreciated!!!! Food was ok...had he help with serving, it would have been hot at the table, NOT his fault. So we get that. Will definitely recommend chuys only because we had great accomodations and an absolutely wonderful server!!!! 👏👏👏👏👏 Will definitely ask for hot food though or at least see if that can be fixed. I haven't been here in years and will of course come back.
First time to this location. Despite them being super busy on a weekday evening, we were seated quickly. They have a pleasant atmosphere & the service was good. Food & appetizers were delish. I wasn't impressed with the margaritas. We tried several. They were just too plain. I would visit again. I'll just drink a cold beer next time 🍺 Enjoy...
Normally, we have a miss and miss experience with the waiters and waitresses when we visit this location. But Friday afternoon, the food was good, and Vivian was great. Keep up the good work. One of my favorite first memories coming here we explained to a different waitress (who I can't remember the name of) that my date has a dairy allergy. After the meal she asked her if she would like some dessert, "maybe some thres leches?" 11/3/23 Had lunch again here, and it went well. I finally gave the Elvis plate a chance, and it was really good. A nice variety of flavors that hit the spot. Kaylynn was our server, and she did a great job with answering questions we had about the food and was there easily for anything we asked for. Thank you.
It was not that busy. We sat at a tall 4 top in the bar area. The drinks took over 30 min to come to the table. The hostess didn't bring silverware so we had to ask two different people to bring it…
The prices for their drinks are really expensive but their food is really good. Get the green dip for your tortilla chips!

Arrived before closing and had called to see if they’d seat us and was told yes. However, after we were seated two white waiters stayed arguing and refused to wait on us. I observed their argument …
Outside dining with family group of 7. Good food and service. Actually seemed to have enough servers to keep up. Mid range not inexpensive but quality decent.

Came in for a late lunch. food was consistently good and our waiter did a great job. Sat in the bar area. Margaritas were good. Get a dish and pay extra for the boom boom sauce.

The food was actually pretty good and enjoy all the sauces for enchiladas. Has a really neat atmosphere. The only downfall was the service. Accidents do happen so I do not want to harp on that but after my drink was spilled on me by the staff the service went downhill from there. Since the food was good I am willing to give this place another try.
There's usually a long wait here which isn't always a bad thing if the food is stellar. However, the food here was just so so. The chicken tasted like it was from a can and the same with the refried beans. They did not taste homemade at all. They do have delicious salsa and chips which was my favorite part of the experience. Plus they don't have draft beers on tap? Why not? Beats me. The decor is a punch of color and the pictures and art on the walls is cool. I would go back for the chips and salsa but with so many delicious Mexican restaurants around, I feel they could step up their game.
Food was ok. Menu is limited, so not much of a selection as it was years ago. Our waiter would take a while to check on us, we ran out of drinks a few times and he was nowhere in sight meanwhile our food kept getting colder for waiting to get more drinks. I would come back with family but only because of limited food selection. This place is more like a hanging out and getting a drink type of place with friends and something to munch on/ appetizers.
Disappointed with the service — again. I sat in the bar section at one of the high-top tables and was completely ignored. No server ever came to greet me. After several minutes, the bartender finally asked the host why I was even seated there, then reluctantly took my order. When I needed a box, it took another 20 minutes just to find someone—only to be told by a passing server that it wasn’t her section and she had no idea who was responsible (and couldn’t ask). I asked the new bartender, and he rudely said he had no clue either. I asked him for a box and it was finally given to me. This is the second time I’ve experienced poor service here. The food is great, but the lack of basic hospitality ruins it.
My family and I have been coming to chuys for years and love the food. Service has definitely gone downhill, though. I've had a few negative experiences with to go orders, and now I might be done with this location. One time I was handed a bag of food that had salsa running out of the bottom of the bag then it ripped apart before I could set it down. The lady who handed it to me shook her hand coated in salsa off and laughed when she walked away. Then today I waited over 30 minutes in the parking lot for my order, that I made an hr before. I went inside and suddenly it was "ready."
First, the food tasted great! But the service was a bit... lacking. I think our server just had too many tables to balance properly, but she was very nice. I may be old school, but putting chips and salsa on the table without anything to drink is just plain wrong! Give me some water at least. It took close to 10 minutes to even meet our server and place an order for soda and water. The place definitely has a vibe and I love the atmosphere.
At one time, Chuy's reigned supreme in my heart. Since then, I've matured to old age and so has the chain. Specifically this place has aged almost as ungracefully as I have over the last decade since I first visited it. Today I went in with some work friends and decided it was the best of times and it was the worst of times. The good is solid, the service was fast, but they are definitely leaning in tight on profit margins and industrialized delivery. Like a mall restaurant in the hey day of malls. And similarly, my joy of them has passed. Great place to get a solid and FAST meal. Not something you want to "treat" yourself to.

Service was not good. We waited a long time for our meal, arrived and it was incorrect. Instead of sending it back, wife ate it anyway. Our drinks were not filled until we asked, after flagging down our waitress. When we asked for drinks refills, she sent another waitress, basically dropped the ticket without offering to take our card. Waited longer for that to take place, and noticed the attitude given by our server. Just not a real good experience tonight.
I have been there a few times in past. Went on 12/16/26 n won't again! Ordered my go to at a Mexican Rest. chimychanga(chuychanga on menu) said was chicken(sad-not shredded beef). Anyway looked/tasted like a blowfish, rec'd over-wrapped( 2-1/2-layers) in raw dough under a light- crisp outter layer, bottom was also raw! Rice/beans dry like day-before sides! Service: place was not packed, only a few folks but stood almost 10-min to be seated n waitress seemed to be in a rush to get us out! No offer of dessert either...expected good food but got over-priced-raw-food! Never again...don't waste ur money...
We came in at 5:30 on a Friday evening with a party of 12 after calling ahead, but one of those was a fussy baby that ended up leaving with mom shortly after sitting down, resulting in a remaining party of 10 - 2 of which were 4 year olds. When our server dropped off chips and salsa and asked for our drink order, it was incredibly hard to hear him. It wasn’t loud in the restaurant, he was merely speaking just above a whisper. He wasn’t unfriendly, but he didn’t smile much, if at all. The drinks arrived with little to no ice at all. We aren’t from around here, so maybe that is a Texas thing? I’m not sure. We didn’t complain, just found it a bit odd. To his credit, at one point he did come around with a pitcher of Dr. Pepper to refill the sodas once, so that was nice. We had a cheese allergy for a kids meal ignored, however a replacement was able to be ready before my sons meal was - the server clearly had forgotten to put it in initially and had it made on the fly because his request for no beans was ignored. Also, a 1/4 of the cup of soup I ordered was spilled into the plate it was on. One member of our party ordered a margarita half way through the meal, but it tasted like lime flavored water - tasting no where near what the exact margarita someone else had ordered on the first round, but the server was kind enough to remove that shortly after it was tasted. After we had finished and sat a while, he finally came around and asked if we were ready for the check, but twenty to thirty minutes later we finally had to ask up front to flag him down so we could get the checks, as everyone was getting antsy. The whole dining experience took about two hours after everything was finally all said and done. Whereas we understand some things are out of the servers control, the service was overall very disappointing. A training course on server etiquette would probably be very beneficial so that these simple mistakes can be easily avoided in the future. Our friends local to the area were much more disappointed than we were.
The service Is absolutely terrible here. I will not be returning here. \n\nChips are empty, salsa is empty, waitress walks past. \n\nHave better luck at McDonalds getting your table waited on.

It's a shame that Chuy's can't get delivery (which they don't offer) or curbside (which they can't execute) right. They've got to do better to survive in the modern internet age.
Ordered Chuys for dinner.. terrible. Everything was cold. Beef fajitas were just a stringy pile of fat pieces. Toppings were missing from one of our meals.. AND… literally bit down on a rock in my rice. Immediately lost my appetite. We confidently can say we will never eat here again. Taco Bell would’ve been better…
Food was great. Service was so lacking it killed the visit. It was our first time in. Staff at the door was indifferent, after being seated it was 10 minutes for server to make it to the table. We ordered after drinks came. Food was fast, hit , and honestly really good. Our server was just MIA the whole time.
I order Chuys at least once a week, I always order my Boom Boom enchiladas they are my absolute favorite. I did an online order while in my lunch break and picked up my food from the forum location .I noticed the chicken was pink and raw when eating my enchiladas.I called the manager, which her name was Karen, and she told me that that’s the way the new recipe that they are doing and it’s going to look more pink than usual. I’ve never heard of chicken being pink and normal before and never had my enchiladas like that. Instead of replacing my food or returning my money she did absolutely nothing to help me out. I’m very disappointed and didn’t even eat my food.
This place has been poor the last few times I’ve been there. This time was no different, they did not follow directions when we asked for sauce on the side for my enchiladas. They somehow forgot to put beans as a side for my VERY flat steak burrito by which they refer to it as “Big as yo face”. Maybe if faces were two dimensional.
Forget going on a Friday night because you likely won't get served, at least my wife and I were not. The server for the padio dinning area, looked at us and our empty table twice and didn't bother to ask us if we've been helped yet. The host ended up being us chips and salsa, after another table was sat and helped in the same area as us. We sat there hungry, ready to order and tip well, but I guess they weren't interested.
My Husband & I Celebrate Valentines EVERY Year For The Past 11 Years At Chuys. Unfortunately After What We Experienced At This Location Thursday (02.12.26) Night We Will NEVER Go Back ! I’ve been coming to Chuy’s for a while now, but after two back-to-back bad experiences, it’s clear things have taken a serious turn for the worse—especially when it comes to service. Our experience at Chuy’s yesterday was so bad, it deserves to be called out — especially because it’s not the first time. Our server, Jaslyn, was hands-down the worst server we’ve ever had. She showed up long enough to take our order and drop off drinks, then again to drop off our food — and that was it. She vanished for over 30 minutes, didn’t check on us once, and left us sitting with empty glasses halfway through the meal. Not a single refill. It wasn't even THAT busy at 5:30pm but she was nowhere to be seen to get her attention. When she finally reappeared — 10 minutes after we were clearly finished eating — she casually came by and asked if we “needed anything,” as if she hadn’t just abandoned our table the entire time. Yes, Jaslyn — we needed service. We needed drinks. We needed basic attention that any halfway decent server would’ve provided. But you were nowhere to be found. What makes this worse is that it’s becoming a pattern at this location. Last week, we had almost the exact same experience. That time, I had to physically walk to the bar just to get a drink. The waitress had the nerve to say, “I could’ve gotten that for you.” Really? Then why didn’t you? Chuy’s used to be our regular go-to Friday night spot. My wife and I have been going there almost every Friday for the past few months. Now it feels like you’re lucky to get one drink and a plate of food, and then you’re on your own. It shouldn’t feel like a gamble whether your server will actually do their job. If Jaslyn is the standard of service now, it’s no wonder this place is going downhill fast. We’ll be looking elsewhere for our Friday nights from now on.
We've been regulars for a few years now at this location at times averaging 1 visit a week. However, we have noticed a significant trend in both lack of service and speed of kitchen. In the most recent visits both times we struggled to get attention of the server and worse our food took in excess of an hour to come out from the kitchen. Both visits were roughly 4pm in the afternoon and the restaurant was mostly empty (pre dinner rush). Today multiple people were coming up to the desk to make similar complaints and once we hit our limit, we informed the manager of our issue and left. She asked how she could remedy the issue; however I informed her the last few instances we had the same exact experience and had already talked to her a few months prior and clearly nothing had or was going to change. Unfortunately, I fear we will no longer be regulars and will have to find another restaurant to fill that void.
We placed an online pickup order to take home and celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Our pickup time was 6:10 pm, and we arrived on time and checked in using the link provided, excited to bring dinner home for her special night. After waiting about 15 minutes with no update, we had to call the restaurant ourselves. That’s when we were told items were missing because you had run out of Baja shrimp for the shrimp tacos. No one contacted us beforehand to let us know, which was disappointing. We were offered grilled shrimp instead, agreed to that, and then were told they had run out of that as well. At that point, we switched to fajita chicken tacos. By the time we finally received our full order, almost an hour had passed, the rest of our food was cold. What should have been a happy birthday dinner turned into a long, frustrating wait. It was really disheartening to spend my daughter’s birthday evening sitting around trying to sort out missing food instead of celebrating her.
What are the chicken tortilla soup and all we got was juice. There was no chicken, no veggies, no nothing... I also ordered the chicken flautas and didn't get any of the sides that come with it.So I just got the flouters, beans and some rice. No sour cream, no tomatoes, no avocado, none, nothing very disappointing
