We stopped by chance; we didn't have a reservation, and luckily they seated us at a table. The service was very quick. We tried the secreto (a cut of pork) and the lamb chops; the meat was grilled and delicious. They kept bringing out paellas, and we were eager to try them. The only thing I would change is perhaps the side dishes with the main courses; the potatoes didn't seem very homemade. But I would definitely go back.
Traditional food with great flavor. Friendly and welcoming service. GLUTEN-FREE MENU suitable for celiacs and approved by ACECOVA. The Valencian paella was excellent, although I would have preferred it with a bit more socarrat (the crispy bottom layer), it was absolutely delicious. The patatas bravas were spectacular, as were the cheesecake and the brownie. Will we be back? Absolutely!
Even though the bar was packed, the service was lightning fast and very friendly. We ordered a whole spinach omelet sandwich and a half onion, potato, and zucchini omelet... and they were delicious! To wash it down, they served us Xibeca, a beer that's not often seen around here anymore, and it was a real hit. It's recommended to go early (before 10 a.m.) because otherwise, it's quite difficult to find a free table. Homemade flavors, a traditional atmosphere, and details that make the difference. That's how it feels!
On Sunday, after walking through the Serra mountains, we were looking for a place to have lunch. We found this restaurant and, despite not having a reservation, they gave us a table without any problem. We asked about the Valencian paella (since the menu indicated that it had to be reserved in advance) and they told us that yes, we could order two portions. We accompanied it with some bravas, a pumpkin pudding and a cremaet. A great lunch! Highly recommended.
The food was beautifully prepared, spectacular!! The Valencian paella with artichokes was amazing, and the calamari and patatas bravas were also delicious!! The homemade desserts to finish were also very tasty. And the service from all the staff was excellent! A family-friendly restaurant I'll always return to 🙂
Finally, some traditional bravas! The rest of the tapas were good, and the wood-fired paella was delicious. It needed a bit of broth to absorb, but it was very good. The desserts were spectacular; they surprised me. The service was friendly and punctual with the paella. I recommend making a reservation, as it gets packed on weekends.
A very good place for lunch and dinner, offering excellent quality both in terms of the product and the preparation. Fast service and good prices. They also cater to celiacs. Their paellas and very friendly staff are particularly noteworthy. I won't post any photos today; we went again, and as always, they don't disappoint. The service is unbeatable, the food is fantastic, and we'll definitely continue to try them. And the esgarraet is incredibly good.
Unpretentious. Simple, but great food. For lunch we chose the 3 course menu for only 10 euros. Simple entree with some cheese, hams and bread. As second a nice paella, served on a plate. My wive had …

A simple place, but we went back two days in a row over the weekend because the food was so delicious! 👌🏼 The esgarraet (a Catalan salad), the arroz de putxero (a traditional Catalan rice dish), the calamari with its homemade batter, the cod meatballs, and the brownie—everything was so good! Oh, and the aioli (garlic and oil, right?) Great value for money!
The truth is that we had a very good lunch, and all the staff who served us were extremely friendly, except for the guy taking our orders. Judging by his manner, he must be the owner or his young son. He exudes rudeness wherever he goes, knowing he has plenty of customers. I think it's extremely disrespectful that we're sitting there for 20 minutes waiting to be served, two tables come in at that moment, and he goes to the one next to us to serve them. One of the customers at that table sees us saying we've been waiting for a while and tells the guy to take our order first, to which the guy replies, "Please wait." Which was perfectly audible. I think it's very rude and unprofessional. Otherwise, everything was very good.
Good food, very local, friendly staff.
We passed through Serra and decided to stop for lunch. It seemed like a good place, but we weren't very happy with our choice. They recommended the wood-fired paella, but let me tell you, it wasn't even close to being one of the best I've ever had. We ordered some tapas, and the patatas bravas were meager and sprinkled with flaky salt. The quality-price ratio leaves much to be desired.
Whenever we visit inland areas with a long tradition of meat and sausages, and their unique cooking methods—almost always grilled—we expect that special touch, that special something that will allow us to savor a magnificent product prepared to the highest standard. Well, that wasn't the case here. Although the food was decent, neither the quality of the sausages and the secreto (a cut of pork), nor the presentation (fries and vegetables), nor even the fact that it was grilled, made us truly enjoy it. The products were average, the sausages were few and of mediocre quality, and the secreto was undercooked and bland, like a stale country bread, revealing the worst side of this establishment. The tapas were mediocre: calamari with a rough batter and a Russian salad... even the beer, a liter of Catalan beer, was disappointing. Only the dessert, made with pumpkin and homemade aioli, was worthwhile, as the nearly €55 for this meal for two was very, very expensive. In short...
We ate, and honestly, it's okay. For the price, you can't ask for more. It's a place you stop by for lunch and a day trip. Lots of waiters, but poor service, and if they take too long, you have to get up to order what you ordered 20 minutes ago. Old furniture, uncomfortable chairs, a thorough cleaning is needed, and the smell when you walk in says a lot.
2 person ice tea and tinto verano - patatas Bravas - badly made ! Calamares Romana - bad like rubber Bread hard and old . Ensalada Russia - OK was not bad End Crema Limon really Nice home made , only good thing about the dinner . Paid 37€ hoped to give them more stars but I wil never go here again . Sorry make the kitchen better !
