Had an incredible meal at this unassuming new Turkish takeout spot. We kicked things off with two standout dips — the cacık, a creamy, garlicky yogurt dip reminiscent of tzatziki, and the Pink Sultan, a vibrant beet dip that was both visually stunning and delicious. The hummus was silky smooth, and the Philly spinach and feta spring rolls were perfectly crispy, packed with flavor. Honestly, I could’ve made a meal out of just the dips alone. But why stop there? We went all in with a chicken gyro wrap, a mouthwatering dish of gyro meat smothered in a rich, savory sauce, and a mixed grill platter that gave us a taste of all the meats. Every bite was packed with authentic flavor and cooked to perfection. Just when I thought I couldn’t eat another bite, the owner mentioned the orange cake made by his mother. Say less. I had to try it. And wow — it was phenomenal. Imagine a cornbread-like texture with a tres leches-inspired soak that made it irresistibly moist and flavorful. Next level. My experience with Turkish cuisine has been limited, but this spot has me hooked. They have a few small tables for dining in, but it’s absolutely perfect for takeout — whether it’s a quick lunch or an easy dinner to-go. Can’t wait to work my way through the rest of the menu.

Mezze Mediterranean Grill is exactly what East Setauket needed—a top-tier Turkish/Mediterranean spot serving fresh, high-quality food. Everything is made to order, and they use halal meat, which adds to the authenticity and quality of their dishes. The cold mezzes were absolutely delicious, packed with flavor and the perfect way to start the meal. Their dinner platters were outstanding, with generous portions that make them a great value. From the fresh ingredients to the incredible flavors, Mezze Mediterranean Grill has definitely earned a spot as a go-to restaurant for me. Can’t wait to come back!

If you're looking for phenomenal Mediterranean food, Mezze Mediterranean Grill in East Setauket is an absolute gem that should not be missed! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the friendly staff, and the fast, efficient service set the tone for an unforgettable meal. We started with the cold appetizer platter, which was nothing short of incredible. The hummus was velvety smooth, perfectly balanced in flavor, while the baba ganoush had a smoky richness that paired wonderfully with the pita. The pink sultan and eggplant salad were refreshing and full of vibrant flavors, offering a great variety to kick things off. The hot appetizers were equally impressive. The grilled wings were perfectly charred, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside — definitely one of the best we’ve had in a while. The falafel was another highlight, crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside, and bursting with authenticity. For the main course, we tried the mixed grill platter, and it was absolutely divine. The Adana and kofte were cooked to perfection — juicy, tender, and packed with bold flavors. Every bite was a joy. The meats were complemented by a side of rice that was light, fluffy, and seasoned just right. We also tried the gyro wrap, which was packed with flavor and wrapped in an authentic Turkish flatbread that was soft yet sturdy enough to hold all the delicious fillings. Although Mezze Mediterranean Grill is mainly a takeout spot, they offer seating inside, making it a great spot for a quick, flavorful meal on the go or a more relaxed dining experience. The food is always fresh, and you can tell the ingredients are high quality. Overall, Mezze is a must-try for anyone craving fresh, delicious Mediterranean cuisine with top-notch service! Highly recommend it!

Was happy to see a Mediterranean option on Belle Meade Road. Food was great and staff were friendly. They just opened and wanted to give a shout out! We had lunch specials: chicken shish kabab and gyro-doner. Both were delicious and not salty as we experienced at some other places. We got some samples of cold appetizers. Baba ganoush was amazing! Will definitely be going there more!

Best takeout around. Delivery was fast and the food arrived hot. They went above and beyond when I accidentally ordered something not on the menu. The lamb and chicken were fresh and flavorful, the rice was hearty, and everything tasted high quality. Gave us a great family meal with my Yiayia.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I just couldn’t resist after our dinner tonight. I love Mediterranean food and have tried many great places, but this spot truly beats them all. My husband and I shared the mixed grill plate, and it was more than enough for both of us — generous portions with 5 or 6 kinds of meat, each one cooked perfectly and bursting with flavor. The bulgur, fresh salads, and baklava were just as phenomenal. Prices are very reasonable for the area, and the service was fast and genuinely friendly. It’s mainly a take-out place, but they do have a few tall tables inside and a lovely outdoor seating area. What a hidden gem! We can’t wait to come back and try more dishes.

Nothing like warm delish Turkish food, coupled with warm and friendly service to make this Miami girl feel right at home. Winters are cold and long, Mezze Mediterranean Grill will warm you from the inside out!

Came here with my family. We ordered calamari, fries, mix grill, Mediterranean salad and chicken chops. Every single item was so delicious! This is more like a take out place, but there are a few tables inside. Very friendly staff too! Highly recommend this place!

This is by far the best Turkish food on Long Island. Ingredients are top tier, and preparation is excellent. Note that it’s more for takeout than dining in. There are a few tables inside and out, but food is served in takeout containers. If I had to eat in one place every day, this would be it!

The food is delicious but not much of it. There was next to no lamb in my meal. For the price there should be more. The staff is nice and patient. The place looks clean. Please fix your portions. Im attaching a picture.

I just ordered a Gyro platter with French fries. It was delivered on time, but it was horrible. The meat was so dry it was shredding. Not your typical Gyro meat it was more the texture of dry pot roast. Not flavor and the french fries were soaked in the red cabbage juice so they were soggy. The tzatziki sauce was watered down. The best part was the chunk of feta I paid for on the side. Very disappointed and out 29 buck for one person. Never again
