Cheryl was very sweet. We were rolling off the Interstate 40 minutes before she closed and was so kind and gave us all the time we needed to order and eat. It’s a little way off the highway but worth the experience of meeting and talking to Cheryl.
This is a fantastic stop for lunch or dinner on your drive across Texas. The town of Sheffield is tiny, and this an authentic, small-town restaurant serving up genuine home cooked food. The brisket sandwich was top tier; our chef explained that the brisket was prepared and smoked right on premises.
Thank you ! Wow yummy chips and salsa. They made my bean burrito ( as a vegetarian) extra special by adding good veggies and jalepenos ! My husband had the special which was chili verde burrito, he said it was also delicious. Super friendly. And the prices feel like they’re from another century !
A diamond in the rough! This delightful, small town, family-run café attached to a delightful little motel was WELL worth the short detour from I-10! This tiny, clean, well-kept establishment served-up friendly faces and conversations, pleasant atmosphere, and absolutely delicious food! We were not misguided by the other reviews, and we plan to pass through on our next trip through West Texas… I recommend you do the same! And you have to start with the chips and salsa!
Fantastic! If you live here or are passing by, stop in. Friendly people and good food are hard to beat. Chips are hot, salsa is good. There is a saying, if it don't get all over the place, it don't belong in your face. The burger and brisket sandwich fit that, messy and delicious.
Great homemade food close to the highway.
Half way through our trip from San Antonio to Las Cruces we found this cozy place. The food was amazing we got burgers and we highly recommended, hosted by the owner. They were very friendly. Chip & salsa are super
Definitely a must stop if you are around, we had the brisket queso chalupas, BLT and chips and salsa all delicious along side the great and welcoming service.
The Brisket Burrito beats many brisket I had all over texas. If you are on the interstate and hungry you need to stop by
Cute stop off that will kill that hunger. Super friendly staff.
If you are ever in the area of Texas and Decide to find a place on the i-10 for eating Stop, share a chat and grab a meal. Best burger I've had in years and the hospitality is free. If you're military and you're transferring and happen to stop here, don't be shy and leave a gift for the owners to included in their soon to be put up "military get a discount " sign. I sure did.

Great food and super friendly people.
Super spicy salsa, some of the best I've ever had. Sandwiches and tots were awesome too.
Not a quick stop, but a REALLY GOOD RELAXED stop. Extremely friendly owner and waitress,, large portions of really good, freshly made food. We visited on our way back home after a visit to Big Bend. They treated our dusty party of 5 like family. We appreciated the hospitality and the yummy food. We visited on "Taco Thursday" and both the brisket tacos and the chicken ones were great! My husband had an excellent patty melt. Complimentary freshly fried seasoned tortilla chips were awesome.
I hope more people venture off of I10 to have a great meal here. Everything we ordered was perfect and we all left with a smile.
Best Kept Secret in Texas. They have All: Burgers and Fries Tacos and Burritos Brisket and More Great Service and Friendly If you are traveling off 10 W/E, you must stop. It's only a few minutes off the Highway. You step back into Time, we're Service meets Friendly. AND Reasonable.
The brisket tacos are the best I’ve had anywhere. (And I’m from the DFW area) my wife enjoyed the brisket nachos, and the boys had chicken tenders. This is easily the best restaurant within 30 miles any direction.
A tasty, quaint spot right when you need it! Not only is it your only option this section of I-10, it’s dang good! Worth the quick detour for a pancho burger and excellent fries. Sweet people, lots of love in the food!
As the only restaurant in town, you could imagine a restaurant like this getting high ratings just for existing. But that is not the case here. They legitimately deserve five stars, with a great menu, delicious food, and they're so friendly. Seriously, even the chips and salsa was some of the best I've ever had.
Brisket sandwich was AMAZING. Generous portion of moist chopped brisket!! The best chopped brisket sandwich ever! Service was slow but thats ok. The owner was so sweet and so genuinely kind. Brisket taco was a steal and delicious. Great food from great people.
We stumbled across this place randomly during a trip right during the lunch rush and the lady working was alone and such a sweetheart! The food was pretty good and the place was questionable at first but had a down home feeling.

Stopped because it was the only place, turned out to be great. Small little joint with incredible food, highly recommend taking the short detour

This little cafe was such a delight for us on a long road trip from Long Beach, CA to Katy, TX. Cheryl and Madera couldn't have been kinder or more hospitable. 💗 My grilled chicken sandwich with cheese was delicious! 😋 My friend ordered a BLT and tater tots. She said they were yummy, too. They served seasoned chips and some hot salsa while we waited for our food. 🤤 We had two large, senior dogs traveling with us. Cheryl offered to let us bring them inside. That was such a nice treat, as the dogs were wanting a break from the car. So we brought them in and they hung out under the table while we ate. Madera's two young boys were hanging out with her while she was hard at work. They were both so darn sweet and well-behaved. They were fascinated with the dogs and super gentle with petting them. We never would've found The Tin Cup Cafe without GPS, but we were sure glad we did. The food was so good and the service was even better. I HIGHLY recommend making a stop here on your way through Sheffield, TX.
