Excellent location because of the food & service. The food stay hot in the containers and that makes it a bonus. John is the best…always attentive whether we dine in or pick up.

Brought our family in (2 adults 4 young kids) was seated right away. Our server (I believe her name was Kaleigh) (forgive me if I spelt it wrong). Our server was incredible. Super kind. Was consistently at our table making sure we had everything we needed. Food was out in less than 10mins which is impressive for a family of 6. Great food great service. Overall 10/10.

Had a great meal with my wife this morning, very nice people there. Our server made sure my coffee was fresh and hot with plenty of french vanilla creamer, we enjoyed our food and service. The manager stopped by to make sure we were okay, I said the food was excellent which is true, he was very nice. The omelet was perfect, I got a side of biscuits and gravy which I love. Thank you to all the staff. It's nice to be treated like family. Definitely recommend this place.

I'm never disappointed with the service here, even when the food comes out wrong I've had exceptional service on getting it fixed. The pancakes are to die for, considering I usually only order those. Amazing breakfast food that isn't too costly.

My Mom and I stopped at the Sherman Store 1446 for dinner. John greeted us and opened the door for us to enter and seated us. Told us Maria would be right with us. Maria came right over, welcomed us, took our drink order and gave us a few minutes to review the menu. I had the classic burger with bacon, no bun. She asked if I wanted to wrap in lettuce, for ease of handling. Burger was done perfectly, onion rings were crisp, food was hot and plentiful. Mom had pancake combo, food was hot, crispy bacon, over medium eggs and coffee. Maria was attentive with refills. Best IHOP we’ve been to on a long while.

I believe this is the best IHOP I have ever been to. My job requires me to travel around so I order take-out from different places. I tried this IHOP and it was fantastic. The customer service is great as different employees kept checking on me to make sure I was good. Even other customers were nice and chatty. I had their breakfast meal and it was fantastic. I thought maybe it was just who was there at the time. I came back a different day and felt the same love and care. The food again was so good and made well. I have to try their dinner meal next time. I loved this place more than Cracker Barrel up the street.

I have been to this location a few times in the past two months and had the best experience! Carlos is a fantastic waiter- quick to get us everything including fries for my toddler. The food has been excellent and always fast to the table. We usually go around lunch time and have had no problems. All of the staff, especially Carlos, are friendly to our toddler and attentive to the table’s needs. This is my favorite ihop!

My family and I frequently go to this location here in Sherman it is by far one of the best locations of IHOP. We have gotten to know the waitstaff and on Saturday Nov 8,2025 and it was my daughter’s birthday. Joseph H is her favorite server for many reasons, she always orders the cupcake pancakes with an extra side of whip cream with sprinkles every time we come he always makes it special for us but this particular visit was even more special! He brought out her hot chocolate with sprinkles and her eyes lit up like a Christmas tree. Our order came out hot and fresh and all special requests we had as well! The had a balloon artist there and Joe got her an extra special birthday balloon and to top it all off they brought her a scoop of ice cream and the staff gathered and sang to her and my heart was so full with just how much that moment meant to her and I know she will never forget her 8th birthday at ihop bc Joe and the whole staff is fantastic and so is the manager he is also very attentive and always comes by when we come in. I can’t express how this particular ihop is so special and we always feel like their family when we come in. Thank you again Joe for the best birthday breakfast a girl could ask for!

This IHOP has been a staple for breakfast in the Sherman area for years. Parking can be a little tricky if you're not familiar with the area. Good food and an expanded menu.

The restaurant surprised with avocado toast and vegetarian sausage! Great coffee, clean and good service.

The food was blah. No flavor. Our poor waitress is well passed retirement age. She could barely walk, she needed help every time she put an order into the computer, and she didn't know how to split a ticket. Sweet woman, but food service is just not for her anymore.

We have eaten here multiple time just this week. The food (breakfast value menu) has been great! For the most part the service has been great! Todays server was a little less than great! I get that the value menu says no substitutions but they have been doing every time we come except today she says no but when i tell her they been doing she says ok. When we get the receipt she subbed my daughters bacon for eggs free but charged me to sub mushrooms for the ham on my omelet! To top that and the one that really bothers me is she brought my daughter a togo box under a stack of dirty dishes she was carrying from another table! That is just gross so we had to get another server to bring us a clean one! Then we were trying to pay but she was too preoccupied to come back to the table so we tried to pay at front and they were like u gotta pay at the table so they had to get the server to come take our money! VERY disappointed with todays service!

Had all to wait to be seated for 5min with on one here eating at 4am . Tea was way to sweet more sugar the tea had to ask for half unsweetened tea and meat was ok but I'm not a big steak person it was a country fried steak meal and chaisty was great 5 Stars just for here alone she is the one that got me my meal💓

Now, i'm not super overly critical of wait staff being that I've been there done that, however, server had to ask if we needed anything else with a row of empty cups at the tables end, then mixed up cups and put dr pepper in the tea cup ( it still had tea and ice in the bottom) and didn't give us our check.

I ate here Tuesday and was very pleased with the food and service. Today was the polar opposite. The cook today was Dakota and my pablano omelet didn't have any avocado and the small amount of meat was on one end of the omelet. Between the server and cook from Tuesday, my expectations were that this place must train their employees. Today shattered that belief. I'm just now realizing that all the spiciness was in the first bite. The obvious issue with the avocado should have been caught by the cook and the server before I ever got to lay eyes on it. I can only describe the experience as a deterrent to return customers.

Got seated and it was 10 minutes before the waitress that was sitting in a booth decided to quit playing on her phone and come help us. Ordered tea and 1/2" of the bottom of the glass was full of tea grounds. The waitress never brought our check we just got up and went to the counter the waitress didn't even tell us how much we owed I just gave her a $30 and she told me " I'll give you your change in a minute" and proceeded to go on with another transaction for the other person in my party, and proceeded to not tell him how much he owed either. I would definitely not visit here if you expect any kind of customer service at all and not completing a transaction before starting another is extremely suspicious if you ask me!!! Y'all either got a waitress pocketing money or she's just extremely bad at her job!!

Ordered two senior turkey meals to go. Service was very slow almost like they didn't care I had also called in the order, they weren't busy that day. When I got home here's what my meals looked like. Quite shorted and not nice looking. Decided to just stop going there for food. Where's the meat.

I cut it some more to check it out & I can plainly see serial numbers NOW HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WAFFLE ???

Service is the worst here I came here early in the morning at 3 am we were seated immediately and when our server comes she makes small remarks about things that were unnecessary that it made her look like she had an ugly attitude or could've been racist because she did not like it when my party of 3 would talk Spanish. It is just an assumption but I wouldn't doubt it because she did it all night and she would tell other employees things about us as well as trying to listen in on a conversation. The other guy on the picture would not stop staring at the rest of my party so much that I even got a chance to take multiple pictures of him staring awkwardly. There is something wrong with people when they go out of their way to bother others and give hard times is usually comes from misery. I hop I hope you choose better employees you need a strong team who feel like real people not people who try to antagonize. I believe the server was also manager or just a server. I had to pray over our food and drinks because It felt like she would've done something shady. In these days you never know because people have lost their senses and faith.

Check your food before eating it. Found a bug in mine. The manager didn’t even bother to come over. Some gal rolling silverware and didn’t even seem shocked.

Be careful if you correct them on missing items from your to go order They will think your lying even though the receipt shows it

As a restaurant, there’s a lot of things wrong with this place. The floors are completely dirty, Tables are sticky, And if it wasn’t for my server I probably would’ve left. Not trying to be picky because I used to be a server myself. When you first walk in, you’re supposed to be greeted, or at least acknowledge that someone will be there to help you, but there was this one guy sitting down absolutely doing nothing but another girl had to come over after helping her table to greet me. After I was finally said and greeted by server, I literally watched all the servers walk past the same piece of bacon for 25 minutes. The top to syrup was broken which I know ihop is supposed to refill or replace these and there was hair in my food. I took a picture just approve my point. At the end of the day, I hope this review helps improve this the conditions of the restaurant. I was to tired to argue or complain especially after working 45 hours in 3 days

The server brings out raw pancakes, really ?? WTH!! The bacon is cremated. The lady cook was in a big hurry to go outside for a smoke. When she came back inside I told her the pancakes were raw and bacon was old and overcooked. She argues saying the bacon was cooked one hour ago. Boy did I make her mad. The server was scared to say anything to the cook about the obvious looking presentation of our $27.00 meal. It was a slow day but never an apology or reason for such terrible food. All for a darn cigarette!! I’m a retired owner operator of 40 years in the restaurant industry and I have never seen such poor quality of food and service.

this is the fruit they served for kid’s meal. took 45 minutes, not fresh, out of fries, out of iced coffee, pancakes were hard, out of everything, didn’t even have a pen to sign the receipt at the end. absolute worst experience ever. never coming again
