always heard great things ab this place me and my friends saw it as a last option last sunday because everything else was packed but man we were not disappointed this place was amazing the prices are fair, staff is friendly, and the food came out super quick and it was delicious this was all of our first times here and we will definitely be back.

Everything is yummy and the French fries are the best around !!!! Just had breakfast yesterday there. Biscuits grits sausage gravely eggs and a sausage patty... Yummo ! And the service is so nice and friendly. A family atmosphere....😊👍

This is a great place I frequent at least twice a week , The price is fair and Linda the owner has kept up the tradition of jimmys to keep many locals returning . The waitress are constantly refilling your coffee and very attentive to your needs . Jimmy's is the best possible version of a solid, regular, old fashioned diner. The staff here is so incredibly nice, accommodating, and competent. We had a large group come in for brunch for my aunt's birthday. Despite the size, Jimmy's said it'd be no problem as long as we didn't mind waiting a little for a few tables to clear out. They managed to take all of our orders and get us food shockingly quickly. The food itself was all well prepared and delicious. If you are looking for a nice diner to stop by for breakfast or lunch, I could not recommend Jimmy's more. I hope I am in the area again so I can come back for another meal

Small diner with friendly staff and fantastic breakfast. Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Love that the bacon and home fries were well done without having to ask. Banana pancakes were light, buttery and fluffy. Limited seating but the food comes out fast. Coffee was very good too. They also have a to-go window. Highly recommend!

I haven't been to Jimmy's in a while. My breakfast was exactly the same as it was the last time I was there. I used to eat there almost every weekend.The food is cooked perfectly every single time. I have never once had something I did not like. Always a warm feeling when you dine at Jimmy's!!

I'll begin but making notes that this place is small and that if you're not a fan of smaller locations with a lot of traffic, then don't come here. I, on the other hand, really enjoyed my first experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff were amazing. Is recommended coming here when it's usually quiet and there aren't too many people looking for food. Otherwise, get ready to wait a little while for a table or a seat at the counter.

Great place. This is like a home away from away. The owner, Linda is great. The cook is great as well. He knows how to cook up meals fast and efficiently. The prices are affordable. Coffee is good. The food is simple homemade comfort food with your basics. They have healthy options as well. It is small, things can get a bit a crazy. But the waitresses are always attentive, friendly, and efficient. It is cash only. Their take out service is very busy as well.

When you walk in you're greated immediately. The delicious smell of coffee in the air, the hustle from behind the counter, the families and great conversations that surround you, the food is so good. Probably the friendliest place to eat on Long Island. All the wait staff knew nearly everyone that came in by name. You will feel like you went home for a reunion. Oh, and did I mention that the food was amazing. Don't dare just say it's just breakfast. I promise you will love this place!!!!!

Great communication! I ordered delivery and got gluten free chicken salad BLT with fries. I have an allergy.They called me to inform me about the fries being sprinkled with flour and provided a substitute for me. I really appreciate that, most people would not have called. Food is yummy here, it’s homey and comforting.

I drive out to the reservations once a month and after I get what I need, I hit up Jimmy's diner for the best breakfast served anywhere on long island. The place is small and always packed when im there. The food is the freshest I've ever had at any other diner. The people who work there are exceptionally friendly and the service is quick. I enjoy the atmosphere as well. And compared to other diners I've been to, they are the least expensive as well. I highly recommend Jimmy's.

We loved it! I took my father there for his birthday. After his stroke a few years back, he isn't big on being around a lot of people or loud places, so this place was perfect! The food is amazing, the service is upbeat and we couldn't have asked for better in that moment! The price is absolutely right too. I was caught off guard when the bill came, they don't do debit or credit, they do take cash or Venmo and I got lucky I could use Zelle bc I didn't have cash and I despise Venmo. It's ok, it was quick and easy and I'll know better for next time I take my father out to eat.

This is the best Diner on Long Island and beyond, one of the top ones. Familial, on point service greets you and continues throughout. Varied selection with specials every day. And of course, the food, was outstanding. I had the Biscuits & Sausage Gravy combo, with a true sausage gravy and the eggs with orange yolks. My son had the Smores Pancakes special, also outstanding. We also had the omelette, a true omelette, folded, not those egg tortilla slops that many breakfast places now serve. Highly recommended!!!

Awesome food and service. The place is a local landmark. They've been in business for over 50 years. Very nostalgic. One of those places where everyone seems to know each other. My only complaint would be the fact that they are so popular, but there's not a lot of seating in such a small space. My girlfriend and I watched several people walk in and then turn around and leave because there wasn't enough seating. Other than that, everything is great!

Nothing fancy. Really old style. But very comfortable. Food is just like home cooked. The prices are ridiculously low, and the women running and cooking here at Jimmy's, are really nice and have a great sense of humor. It's very easy to drive past and maybe think twice. But, you'd be making a mistake. Definitely a good place to eat at. Oh, and DON'T forget your CASH. They DON'T take credit/debit cards.

This is a local dinner. Very old school in its appearance and feel. Local Fisher man and workers sit at the counter. As families sit at the tables. Food here is good nothing terrible. And the servers are refreshing from all the corporate run places.

Not sure I understand the rave reviews here. Food was ok, but not great. Had the Open Turkey Sandwich. Was just deli meat on bread with an ok gravy. Taters were kind of gluey, gravy on top too. Maybe I caught the cook on a bad day but ingredients can be higher quality. After the meal was told CASH ONLY which was surprising these days. But not a biggie. Just be sure you bring the greenbacks!

Sadly I ordered an omelet with fettuccine and spinach and paid a considerable amount extra for spinach and it was not included in our DoorDash order. Nor did it have a receipt attached to confirm the order. Will not be ordering from them again. Thanks, but no thanks.

I used to come here all the time but they have become extremely expensive. I usually go to strathmore bagels to get breakfast platters which has great food and prices aren't crazy. I ordered the same thing here as I didn't there and paid 10 dollars more. That's kinda crazy and all I got was breakfast. They have great food as always but it's not meant for a good cheap breakfast. I'll stick to strathmore bagels for that.

Chose this place because it was listed as one of those cozy, neighborhood joints that I love. Greeted by a friendly wait staff. The food was good and served hot and timely. Upon taking in the cute signs all around I came upon some political stuff.. Immediately turned off.. It is of course the owner's right to post his political persuasion but I wonder why he feels it so important as to possibly turn customers off. I go out to eat to get away from the divisiveness in the country. I won't be back.

Pay attention to your change. My friend wasn't paying attention too much to her change till she opened her wallet and realized she gave the waitress an extra $20. They gave it back after she was given the wrong change and realized she had given the staff too much. She had to ASK them for her money back. Thank GOD she caught it. No way they did this by accident ! Food was terrible too. Cramped and just skimpy and overpriced ! Morally broken. Never again
