A truly positive dinner experience for two. The owners and staff were very welcoming, and the cuisine was impeccable. We left feeling full after a sumptuous selection of appetizers, first courses, and second courses (a special mention for the exquisite veal belly). The price was absolutely reasonable. I had lunch at this restaurant during a car rally. I'm gluten intolerant, and all I had to do was let me know upon arrival and the staff was very attentive. The dishes were generous and delicious, and gluten-free pasta was available. The risotto was spectacular, as was everything else! A wonderful experience!

The hotel is a gem in the Upper Tidone Valley, not far from the Tidone Pass, nestled between Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna, Piedmont, and Liguria. The Romagnese area offers landscapes and trails of rare beauty, nestled among rivers and streams, and is also not far from Bobbio and the equally stunning Trebbia Valley. The hotel staff is extremely friendly, starting with the owner. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The food is excellent, made with quality local ingredients and cooked with care. We've stayed twice already and hope to return soon. Highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I just had dinner. The owner is fantastic. He has a way of doing things that immediately puts you at ease. He explained the menu to us verbally. WONDERFUL!!!! Excellent quality food. Perfect service, helpful, polite, and friendly!!! For nature lovers and beyond, I highly recommend it because it's a truly beautiful place!!!!!

Nell'albergo ristorante immerso nel verde.Locale ben ristrutturato ampio e luminoso. Menu fisso ma di eccellente qualità...tutto davvero squisito. Molto apprezzato il risotto limone e basilico, i paccheri ai funghi porcini e gli gnocchetti di mais al sugo rosa di peperoni...Servizio molto buono e buono il rapporto qualita- prezzo. Io ci tornerò...e lo consiglio! Sono tornata in questo locale dopo 2 anni...il menu non è variato per niente e la cucina dal mio punto di vista è peggiorata.

We ate here after a drive, and everything was excellent: food, view, cleanliness, and service. The only flaw is that customers should always know how much they're spending. I understand the strategy, but a paper price list would be more appropriate.

I only visited the restaurant, so my review focuses exclusively on the dining experience. The atmosphere is very pleasant and upbeat, with lively service; numerous waiters move among the tables, offering dishes to try. There isn't a proper menu, but rather a sort of daily selection from which you can choose what to try, even combining multiple tastings. During my visit, there were numerous appetizers, three first courses, three second courses, and various desserts to choose from. Many dishes were truly delicious, some a little less memorable, but overall, the experience was pleasant. The citrus risotto was particularly good. The price is perhaps a bit high, but still reasonable.

My husband and I ended up dining at this restaurant on a recommendation... A very nice and well-kept place. Once seated, we weren't given a menu, so we assumed it was a fixed menu. Great... Once the waitress arrived, she told us what was available... We decided on mixed appetizers, and finally I had a mushroom first course, and my husband had ribs, 1 bottle of water, half a liter of wine, and a coffee... The bill arrived: 65 euros!!!! Can I say excessive? Or should they at least have informed us once we were seated that since it was a fixed menu, the price was the same regardless of whether you ate a first course or a second course? The staff were kind and knowledgeable, really... But the bill really left us speechless... What a shame.

My review is only for the restaurant. The location at the foot of the mountain is very beautiful. As for the food, I'd give it a "no." There's a fixed-price menu; we opted for a mixed appetizer without cured meats, two main courses, and two first courses. There's no à la carte menu with prices; the dishes are announced by the waiters. I honestly don't appreciate the lack of clarity on prices. As for the appetizers (nervetti, beans with onions, grilled peppers, and mini-puff pastry), they were good. The two meat-based main courses, a braised pork cheek with mashed potatoes and a beef tartare, were also good. As for the two first courses, I have to say they were terrible. We ordered two paccheri with porcini mushrooms, which arrived overcooked and tasteless; we were wrong not to send them back. The dessert, a caprese with vanilla ice cream, was good. The receipt, however. The prices were above average and didn't justify the quality I received. I was a bit disappointed.
