So good! The food was all delicious and so were the craft cocktails. Very very worth the price. I loved the atmosphere! My only complaint I had about the atmosphere is that some of the guests dining inside were pretty obnoxious but the staff can't really help that. We tried the Bone Marrow which was an amazing experience. Delicious! I got the salmon, which was cooked perfectly! My friends got the special pasta they loved it! Would definitely come back again.
This place is so good I visited twice in one day. LOL. On my first run … I got some cocktails & the chicken pot pie soup. The amaretto whisky sour was my favorite cocktail! It’s so delicious it’s dangerous. Later that afternoon, once my shopping was done I came back for more. I tried the herb chicken & the cornbread. Definitely hit the spot! 5-stars all the way! Check it out!
Came here for their brunch with a party of 10. Made a reservation only the night before but there was plenty of accomodation and they had it all set up for us before we came in! We all enjoyed our meals and the server was very friendly. Also plenty of creative options on the menu that accomodate different dietary needs. They had some good brunch special deals, but it would have been nice if they opened a little earlier than 11 considering the menu.
Came here for lunch after hiking nearby. There is a nice upmarket feel. Most people opted for the soup and sandwich combo and really enjoyed it. I had the Thai chicken with egg and cornbread. Delicious! Our server was friendly and attentive. Although we didn’t have any craft beer or cocktails they did look tempting.
I love Coming here, absolutely a go to for local liquid yum or if you’re a food restricted nerd. Alex’s energy and knowledge behind the bar is reason enough to keep coming back each season. Food is my main reason tho, the Thai fried chicken is everything!! Thanks yall!!
We stopped in while visiting Keystone. After a full day of snowboarding we searched and found this place. It was easy to find and only a few minutes from Keystone. The place is located in a strip mall just off of interstate I-70. We ordered the Asian Fried Chicken and the Timberline Burger with a few draft beers. The fried chicken was excellent and perfectly cooked. The flavor was absolutely amazing. The Timberline Burger was also perfectly cooked, nice and juicy and full of flavor. Both meals were delicious which made for a great dinning experience.
We walked to Timberline from our hotel for brunch, and it was amazing. We shared a Bloody Mary flight, cast iron pancake, shrimp and grits, and the Thai chicken and eggs. Everything was absolutely fantastic, but we quickly realized we ordered wayyyy too much food. Their portion sizes are very generous, sharing might be the way to go
A great dog friendly patio! The cornbread was homey and an excellent starter. My burger was great but cooked more rare than I asked. Someone else on the patio had the same issue. My partner had the herbed chicken and loved it!
Our Dinners were fantastic! I had the Beef Short Ribs, and my wife had the Korean Fried Chicken Rice. Aiden and Alex were friendly and attentive.
What a perfect place to celebrate our 40th anniversary! Food was fantastic…especially the Goat Cheese Pizzetta! Shrimp and grits was a hit! We will be back even if it is a two hour drive to get here.
Back for another delicious meal. Fabulous food, attentive service, lovely views from the patio (which you don't usually get in a shopping center!). Peach amaretto whiskey sour was a great choice and really compliments the Devils on Horseback and Pork Belly Fried Rice.
There were 6 in our group and we were all fighting over who had the best food. That's how good the good is, everyone loved their food. We also ordered several apps and drinks. Everything was amazing. The wine was really high quality and the mixed drinks were well chosen flavors that went together. Our server was so accommodating and friendly. While this isn't a cheap place to eat, the quality is worth the price. We would highly recommend this place to anyone.
Been here 5 times now and I love it, it's our go-to post snowboarding trip or road trip fancy eatery. Cocktails are great and the food selection is great. Service is always super friendly, attentive, and overall awesome. The bloody Marys are legit! Also the burgers!
A craft kitchen where quality is seen not just through the food, but through everything. A massive local spirit selection, locally sourced food, and care in every detail made this my favorite part of the trip.
Timberline Craft Kitchen & Cocktails in Silverthorn, CO offers an exceptional dining experience that blends a warm, mountain-inspired atmosphere with inventive, locally influenced cuisine. Ambiance The restaurant features an inviting setting highlighted by mountain-themed art and decor that effortlessly captures the Colorado spirit. An added touch is a TV showcasing extreme sports skiing—a refreshing alternative to typical sports channels—that further enhances the Colorado mountain vibe. The vibe is upscale yet casual— staff wears thick denim suspender aprons resembling overalls—giving the space an authentic, relaxed charm without compromising on style. Very Colorado Chique. Service The service stands out for its attentiveness and efficiency. They appeared to be very well staffed for being moderatly busy - ensuring guests feel well-cared-for without ever appearing rushed. The friendly and professional demeanor of the team adds to the overall positive dining experience. Food The culinary offerings are equally impressive. One of the standout elements is the Bacon Balsamic Vinaigrette salad dressing—a unique creation that not only surprises but also perfectly complements the BTL Burger, which was cooked to perfection. The menu’s emphasis on local ingredients, paired with a thoughtful selection of local beers, further enhances the dining experience. Overall Impression Timberline Craft Kitchen & Cocktails succeeds in creating a balanced dining atmosphere where quality food, innovative flavors, and top-notch service come together seamlessly. Whether you're a local or just passing through, the restaurant is a highly recommended stop for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable meal in a setting that truly celebrates the Colorado aesthetic.
This place is phenomenal the food is so good and a great wait staff. Our server made some food recommendations and they were all on point. We had the bacon wrapped dates, the pork bao buns and the burratta. All three of those I'm paraphrasing on the names but either way they were delicious. We accompany this items with some good Stouts and it was a match made in Silverthorne. Come and see this location I highly recommend it.
Just driving through and stopped for a bite about 2pm on a Saturday. Started with the cinnamon rolls which everyone loved and some cornbread. Mixed reviews on the cornbread - the texture is almost like a moist carrot cake or zucchini bread. I enjoyed it but the kids not so much. My oldest teenager had the Thai Fried Chicken and it was crispy, spicy and delicious. My youngest had the Pork Belly Fried Rice and it was on point. The cast iron pancake was nice and fluffy and because of how thick it was it got a little dry but that was solved with some extra maple syrup. The Buffalo Mountain Breakfast was prepared perfect and those crispy hasbrowns were one of the highlights of the meal. I was very impressed with the food and service. Everywhere is struggling with staff but they were upfront with expectations and I highly enjoyed dining in here.
We loved this place. It was delicious and simple for the folks in our party of 8 that wanted a hearty burger; but it was also exquisite if you were in the mood for something special or unique. Nicole, our server, was awesome... except I told her she wasn't helping me decide what to order because she guffawed over every dish I asked about. Her response? "I'm sorry. Everything is so good, I come eat here on my days off." We really enjoyed her personality and attention. It was our last meal of vacation and was the perfect lunch before heading to the airport.
Lots of cocktails, whiskey and wines to choose from. Breakfast and lunch menu until 3pm then they change over to the dinner menu. Had the blt burger with a bowl of the chicken pot pie soup.
Good spot for a quick bite or a full a meal. Great service and a nice space inside. Sharable were good as was the drink. We'd definitely go back.
We had the thai chicken and srimp & grits, both were top notch and we were so happy we stopped here.
Update 1/29/25 We had dinner heat and it was phenomenal. We sat at the bar and Alex provided phenomenal service. Our appetizers entree’s were so delicious. I don’t think you can go wrong with the menu. Hats off to the kitchen for preparing such a phenomenal meal. Highly recommend. We had the pleasure of coming in on Super Bowl sick Monday. Jessica greeted us as we were the first patrons of the day. Jessica was super friendly and accommodating. We had burgers for lunch. Both of our burgers were delicious. Timberline has unique buns that you don’t see every day. They are bigger buns that can actually handle the burger. Both burgers were delicious. They don’t skimp on flavor. Thanks Jessica and Kitchen for a great pitstop on our journey back to Evergreen. Highly recommend.
My husband and I hosted our wedding reception dinner at Timberline. Tanecia was patient, friendly, professional, and reassuring throughout the whole process. Our food and drinks were all incredible, and our service was amazing. Our main waitress, Augusta, was so kind and attentive to making sure we were all taken care of and that timing of the dinner went off without a hitch. I supplied decor and Tanecia offered to set it up for us completely prior to arrival, for all the tables we needed. She coordinated with our baker to ensure our dessert table looked amazing and our desserts were distributed correctly. Our experience here was stellar and we couldn’t have asked for more!
We saw the good reviews and decided to try Timberline and we were not disappointed. The delicious food makes up for the random location. Atmosphere was perfect and corner windows have a great mountain view. Plenty of parking. No crowds. We will definitely be back and recommend it to friends. Had the Cubano Burger and the Herbed Chicken. Both were incredible.
Asian chicken was great. My wife had the no meat mushroom burger and even our son was happy with the menu. Service was delightful. Food was tasty. Location is convenient for a pit stop.
I ordered a small bowl of pot pie soup and garden salad to eat. Delicious and fresh!! So tasty. To drink I ordered black cherry smashed bourbon. I love bourbon and this was a new try and local so why not. Loved it as well. If you appreciate tasty fresh food and cocktails, this is your next stop.
Our family of 5 enjoyed everything - kid meals were satisfying and varied - the timberline burger was delicious with their housemade chips and the shitake curry was a huge portion, and completely exceeded expectations. I loved the pistachio-tini but it was smaller than expected - wish it was double the size.
High ceilings, subdued lighting and an impressive suspended wine rack in the spaces above the bar. Comfortable and not too noisy. Brunch was delicious. Had the Thai chicken. That cornbread is magnificently soft and well spiced. My partner had a panini which was delicious. The bread was a bit flourey, but the meat and pesto were a lovely savory combination. Had a Colorado Cream and coffee with a shot of spiced whiskey. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Out server, Hunter, did a fantastic job of steering our food selections into the right arenas. Hope I get to come back again.
The elk tenderloin tips. ---- fabulous. --- done medium, with 3 glasses of Chardonnay finished it off with a skillet cookie. And a couple excellent. coffees. The elk tenderloin was on a bed of corn with a side of asparagus and potatoes., the asparagus was done Al dente . The corn was a very high quality and very tasteful. The potatoe wedges. had a fine crust on the outside, which I'm sure they were white organic potatoes. Judging by the flavor quality. Timberline is always a very special experience.. I sat at the bar.Great service and attention to detail.
Start with the cinnamon roll, it comes out in a cast iron so makes it the perfect temperature, soft, and gooey in all the right ways, and honestly sets the tone for the entire meal. This place absolutely blew us away. We’ve been here for dinner before, but brunch was a whole different experience. From the moment we walked through the door, the service was outstanding. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and made everything feel so welcoming and effortless. We even came back two days in a row, and she remembered our family of four and our order! The food was even better. The sweet potato hash is a must and adding the pork belly takes it to another level. Every bite is packed with flavor. The cast iron pancakes with cinnamon sugar were my husband’s favorite, but the brown butter bacon pancake is hands down one of the best pancakes I’ve ever had. And don’t skip the mimosas, they’re easily the best in town and the perfect finishing touch to an already amazing meal. Great service, amazing food, and an all-around fantastic experience. We will absolutely be back.
We stopped in on Valentines Day as my daughter wanted a good steak. It was busy, but the host graciously found us a spot at the bar. The bartenders were busy, but attentive. The Bourbon cherry smash was delicious and the steak perfectly cooked and tender. For a busy night, everyone was kind - we will be back.
Our family of six had a great experience at Timberline Craft Kitchen. It was a very busy night, but the service was excellent, friendly, attentive, and never rushed. The food came out quickly and everything we ordered was delicious. We all tried different dishes and the standout for the table was the Asian fried chicken. Short ribs were good too as was the steak and shrimp. Absolutely worth ordering. I also loved the winter sangria. Great food, attentive service, and a fun, lively atmosphere. We would happily come back.
This is our go to spot for a lunch date. The food is delicious and mixed cocktails are a treat! I highly recommend having the brunch bao buns. Service is professional and quick. They took great care with preparing my food since I have a tree nut allergy. Great spot for locals and folks visiting to stop by.
We came in for dinner on a weeknight and it was decently crowded so you may be better off making reservations. We had the asian fried chicken and burger. We also had the sliders for an appetizer. They were all decent but we wished there were more of the listed topping on the asian dish. It said it include boo choy but there was one small slice of it. Overall decent place for dinner - I also had their passionfruit mimosa which was very good!
We stopped in to grab some lunch. I appreciate that’s it’s a great sit down restaurant in the area. They have a pretty creative lunch menu. Love that they have coloring pages & a kids menu that my toddler will actually eat 👏🏽
We stopped in here for brunch when we were on our way to Denver. It was very quiet. I didn't see anyone else besides one person who was the server, bartender, host, etc. We ordered a couple of apps to share between two of us. The kids ordered butter noodles and chocolate chip pancakes. The pancakes came in a cast iron pan and it was deep dish style, really good. The prices seemed pretty high for their entres. The apps (wings and sliders) were pretty good.
Had a nice bourbon flight. Hamburger was delicious. Friendly staff with comfortable interior and motif
We visited here for lunch after shopping at the outlet mall. The hostess... is expected to give you a seat. Which took a while. The order was then taken promptly. However, the quality of salad, the sweet potato soup was flat...clean restrooms...Good bar..
The best thing we had was the black bean and sweet potato soup- it was fantastic. The veggie burger (mushroom) was flavorful and would recommend. The Caesar salad with chicken was mediocre - the chicken was precooked and dry. The lettuce and dressing parts of the salad were good, but not worth $20, so taking off one star for the salad. Huge cocktail menu and nice selection of non-alcoholic drinks, too.
Decent food. We had the most inattentive server I have had in years. Mind blowing really. Hostess didn’t even speak English. I asked for a table where we could see the tv. Had to use sign language if you will to get the simple request. Wasn’t even packed. Will never be back.
Food was top notch. Server was attentive and accommodating. But the bartender with the big nose was a total downer. Went to celebrate a birthday and he pretty much refused to make us a single round shots saying we arent really set up to make a fancy shot like you want. We asked for green tea shots.
1 star for very nice service and and 1 for atmosphere which was lively without being too loud. The food was super mid, cornbread tasted like a bit like box mix pumpkin bread and undercooked (mushy in the middle). Beef skewers were kind of dry and bland but the sauce was pretty good. Korean chicken was one large chicken breast coated with the korean seasoning and crust which was not bad, but it was hard to cut into the chicken especially with the crust sliding off with any movement. Burger was somehow both dry and dripping oil. I'm guess they're using very lean ground beef. Chips were very stale. My husband felt like the burger tasted off throughout his meal and he had a really hard time finishing it. By the end of the meal he got sick and immediately needed to run to the restroom in the resto. We drove home quickly as he's been feeling sick and using the toilet back and forth since. Not sure if it was the patty that made him sick. We're foodies so I think anyone with lower standards or from a small town without good restaurants may like the food here. We expected the resto to be super mid, and it was...but on the wrong side of average. Getting food poisoning means we won't be back. Edit: I'll add one star bc I appreciate the host responding. But I still stand by my opinions. Also must mention food borne illnesses can kick in as early as 30 min depending on the pathogen and we were there for at least an hour.
Our service was great. The food was tasty while the portions were significantly smaller than expected for the price point. Brunch Bao Buns: tasty but very little pork belly and literally less than 1/3 of scrambled egg split between two buns. Similarly, good flavor on the Bison Sliders but $18 for 2 sliders that that just didn't have much inside?
Food was tasty but waitress wanted to argue and even returned during our meal to continue the fight after I paid an upcharge for cheese on a vegetarian sandwich. Lunch soup and salad combo includes choice of half sandwich with very different full sandwich pricing. The vegetarian sandwich is a much lower price, even with a $2 upcharge to add cheese. However, the meat based, more expensive sandwich includes meat and cheese, but doesn't allow substitutions (not printed on the menu). The owner substantiated it by saying they make more money off the vegetarian sandwich. The waitress kept the argument going after I agreed to pay. Not nice. No thanks. Not returning. PS there's a charge to use a credit card. Surprise... It will be on the bill but not posted anywhere.
My husband and I are on vacation and decided to give this place a try due to the high rating. We are foodies and love to try new places. I hate to say this, but we have never been so disappointed in food. For the prices, the food was mediocre, if not less than. The presentation is nice, but that’s about it. The nachos had bland white pieces of chicken that look like they were thrown on top. The chips had a weird bleached flavor. The pancake tasted like cornbread and was dry inside. I wish I didn’t have to give such a bad review, but I would never recommend this place. The service was nice, but that’s about it.
We wanted to LOVEE this place… but sadly we couldn’t. I actually did like my burger/chips but my husbands pasta was almost inedible… it tasted like eating pure rosemary 😭
Had the worst service from the bartender with the purple hair, she made the worst margarita I’ve ever had couldn’t offer to remake me something else couldn’t even offer to bring me water. I’m sorry but this is embarrassing I was not treated with any kind of respect it was honestly sad I will never come back after that. Whatever you do, do not try the corn bread it’s disgusting undercooked and slopped together. Prob the worst experience I’ve had in silver-thorn.
We chose this restaurant bc of the 4.7 ratings on Google. We looked at the menu and it read like a craft kitchen would. We were excited to try because we have had some amazing food in this area. Upon arrival, we were seated right away. We were given the menu and were left alone for more than 10 minutes. My boyfriend ended up having to ask the host if we could get some service. I don't think that did any good because we still had to wait another 5 minutes for our server to come take our drink order. Mind you, we weren't even given water at this point. When our server arrived, she asked if we needed more time with the menu. Lol. We said no and gave her our drink order and appetizer and entree. By this point, we noticed the party that came in right before us has already had water and their drinks at their table. We tried the bao buns (the name is actually dumb because bao in Chinese already means bun. So I guess it's bun bun...) with spicy crispy pork belly and the devils on horseback. The bun bun was pretty good. And the devils on horseback was lackluster. It's simply bacon wrapped dates and cheese. We had the Elk medallions and the shrimp& filet. The Elk medallion was not bad but I've had better at Tavern West. It was served with brussel sprouts and potatoes. The brussel sprouts were broiled to a crisp but lack seasoning. (There was no salt & pepper at the table and one never really should have to add seasoning at a restaurant like this. ) the potatoes reminded me of leftover potatoes from breakfast. Nothing to write home about other than it was lackluster. The filet was ordered rare and came out medium well. Yes, you read that right. Medium well! Our server apologetically took it back and we know it wasn't her fault so we don't blame her. But what comes next is what motivated the 2 stars review. The manager or owner came by our table to explain and apologize for the overcome steak. She said the server wrote medium so that's why the steak was cooked incorrectly. I didn't mind the explanation even though a good leader never should feel the need to explain but to focus on the solution and to make sure the guests felt appreciated and satisfied with the apology. She didn't fulfill either criteria. A good apology should make the guests feel heard and sincere. As a matter of fact, I have been apologized to for wrong orders to the point that I felt bad returning the meal. She did not do that. It was a blanket apology without sincerity. And when she was done with what she had to say, I asked if she could bring us more water, she silently and seemingly begrudgingly to the water bottle and left. When the new filet arrived, it was poorly cooked. It was rare, alright, but without seasoning and if you've ever cooked a steak, you know there's cooking rare properly and there's throwing a steak on a hot grill and flip it and call it a day. This steak was the latter. For a restaurant that boast itself as a craft kitchen, they have a long way to go. Details are not important at this restaurant even though it's charging at a price that a patron may and should expect more. If you like poor service and mediocre food at a price point of $70 a person (our per person average for our meal), then come to Timberline. If not, I would go elsewhere or even try the aforementioned restaurant. Update: as you can see from the owner's response, she takes zero accountability and turned her responsibilities to the patron. And if the owner is so aware of the power of social media, then you'd think she would put herself in the guests' shoes and try a little harder at her job. Would not recommend even if you enjoy poor service. Your money is better spent at McDonald's, which cost more to open one than a "craft kitchen' like this one.
WARNING: Credit card surcharge. In 2025. A genuinely dreadful dining experience. EDIT: The restaurant responded publicly but did not address several operational issues: 1. Food substitutions were made without notifying us, disregarding basic preferences and, more seriously, posing obvious concerns for anyone with dietary restrictions or allergies. 2. Menu shortages were not communicated proactively, unnecessarily wasting our time. We browsed the menu for ~20 minutes, only to be told at ordering time that a large portion of the menu, including half of what we intended to get, was unavailable. 3. The credit card surcharge was not disclosed before payment. We had debit cards available and would have used them if informed. These were failures of operations, not circumstances beyond their control. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Tap water tasted like pipe. Only at ordering time were we told they were out of major menu items: no buns (so no burgers), no salmon, no potatoes. One dish arrived missing the sweet potatoes listed on the menu; Brussels sprouts were substituted without asking. My pasta came with extremely dry chicken. Plates and silverware were not brought out until we asked.
This one really hurts my heart because the owner is a retired Air Force Officer that doesn’t offer military discount and I virtually had to beg his wife Tenisha if there was anything they could do because freedom isn’t free…..she reluctantly gave me a complimentary salmon dip which was sub par……this is the first veteran owned business I’ve been to across the Nation that didn’t offer a discount which is mind blowing….even if it was just a one off as a fellow brother in arms something should be done especially since you OWN the place…….in better news, JC our waitress provided STUPENDOUS customer service as the only server on the floor with a full Resturant and only one food expeditor which just reflects poorly on the leadership of Tenisha and her husband…….they ran out of buns for my burger and the food was below average at best……its safe to say that I’m never coming back nor will I recommend this to ANYONE in my network professionally, military, or even strangers! Just atrocious all the way around except for JC who needs a raise or promotion!
