Cute and cozy. Nice staff. Got the breakfast combo and the chicken sandwich with the home made bread. Both were hot and delicious!
Best place to stop in for breakfast if you’re in the area. Everything from the outside to the inside very nice looking. The staff are great and warm people. Will definitely be stopping in again when my journeys bring me back here.
My boyfriend and I visited with some friends back in June from out of state. My Boyfriend ordering the “Meatloaf Mountain” which was a slice of meatloaf, atop of a piece of Texas Toast, covered in mashed potatoes and gravy while I ordered the Strawberry Cinnamon Roll. Which was exactly how you’d imagine it, a cinnamon roll covered in a strawberry flavored glazed and adorned with a few fresh strawberries. This place was the pinnacle of small town, family owned, home style cooking that severed great comfort food. If I lived here, I could see myself visiting this place often.
I was in awe, it’s such a cute, cozy place. I loved the town and this restaurant just fit in the vibe of the town. We had california benedict for breakfast as we did not want to eat meat and it tasted really good with fries and some fruits on the side. We went on 15th sept 2025. Highly recommend this one if you are in town.
10/10 would visit again. Service was fast and friendly, the vibe was great and the food was all immaculate. The waffle was definitely one of the best that I've had in years. Absolutely delicious and I'm so glad that we stopped in.
The establishment offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, reminiscent of the comfort of a grandmother’s home, where one can enjoy freshly prepared, delicious meals. The service is exemplary staff members are exceptionally friendly, attentive, and efficient, with special care extended to families and children. The venue maintains its charming, old-fashioned character, evoking the pleasant nostalgia of bygone days
Cutest spot with a big, garden-style patio and cute ambiance right in downtown Georgetown. Walkable from the shops. Breakfast/brunch-style restaurant and some of the best service we’ve had in the area. We had a great waitress who was so patient with our kids and brought out sidewalk chalk for them. Eggs Benedict and waffles were yummy. Highly recommend!
LOVED!!! This place is a 10/10. Our waitress was amazing. The food was great! I will say unless you get the Benedict the portions might be small and not what you were expecting. We got the cinnamon roll with strawberries and it was yummy! I think it was great. Much better than our dinner the night before. Worth the $60.
Cozy and welcoming place to have breakfast. Very friendly staff, most of them seemed to be family so it had a nice feel like you were a welcome guest in their home. We will definitely return next time we are in town. Simple straight forward menu with reasonable portions for a reasonable price. My eggs were cooked to perfection and the sausage was really flavorful. I also had a biscuit with gravy and they were were really flavorful as well. My wife enjoyed her bagel sandwich as well, however she felt like the potatoes were not really needed just the sandwich would have been fine. Located in the historic Georgetown downtown it is just minutes from the Georgetown Loop RR so its a nice place to eat before or after you ride the train.
We are visiting Georgetown and came across this cute restaurant! We love local places and we’re happy we stopped here. My husband got the waffle with peaches and I got red chili with their homemade bread. We shared a cinnamon roll to top it off! Everyone was so nice, service was great and quick! Highly recommend.
After walking around the shops in Georgetown, we decided to stop in here for some brunch before the Georgetown Loop Train. This place was recommended by a friend who grew up here and it did not disappoint. The service was quick and friendly and the food came out pretty fast. We had waffles, eggs, and sausage. The waffle is delicious and very thick. Prices are also very reasonable.
Quaint, charming place with lovingly prepared food. My salad included strawberries, pecans, and blue cheese with a delicious balsamic vinaigrette and a huge thick slice of country-style homemade white bread with tangy red peppers baked in! They are famous for this bread, deservedly! From what I understand, it's different each day. My friend had a basic breakast,, and hubby had a French Dip. Staff is amazing, atmosphere is antique, and they let you know your table is ready by text.
We were seated right away and we ordered breakfast and one ordered lunch. Their prices are reasonable, food was good, and we didn't have to wait long. It's at the end of 6th street with patio seating too.
My husband loved his Country Burroto, like happy face the second he took a bite 😂 My scrambled eggs and bacon were average. The biscuit and gravy was also average. Server was awesome and food was quick.
We were staying in town and found this place on Google, so we decided to try it. We were the first customers that Wednesday and were immediately treated more like family than customers. Our waitress was running around doing last minute stuff. It was like being at home, and she was as friendly as family. The menu wasn't as diverse as I like, but it was adequate. I just had sausage and eggs, which were pretty standard; the wife had eggs benedict, which she said was very good. My only beef is that it took awhile to get our food, but that may have been because it was early.
We are a family of five. We were able to come here without a reservation and there was plenty of space. It was a beautiful day and we ate outside. There was also plenty of room inside. This place is dog friendly. Not only was our dog allowed here, but they also offered him water. This place is a combination of breakfast plus sandwiches. They have these amazing plates with eggs, bacon, and waffles. The biscuits and gravy are also very very good. My wife and I had the BLAT sandwich and the chicken and Gouda sandwich. This feels like a family owned restaurant. The service was great and the price is a reasonable.
I had very high hopes for this establishment and unfortunately wasn't as impressed as I wanted to be. I'll go from start to finish. Upon entering the restaurant we were not greeted. Not a "hi", "welcome", "will be right with you" nothing at all. We waited close to 10 minutes to get seated. Myself and two kids. We would have left but it was pouring!! Once seated we were given our menus. There isn't a kids menu. So yes, I paid adult meal prices for kids who you know aren't about to eat an adult portion. That was very disappointing. I ordered a country burrito. Eggs, bacon, potatoes in a flour tortilla smothered with sausage gravy. I wasn't to tell it it was amazing. But I have no idea. They were out of gravy. That's cool. Smoother it in green chili. We all know that sounds great. You know what I ordered. What I got was scrambled eggs , chili and cheese in a tortilla smothered with the green chili. No bacon. No potatoes. Very disappointing. As far as atmosphere. There's nothing worth noting really. A bit outdated. I think my next trip to Georgetown needs to include a different meal location. Go now. Eat good food. Be kind. And, enjoy.
Really great customer service (Kimberly) and we encountered other very friendly staff, but the food is subpar. In fact, I would not recommend unless it’s the only thing open. Options are already slim in town, so if you come - maybe still to the burrito? Fruit is primarily canned.
We stopped for lunch as we were passing through for the train ride. We ordered a salad, waffle and burrito. It took 45 minutes for us to get our food, all while everyone else who got sat down after us got their food and left while we waited. Our waitress just kept telling us 2 more minutes, and at one point just disappeared. My 2 and 5 year old were so patient but ultimately hit the wall waiting so long. And we missed our train. There was no reason that was given behind the delay. No apology. And for the long wait the food was mediocre. Was not worth what we paid, and a bummer of experience bc our kids were less than pleasant after waiting that long. UPDATE: the owner did reach out privately to address the issues. He was very pleasant and felt bad. It was appreciated for his reach out.
Not what it used to be. The food was horrible, no flavor, and cold. Worst excuse of red chili on huevos rancheros I have ever seen. The $10 cinnamon roll had no flavor, dry, and icing was horrible. My son’s ham steak was a slice appropriate for a sandwich. The service was mediocre. I will never go back. What a shame, this place used to have phenomenal food.
If you want to be treated differently because of your skin color and be accused of getting a free meal when you share your complaints with the manager, you can go this place. Although these thoughts were shared with the manager to understand and solve the situation, we realized that we were right when the manager blamed us instead of denying the situation. First of all, no customer has to close the door of your restaurant and no one has to be subjected to bad looks and terrible treatment by your employees. No matter how old a business you are, you haven't learned anything about customer satisfaction. Although we did not eat the food we ordered, we were treated worse than talking by the dear experienced manager. It was an absolutely terrible experience and we were exposed to completely unacceptable approaches. I don't think so, but I hope you can learn professionalism one day and apply it in your business.
