One of those restaurant/tavern worth to visit more than once. Wooden-old school place, with a fantastic front patio seating area, and relaxed indoor bar that reminiscences these country taverns where young and old folks meet, great atmosphere, friendly servers, pet friendly place, and -well- food and drinks subpar! Literally, they work on every detail, even on the appetizers presentation. Can’t ask for more.

I was here on Fourth of July with my pup Joplin. We were escaping the fireworks in Denver for a couple of days and it’s always a bit nerve racking to find dining options where the pup can join you when you’re solo. Deno’s was super accommodating of both of us. I took advantage of the happy hour Blanco Spritz, which was delightful, while Joplin happily sipped fresh water. I was craving all day the meal that can cure any meh week - Caesar salad and French fries - but didn’t see fries on the a la carte and was worried the salad would be too big. My server to save the day - they could do a half serving of Caesar and side of fries. They were both delightful - some of the best fries ever and the croutons were spot on with the salad. I had a feeling the pup would have a tantrum before I would get to entree (which she in fact did by growling at the water), so I got the elk bolognese to go. It was so amazing. 10/10 - would come back for the service alone, but need to try the French onion soup on a colder day. Thanks Morgan and the entire staff for being so attentive of my sassy chihuahua and I.

Amazing restaurant overall. Atmosphere: 5 star restaurant style food without the pressure of having to come in so formal. Can be business casual or even casual and you won't feel out of place. Food: big portions, so I'd consider sharing dishes if you don't have a big appetite. Everything tasted great. Service: 12/10. Our server was Mike and he was amazing. Attention was perfect-- not too much, not too little. Knew how to pace food correctly and didn't rush our meals. Bonus: their wine collection was very extensive

Absolutely the best dinner we’ve had of late. The pork shank was out of this world!! AnnaRose was an amazing and fun server and the environment was lively as well. It was the first time in ages I’ve eaten at a nice place and didn’t see half the place hanging out on their cell phones. Great folks just being in the moment and enjoying great food and life. Keep going!

Great spot for a steak. Make a reservation online before arriving. Great atmosphere, dark but romantically lit. I had the 12 oz steak, my buddy had the 6 oz. Both were perfect! Large wine selection. Definitely a spot to return to.

Incredibly intimate and dark on a winters night, the perfect place for a nice steak, hard ale and perfectly cooked scallops in the middle of the mountains. I would highly recommend this place if you want to send your taste buds on a flavor vacation. Be ready to drop a couple of big bills if you're going all out but you will not be disappointed.

We come here often. It's one of the go-tos. Make a reservation during ski season to make sure you can get your people fed at a normal time.

We’re new to Winter Park, and Deno’s has delivered! Skeptical east coasters, but the staff is friendly and quirky and there is something on the menu for anyone, truly. Our first time here, we were very content with a mezze platter and steak. We’ve returned many times and it’s always an experience. Shout out to Nico and his old fashions, my husband loves!

Had a pretty good experience overall. Went during the mud season so there wasn't a wait for a table! We got the house sangria and it was good but needed a little more sweetener. Gorgonzola fondue was a fun app and the salads were a generous size even for the half salads. We got the ribeye and the filet and would definitely recommend the fillet over the ribeye. Their cooking method added a lot of flavors and depth to the steaks especially with the dry aging. Service was attentive and friendly. Atmosphere was cozy but felt like the restaurant couldn't decide if it wanted to be fancy or not fancy. They also had TVs in the dining room which was distracting given the cozy/elegant vibe they were trying to do.

We had dinner at Deno’s Mountain Bistro and unfortunately the service was disappointing. Our waiter kept forgetting about us. I asked twice for a drink refill and after about 20 minutes I finally walked to the bar and got my own drink. 40 minutes later he remembered and brought the drink right before giving us the check. The $60 steak was also underwhelming and felt more like a choice-grade cut. We were celebrating my daughter’s 6th birthday and she wore a birthday crown the whole time, but the waiter never acknowledged it, which was a little disappointing. On the positive side, my wife and kids enjoyed their meals and the view is great.

Dark and dingy mountain town bistro serving really salty food. The outside patio is nice, but the inside definitely leaves a lot to be desired. They are supposedly known for their woodfired pizza, but it really wasn’t all that great.

Been wanting to try something new as we had been here a week on our honeymoon. We were eating at different restaurants each day. Today was Deno's and were completely shocked at the way this dinner venture went about. First of all the front was great got seated and that was wonderful. Then our waitress came and I ordered some Mozzarella stickd, a beer, and my wife a Coke. I've never felt judged according to what we ordered. To the point where she asked us if we were ordering anymore food in a very rude manner. We were already done with our waitress and just wanted to have a nice dinner. Anywhere we have been service had been extremely great. Like I said I've never had a waitress make us feel uncomfortable and feel judged. While she waited other tables with a completely different attitude and caught the drift right away. So our dinner wasn't even enjoyed because of the atmosphere she created. But ill make sure to never go back to this establishment ever again or recommended. Good food but horrible waitress that waited on us. To the point of wanting to leave after appetizer but thank my wife saying lets give them a chance. Not worried about cost at all. But immediately regretted that decision after ordering main course. That was a big mistake.

As a fellow restaurant owner, I understand policies and limitations with large groups. What I don’t understand is the lack of effort and basic customer service—especially when the restaurant was not busy and there were multiple open tables available. Instead of trying to split the group, offer an alternative, or explain anything professionally, one male staff member was rude and dismissive. It honestly felt like he didn’t want to work or help at all. No attempt was made to accommodate us in any way. I do want to be fair and say the female staff members were polite and respectful. This review is not directed at them, but at the poor attitude and unwillingness to help from that one individual. With better customer service, this could have been handled easily.

A frustrating experience. We checked out the place and it seemed nice. In fact, I will say the atmosphere was really decent. However, we were tended to by two completely disinterested staff members. We've been in the States for over a week and felt welcome everywhere. Not here. We sat for a time at our table then decided to leave before ordering. I doubt that the staff noticed or cared. McDonalds down the road was a better experience.
