⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A must-visit every time I’m in Winter Park! Every year I visit Colorado to ski with my aunt and uncle. They have a house in Tabernash, which is near winter park. Last year was our first time at Namaste India. I loved it so much it’s now on my go to list of winter park destinations. Everything was outstanding. We started with an amazing bottle of Chablis The pani puri is hands-down the best I’ve ever had—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. We also shared patata vada, dal, and chicken kurma, all of which were delicious and comforting. We finished with gulab jamun, which was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. Our server was amazing—attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, which made the experience even better. If you’re visiting the Winter Park area, I can’t recommend Namaste India enough. It’s a place we will absolutely return to every time I'm back in town. ⸻
Always a wonderful experience -- the owners make guests feel like we are "returning home" with their gracious attitudes and ever-present smiles. The quality of the food also feels like it belongs in a much larger city...Winter Park is especially fortunate to have such authentic and tasty Indian food locally. We will be returning again soon!
Delicious dinner with our family tonight. Amazing service and yummy food - they knocked it out of the park! Many thanks for a wonderful meal and we so enjoyed our conversation too! Thank you - we will be back when we visit Winter Park again!
Such a cute cozy place and the service was outstanding. I felt like I was a pain in the butt with all my questions, requests and allergies but yet he never made me feel that way. He was so patient and kind. That feels pretty rare these days and my lobster coconut curry was delicious!!!!
This place is amazing! We were there in a group of 7 people. We all had different plates from both the Indian and the French menu. Everything was delicious, super tasty and well made! We have been going to Winter Park for several years now, I wish I had found this place before. Highly recommend! We are definitely going back!
We ate here on a Saturday night during busy season. Made a reservation for 5 people in 30 minutes and got there at 6:30. Great smells coming from the kitchen, and friendly relaxed vibes. We were seated immediately pretty small dining room. We ordered both the Indian and French items. The baked brie was a stand out, and the Dover Soul and Chicken Tikka Masala were both great too. We would definitely eat here again.
Absolutely delicious meal! We took sauce home in containers cause it was so delicious we couldn’t let a drop go to waste. Came in with a group of 8 and no reservation the staff was accommodating and attentive and truly made the dining experience wonderful! Also very comfy chair cushions.
Very interesting menu, including classic Indian dishes and French cuisine. We knew it was going to be great when they said they couldn’t sub the meat in an Indian dish because they had the original meat already marinating, and when the mango lassis showed up with an incredibly light texture and a hint of cardamom. The food was amazing and very filling.
Probably the best, most authentic restaurant in all of winter park. Is it more money? Yes. Do you leave feeling like every cent was well spent? Absolutely. I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect when I first got there but WOW. I live in north Georgia and I will be making a trip back here just for this restaurant. My family and I did go a little crazy so you could leave spending a lot less then we did.
I just wanna say this is surprising one of THE best Indian food I have ever had. And I eat a lot of Indian food! It was tough to find an Indian restaurant in Winter Park, but I’m so glad I came across Namaste! The food was absolutely incredible!! the chicken tikka masala was rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced, and the mutton lamb was truly to die for. Warm, comforting, and exactly what I was craving after a long day. Definitely worth the visit if you’re in the area!
sne Namaste India is truly fantastic! We make sure we stop by every time we come to Winter park! The hospitality and service is absolutely exemplary. The atmosphere is fantastic and cozy. Our family favorites are the butter chicken, pork vindaloo, Lamb Rogan Josh, chicken biryani and definitely dont skip the Batata Vada or the Prawns Koliwada but if you chose something else im sure you will be very satisfied.
Definitely got here!!! This place was legit the best Indian food I have ever had!!! We came in on a slower snowy night and they stayed open for us to eat. The chef made a totally personal experience. We felt like we were at a private dinner. The plating, the service, the attention to detail. It was incredible.
Great service and incredible food. We had escargot, a lamb appetizer that was incredible, chicken tikka masala, and beef curry. I recommend getting several things and sharing because everything was so good. The garlic naan came out, piping hot and was to die for! It’s not a great ambience, but I would not let that stop you from coming here or even picking up to take home. I will definitely be back!
Had an incredible dining experience with them! The food was absolutely delicious—we ordered Batata Vada, Prawns Koliwada, and Pani Puri, and each dish was bursting with authentic flavors. The Prawns Koliwada were crispy and perfectly spiced. The service was outstanding, if you are looking for authentic food you should definitely drive to this place.
Delicious! Had the batata vada (not pictured), plaak paner, and chicken tikka masala. All were delicious and unique. Not the classic Indian, at least not what I’m used to here in the US, but the taste profiles were fantastic! Definitely going back & looking forward to trying other dishes! (Also cute atmosphere, great service, & I thought fairly priced!)
We ate here 2 nights in a row whilst staying Granby. The food is excellent. The rosemary bread appetizer is warm and full of flavour and obviously done by someone with French cuisine experience, the paratha was also excellent and clearly had french influences as well, even the samosas had a patisserie quality of breading on them, what a pleasure. I got the Butter Chicken, and my boyfriend got the paneer masala. Both were great, I got the masala myself the following evening. I preferred the butter chcicken but would eat either. The mousse was fine, it didn't change my life, but the portion was generous. The 2nd day we got some new appetizers, Kothimbir Vadi is a cilantro heavy seasoned bread. It was a but dry for me but I liked it, my BF loved it. The Corn Bhaji was my favourite of the 2 apps, great flavour. Service was prompt, and there was basically never a time we were without food or drink in front of us after we were 1st served bread. The 1st evening, the ventilation must have been out because it was HOT in there, and the water isn't served with ice, but the 2nd day it was working and much more comfortable. Service was consistently top-notch both days. If you're staying on the west side of rocky mountain national park, we'd highly recommend this place!
Food was exquisite and delicious! You can tell that the chef really takes pride in their work. Service was great too! We had the French onion soup, Short ribs, and Elk curry with mushroom risotto. For dessert, we shared the Chocolate fondue. Everything tasted so good and was perfect. Far exceeded our expectations, must recommend to anyone looking for a fine dinner!
This was a very unassuming restaurant. It was hard to find because their sign is written with fancy lettering and is in between other signage. We were seated right away and the owner was so friendly and personable. The food was great. We'll be back sometime soon.
On the hunt for Plants / Vegan dinner. We found a strip mall Indian restaurant. What a surprise it was to come into a friendly place with nice decor. When we ordered the server was very accommodating to our diet. We liked the bold flavor of the curry. The bread is good with the garlic and is like it is cooked in a real tandoor.
The food was DELICIOUS but man it was oily! If they reduce or eliminate the oil I will become a regular there! Service was lovely, decor is simple and nice, and the food came out pretty quickly. Very nice experience and again if they can do away with the oil I'll eat there weekly!
I'm going to try and describe the night. 1) We were seated promptly. We arrived at around 6pm on Thursday night. There were plenty of seats available and we were a party of 5 (3 adults and 2 children) 2) They were pretty quick in taking our order. We ordered 3 adult entres, 2 kids meals, and 1 appetizer (escargot). 3) Dinner took over 30 minutes to arrive. Other tables got their food first even though we ordered way before them. We didn't even get our appetizer within the 30 minutes. However, once the food started to arrive, it came quickly. 4) Even though the food was slow to arrive, the meals were delicious! 5) The staff was courteous and kind. No complaints there! I ordered butter chicken and it was great. My wife got the Chicken Tikka masala and it was also good. The kids meals were on point so I can safely say the food was good. We just wish the food came a little quicker. First picture is the escargot (very tasty). I've had escargot in the past and this was a nice take on a French classic appetizer. Second photo is the kids meal of grilled chicken. Third photo is the butter chicken (Delicious) Last photo is the chicken Tikka masala.
This was easily the worst Indian food I’ve ever head, perhaps the worst meal I’ve eaten at a restaurant. The butter chicken was not bad, per se, but it tasted nothing like a typical butter chicken. The pork vindaloo was also bad. It tasted more like a French stew than vindaloo, and the pork was so overcooked it was nearly inedible. The chicken kurma was somehow worse. The sauce had split and it tasted like the main flavor base was artificial lime juice. If I could put 0 stars for the food, I would. I don’t know what food the other reviewers were eating, but I would think twice before risking a meal here. Frankly, I am still upset I paid to eat here.
I am extremely disappointed and disturbed by the behavior of the restaurant staff. We were clearly told that the restaurant was “fully occupied,” despite the fact that multiple tables were visibly vacant. This was misleading, unprofessional, and unacceptable. I have never experienced such an attitude from restaurant workers, and it was later confirmed when several others shared that they had faced the same treatment at this establishment. Sadly, this appears to be a repeated pattern rather than an isolated incident. What makes this even more unacceptable is that my baby was hungry, and because of this false refusal, we were forced to urgently search for another restaurant. No family should be put in such a situation due to careless or indifferent behavior from staff. This kind of conduct reflects poorly on the restaurant’s management and customer service standards. I strongly believe this experience should be highlighted so others are aware and can avoid facing the same situation. Beware of this restaurant.
I visited namaste india Saturday. I ordered Paneer Tikka, Chicken Tikka, Tawa Pulav, Garlic paratha, Paneer Paratha. This is not Indian food at all. Tawa pulao was oily and there was no flavor in it, tasted like red chillies. Chicken Tikka quality was poor quality, Chicken was dry probably cooked and sat in refrigerator for a long time. Not recommend. Waste of time and money..
