This place is BEAUTIFUL - rustic mountain elegance at its cozy best! JR behind the bar was friendly and professional and so humble when we told him that his mezcal based "Cocktail of the Day" was honestly the most delicious drink we've ever had! We will never miss an opportunity to stop in when we're on the mountain.

During my stay at the lovely cabins I dined twice at the clubhouse. I tried other restaurants in town and none compared! The service is warm, friendly. Each waiter could give first hand feedback about all items on the menu- which is always so helpful. The food was outstanding from the Caesar salad to the steak to the fried chicken to the locally grown mushrooms & tomato’s - everything was DEVINE. By far the best food in the valley. Sidenote the restaurant decor is impeccably curated - literal perfection. Highly recommend…

Stunning establishment and the food was by far the best at the base. Wine selection was fantastic as was the service. We loved it.so much we went for dinner and then apres ski. Highly recommend the tuna appetizer, the steak, the fries, ... everything was really good.

We absolutely love this restaurant and have dined there many times. The food is amazing and consistent. Our favorite is the grilled feta cheese appetizer and the meats are delicious too. They have a good wine selection and yummy cocktails. We will keep coming!

This is a gem of a spot. We just got lucky with the choice because we stayed at a condo next door. Great service, music, and cozy atmosphere. Food and drinks were outstanding. It's rare these days to find a restaurant that lives up to the prices and this one does. The one neg is they only showed tables available at 9 pm for reservations. When we arrived at 8:50 there were a ton of tables available. So we could've come much earlier, which would've been nice because the tomahawk ribeye takes a long time to prepare. (worth the wait) Will definitely be back.

We had an absolutely LOVELY time here. We weren’t sure what to expect, given it’s a new-ish spot & it can be hit or miss in the mountains, but we really enjoyed every minute of our dining experience here. Seth was our server, and he was absolutely wonderful. We ordered dirty martinis (not the house martini) and two medium rare steaks. The steaks were smokey and the root veggies were awesome. We grill out at home all the time, and we’re happy to have something we couldn’t make at home. The martinis were excellent as well, and the service was friendly and timely. We’re definitely coming back, and so happy to see an upscale dining experience available in my favorite resort town :) I’m sure lots of others have mentioned… but the ambiance? Goals. Comfy chairs. Conversation pit leather couch of my dreams! Come here for drinks or for din, you won’t be disappointed.

My husband and I dined here for the first time in mid-December on a Sunday evening and we were blown away by the service, atmosphere and food! The dining room was very inviting and had a 1970s retro yet chic and romantic look and feel! Our server was extremely personable and courteous and she went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. A kind gentleman assisted her a couple of times with bringing food out of the kitchen. The black garlic ceasar salad was excellent and truly the best caesar salad I've ever had! We both had the $20 steak special. Both of our steaks were excellent and done to perfection! It's been our experience that many restaurants located in popular ski areas are often over priced and the service is poor. This was definitely not the case here. We were even able to walk to the restaurant from our hotel which was located near the main ski base area (about a half mile). However the local bus also stops directly in front of the restaurant.

From start to finish, we loved this spot. Service was super friendly and attentive, the bone marrow was the best I’ve had in my life, and the dessert puff was delightful. Not to mention the most groovy, retro ambience! We can’t wait to come back!!

Excellent retro ski resort atmosphere. Love the real wood fire smell right when you walk in too. Exceptional savory food. Server was great too. Only criticism is that the food (which, again, was really good) took awhile to come out so we were pretty hammered by the time we ate! Still worthy of 5 stars though…

Unassumingly place at first because it appears that you're walking into a little liquor store and then you open the door to a regular bar. If you walk around the corner though an eclectic dining room with plush couches and a lounge for you can sip on a drink next to the fire. The food was very good though pricey. You do get quality though. My favorite was their French onion soup. The portions are generous and you can tell that each dish is well thought out because everything surprised me when they came out, homemade pickled vegetables and smoky eggplant. It'll be a memorable meal

This place is wonderful. I actually stayed at the A Frame Club and dined here twice during my stay. While I also tried three other restaurants in town, the Saloon got the gold. Service is competent and fast. The ambiance matches the Mad Men retro modern vibe of the inn and the food is generous and delicious. I kept ordering the Last Word based Monk cocktail (mezcal/chartreuse). I recommend the duck poutine, the trout, and the cherry goat cheese pie. Highly recommended all around for both solo, couples and groups. I have a separate review for the inn where I give it 5 stars as well.

We had a great time celebrating 2 wedding anniversaries. The drinks were creative and a good variety of choices. The food was delicious and although there aren’t a lot of options, we tried almost everything and loved it all. The service was very good. Loved the atmosphere and decor.

Had a great dinner here this weekend. I also had happy hour on the patio. All of the food was so delicious and the service was super friendly and attentive. Two drawbacks- the entrees did take quite a while to come out and they were out of several things we had wanted to try. Highly recommend the duck pasta, it was a great dish!

Ambiance and wait staff were great. The drinks, appetizers, and the smoked chicken were excellent. The biggest issue we had was with the dry aged steak. I ordered it medium rare but when it came out it was extremely tough and cooked well done. They told me it was supposed to be like that because dry aged steaks lose moisture. Which is true but you can still cook dry aged steaks to a tender medium rare instead of a hard slab of meat. They should know dry aged steaks cook much faster than non dry aged steaks since they lose moisture. Seems like they applied the standard cooking time of their non dry aged steak to their dry aged one which is why it came out well done.

Served me a piece of nearly-raw chicken. They took it back to cook it, threw half away, AND BROUGHT BACK THE SAME PIECE OF CHICKEN (now cooked). Gross. They did NOT properly make up for this and they are LUCKY I did not get sick (at least not yet).

Went here tonight with my family for dinner, this place came highly recommended-unfortunately I’m not sure why??? The atmosphere was neat, it felt very retro inside. The food was mid all around. The new york strip was dry, tasteless, and came cut into three separate pieces. (It was also very firm in some parts, like a rock.) This seems like the place to grab a cocktail or drink, not eat.

We have been waiting well over an hour for our main course. We have watched tables that have been here waiting over 1.5 hours. When asked if they could comp a round of drinks, they were not willing and instead offered a discount on meals.
