Update: 11/5/2025 I am still driving back home to LA from Boston and NYC. Congratulations to our Dodgers!! I wore my Dodger's cap in Red Sox and Yankee territory with humble respect, and the response was kind. I did find a hot dog at Love's truck gas stop and it was still great dog. 10/25/2025, 11-@# Great job Jays. All the respect for an outstanding game last night. I will have a naked dog tonight and water. Go Dodgers! 1/3/2025 Blessings to All this Great New Year! Just returned from Florida and the Southern States of our beautiful country. Boy, the South is so AMAZING. Love the accent and my Veteran patient told me I had the strong accent, "like for sure, like wow." Just great to be home. Corn dog, chili fries and a pink lemonade. Yum. Now for a rest. God Bless and Love you, Debra and Cats Update: 12/17/24 Just returned from Franklin, Tennessee for nursing job and came straight to The Der. With coupons in hand (saves a lot of money) I had my chili dog with extra onions. SO GOOD. Tennessee has HOT cowboys, BUT West coasters have Der Wienerschnitzel chili cheese dogs. Yummy for my flat tummy.😆Love my California Life. But OKC comes in a close second. God Bless. Debra & Cats. Update: 11/6/2024 Congrats to Dodgers Worlds Series Champions! and the LA fans for the BEST EVER fireworks show full stop! Corn dog, chili fries and a Coke, with cats, sitting on top of Mulholland Drive and a 360 view of display 🎇from Malibu, Northridge, Reseda, Pacoima, Encino, VAN NUYS, Sherman Oaks, everywhere was great. Thank you LA, Dodgers and The Der. 10/28/24 3-0 Dodgers. I respectfully thank NYC for hosting an outstanding game. Your team, fans and city are truly superior. I humbly ordered a simple chili dog and water. Game 4. Go Dodgers! 10/26/24 2-0 Dodgers. Ohtani's injury drove me to a big order, I am a petite girl, so this dog is a two meal for me. Chicago dog, fries with ketchup and a large Southern strawberry lemonade (I bet it would be great with tequila in it!). I pray Ohtani will be fine. The dog was yummy. Slept like a baby. Go Dodgers! 10/23/24 Ok, nerves are on edge.. Dodgers v Yankees.. calm down Debra..just finished a corn dog, extra mustard, chili fries and a med. root beer. Ahhh.. SO fresh and feeling relaxed. . Back to arguing with my east coast patients and docs. Let's Go Dodgers! After work, I have been treating myself to a hotdog on these warm summer nights. First it was a yummy kraut dog with dill pickles, next chilli cheese dog with extra onions and coke with ice, RIGHT! Then a corn dog and orange drink on ice....SO good. I don’t really know how to feel about it.. The hot dog was good but it was small, I had the kraut dog and then I kind of wondered to myself how many people order sourkraut at a fast food restaurant. The thousand island French fry thing was delicious but I feel like these establishments, I’m disillusioned from eating there... Like I’m trapped to only eat these putridly delicious expensive American junk foods

First time trying this chain and really enjoyed it. We are from Texas so we searched the nearest one and will be going there. Great job with the burgers and hotdogs.

Great ice cream and I love that polish sandwich. One of the employees was thoughtful to ask if I needed a cup for my cone in case if it melts to quickly!

This is a review for the staff: The staff here is amazing. My 87 year old grandma had a fall right outside the restaurant, and the staff immediately came outside to assist her and call for help. I can’t emphasize how much of a help they were and how much it meant to our family that they supported her when she was alone. They even held her frozen groceries for her until I could go pick them up after we took her to the ER. Thank you Elia and Christian for your help and generosity!!

It's Memorial Day driving home from Van Nuys and we were hungry for chili dogs. The food was great and the marketing at the door for corn dogs...was perfect. I didn't know I wanted one! ;) They were the best! No one has such good corn dogs! Very pleasant experience, and there ARE bathrooms, the manager, Daniel, went out of his way to get me the key. Just need to walk around the back. Very clean.

So, after thinking about going to the Wienerschnitzel here in Simi for years, I finally decided to go for it. Their 5 dog special had a little to do with it, but I do have fond memories of going to Der Wienerschnitzel with my dad and always getting a mustard dog or a chili dog. The store in Simi was spotless and the small staff was really nice and efficient. I had two tasty chili dogs and a corn dog. Both were perfectly cooked and actually brought back nice memories. We also enjoyed a order of fries, which were surprisingly very good. I will definitely be coming back. 👍😎🌭

This is a good place to stop for different kinds of hot dogs. We had Chilli cheese dogs,kraft dogs,Chicago dogs, and Chilli cheese fries. The food was decent and served up quickly. Service was good and speedy. A little on the pricey side for just hot dogs that aren't exceptional. Chilli is decent but I would prefer a little more spice. OK for a fast bite.

Paid $3 extra for pretzel buns and didn't get them. Hardly any chili on either dog. Cold, sad, stale fries. Waste of money and will find a different location.

Waited 10 minutes @ the cash register while starred at, I understand the drive through has priority, a simple Hi, I'll be with you is too much to ask for, even a head nod would have been enough, since my ex is an expert in ignoring I am more suspectable to it, I was disappointed I couldn't order dessert. A 4.2 rating?!

Don’t bother wasting your money ordering online from this location. Didn’t receive my order (driver stole it) and the instructions I received from both customer service and the delivery carrier were to call the store directly to receive a refund. I did just that, which took 30 minutes of calling five different times before someone decided to answer. Just to be told there was nothing they could do, and they offered no helpful resolution or care towards getting me my money back. Will have to do a charge back on my card to get the money I’m owed. Absolutely lousy customer service.
