Wow! Passing through from out of town and discovered this place, truly an awesome find. We’re torn on what to order because menu is awesome! Ended up with elk ravioli and steak tips and pierogies. Elk was ground so that was unexpected but still tasty. Steak tips were good but unevenly cooked. Some perfect med-rare, others too done. Pierogies were very good. Service and ambience were delightful, sat at bar. Wish we had a local place like this where we live. Great experience.

Amazing Amazing Amazing! The options were so mouth watering! It was very difficult to make choices here! The watermelon salad was more greens than watermelon but very good. The grilled peach flatbread was so flavorful. The steak and perogies had the perfect flavor balance. The server was great and very attentive. The ricotta cheesecake had different topping options. I went with the pistachio and chocolate chip topping and was so glad i did! I would definitely visit here again if I was ever in the area.

A 6 person business lunch that wanted and waited for nothing. Molly, our server read the table perfectly. She was a service sniper, managing the table without a word never interrupting the discussion and still respond reading all our needs. The food speaks for itself in the photos.

We are food snobs from Chicago and I'll start with this. . .wow! The sour cheery old fashion (10 bucks!?) Is a masterclass winner on the craft cocktail seen, I will include a pic of the MN sour cherry liqueur they use. I plan to pick up a bottle to use in my own bar. Now on to the food. If you like cheesy grits and don't have a side of their's laced with balsamic and finished with little chunks of bacon you missed out. I had the steak tips which were tasty but the salmon salad was a home run. Oh! The strawberry mojito mocktail is also a masterpiece. If you like chef inspired food, go here now.

Serendipitous way of finding this restaurant... We met someone with a 22 tattoo with the exact same font as the restaurant just hours before we ate there. I was trying to find a restaurant & it had moved. We sat down and then ran out so we could go where she originally wanted to go... 22TEN kitchen. We knew it was the right move as soon as we arrived because I asked a lady if it was good....? Her answer : absolutely (without hesitation ) Salmon Ponzu was flavorful and lighthearted just delicious enough to fill up the bear inside of me. It was a hearty portion as I took the rest to go. Adding a salad for $5 was a great choice. We saw someone else with mashed potatoes & shared just to get a taste. Cheesy perfection. Great price points for quality food & atmosphere. The waiter was so nice & genuine. (He was bald but couldn't remember his name) >>will be back to try other dishes! Thanks for filling up my empty tank. Cheers 🍻

I had a great dining experience at this American Fusion restaurant. The atmosphere was modern, spacious, and cozy. The appetizers, Chili Shrimp and Calamari, were impressive, the shrimp sauce was rich and flavorful, while the calamari was juicy and springy. The Ribeye Steak and Cajun Pasta were also delicious and cooked well. The Cowboy Burger was average, and the Kung Pao Bowl was a bit too sweet for my taste, a lighter sweetness would have balanced it better. Overall, it's a great spot to dine with a pleasant ambiance.

We truly enjoyed our dinner at this busy spot. The wait was 45 minutes when we showed-up, but they got us in faster than that, and it was worth every bite! The appetizer of lettuce wraps were so yummy and perfect for gfree and dairy free dietary requirements. We also enjoyed the Walleye and Salmon- both were wonderful!

Shawn was our waiter, the food was terrific but Shawn made it enjoyable. Each of us had steak. 1 ribeye, 1 New York strip, 1 sirloin. I'm partial to ribeye, mine was perfect! My wife had sirloin which was good but it was not ribeye good. We all enjoyed our meal and I personally enjoyed Shawn's willingness to share his knowledge of the dishes on the menu. Well Done! Service and food, not the steak.

Very nice inside. The bartender was super kind. The food is one of the best quality's of this establishment. Huge portions, very appealing to the eyes and stomach! This is a must try!

We had heard great reviews from everyone, and they were right! Unbelievable food for a decent price. Our server was helpful, kind, attentive, and professional. The high end environment isn't too stuffy, but makes you feel special.

Great food, tasty drinks, and wonderful service! While in South Dakota we obviously had to give the signature dish, chislic, a try! It was delicious, not dry, and very flavorful (may or may not have spooned up the remaining sauce from the plate) My husband had the shrimp and grits which was plated beautifully and was tasty too! Our server, Josh, made our experience even more enjoyable! We would definitely recommend stopping here!

Have been here multiple times and finally decided it was time I wrote a review. I love this place because of so many things but first and foremost is the menu. I love the range of items they offer. It’s not a big menu but there is variety. Everyone can find something they like and everything is good. I would suggest the shrimp and grits. I rarely eat an entire entree and usually have leftovers. With this I didn’t because I literally couldn’t stop eating it. The only bad thing I can say is I left too full! Atmosphere was louder but I enjoyed that as we are on the louder side as well and fit right in.

Wanting to avoid Valentines day crowds and madness, the wife and I celebrate a day early. We made reservations at 22ten and gave it a whirl. Off the start, they lost our reservation but they didn't hesitate and seated us after I showed them my online confirmation. No harm no foul. We ordered New Orleans cakes and Margaritas to start. Then Pork Marsala and Creole Jambalaya for entrees. The New Orleans crab cakes were super delish. Nice spicyness on the back end. Reminded me of crab cakes I've had on Bourbon street. The Margaritas for $8 were stiff as a corpse. The Creole Jambalaya was really good but to my surprise, no spicyness at all. I like to sweat when I order Jambalaya. Specially when it has andouille sausage in it. Aside from no spice, it was superb. My wife got Pork Marsala with pearl onions. I can't even describe the deliciousness of this dish. Unbelievable. For dessert we ordered bread pudding and a 2nd round of Margaritas. Every bread pudding I have ever eaten was a yellow bread. This was a dark pumpernickel type bread. It was so good I wanted to lick the plate. Our waiter Josh was quiet at first but I got him to open up and he has some personality on him. Fun waiter. Genuine person for sure. I really have no complaints. I wasn't sure why the menu stated Margaritas were $7 but our bill showed $8. Other than that, with a nice 25% tip, our bill was only $130! Best deal in town for the quality and overall experience. I actually think their dishes are underpriced. My favorite restaurant in Sioux Falls was Granite City, till now... this place is my new #1. Atmosphere to drinks to food was top notch. Definitely coming back for the Chislic and Elk Ravioli. If you're reading this and in Sioux Falls, go to 22Ten. Make reservations, it was packed on a Tuesday night.

Went with my husband and adult son. Never imagined I should have made a reservation on a Wednesday night, but it was packed. Now, I know why! I ordered the sirloin and pirogies, but mostly for the pirogies, because I don’t love sirloin. My plan was to order a sandwich/fries, give the fries to my husband so he could eat the steak and I’d take the pirogies…complicated, I know, but he didn’t want steak. When I got the plate, I was impressed by the beauty of the meal, but the taste of the sirloin was astounding! I thought it was a filet. Will definitely so again…with a reservation.

Food was very good. The veggie scramble is an egg and vegetable dish, and it contained a variety of fresh and tasty vegetables that were cooked nicely. The shrimp and grits were great as well, 4 tender shrimp and grits that were smooth and creamy but still with texture, and topped with browned garlic, bacon pieces, and kale. We had the orange mousse, also really good, light and fluffy with a caramelized nut topping. It was our first time there, and the place has a nice atmosphere which is suitable for a date or an outing with friends.

A friend recommended this place and we were not disappointed! Would absolutely go here again. Blueberry maple old fashioned and whatever specials they have currently are amazing. Our waitress recommended some things and was so pleasant. The atmosphere outside in the evening was lovely.

This is possibly or probably the best restaurant in Sioux Falls. I grew up around making burgers and this is possibly the best restaurant burger place I’ve had. The fennel salad to pair is divine. My wife loves the salmon and burgers as well. Cocktails are delicious and affordable. Tonight had mussels as well. Good for foodies or picky eaters. Come eat here if you live in or are visiting Sioux Falls.

So have you ever had a experience to where at first you were like hmm I'm not sure about this place? Well today I did. So for a appetizer we had the chili shrimp. Hands down, that was amazing. Sweet, spicy, crunchy, yet still the shrimp was soft and flavourful. I highly recommend it. For my entrée, I had the perrogi and steak tips(med rare). Perrogis were crispy yet soft. Insides were firm yet creamy. Had that goat cheese bite but wasn't sure if it was goat cheese. Steak tips were 8/10 tho. Easily tell they were flashed fried and not stove topped ot pan cooked. Yet they were still really good. Onions were sautéed to just the right point. Soft yet crunchy. The creamy sauce was amazing! Just a touch of pepper was all the plate needed. Now onto the other meal on my table. That was just the good ol fashion with a twist Mac n cheese. Now I'm not sure which was better, mine or hers. I couldn't help but jump from plate to plate. Now there is no complaints what's so ever on the Mac n cheese, but there could be a few additional items that would make it oh so much more better. The whole all around atmosphere was laid back. I know I will definitely be going back and bringing more people.

Update to previous review: Have been back many times over the past few year, always a great experience, staff is always friendly. Everything I have ordered has always been good. Look forward to coming back for years to come. 4 stars as our waiter, food and drinks made up for the short comings of the host. I will return at some point. Great chislic and long island teas, I imagine the rest of the menu is just as good. Dined here 7/23/20, with a 6:15 reservation for the patio. Arrived at 6:00, there were a few dining but definitely not busy inside. Upon approaching the host I stated we had a reservation, gave him the name. He looked at his watch and scoffed "at 6:15", looks at me like I had the audacity to show up 15 min early. He then begrudgingly picks up the menus and asks if we still want the patio. I said we would and followed the host to the patio. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I thought maybe it was really busy on the patio. However we were asked what table we would like as there were plenty available to choose from. At this point I realized that the host is just rude.

Appetizer are great, entrees are fantastic, and awesome beer. Durning happy hour apps are $3 off and draught beers are $2 off. The pierogi and chislic appetizer will ruin store-bought pierogies. The Bree is delightful with fresh blueberries and the lamb shank will melt in your mouth, so tender you don't need a knife. Will be back.

We went for a late lunch, so it wasn't very busy at all. Seated very quickly, received drinks, apps, and meals in a very timely manner. Our waitress was excellent, food was superb, drinks were quality, and ambiance was great!

In all honesty, I’ve never eaten here. But I was at Chilifest for The Banquet tonight and I can’t wait to have a meal at 22TEN. First or all, the Chili offered by 22TEN was made with ground bison. Six gallons of bison chili is a major expenditure, and was an incredible donation by ownership. Secondly, what the chef did with that bison was pure art. It was terrific. Smoky at the front, a hint of Cincinnati chili and wonderfully and unusually spiced with a very pleasant back burn. This got my vote because it was meat and gravy. No beans, and the chef was thinking out of the box without going completely off the rails. If you put this on the menu with a half a grilled three cheese you’d have a hell of a time keeping me away at lunchtime! After enjoying your chef’s neotraditional take on chili, I cannot wait to come and try some of the items on your menu. Thank you so much!!!

Great food, salted to perfection. Sirloin and perogies were amazing. Wallet was also cooked to perfection and the mashed potatoes were amazing. The only negative is how loud the restaurant is.

Visited on a Saturday night about 6:15pm and a 30-40 minute. Not a very large waiting area inside. With 4-5 groups waiting felt pretty tight by the front door. It took about 40 minutes to be seated. The staff was very good and would give them 6 stars. We ordered Old Fashions to drink and they were good. Ordered a Black and Blu burger which was perfect. Unfortunately, my wife's burger was under cook and had to be sent back. The staff handled this well, but no comp on that issue was offered. Never a good thing when you don't eat together. The menu is somewhat limited in my mind. We wouldn't rush to go back.

The bartender was awesome. I ordered the Steak & Pierogies, and a side of the balsamic brussels sprouts. Both were great, but the steak was a little over seasoned in my opinion. The pierogies were awesome with the steak. Very creative pairing!

Really busy tonight. Food was good service excellent. My cowboy burger was messy but very good. The baked brie was good. The quesadilla was perfect. The pork chop had a lot of pearl onions but overall good meal.

D
Dede Farrar

I'd give it a 4.5. The cocktail, I had a Manhattan, was out of this world great. I had steak tips chimichirri with shaved brussels sprouts and fries (fancy for fries). The food was very good although a little greasy for my taste. I'd definitely go here again. It's obviously popular as it was full and I had to sit at the bar which was no problem.

I had the Ruben, it was great. My mother had a French chicken dish and my wife had the other chicken specialty with shrimp. We were seated outdoors and warned there are some bees, but no big bother (flies would be worse). We were in the shade on a nice, sunny day with a gentle breeze, so it was very pleasant. My wife got the French chicken instead of what she ordered, and of course I had to say something and they made it right. My wife was not fond of the sauce. My mother really enjoyed her dish, but spilled her wine waving off a bee, so my wife's plate got dowsed, but she was nearly done anyway.

Loved the decor, Enjoyed the Shareable menu. Baked brie was divine, Mussels were good just a wee bit salty. Very much enjoyed the service. Will definitely be back!

Enjoyed the vibe of the place. Staff were friendly and relatable. Not a huge menu which seems the right choice for this style of place. Food was good and quality fit the prices. Few things were over cooked. Salads were fresh with nice variety of ingredients.

Totally would've gave the 22TEN a 5 star but the French Fries just weren't good, BUT everything was amazing. My cocktail choice was the Bramble, spot on exactly what I was looking for tonight. Flavors were great and I wasn't expecting this good of a cocktail coming from a restaurant in Sioux Falls. The bartenders and servers were excellent! I ordered the Duck Sliders with a side of French fries. The sliders were absolutely amazing. Seriously, duck is hard to do and they nailed it. A dish worthy of a second ordering. Now the reason I didn't give 5 stars. The French fries, which I believe people judge the most off of were terrible. I've had better at fast food places. Some of them were cold, not seasoned, over cooked, soggy, just a terrible experience for a French fry. Seriously you can do a perfect duck slider but can't perfect the French fries. Super disappointed by this, BUT I will totally be back. Sometimes things are just off for the night. All in all, if you're in Sioux Falls for any reason and want a great meal this is a great new place!

Located in a strip mall but, as they say, looks can be deceiving. They have done a fabulous job decorating this place. It is bright, modern and very inviting. Oh, and they have REAL salt and pepper shakers! There is a bar area and dining area in an open air concept. BTW if you are here for Happy Hour, head on over to the bar. (It would be nice if the hostess asked.) Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. She offered several suggestions for food options. We decided on sharing the Chili Shrimp and Elk Ravioli along with The Brutus and Spinach salads. The salads came first and were fresh and tasty. I especially loved the spinach salad for its varied ingredients and vinaigrette. The shared plates were generous, but we managed to finish both. The shrimp were crisp with a definite heat especially if you (accidentally?) swiped them them through the sriracha. The accompanying slaw was crunchy and added a nice cooling effect. We were excited to try the ravioli but were a bit disappointed. It was rather bland, and the ravioli itself was very firm. All in all we really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely return when in the area.

Place was packed on noon thirty on a Thursday, which initially surprised me but then didn’t seem all that strange when I considered that this is one of the only places in town that isn’t a chain. I’m in Sioux Falls on a business trip and have been severely disappointed with the lack of choices when it comes to food. At 33, I was the youngest in the place at lunch time, and the prices were median but something I would have reconsidered if I hadn’t had a per diem. I ordered the lemon cake martini (fine), the steak tips and pierogis (the steak was flavorful but a little more chewy than I would have liked but the pierogis were AMAZING) and the cheesecake (also fine) Service was kind, if a little long— but considering how busy they were, I am more forgiving about this aspect. I would recommend coming here early or prepared to wait. There are some unique cocktails and different food items with plenty of familiar ones in the mix. In a town full of chipotle, fast food tacos, and mall food court-esque offerings, this place stands alone. If you’re sick to death of fast food, I highly recommend it.

We greatly enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. The service was a little slow, but they were quite busy when we came in. We ordered the Moroccan nachos and duck sliders. The nachos had great flavor and the sliders were excellent. We each ordered a drink and both were great. I would suggest!

My wife and I visited 22Ten on February 15 for our Valentine's meal. Across the board, all the food we had was delicious. The Moroccan Nachos made with fried wonton chips and served with braised beef were a nice spin on traditional nachos. My wife ordered the petite filet, medium rare, I ordered the lamb shank. We both also ordered a side salad: My wife ordered the petite Brutus, and I ordered the petite spinach chevre fennel salad. The side salads arrived about the time we finished our nachos. The salads were a delightful combination of fresh greens and vegetables. The fennel salad also contained small bites of candied fruit. It was one of the best side salads I have ever had. My wife's steak was flavorful, tender and juicy but was much closer to rare than medium. It was served with steamed asparagus over a bed of garlic mashed potatoes. My lamb shank was served over a bed of rosemary spaetzle, a light sauce and with fresh herbs. The lamb shank was braised perfectly... tender and delicious. For dessert we ordered one of the special holiday offerings: Chocolate Seduction. It consisted of an assortment of chocolates, sponge cake and a strawberry rhubarb sauce. Our server, Haley, was very pleasant, attentive and willing to offer comments about the dining options offered...a definite positive in our dining experience. The only real knock on 22Ten and the reason for the four star rating: It's too loud in the dining room. To add to that, one person seated at the table next to ours was doing whatever necessary to be heard over the surrounding noise.

Normally food, drinks and atmosphere are great. Visited last night and was very underwhelmed with the food. I ordered a Pear Old Fashioned, a salad and a Ribeye Steak while my wife order a Kung Pao Bowl. The drink was great. The salad was soggy with way too much dressing. I ordered my ribeye medium rare. It was medium well. In defence if the chef, the ribeye was so thin that it would have been impossible to get to medium rare. The steak was also without any char. My wife normally loves the Kung Pao Bowl and again the flavors were great but the beef slivers we're mostly too tough to eat. This is our 1st bad experience here as the food normally is good. Hopefully it was just a bad night! We will try again in the future.

Great customer service, very average food. Our dishes were all on the small side and all just not that good. The food was generally super bland, and the fries presented were cold and hard. For the relatively high cost, I just feel like there are better options out there.

The atmosphere is humming and very inviting . Artwork on walls is very cool .The soup and salad was delicious but my Sweet Potato Fries were nicely burnt ! Very disappointing!

Clean, cute, friendly, nice service….but the food was not great. Edible but boring. We tried a pasta, salad, steak tips, elk ravioli, the ricotta cheesecake. Cheesecake was the best but not life changing. Would not go again

I took My daughter out for dinner, she’s 4 so I had to take her to the batheroom In the middle of our meal. When I came back our food was gone and when they realized we were still eating they brought my food back like this with my daughters dirty plate stacked on top, her ketchup was in the ranch container, dirty napkins on top and then brought my half drank drink back from the dishwasher… I didnt say anything because I was speechless and my 4 year old goes my mom says that’s nasty, so the waitress made me half a steak. I just felt incredibly uncomfortable that they gave that to me and if my daughter hasn’t spoken up they just were gonna expect me to eat that. We just started our meal and paid full price plus tip. But wow I felt disrespected
