My husband and I had never been and were excited to spend our Valentine's Day here for dinner. We were greeted by staff who were super friendly. The Valentine's Menu included a salad, entree and dessert. The bread basket was warm and the bread was perfectly baked on the outside but warm and fluffy on the inside. The house salad was also amazing. My husband ordered the Tortellini Carbonara (which I couldn't help but take a bite of). The tortellini was cooked perectly and coated with the perfect amount of sauce. I ordered the Nino's Classic which came with the biggest meatball I have ever seen and was cooked to perfection. The dessert was mini canolis with a piece of red velvet cake to share which was sweet, and moist (but not too sweet). The dinner was more than dinner it was an experience. The staff checked on us regulary to ensure we enjoyed every aspect of our meal. It flowed at the perfect pace to allow us to enjoy eachothers company and conversation, and to not be rushed through while also ensuring that we weren't waiting between courses. The waitress, and who I presume was the manager asked how we enjoyed our experience. I would HIGHLY recommend! We had a 10/10 experience, and cannot wait to go back to try additional menu items as many others on the menu looked delicious as well!!
Bellini's is more than a place to dine; it's an experience! If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine paired with an elegant atmosphere, this is THE place. Whether you want an intimate, romantic dinner for two, small gathering or to host a private event, they offer it all. My fiancé and I had the pleasure of working with Misty to arrange our engagement party in the private room in the Slingerlands location. Misty was detail-oriented, offered us an early arrival to setup the decor and ensured mini cannolis would be prepared fresh after dinner. The long banquet table in the private dining area offered the perfect blend of timeless, romantic and traditional feel we desired most. The main courses were spectacular and even offered a variety of gluten-free options! We highly recommend booking your private events at either location.
Went for a baby shower luncheon.. the food was so flavorful.. the salads were crisp and tasty… the staff was amazing and were so helpful… went above and beyond… if they were this good for a shower I can’t wait to try them for a dinner.
Had the tortellini. Wife had the salmon. Cousin had the gnocchi. Each of us commented that the meal was delicious. Good food well prepared and presented. Service was excellent and professional. Atmosphere was clean modern but very noisy. With hearing aids, background noise interferes with conversation. I had difficulty hearing my wife and cousin. 10/7/25 addition: Had takeout and the 'Napolitan" with seared chicken, jumbo shrimp, wild mushrooms, roasted tomato garlic sauce, and a wonderful risotto. It was delicious.
Had my daughters baby shower there. The place was clean and easy to get to. The food was exceptional and wait staff were accommodating and so nice. We will go back.
I’ve been coming here since the opened, they’re always spot on. The new place is beautiful (Formerly Roux, another favorite) they’ve changed it up a bit looks great and always immaculate and clean. Staff very attentive and look the part as well and now the food, Ohhh the food, last night I popped is for pizza, salad and a drink. It was exactly what I need. I started out with a Hot & dirty Martini which was a great start made just how I liked it, then ordered the Sicilian pizza and Prodoto salad with prosciutto wrapped/cooked shrimp, OMG, you cannot miss with that combination for sure. Price point right where it should be, what a very welcoming established agent. Always return, oh and a quick Peroni too ;)
This is a gem of a place. With indoor and outdoor seating everyone can be comfortable. Growing up Italian, Bellini's takes us back to comfort food like no place except home. Come for the amazing meals and great assortment of beverages but make sure to stay for dessert. Or at least take it home. Polenta croutons are my favorite! This is a great place to go for food allergies. They are very accommodating and have many options on the menu excluding popular allergies.
For what it is, it’s very good. We usually sit at the bar and enjoy their salads with salmon or one of the chicken options. Bar tenders are good, personable and attentive. Great pesto olive oil dipping sauce with their bread and the Polenta croutons are a signature favorite! Pizza is popular as are classic dishes like chicken parm.
If I could give it 3.75 stars I would. This place is a “good” (not bad, not great). The best part is the eggplant stack appetizer. Also, the gnocchi was pillow soft and risotto just right. However, the worst part are the cocktails. The espresso martini was especially frustrating - they have an espresso machine at the bar but instead of using fresh espresso they use cold brew or a mixer, with a lifeless foamless result. I’d still come back for that eggplant but will get a wine next time.
We took our Mom out Sunday for dinner, a party of 7. I ordered a chicken special that was supposed to be served with garlic mashed potatoes. The potato on my dish was substituted with glorified French fries. My husband ordered a veal dish served over mashed which was also substituted with the same potato wedges. The waitress never mentioned anything about being out of garlic mashed potatoes. The potato wedges DID NOT go with our meals. I wouldn't have ordered my meal had I known. My husbands dish also said it was served with spinach which they also substituted with bok choy. Our meals were very under whelming. When I mentioned it to the waitress she apologized and then never came back to our table. When you are spending 400$ on dinner l expect to get what I order. The apps were very good and other meals were good but it was a disappointment that night.
Today was a hit, I usually order meatball ricotta oven fire pizza to dine at table, then order 16 inch with two extra toppings to home. Today pizza was flavor full of delicate seasonings, dough elasticity and thickness was executed well. Calamari cooked tender and lightly seasoned.Last month was a failure, I ordered meatball/ricotta with two extra toppings on pizza and margarita 16 inch with two extra toppings for home. Bellina's always used San Marzano tomatoes that has sweetness and balanced acidity, arrived home and pizza did not have extra two toppings ,sauce was extremely bitter (sauce was changed) I phoned bellinis manager to advise the error, he advised next time I'm in they would make adjustments. In today's economic inflation / recession you expect consistency of product that compliments flavors on delicious fresh food that one expects, this is what brings in repeat clientele. Consistency and excellence and attention to detail.
I called for a pick up order earlier today- two entrees and an extra side of meatballs. I specifically asked the girl if the dinners came with salads. I could tell she was new because she was unsure, so she said she would go double check, which I appreciated. She came back to say yes they came with salads pasta and bread. I said great, then that will complete the order. We get home after picking up the order and there are no salads. I called and explained the situation to the girl on the phone and she said she would get the manager, so I re explained when she came on the line. She said well the girl is new, so she didn’t know. I explained that she asked someone else, so apparently multiple employees were unaware and it was their mistake. She said well you can come get side salads and I’ll give you 15% off, but you didn’t technically order them so there’s not much I can do. I said we are at a family event, which was visiting my grandma and bringing her dinner after getting out of the hospital, and this was frustrating to say the least having to leave and to get these salads but only 15% off?! And I DID order them because I was told they came with the meal! She kept repeating what she already told me so the conversation wasn’t getting anywhere. This was so frustrating! Not only was that $70 meal (which is soooo not worth the price, it’s higher quality fast food, it’s nothing special) but the only solution offered was so unhelpful. I would have picked up side salads for free and been aware next time that the meals do not come with them, instead they lost customers tonight. This place is not worth it!
It was not even busy when we were there but the service was absolutely awful, at the bar. The food was even worse. The calamari was soggy and tasteless and the pizza was worse than a Price Chopper take n bake. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. No really, we asked for our check and even that took an exorbitant amount of time. This was the 4th place we went because the other 3 were busy. Now I know why.
Order the Di casa salad the lettuce and tomatoes were rotten. Called Bellinis manager Missi at Slingerlands location where we ordered takeout she said this is how they serve their salad she spoke to the chef who said the salad is fine to serve this way. The dinner was cold as well. Be careful.
Hardly ever write bad reviews but this was one of the worst meals ive gotten out in a very long time. Bruschetta was soggy, chicken alla vodka was bland, pasta was over cooked. Bellini’s restaurant used to be so good & Bellini’s counter is still a regular favorite of mine, i don’t know if it’s just this location but this was extremely disappointing for how much $ we spent.
Our family dined in on New Year’s Day. Although the atmosphere is very nice, our experience was not so nice. We had the private room for a party of 12 however, upon our arrival, the table was set for 9. We had to shuffle seating around to add more settings which wasn’t a huge deal but once we sat down, we found that 3 of the chairs had very wobbly legs causing us to have to tighten them or change out chairs altogether. The waitress was great and very upset that from the onset, there were issues. She asked the manager to come and talk to us however they never came. After a lot of shuffling we finally got settled in and placed our drink and appetizer order. The server did a great job with us and was very kind. I have to say that are entree’s were sub-par. The salmon was very over cooked and dry, the chicken Parmesan was dry and definitely over cooked as well as the pasta being way too soft. I have been to Bellini’s in Slingerlands a few times now since they opened in the new location and each experience has been disappointing. The restaurant itself is very well appointed however the food is not at all what it should be for the prices that are being charged. After this most recent experience, I will not be going back unfortunately.
I used to buy gift cards every year for my clients. But this time when I check my receipts.I found some extra charges. When I tried to communicate with the manager. He told me there was nothing he could do about it. This is a very disappointing result. I’m the business owner too. I don't think it is reasonable to charge extra fees without any prompting.and there is also tax money added.which is crazy for buying a gift card . Never buy again!
