Ignore the haters, we've been 3 times this week and it did not disappoint! Girthy ribs, scrumptious burgers. Service fire, cool vibes, great music. Try the chicken burger its awesome, try the ribs they're juicy as hell, Americana is a wow. Good value for money, €110 for 6 people with drinks. Can't beat it. Luke, love from the UK 🇬🇧

Really friendly staff, amazing food, lovely interior and atmosphere. I had the “Iron’s Smash Burger” and it was great! The owner was lovely and let us bring our dog inside with us and was happy to speak to us in English. Highly recommend.

Ordered the portobello Burger (vegetarian friendly) and absolutely lovely. Great prices and drinks too. Came in here after I tried another place around the corner that just ignored me trying to order, so I recommend this place as very welcomming

Pasamos a cenar, en general bien y el personal muy amable. Las burger están. Urnas aunque las papas medio frías. Pedimos una ensalada fresca y hecha con cariño pero bastante escasa en relación a su precio.

El lugar nos pareció un acierto. La carta de hamburguesas es muy variada, incluyendo opciones vegetarianas y también de pollo. La presentación es muy original, y las raciones bastante aceptables. De los entrantes, los que más nos gustaron fueron los nachos. La decoración es muy agradable y la terraza muy coqueta. Repetiremos

Pedimos nachos, hamburguesas y postre y nos gustó todo. Es un local muy amplio y muy bien decorado, acogedor. Las camareras muy amables y el servicio rápido. La estrella que falta es por la calidad de los productos en detalle: los nachos, queso… pero cuando hay hambre, hay hambre. Recomiendo ir si estás de paso en Somo.

Fuimos a celebrar mi cumpleaños y la experiencia fue muy buena. El ambiente era muy agradable y las camareras muy simpáticas. En cuanto a la comida la verdad que estaba buena; en mi caso soy celíaca y había varias opciones sin gluten. Calidad-precio bastante bien. Para repetir sin duda.

Comida buena , precio un poco caro en las raciones , tamaño pequeño … pero hay que decir que el local está ambientado increíble y que la carne de las hamburguesas es de buena calidad . El detalle de traer la cuenta en una carátula de una cinta un puntazo .

Buen sitio para comer hamburguesas. Carne muy buena y opción de pan burguer sin gluten. Buen ambiente y una decoración muy original. Personal muy amable.

It is a burger place often busy but the service is fast. Burgers are good enough. A good option after using allá your energy surfing in Somo and want to recover It. Good burger place. Burgers were very juicy and tasty but there was too much meat for my taste. Also we got an additional pulled pork that they put in the wrong burger 🤷🏽‍♀️ the rest was good. The pulled pork itself, the bun, the sauce, even the caramelized onions in Contabra were good 👌🏼

Restaurante con mucho ambiente que mezcla el Surf con la comida Americana. Muy amplio, nos tocó una camarera muy profesional, y la comida quizás mejorable en calidad, la intensidad de las salsas enmascaran el sabor de la carne y otros productos. Tiene diferentes opciones de burger, entrantes como alitas, nachos, patatas … Está bien ubicado.

Pedimos hamburguesas para llevar, estaban preparadas para la hora indicada. La de buey estaba un poco seca y las patatas que la acompañaban eran congeladas. La cántabra estaba rica. El local está decorado con ambiente surfero. Buena relación calidad precio.

Nos gusto mucho el sitio, súper bien decorado. Tardaron un poco en traernos la comida pero cuando llego éramos 6 y tenemos opiniones diversas, cantidad esta muy bien calidad-precio. Los nachos buenísimos pero las hamburguesas algunas muy ricas y otras se quedaron un poco secas.

There are vegan and gluten-free options and they are ok, not great. Expensive for what you get. The service could be better. We were there twice. The first time three of five glasses were very grimy as though they had been used already. I asked for new ones, which never came. Second time one of our burgers arrived only after asking for it three times and about half an hour after everyone else of our party had eaten.

Quite a long line and a bit understaffed. The wings were great, the burgers average. I would say there's better places to go in Somo. We spend about 25eu per person for dinner.

in the surf community of somo, lucky to have a mexican restaurant, however this offshoot of their more famous restaurant that serves burgers has sadly a mediocre selection of mexican food mainly non-authentic carbonized tacos with the wrong kind of tortillas and possible nachos with premade guacamole. suggest adding more authentic items like chili rellanos, enchiladas, tamales, and horchata. the few fish items on the menu were all out including ceviche

Pricey, I guess because it's very close to the beach, but still, I don't feel is worth it. Burgers are great I had the Cantabria local and the cheese was amazing the meat was at the point but it didn't include chips or any side, TIP: If you go with someone else one order of fries should be enough. Customer service is good and fast.

Nice place, old-fashioned furniture. Starters menu is fine, but if you go for Nachos, ask for Diablos, the basis are expensive and not good enough for the price. If you order a hamburger it doesn't have chips or any side, so you would have the same feeling as the nachos. The crunchy chicken fillet burger is surprisingly thin, the BBQ burger is tasty and is the best option on the menu. Cheesecake is homemade and tasty as well but barely ok. Customer service is good.

El local es muy chulo y el personal agradable. Pedimos la Bbq trouble, q estaba bastante buena, carne al punto y buen sabor. También pedimos la Crispy chicken, q llevaba un filete de pechuga finísima mal rebozada y queso tipo plástico. Las patatas camperas muy malas, de mala calidad, mal fritas y sin sabor. Una lástima q cobren tanto por unos productos tan malos, porque el local y la situación son perfectos.

Local amplio y con buena decoración. Fuimos a cenar tres parejas y entre los nachos y las hamburguesas tuvimos que esperar más 40 minutos. Aunque el personal era agradable, se notaba falta de experiencia en la gestión de las mesas. En cuanto mi hamburguesa, (Americana), la carne estaba muy pasada y seca, costandome comerla a pesar de la buena pinta que tenia. Las patatas muy ricas y los nachos muy correctos a un precio competitivo. No volveré.

Sadly the service was horrible. The waiter doesn‘t care at all what he is doing. Was all the time on his phone instead of working. The burgers were basic, meat was good, bun was not good, fries were ok. The vegan burger is absolutely horrible.

Al principio Irons era una buena hamburguesería y fue decayendo poco a poco y ahora te cobran 16€ por esta ensalada que no tiene ni tomate, y la lechuga parece que está hecha de plástico.

Horrible management. I ordered a burger to be cooked well done and it came out raw (not just pink but raw) in the middle, so I asked to cook it again and it once again came out raw. I took 3 bites to be nice and just couldn’t do it, so I asked if I could change to order to nachos and they said no, then asked me to pay since I “ate” the burger. This place and management is a joke. Spend your money somewhere else is my recommendation.

I would’ve given 0 star if I could. The customer service is so bad: I asked for a well done burger; first time they brought it raw - I asked to cook it more. Second attempt again came raw and a waiter didn’t even apologise. Then I asked for a hotdog instead, it hasn’t never been brought and the waiter didn’t give a damn. After waiting for over an hour and half I left hungry and went to another place. Avoid at all cost!

We waited probably 2 hours to get our burgers, plus we had to solicit them because we were starving; the waiters barely smiled at us the entire time, not a really nice service. The nachos were actually fire, my beyond burger was very sad and the fries that came with it were lame mostly because not fresh, they had been done for some time already. The atmosphere is cute and the options are vast and vegan as well but because of the waiting and the bad service i’m giving it a 1 star review and my 5 friends would say the same. bye :)

Avoid like the plague! Our evening at Irons Somo went from bad to worse. I went out for dinner with a group of friends (we were 8 in total), we all ordered burgers and fries - nothing too difficult. An hour and a half after ordering, our food came in drips and drabs. 7 burgers finally arrived, mine was nowhere to be seen. After asking the waitress where my burger was she went to the kitchen and I had to chase her again after 10 minutes, by which time all of my friends had finished eating as they were ravenous. We asked to speak to a manager. 10 minutes later the waitress came back and asked if we really wanted to speak with her manager.... the answer was most definitely yes. After waiting for more than half an hour to speak with a manager and asking for the bill more than 5 times we all got up from the table and stepped outside. Within seconds the manager came storming out of the restaurant aggressive and abrupt with an army of men with him trying to intimidate us. He almost slammed my arm in the door with absolute no remorse. Safe to say the police were called. When we finally received the bill they tried to charge us for 8 burgers.... Disgusting service, ill-mannered management and overall an extremely unpleasant experience. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from in Somo, I wish we had read the reviews of this place before coming. Avoid, avoid, avoid. ** Since receiving a reply from management I would like to re-iterate, that we asked for the bill FIVE TIMES before leaving the restaurant. It was only once we got up that management bothered to speak with us. If we hadn't got up from our seats god knows how long we would have had to wait... The below response just shows how disgusting, bad mannered and unprofessional this place is. As I said, avoid like the plague.

Terrible customer experience Fooled I called to make a reservation for 10 people. They asked me whether I'd prefer inside or on the patio. They asked my name and time of arrival. I had booked my table. I arrive only to find out they don't actually do reservations. Its first come fist serve. One hour later, after waiting most of the time standing we are still hoping the food is good. Had they told me there is no reservation, I would have found an alternative. Misleading and unfair information and little regard for their customers time.

Undoubtedly the worst burger of my life. I have serious doubts as to whether or not the burger patty was actually beef. It tasted like anything but Black Angus beef. The restaurant is way under-staffed and it shows in the lack of efficient and professional service. The waiters are young and inexperienced and that only added to my frustration. Aside from that, I had to practically beg for the bill four times. I should have just got up and walked out. Never again!
